Join us at Nofrills Excursions on our unique full day trip to the valley of Soller and Valldemossa .

This trip will take us first to  Valldemossa,  where you can stroll through the peaceful cobbled streets or relax and enjoy a coffee while you devour one of the local delicacies such as the 'coca de patatas' (small potato-based sponge cake) as at this time of the day we usually have the charming town to ourselves. You can join our guide for a relaxed walk around the streets or visit at your own pace the Carthusian Monastery and the famous composer Chopin's House (entrances are not included in the price).

After Valldemossa, we board the coach for a delightful sightseeing ride through the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range which has been named world heritage site and is protected by UNESCO. We will pass the picturesque towns of Llucalcari and Deia . Have your camera ready, as our next stop is the pretty town of Soller.

The spectacular Valley of Soller  is famous for its splendid orange and lemon groves, as well as its quaint, original tram ride,  which is included in the price. Visiting these areas will allow you to discover the island's most natural beauty, making you fall in love with the precious landscapes you will be witnessing throughout the day.

We will arrive in Soller Valley at around 13:30. First we will visit the old village of Soller where you can take a pleasant walk to see the most important landmarks of the village such as the main square, Can Prunera Museum, Soller's modernist-style bank, the church of Soller and many more interesting places. If you like art, you can also have a look at the Picasso Ceramic Museum. We will be staying in Soller for about 90 minutes and there will be enough time for lunch (not included). In the town of Soller you will find a wide range of cafes and restaurants where you can eat anything from typical Mallorcan dishes, a menu of the day or just a quick bite.

You will also have time to relax in Soller as you enjoy an orange juice or an orange ice cream both a must in this valley famous for its delicious oranges.

At around 15:00 we will take the tram to go to Port of Soller , the tram ride takes about 25 minutes.

In the Port of Soller  you will have about one hour free time so that you can stroll around and explore this charming natural port and, after visiting this place, our coach will take us back to resorts.

Special Observations:

• Lunch is not included but we stop in Soller where there is time for lunch and plenty of choice. 
• There is a 15 minute slow walk from the bus to the centre of the town in Soller. This is not suitable for people with walking difficulties (no problem for wheelchairs). If you have walking difficulties, please send us an email through the contact section and we can give you more information before you decide if this tour is suitable for you.

Approximate timetable of the tour:

The excursion starts at 09:00 and ends at around 17:45.

Pick up point:

The pick-up point and time are confirmed to you after you have made your booking. You will be picked up at your hotel or a nearby meeting point. Once you make the reservation you will receive two emails:

• A first one with all the details related to the booking which you can either print or show on the day of the excursion on your mobile phone or tablet.
• A second email indicating the exact pick up or departure point and the time you must be there.

For clients staying in Palma de Mallorca:

This tour is designated for clients staying in the north of Mallorca, but there is an option for clients staying in the south. They can get on the bus at the Mallorca Outlet shopping center in Marratxí, outside the information centre at 10:15. You can get there by taxi or by train from Palma.

Second time on this tour with excellent driver James and marvellous guide Catilina, ( sorry if spelling is wrong. ,)very professional tour all round.

Jeanine and Jaime took us on the lovely tour to Valldemossa, Soller and by wooden train to Puerto de Soller. The commentary in English and German was very informative. The charming mountain village of Valldemossa was our favourite and we were very pleased to arrive early and beat the crowds, so we could explore this gem before what was promising to be a busy day. We had a fantastic day with this well-thought through itinerary, delightful guide and experienced driver.

Great way to see some of the mountain towns. Not much to do in Soller. Would have been better to have more time at the port of Soller. However, overall great day!

We had less time than we needed at Valldemossa, which was the main object of our trip. This was exacerbated by our departure time from there being moved forward to accommodate another group whose coach had broken down. The tour guide was extremely capable and very entertaining!

Just such a wonderful day. Beautiful towns that we visited with wonderful food. Lots of interesting facts on our travels. Expert driving by Fernando through the windy roads up the mountains. My husband and I went on this tour, the tour guide was excellent extremely informative with a brilliant sense of humour. She was open to questions and very supportive throughout the tour. James the driver was so skilful on some narrow roads. This was our first holiday using no frills excursions and can not recommend them enough we did another tour with them (caves of drach) and once again excellent customer service. Very responsive to emails even before we arrived in Majorca.

The excursion to Valldemossa and Soller was a complete success meeting our expectations ! Katalena and James were a good pair with very interesting commentary from Katalena and skilful driving around some hair pin bends on very narrrow roads by James. This trip gave us a good insight into the West Coast of Majorca without the worry of driving. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this trip and would add that it is very good value for your money.

Catalina, the tour guide was very entertaining. Great trip, great views and lovely locations. Just enough time at each for a taste of the place. There is a short walk at one point which proved slightly difficult for a couple of the tour with some mobility issues but there was no rush for them and there is a nice break on the coach until Soller for them to recoup. The Tram ride was lovely and it takes you right through the centre of Valldemossa which had the market on the day we went so was busy. The customer service was great after the trip when I discovered I'd left items on the bus, they found the item and posted it back to the UK for me. I cannot recommend this trip or the company enough.

The bus was air conditioned which was a relief due to the hot weather. Juan was great as he spoke 3 languages and kept the group entertained. The route back through the villages was beautiful. The tour on the bus wasn't really a tour, most of the time was spent at a military museum which had cracking views of the city.

Our first time with No Frills & we were not disappointed. Our driver Francisco was brilliant driving around the mountains & Albert our guide was excellent, he was very knowledgeable & very interesting & his English was brilliant! The coach, boat, tram & train were all very good. Would certainly use NO Frills excursions again.

We were picked up and returned on time and had a very informative guide. Wonderful drive through, up and down the mountains. Guide did not say anything about the grotto so we stumbled upon this just before the boat trip. We felt that this would have been a nicer placer to swim than the very small and crowded beach but did not know until too late. The boat trip was quite non descript as there was no information given about the route and what we could see. Also having no information given on the tram and train meant that we were not able to best appreciate the rides. Otherwise it was a very pleasant day.

What a great day!! This excursion was fabulous and the price was excellent considering what we covered. Our travel guide (Ester) shared so much information about Mallorca & gave us a wonderful day. We walked around the Port of Sóller & stop for a drink, then took the Tram to the old town of Sóller. Here we visited the town square & beautiful church with plenty of time to explore the streets & have lunch. The drive to Valldemossa was so scenic & pretty. Again we had plenty of time to walk,shop & eat in the gorgeous village of Valldemossa. We loved the potato cake & almond milk at Sa Foganya Bar & Restaurant (thanks for the tip Ester!) If you visit Mallorca then this trip is a “must” - highly recommend it! I learnt so much & enjoyed every minute.

Boat trip location info I was sent was unclear and misleading and as a result we missed the departure time.The woman running the subcontracted boat Marco Polo was unfriendly and rude. She said she was not responsible for No Frills or Trip Advisor bookings and was unwilling to help us. We reluctantly bought 2 more tickets with another firm who were very professional and friendly. Despite sending a email and requesting a 24€ refund two weeks ago, I have not received a reply.

We are a family of 5 (20 year old and 2 teenagers). We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Soller riding on the train and tram. Highlight for my son was the boat ride. Conditions meant we could not sail from Sa Calobra but had a 30 minute boat ride from Soller. The sea was rough but enjoyable. What a brilliant company we booked the island tour with no frills excursions our tour guide Juan was excellent he was friendly and very funny and knew everything about the history of the island and our driver Pedro was the best driver ever! Lol we were picked up at 08.45 and got back at 17.45 it was worth every penny the scenery was amazing never seen anything like it breath taking we will definitely use this company in the future

I visited the beautiful Island of Mallorca for our Easter Holidays with my husband and I must say that No Frills Excursion's Island tour has made our trip even more memorable. We stayed at Alcudia and visited the No Frills office to book this tour at the last minute. Luckily we got the last two tickets for the English speaking tour but I would suggest to book this tour in advance so that you don't lose the opportunity to see this beautiful Island through their fantastic trip. Our tour guide Albert was a lovely young Man and very funny. I remember him quoting the famous lines of great Charlie Chaplin, (he said he is a great fan of him) that a day without laughter is a day wasted. So he made our day really full of laughter and joy and because of the hospitality of the entire No Frills Team, I would definitely recommend everyone going for this Island tour. The views at Sa Calobra are breathtaking and the boat trip from Sa Calobra to Puerto Soller is amazing. Thank you No Frills Excursions. We loved every bit of your trip.

Our tour guide was Juan. He was great from the beginning to the end and so was the driver Jaime. We loved the island tour, got to experience some scenic views. Definitely recommend No Frills. Thank you Juan and Jaime, you were great!

Used this company for a couple of trips. Picked up on time each morning Good guides with good local knowledge. Our second trip to the caves of Drach was marred a little by some people having complete disregard for the time they needed to be back at the coach. One couple had to be retrieved from the beach. My thoughts are how long should a coach full of waiting clients be held up for 2 people-no apology. Our guide Juan made them run to the coach

We are aware that day some clients were late, and they didnt even reply, even when other clients helped to find them and the guide put a board with the time in front of the bus. If somebody is missing on one of the stops, we always try to wait and try to find, the last thing we want to do is to leave them stranded, I think they would apprecciate it and it is fair. regards nofrills excursions

Booked to see Son Amar show, boat trip and also the all Day Palma trip when we stayed in Alcudia. Shop was literally 100 yards from our hotel, was simple and easy to book! The guy in the shop was lovely, talked us through all our options and we didn't feel as though we were obliged to book anything! Prices were great as well and every trip planned went as planned and on time!

this excursion was very good and informative. the guys from NOFRILLS EXCURSION were very good, punctual and they made the excursion very interesting and funny all the way through. the guys were very helpful especially to the elderly. we will definitely booked again with nofrills excursions... to the guys of nofrills excursion, keep up the good work and hope to see you again...
