As usual, travelers stay overnight at hotels in Hanoi Old quarter's Area at night before, then we pick up  around 8am - 9am  in the next morning (Transfer from Hanoi to cruise harbor might take around 2-4 hours, depends on tours' class you book).

Travelers also flight from south of Vietnam/ Overseas to airport (Hai Phong airport, Noi Bai airport, Van Don airport) then do cruise on the same day, we can arrange for you transfer from airports directly to cruise harbors and join cruise but make sure u book early flight before 8am - 9am - 10am. Travelers must pay extra fee for car

Travelers also stay in near cruise harbor (for cruises are departed from Halong city), and you go to cruise harbor yourself, we show you location where to pick up easily.

If u stay in Tam Coc - Ninh Binh, we also arrange a private car (pay extra  fee ~ 170km- 3.5/4 hours driving) to cruise harbor and pick up at 8am from your hotels in Ninh Binh

The name halong came from the legend that a dragon landed on this bay. The view is wonderful. Each one of scattered islands gave me wonderful photos. My trip was just a day trip and I think it is too short. Spend at least one night. Yes photos of ha long bay are stunning, but you will be more stunned if you actually go there and see them with your own eyes..

Halong Bay was Visit on our Cambodia/Vietnam tour, we were very lucky to have our own guide and Junk Boat with crew.The Bay is such a beautiful place, we had a wonderful time spending all morning on the boat with lunch cooked for us.Halong Bay is certainly a must Visit if touring North Vietnam, fully recommended..

The views of the limestone islands in the Bay are stunning, especially if the weather cooperates. Strongly encourage one night on one of the many boats that ply the bay to allow for a less hurried itinerary and the very pleasant experiences of sunrise and sunset views. The boats are highly regulated and must stick to designated areas, but they are enough for lots of enjoyment. Various stops at caves, lookouts, kayaking, and small beach. Very good food on board our cruise with A-Class Stellar Cruises! Cabin was much cleaner and more "luxurious" than I expected..

Took the float plane both ways to save time. We only had one day and this was the best way to spend it. Thoroughly recommend the organisation we went with..

2 night 3 day cruise with v spirit, highly recommend, magic site even though we didn't go far into the bay. Lots of other boats at times added and detracted from the experience. Highly recommebd taking the extra night. Be careful who you go with as we heard some horro stories. Recommend v spirit great people, great service and food..

Just go and enjoy.. We stayed in a local boat Signagture over night so had a great opportunity to spend time just looking at the stunning scenery.. we also went canoeing to see some hidden away caves..

Halong Bay has been a dream of mine to visit for so long. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I could never get tired of the views! The colours and layers of all the cliffs and mountains are spectacular. Just make sure you find the right cruise - ours was overpriced and not worth it so do your research first! Also don't be surprised that there are a large number of boats around at night as they all park up together, but during the day we seemed to be on our own quite a lot. I think in the future this place won't be so nice as there is already so much rubbish floating around that it will continue to accumulate. Save this place by not littering and taking any rubbish back with you that you can..

This area has been a World Heritage Place among seven wonders of nature since 1994. What a beautiful spot on earth. A Halong Bay with its breathtaking beauty was undeniable and it is the most popular site to visit in Hanoi. There are many other things to do pay on the bay as well, like caving many many caves to choose from. Very helpful and informative and fun as well. If by overnight cruise, you can kayak by yourself to discover the bay, the cave more exciting..

the local village tour to Muong Hoa valley, Lao Chai and ta Vun village were worth for a visit. They also arrange a free taxi from our hotel in Sapa town to cable car station for us to visit Fansian peak..

Sung Sot Cave was impressive and beautiful, one of the best places I have ever visited. The services were also excellent and made up for the bad weather. The bays were nice and the waters were clear and tranquil. We were especially impressed by the views, food, and music. Such a luxurious experience!

The cruise team was supportive and attentive all the time. My vegetarian requests were also catered to amazingly. Everyone worked hard to make us feel comfortable. Kayaking and caving were definitely the highlights of the trip! Meals were diverse and delicious. Definitely recommend this cruise for all my friends.

Tung Sau Pearl Farm was amazing and informative. We were very fortunate to have a great tour guide with amazing English. The services were exceptionally superb and food was awesome with a luxury ambiance. Cabin was clean, neat, large, and beautiful. Halong Bay was a bit crowded but the cruise was well organized and all activities were fascinating!

A beautiful vacation! We had lovely experiences - enjoying the magnificent seascapes, tasty Vietnamese cuisines, cozy rooms, and nice staff. We really appreciated all the efforts for this lovely trip and wanted to stay longer with the cruise! The dinner was fabulous and we all enjoyed it a lot. But the cruise seems to end earlier than other cruises and the pace of the cruise was quite rushed.

Wonderful! We loved the night show and all other facilities on board. There were many things to do and we never felt bored. Our family spent 2 nights on Ambassador Cruise and it was totally value for money. The buffet meals were amazing with diverse flavors. The boat itself was spacious and had a lot of space. My kid especially loved the outdoor jacuzzi, which was really fun and safe. The places we visited were unique and tranquil. However, the information about itineraries some staff provided us was inconsistent and made me confused, luckily then the manager confirmed it.

We had such a nice vacation on Ambassador Cruise. The rooms were comfy and modern but it could have been nicer if they cleaned the balcony better. The cabins had everything you needed so it was unnecessary to bring a lot of stuff. The complimentary coffee daily was nice and pleasant. Food was delicious too. A very beautiful time in Halong Bay!

The activities were fun and really balanced to me - including visiting a pearl farm, saving, cooking class, Tai Chi,... Everyone was great, especially Hazel and Nicole. The bays were spectacular just like in photos and I highly recommend paying extra for the upper deck rooms to have nicer views. Time was tight though, but you did not have to join all the experiences.

Booking Policy

• 50 % of the total cost is required to secure the booking.
• The remaining balance is to be paid 15 days prior to the departure date.
• In some special cases, you will be required to pay the full cost or a number greater or smaller than the standard 50% to secure your booking.
• In some special cases, the deadline for payment will be required sooner or later than the standard 15 days prior to booking.

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather

If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.

• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!

Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance. The additional optional tours were also good, we did the Metro tour which I highly recommend, we also paid for the Kremlin tour. The hop on hop off has three different lines all included. They suggested we do the 1 hour boat trip and said they would drop us to the dock. 1) they dropped us in the wrong place 2) they were lost because of the marathon Then the boat, after we finally found it: 1) stinking fumes, actually gagging 2) no commentary, in fact, no interaction unless you begged 3) offered us 2 for 1 icecreams as they had melted and refrozen as the fridge gets turned off at night Honestly, we enjoyed the afternoon in the boat but spent all of it laughing at just how awful it was!!! The red route is quite exciting and takes about an hour. The bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes. However the other two routes take about two hours each and buses come every 30 to 40 minute period. If the bus is full then you have to wait at the stop for the next bus. So personally I feel that not much can be seen this way. I definitely was not impressed. The boat element was wonderful, we saw some amazing parts of Moscow along the river side. The bus element was very disappointing as it only started at 10am and was finished by 6:30pm. It was extremely warm when we were there and it would have been great to do the tour in the cool of the day. There was also no air conditioning in the down stairs part of the bus. The ear phones were small and sometimes the commentary did not link up with the sites you were seeing. The green bus takes you on a longer route and ours took two and a half hours due to the heavy traffic. I would not recommend this trip unless it is raining or you want to fill in time. The bus didn't stop at many points. Were were unaware a couple of times at what point we were and missed them. Headphones and maps were provided. Would recommend one should check out the route map before going and decide which places to stop in advance, this way one can manage and enjoy the tour more and us it more effectively.! And in the boat even tough we were 90% English speaking tourist at least, the tour guide spoke 95% of the time in Russia, and only 3 sentences in English, I really counted how many times she spoke in English. And at the end she asks us if we have any questions? Of course I told her I couldn’t ask her anything since I didn’t understand 95% of what she was saying. The boat tour is not worth it, just take the bus that would be my advice. Second minus is the waiting times, in the boat they made us wait an hour before it departed, and in many stops with the buses waiting times of 20-30 minutes.
