RAMMSTEIN RESCHEDULES TO AUGUST 27, 2022

Monday | may 24 , 2021.

RAMMSTEIN IN AMERIKA

FIRST-EVER NORTH AMERICA STADIUM TOUR

RESCHEDULED TO AUGUST 21 THROUGH OCTOBER 4, 2022

SECOND LOS ANGELES AND THIRD MEXICO CITY DATES ADDED DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND

“ If we define fun as the unknowing acceleration of time, then Rammstein’s particular brand of self-obliteration, in which time collapses entirely, is a guaranteed good time” —THE NEW YORKER

“The commitment to excessive pyromania was epic stagecraft on a Wagnerian scale, several notches up from most arena rock. More important was that the six-piece band… wasn’t dependent on those fireworks but could have easily punished and soothed the senses to nearly the same effect with music alone.” —THE LOS ANGELES TIMES

“One of heavy music’s biggest and most dynamic live acts” —CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND

The North American debut of the most extreme spectacle in live music will finally take place in fall 2022, when RAMMSTEIN brings its full-scale stadium production to this continent for the first time ever. Rock n roll’s most ambitious pyro-theatrical experience will be on display for a series of 12 open-air dates beginning August 21, 2022 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal and setting seven U.S. stadiums ablaze before concluding at Foro Sol in Mexico City on October 4, 2022. The tour is produced by AEG Presents.

Due to overwhelming popular demand, the tour has added a second date at the L.A. Coliseum on Saturday, September 24, 2022 and a third show at Foro Sol in Mexico City on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

***Tickets for the new shows will go on sale to the public 10am local time Friday, May 28. Tickets for the original shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates.  To purchase tickets or for further information, go to rammstein.com .

The full itinerary for the tour, RAMMSTEIN’s most extensive series of N.A. shows in 10 years, is as follows:

RAMMSTEIN’s six-man lineup CHRISTOPH SCHNEIDER, FLAKE LORENZ, OLIVER RIEDEL, PAUL LANDERS, RICHARD Z. KRUSPE, and TILL LINDEMANN, has remained unchanged since the band’s 1994 formation and 1995 release of its debut album, HERZELEID.  RAMMSTEIN’s second album, SEHNSUCHT, released in 1997, propelled the band to international fame and featured the GRAMMY-nominated single “DU HAST.” MUTTER, the third RAMMSTEIN album, was released in 2001 and was supported by what would be the band’s final U.S. tour for nearly a decade. REISE, REISE, the band’s fourth studio album, was released in 2004, preceded by the GRAMMY-nominated single “MEIN TEIL” and followed by fifth album ROSENROT in 2005. LIEBE IST FÜR ALLE DA, the sixth RAMMSTEIN studio album, was released in 2009 and reached #13 on the Billboard 200, making it RAMMSTEIN’s highest-charting album in the U.S. up to that point. LIFAD would be the first RAMMSTEIN album since 2001’s MUTTER to be supported by North American touring: On December 11, 2010, RAMMSTEIN played its first U.S. date in 10 years, a one-off headline at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The MSG show sold out in less than 20 minutes and was followed by extensive North American Tours in 2011 and 2012, which would sell out venues including the Forum in Los Angeles, Chicago’s Allstate Arena, the Bell Centre in Montreal and more. RAMMSTEIN made its debut on U.S. network television during the 2011 tour, performing “DU HAST” and “FEUER FREI!” on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!

RAMMSTEIN broke into the U.S. Top 10 for the first time with the May 17, 2019 release of its seventh and most recent album, which entered at #9 on the Billboard 200. Produced by Olsen Involtini with RAMMSTEIN, the untitled record is comprised of 11 new RAMMSTEIN tracks including singles “AUSLANDER,” “RADIO” and “DEUTSCHLAND." The release of the album was followed by the sold-out Europe Stadium Tour 2019, which ran May 17 through August 23, 2019.

Rammstein Announce Rescheduled 2022 North American Tour Dates

Rammstein have revealed that their anticipated  North American Stadium Tour , already rescheduled once before from 2020 to 2021, has again been pushed back — this time to 2022. Two additional concerts in Los Angeles and Mexico City have also been added.

Rammstein's seventh studio album, a self-titled (or untitled) affair, came out in 2019 .

Tickets for the new shows go on sale to the public at 10AM local time this Friday (May 28). For tickets and more information, head to rammstein.com/tickets .

A year ago, RAMMSTEIN postponed its 2020 North American stadium tour due to the coronavirus pandemic which is sweeping the globe. The trek was then moved to the summer of 2021 before being postponed once again.

RAMMSTEIN 's seventh, untitled album came out in May 2019 via UME / Spinefarm in Europe and Caroline Records in the U.S. The band's first studio disc since 2009's "Liebe Ist Für Alle Da" debuted at No. 1 on the album charts in 14 countries and was the band's tenth No. 1 in Germany. The LP was produced by Olsen Involtini with RAMMSTEIN and was mixed at a Santa Monica, California studio with Rich Costey , an American producer who has previously worked with MUSE , RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and FRANZ FERDINAND , among others.

The 25th-anniversary edition of RAMMSTEIN 's debut album, "Herzeleid" , was made available in December via Vertigo / UMe . "Herzeleid (XXV Anniversary Edition - Remastered)" features the album's original track listing on a single CD, housed in a lavish, cross-shaped digipak with deluxe slipcase, and, for the first time ever, the remastered album with HD sound was made available digitally. In addition, there was a 2LP version with a slipcase containing two 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl discs with blue splatter effect. The creator of the original artwork, Dirk Rudolph , was also responsible for the "Anniversary Edition" packaging. The booklets also contain the original band portraits shot by Praler . Both the CD and vinyl editions are strictly limited.

Rammstein Reschedule First-Ever North American Stadium Tour for 2022

The twice-postponed outing has added new dates in Los Angeles and Mexico City

Rammstein Reschedule First-Ever North American Stadium Tour for 2022

Rammstein fans will have to wait another year before the German band brings its dynamic live show to North America. For the second year in a row, the industrial-metal veterans have postponed the stadium outing, with a new itinerary now set for 2022.

Originally, Rammstein were set to stage their first-ever full stadium tour of North America in 2020, but that was postponed due to the pandemic and initially rescheduled for this year . While a number of bands have recently announced summer and fall outings, there are still restrictions in place for European acts who want to tour in the States. Thus, Rammstein aren’t taking any chances, instead rescheduling the stadium jaunt for 2022.

The good news is that a second date has been added to Los Angeles, while a third show has been tacked on to Mexico City. The 12-date tour now kicks off August 21st, 2022, in Montreal, and runs through an October 4th show in Mexico City. Along the way they’ll also hit Minneapolis; Philadelphia; Chicago; East Rutherford, N.J. (New York metro area); Foxborough, Mass. (Boston metro area); and San Antonio, Texas.

Rammstein’s tour was originally set to support their untitled 2019 album , which marked their first studio LP in 10 years. By the time they finally get to the States in 2022, the band may have another album out. Without the inability to tour, Rammstein hit the studio again during the pandemic, and confirmed that they recorded another new album .

The Rammstein frontman will play several shows across the U.S. and Canada this fall

rammstein north american stadium tour 2022

This fall, Till Lindemann is mounting a North American solo tour. The dynamic Rammstein frontman will be accompanied by Twin Temple. The run kicks off on September 17 at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas and wraps up at the historic Forum in Los Angeles, California on October 14. Lindemann is touring in continued support of his debut solo album, Zunge , which came out last November. The record peaked at No. 2 on the German Albums Chart.

Additionally Till is performing at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky in September alongside Mötley Crüe, Slipknot, Korn, Judas Priest, The Offspring, Seether, Anthrax, Disturbed, Evanescence, Five Finger Death Punch, Sum 41, Body Count, Architects, Jinjer, and many others.

Next month, Lindemann and Rammstein are embarking on another European stadium tour . The new round of shows begins on 5 May at Airport Letňany in Czechia, Prague and wraps up with two performances at Veltins-Arena in Germany, Gelsenkirchen on 26 July and 27 July. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.

Fans are certainly excited to see what surprises may be in store on this new tour. Last May, Rammstein played a warm-up gig ahead of their 2023 summer European stadium run. The show was attended exclusively by members of the band’s LIFAD Community fan club. The band played a 21-song set, complete with their full production and stage attire. One of the tunes they dusted off was  “Bestrafe mich” (“Punish Me”)  from their watershed sophomore album  Sehnsucht  ( Longing ). The LP came out in 1997, and the Rammstein had not played the song since 2001.

Industrial metal titans Rammstein released their eight studio album  Zeit  (Universal) on April 29, 2022. The record peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart. The album topped the charts in several countries, including the band’s native Germany.

Last year, Twin Temple released their third album, God is Dead . Known for their dynamic live shows, the group supported Danzig on their 35th anniversary tour of Danzig 1 . The band broke out in 2022 when they toured alongside Ghost and Volbeat.

Start Me Up: The Rolling Stones Commence Stadium Tour in Houston, Offer Debuts and Bust Outs

Start Me Up: The Rolling Stones Commence Stadium Tour in Houston, Offer Debuts and Bust Outs

In the fall, The Rolling Stones released their first album of original material since 2005’s A Bigger Bang , the blue-rock-laden Hackney Diamonds . While the set marked a pivotal turning point for the veteran act, following the passing of drummer Charlie Watts, it also promised a return to the arena circuit for live shows in support of the new set. Staying true to the implied arrival of concerts, the band launched night one of their extensive North American run on Sunday, April 28, at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

With 60 years of experience harnessed to an iconic repertoire and on-stage prestige, the esteemed entertainers honed in on double meaning with their first song as a fitting tour opener and play on meaning with “Start Me Up.” Continuing with classic picks, Mick Jagger feverishly moved across the stage, showing off his boy-like energy while reminding the audience, “Get Off of My Cloud.” Exile on Main St. pick, “Rocks Off,” arrived before a rare “Out of Time” performance, which hadn’t seen a live stage since Aug. 3, 2022.

After warming up the crowd, Hackney Diamonds ‘ cut “Angry” was the first pick from the band’s latest set, which inevitably gave way to the fan-voted song “Beast of Burden.” With seemingly boundless energy extending from Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood, the longtime bandmates delivered a live debut of their new cut, “Mess It Up,” and continued with top-played “Tumbling Dice” and “ Can’t Always Get What You Want” with ensuing band introductions.

Rather than wind things down, the band seemed to feed off the energy of the arena as they worked through a run of classics, including “Sympathy For The Devil,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Miss You,” Paint It Black,” and “Jumping Jack Flash.” With the arrival of the night’s encore, The Stones delivered their third and final Hackney Diamonds song, “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” essentially lamenting the roster of tour material as overwhelmingly classic as opposed to a presentation of the new Hackney set.

For the final delivery, the band went with another oldie but goodie, “Satisfaction.” With one date down, The Rolling Stones will continue to mark the map with appearances. They will resume their run on Thursday, May 2, with a highly anticipated headliner slot at the 2024 Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans. Masked Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor engages the crowd from the stage.

On June 29, 1999, Iowa-based heavy metal band Slipknot released their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album.

Twenty-five short years later, they’re one of the biggest groups in the world.

However, the heavy octet never forgot where they came from.

To celebrate their humble beginnings, the band is embarking on their 25th Anniversary ‘Here Comes The Pain Tour’ this summer.

From August through September, Corey Taylor and co. will perform at arenas, domes, amphitheaters and festivals all over North America with special guests Knocked Loose , Orbit Culture and Vended joining them on select dates.

New York fans are in luck, too.

Slipknot is scheduled to drop into Madison Square Garden on Monday, Aug. 12.

As for what to expect, the “Duality” group plans on keeping things intimate.

“We’re gonna make it more personal on the anniversary, but how remains to be seen,” Slipknot vocalist and drummer Shawn Crahan shared in a press release. “Just get ready to have your face kicked in. Because we just do what we do, spread that maggot culture — that disease. And you’ve been infected.”

“Maggots” that can’t wait to get infected their hands on tickets are in luck.

At the time of publication, tickets for all of Slipknot’s upcoming North American concerts and festival dates can be scooped up as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, May 3, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
