ranking global champions tour

Riesenbeck, Germany – July 20, 2023 –Out of the Top 10 on the current Longines Global Champions Tour ranking, all riders will compete in Riesenbeck International this week for the 11th stage of the season, at the home of Ludger Beerbaum. The largest ring of the season seems to be a fitting stage for the Titans to clash and for the title race to further unfold.

Championship anticipation reaches its peak as the world’s highest-ranked riders gear up to face off in a thrilling showdown at Riesenbeck International. Hosting the Longines Global Champions Tour for the first time, the event will witness an extraordinary gathering of the top 10 ranked championship contenders.

The weekend promises to be an exhilarating event with its vast and majestic arena, providing the ideal stage for these equestrian titans to showcase their incredible talent and skill. Spectators are in for a treat as they witness a fierce battle of precision, speed, and finesse as these remarkable riders compete for the coveted championship title.

The current Longines Global Champions Tour ranking features an exceptional lineup of accomplished athletes, each with their unique accomplishments and strengths. Among the elite contenders are:

1) Maikel van der Vleuten (NE) – A force to be reckoned with, Maikel has consistently delivered over the season. Leading the pack by over 50 points he is a formidable contender to finally get his hands on the overall season title.

2) Christian Kukuk (GER) – Competing this weekend at his home show, Kukuk has all to play for with only having to improve on his score of 0.2 points from Madrid to add to his tally.

3) Simon Delestre (FRA) – The Frenchman has recorded just 6 results on the tour this season. With the best 8 counting, he can easily close the gap on van der Vleuten, who needs a 22nd-place finish in Riesenbeck to improve his 8th-best championship score.

4) Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE) – After a shock elimination last weekend in A Courna, Malin only has 7 scores counting at the moment so if guaranteed to improve her score if she qualifies for the LGCT Grand Prix this week.

5) Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) – World number one has the horsepower to rocket to the top of the leaderboard this season. Taking it steady and playing the consistent game, how will be tackle this week’s track?

6) Harrie Smolders (NED) – The 2017 LGCT Champion occupies 6th place at the moment, but just like Epaillard, he has only recorded 5 LGCT Grand Prix results. His points per stage average is the highest of all riders and with Bingo du Parc, Monaco NOP and Uricas van de Kattevennen he has 3 Grand Prix horses in his stable that have jumped clears already, making him alongside Delestre the man with the most firepower.

7) Julien Epaillard (FRA) – Epaillard has recorded just 5 results in the LGCT Grand Prix so far, 1 less than Delestre and 3 less than the man from the lowlands. Ranked just 7th on the standings, the 2-time LGCT Grand Prix winner this season has the 2nd highest points per stage average – higher than van der Vleuten – he needs to get it spot on when coming to London, Rome and Riyadh if he has the ambition to become the first Frenchman since Michel Robert to win the title.

8) Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) – Two-time LGCT Champion, Edwian is aiming to match Ben Maher’s record that he set last year and become the second person to win 3 championships.

9) Pieter Devos (BEL) – Finishing second in the Championship is a feeling Devos knows too well. All roads this year lead to him finally getting that top spot.

10) Abdel Saïd (BEL) – Rounding off the top 10 is the Belgium rider Said. Over 100 points behind Maikel, everything will need to fall into place this weekend if he wants to be on the podium at the end of the year.

As the championship contenders gather in Riesenbeck, the excitement in the equestrian community reaches a crescendo. Spectators, sponsors, and enthusiasts alike eagerly await the unfolding of events as these riders embark on a journey to etch their names in the annals of show jumping history.

Join us at Riesenbeck Internationa l this week and witness the clash of the titans, as the Longines Global Champions Tour reaches new heights of equestrian excellence. It is an event not to be missed!

The GC Prague Playoffs - Explained

The GC Prague Playoffs - Explained

The Prague Playoffs

All roads on the 2023 Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL team series lead ultimately to the GC Prague Playoffs and the O2 Arena in the Czech capital this November, where the ultimate showdown for the individual and team riders will take place.

Going into battle for over €11.5 million in prize money, the final weekend of the season is set to provide a nail-biting closer to this year’s circuit.

Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix Ultimate Final Showdown

Take 15 world-beating riders, teamed up with some of the most talented horses on the planet, and pit them against each other for the ultimate high-stakes showdown in the magical city of Prague, Czech Republic, and what do you have? The Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix — one of the most prestigious and high-octane competitions in history.

In a revolutionary concept in show jumping, the winners of each LGCT Grand Prix on the circuit are invited to compete in the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix at the GC Prague Playoffs to decide who will come out on top of the world’s best athletes. And, with this year’s circuit taking riders all across the world— The Americas, Europe and The Middle East — and stopping off at iconic locations such as Riyadh, Paris, Rome, London, Mexico City, to name a few, this final decider will be a truly global experience, testing the best of the best at the highest level.

The 15 winners (or highest placed rider if the winner secures a second LGCT Grand Prix win) from the 2023 season will face two formidable 1.65m tracks, set to test those who have looked on phenomenal form throughout the year.

With some of the biggest names in the sport set once again to go into battle for some of the richest prize money in the sport, this dramatic showdown looks set to be a real feast of top notch sporting action.

GCL Super Cup Where teams meet for the final face-off

While the rivalry between teams reaches fever pitch this season, the GC Prague Playoffs will provide the perfect platform for the ultimate battle of the best, as teams fight for supremacy in the coveted GCL Super Cup.

All through the 2023 season, the 16 GCL teams will be fighting tooth and nail for every valuable ranking point, collected at each event on the global circuit. The GCL overall classification is based on each team’s points earned at every GCL event and the top four teams will fast-track their way to the semi-finals of the GCL Super Cup.

This final face-off will be in the minds of team managers as they choose from their roster of six riders throughout the season, playing their star strikers strategically across the very different events - from expansive grass fields of play such as Mexico City to the small sand arena nestled between Monaco’s superyachts, knowing your athletes and their horses will be crucial to a successful season-long campaign.

The GCL Super Cup will consist of team quarter-final, a semi-final and final rounds. The quarter-final, held over one 1.55m round, is open to 12 teams with three riders per team — those placed 5th to 16th on the GCL overall team standings prior to the GC Prague Playoffs. The best eight placed teams according to the aggregate time and penalties for each of the three riders then qualify for the semi-final the following day where they will be joined by the top four teams on the GCL overall team rankings and each of the three team riders will jump one round over 1.60m. The best six placed team competitions then go head-to-head in the final – held over two different 1.60m rounds against the clock without a jump-off.

With €10 million euros on offer for the GCL Super Cup alone, and the promise of passion, drama and glory - the race to the ultimate show down is on.

World Champions Cup set to debut Dec. 7-10 at The Concession Golf Club

Bringing major champions, Hall of Famers and legends of the game together for a first-of-its-kind international team golf competition

Change Text Size

Officially sanctioned by PGA TOUR Champions and airing on ABC and ESPN, the inaugural World Champions Cup will feature captains Ernie Els, Jim Furyk and Darren Clarke leading Team International, Team USA and Team Europe in a new annual event that will renew some of golf’s most storied rivalries

BRADENTON, Fla. – Golf’s global stage will soon add a new legacy event featuring many of the game’s most accomplished players, as sports media and marketing firm Intersport announced the location and dates for the debut of the World Champions Cup, a first-of-its-kind international team golf competition.

The inaugural World Champions Cup will be contested Dec. 7-10 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida.

Inspired by the passion and tradition of the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup, the World Champions Cup is officially sanctioned by PGA TOUR Champions and is set to air on ABC and ESPN. The World Champions Cup will feature Team International, Team USA and Team Europe squaring off over three days of competition that will renew some of the game’s most storied rivalries as the teams battle for international pride and global bragging rights.

World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els, 2003 U.S. Open champion Jim Furyk and 2011 Open Championship winner Darren Clarke will each serve as playing captains for their respective teams of six competitors, all aged 50 and older and members of the PGA TOUR Champions, in the first playing of the World Champions Cup. Seven-time PGA TOUR winner and popular golf commentator Peter Jacobsen will serve as Chairman of the inaugural event.

“The World Champions Cup is a tremendous addition to the game of golf and the PGA TOUR Champions schedule,” said Miller Brady, President of PGA TOUR Champions. “This competition will give fans a new and unique opportunity to see the game’s greatest stars compete against one another on a global stage. Ernie, Jim and Darren are worldwide ambassadors for golf, and it will be thrilling to watch them and their teammates compete for the chance to win the inaugural World Champions Cup.”

The World Champions Cup is an annual three-team, three-day match play competition that will be contested across nine-hole matches featuring team formats and singles play, with points being earned for each hole won in each of the event’s 24 matches. The team with the highest point total across all matches will be crowned the champion.

Each of the teams competing in the World Champions Cup will consist of six players, including the playing captains, and all will be active PGA TOUR Champions members. Automatic invitations for each team will be extended to the top two point-earners in the WCC’s career-based rankings, with two additional positions going to Chairman’s picks. The final spots for Team USA, Team Europe and Team International will be play-in positions based on the year-end Charles Schwab Cup standings.

“This is a thrilling day for golf fans around the world. The World Champions Cup will become the fourth global ‘Team Major’ on the worldwide golf calendar, joining the Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup and Solheim Cup as one of the game’s most prestigious legacy events,” said Charles N. Besser, Chairman and CEO of Intersport. “The Intersport team has worked tirelessly to create, refine and launch this competition, and we are excited for fans of the game to be able to experience it for years to come. The World Champions Cup embodies Intersport’s core of creating events that last decades and providing one-of-a-kind experiences for fans. We’re looking forward to bringing golf’s greatest rivalries to a global stage this December.”

The Concession Golf Club was named the Best New Private Course in America by Golf Digest in 2006. The seed of what would become The Concession Golf Club was planted in 1969, with Jack Nicklaus’ famous gesture of conceding the final putt in the Ryder Cup to Tony Jacklin, clinching the first tie in the competition’s history. Decades later, the two golf legends paired up to design and create The Concession Golf Club — a championship, privately-owned golf facility with no houses lining the course. The course has hosted the PGA TOUR’s 2021 World Golf Championships-Workday Championship at The Concession, the 2015 men’s and women’s NCAA Division I championships and the biennial Concession Cup.

“The Concession Golf Club is thrilled to host this legacy-defining, global team competition,” said Bruce Cassidy, President of The Concession Golf Club. “The entire Concession membership, staff and I look forward to welcoming the PGA TOUR Champions, Intersport and World Champion Cup teams and families and cementing this event as a staple in golf’s ecosystem for years to come.”

This event will add to the rich tradition of professional golf in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, which includes the PGA TOUR Champions' American Express Invitational (1996-2000) and the Korn Ferry Tour’s LECOM Suncoast Classic, being contested this week in Lakewood Ranch for the fifth consecutive year.

ABC and ESPN will serve as the exclusive television homes of the World Champions Cup. Coverage will air Thursday, Dec. 7, and Friday, Dec. 8, as well as Sunday, Dec. 10, with more details to be confirmed at a later date. The event will also feature a unique pro-am on Saturday, Dec. 9.

Els, a South African native, will captain Team International. The four-time major champion and former World No. 1 was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2011. Els touts an impressive resume that includes 19 PGA TOUR victories, three PGA TOUR Champions trophies and 47 international wins. The most significant of his wins are his two U.S. Open titles (1994 and 1997) and his two wins a full decade apart at The Open (2002, 2012). The Big Easy has been a member of eight Presidents Cup teams and captained the International squad in 2019.

“International team competitions are some of the fondest memories I have from my golfing career,” Els said. “I’ve had the pleasure of competing in golf’s biggest events around the world throughout my career and embrace my position as an ambassador in continuing to grow the game for fans everywhere. It’s a privilege to be named the captain of Team International for the inaugural World Champions Cup, and I look forward to competing along my teammates this December.”

Furyk will captain Team USA. During his career, Furyk has represented Team USA in seven Presidents Cups, nine Ryder Cups and served as a Ryder Cup captain in 2018. He is a 17-time winner on the PGA TOUR, highlighted by winning the 2003 U.S. Open, and is a three-time winner on PGA TOUR Champions – including the 2021 U.S. Senior Open. Furyk reached a career-high world ranking of second in 2006 and spent 440 weeks ranked in the top 10 from 1999 – 2016. Furyk is also the owner of the lowest round in PGA TOUR history, having shot 58 in the fourth round of the Travelers Championship in 2016.

“I am honored to lead Team USA onto the global stage that the World Champions Cup represents.” Furyk said. “It has been such a treat being part of Team USA at different stages throughout my career. I look forward to having the chance to captain Team USA and compete against Ernie and Darren, with whom I walked fairways for more than 20 years.”

Hailing from Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Clarke will captain Team Europe. He is most famous for his 2011 victory at The Open at Royal St. George’s, where he finished three strokes clear of the field. In 2022 Clarke became the fourth player in history to win both The Open Championship and The Senior Open Championship, defeating Pádraig Harrington by one shot at Gleneagles in Scotland. Clarke has played on five Ryder Cup teams and served as captain in 2016 for Team Europe. Clarke’s resume includes victories at two PGA TOUR World Golf Championships events and four PGA TOUR Champions events, as well as 15 international wins.

“I am overjoyed to represent Team Europe as captain for the inaugural playing of the World Champions Cup,” Clarke said. “I’ve been blessed to be a part of many team competitions all over the world and it is truly an honor to be selected as a captain along with Jim and Ernie, two of golf’s all-time great players. This is truly a first-of-its-kind global team competition and I cannot wait to compete this December.”

Jacobsen, the Chairman of the inaugural World Champions Cup, is a seven-time PGA TOUR winner, two-time PGA TOUR Champions winner and the 2004 U.S. Senior Open champion. A popular golf media personality for the past two decades, Jacobsen has established himself as one of the great ambassadors of golf.

“I have spent nearly all of my life playing, watching, talking and loving the game of golf,” Jacobsen said. “After nearly 40 years on the PGA TOUR, it is the honor of a lifetime to have the opportunity to represent something as significant as the World Champions Cup will one day be for golf.”

The first event under the new agreement was the 2023 CME Group Tour Championship last fall, and The Chevron Championship is the first of four LPGA Tour events on ESPN+ in 2024.

This latest deal continues a longstanding relationship between the LPGA Tour and ESPN.

  • In 2022, ESPN+ streamed the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G and the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G.
  • ESPN televised a schedule of regular LPGA Tour events from 1979-2009, and ABC covered the CME Group Tour Championship from 2015-2018.
  • ESPN aired the first two rounds of the AIG British Open from 1982-2002 and all four rounds from 2010-2015, as well as the first two rounds of the U.S. Women’s Open from 1982-2014.
  • The first golf ever televised on ESPN was the LPGA Sahara Open on Sept. 8, 1979, ESPN’s second day on air.

The remaining slate of LPGA Tour events on ESPN+ this season will be announced later this year.

2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans Full Field: The PGA Tour's Two-Man Team Game

Irishmen Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy team up for the first time at TPC Louisiana.

  • Author: John Schwarb

Much of the country is finally into the golf season, and for many players that means weekend pairs games. Pick a partner and take on another two-player team, either in a better-ball format or (if you want to see how much you really like your partner) alternate shot.

This week, the PGA Tour does the same thing.

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is a refreshing change from weekly Tour individual stroke play, with 80 teams of two playing the above two formats at TPC Louisiana. The first and third rounds are better ball and the second and fourth are alternate shot, with a cut after 36 holes.

Nick Hardy and Davis Riley walk off the 18th green after winning the 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Davis Riley (Titleist hat) and Nick Hardy won the 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Andrew Wevers-USA TODAY Sports

The format always makes for interesting teams, from longtime friends to countrymen to completely random pairings.

Rory McIlroy is making his first appearance at TPC Louisiana, teaming up with fellow Irishman and Ryder Cup teammate Shane Lowry. They’ll see some familiar faces including their Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald, playing with his European assistant captain Francesco Molinari, as well as English brothers Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick.

Brothers and Tour rookies Parker and Pierceson Coody are a team, while at the other end of the age spectrum are Matt Kuchar and PGA Tour Champions regular Steve Stricker. Billy Horschel, who has won the Zurich when it was an individual event as well as a team event, has a new partner in Tyson Alexander, a fellow University of Florida alum.

Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele, close friends and frequent partners on U.S. Cup teams, won the Zurich in 2022 and return. Defending champions Nick Hardy and Davis Riley are also back.

Winners earn FedEx Cup points and two-year Tour exemptions, but do not receive Masters invitations or world ranking points.

What is Miles Russell's Official World Golf Ranking? 15-year-old makes big leap in rankings after historic Korn Ferry Tour outing

M iles Russell has been on a meteoric rise, and it's pushed him well onto the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). Amateur golfers, which the 15-year-old is, do not usually get any points, as only a few tours and events worldwide provide the opportunity to earn them. Nevertheless, Russell's recent performance in a Korn Ferry tournament catapulted him into the ranks.

Prior to the event, he was naturally unranked. He hadn't really done anything that could give him points, so he wasn't on the leaderboard until Russell put in a tremendous outing at the LECOM Suncoast Classic. It pushed him all the way to rank 1738.

This is thanks to an outstanding performance in the tournament. Russell became the youngest golfer ever to make the cut at a Korn Ferry event, breaking Gipper Finau's record in 2006.

He then went on to play quite well, shooting 14 under for a T20 finish. That made Russell the youngest person ever (since tracking began in 1983) to finish in the top 25 of a Korn Ferry tournament.

That tremendous success has not only put him in the public eye, but it also forced his name onto and pretty high up the OWGR list. For someone who's never even played on the PGA Tour , being in the top 1800 is unexpected.

Miles Russell headed for PGA Tour appearance

Miles Russell's recent success attracted everyone's attention, including the PGA Tour. After shooting extremely well in a Korn Ferry event, he's slated to play the Butterfield Bermuda Championship later this year thanks to a sponsor exemption.

Before he does that, though, he will get another chance to play a Korn Ferry Tour event, the Veritex Bank Championship. If he does well, he'd see another jump in OWGR.

As for playing against the world's best professionals in the PGA Tour event, he said via Golf Monthly:

"I am honored to be receiving an exemption into the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship. I have dreamt of playing on the PGA Tour my entire life and to have that dream coming to fruition later this year is a feeling that I cannot describe. I am grateful to the tournament and the AJGA for their partnership that is allowing me this incredible opportunity."

Russell believes he can compete, and cited his last outing as proof:

"When I play well, I think I can compete with some of the better pros, but this week I played well and I think it kind of showed it a little bit. But good play is always good, and definitely confidence-boosting to finish where we're going to finish today."

The young golfer is the world's top ranked amateur, and he's already captured titles for the 2018 Junior Honda Classic, the US Kids World Championship in 2020 and 2021, and the 2023 Junior Players Championship.

He's still a few years away from being eligible to turn pro on the PGA Tour or another tour, but he's on pace to get there in rapid fashion. If he continues playing well at the pro level even now at 15 years old, Russell will cement his status as a player to watch in the future.

ISPS HANDA - CHAMPIONSHIP: Fantasy DP World Tour ones to watch

Feel closer to the action on the DP World Tour by competing against golf fans from around the world in our official Fantasy game as the Asian Swing resumes with the ISPS HANDA - CHAMPIONSHIP .

To play Fantasy DP World Tour, click here .

FDPWT-ISPS-Handa-16x9

Following an off week in the 2024 Race to Dubai schedule, the Asian Swing picks up in Japan as the DP World Tour visits Taiheiyo Club's Gotemba Course for the first time.

After its inaugural edition last year, the ISPS HANDA - CHAMPIONSHIP marks the penultimate event of the swing and there is plenty to play for ahead of next week's Volvo China Open.

  • READ MORE: Five Things to Know on the ISPS HANDA - CHAMPIONSHIP
  • READ MORE: Asian Swing - What is stake ahead of final two events?

Swede Jesper Svensson and Japan's home favourite Keita Nakajima, both winners so far in the Asian Swing, are teeing it up, while France's Matthieu Pavon is the highest ranked player in the field.

If you have not done so already, you can sign up to play the official 2024 DP World Tour Fantasy game and submit your six-man team before round one gets under way on Thursday: https://fantasy.dpworldtour.com/

The 2024 season-long winner will win a trip to the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai next year, enjoy a lesson with a DP World Tour professional and a round of golf on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates. For more information on this amazing prize and others, read here .

Fantasy Prize

Here, we give you a rundown on three players who we think are worth your consideration for selection in your Fantasy teams this week.

Favourite - Matthieu Pavon

With his form so far this year, in fact going further back towards the latter stages of last season, it's easy to understand why the Frenchman is the favourite among Fantasy users this week.

On his Masters debut earlier this month, he finished in a tie for 12th to earn a return visit to Augusta National Golf Club in 12 months time.

Prior to that, he finished solo fifth at the Porsche Singapore Classic - the first event on the Asian Swing - and he has missed just one cut in his rookie season on the PGA TOUR.

Having made history by becoming the first French winner on the PGA TOUR since 1907 in February, he will have his sights set on more silverware in Japan.

He finished in a tie for 35th at last year's edition, but his career trajectory has transformed since and confidence is unlikely to be in short supply having risen to a career high of 22nd in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Matthieu Pavon-2098474602

Form Horse - Jesper Svensson

The Swede is another player who is riding high following his maiden DP World Tour triumph at the Porsche Singapore Classic last month.

The victory in the Far East followed several eye-catching results since his graduation from the European Challenge Tour at the end of last season - including a runner-up finish in Bahrain.

With the top three finishers on the Asian Swing not already exempt for the U.S. PGA Championship qualifying for next month's U.S. PGA Championship, a Major debut is firmly on the cards if he can sustain his momentum over the next two events in Japan and China.

Svensson is just one spot behind swing leader Keita Nakajima and can guarantee a spot in the field at the Genesis Scottish Open - the second Rolex Series event of the year - and the 'Back 9' events if he tops the Asian Swing following next week's Volvo China Open.

While this will be a first experience of playing in Japan, the 28-year-old is certainly proving to be a player whose game stands up to the varying course set-ups on the DP World Tour.

Jesper Svensson

Wild Card - Ryo Ishikawa

It seems remarkable to think it has been more than 15 years since Ishikawa first emerged to recognition by becoming the youngest winner on the Japan Golf Tour in 2007.

Since then he has gone on to rack up a further eight titles, three of which have come at Taikeiyo Club, including most recently in 2022 when he won the Taiheiyo Masters in a play-off against DP World Tour winner Rikuya Hoshino.

He has won both before and after the course underwent renovation in 2018 and, with this being a new venue on the DP World Tour, his experience at this week's venue is likely to prove invaluable.

Ishikawa, who finished in a tie for 31st last year in this event, went on to record a top five in his homeland at the ZOZO Championship on the PGA TOUR towards the end of last year.

While he has played just once so far this year, finishing outside the top 40, his class is undoubted and the two-time Presidents Cup player would be a popular winner for Japanese fans.

Ryo Ishikawa-1773001767

Fantasy Insight: As it stands, Matthieu Pavon is the favourite among players of our Fantasy Game this week , featuring in 65% of teams. Other popular players include Keita Nakajima (59%) and Christiaan Bezuidenhout (51%).

Jesper Svensson, who won his first DP World Tour title earlier in the Asian Swing in Singapore, is the fourth most picked player from those in the field, featuring in 42% of Fantasy teams.

FDPWT Favourite, Form Horse, Wild Card (2) (1)

Looking back - Masters Tournament

At the first men's Major Championship of the season, Scottie Scheffler lived up to his billing as pre-tournament favourite to claim a second Green Jacket in three years at Augusta National.

The World Number One was the lead pick among Fantasy users, featuring in 64% teams and captained by 50%.

Ludvig Åberg, who was making his Major debut, was the best performing of the four DP World Tour members making their first Masters start as the Swede - our Form Horse - delivered 170 Fantasy points for the 26% of users who selected him.

Fellow 2023 Ryder Cup winner Tommy Fleetwood was another to make it into the six-strong team of the week as he secured his first top five finish at Augusta to please those who had him in their roster of players.

Readers of this column will know we picked Justin Rose as our Wild Card, with the two-time Masters runner-up missing the cut as he registered 30 Fantasy points.

While the Masters and the upcoming U.S. PGA Championship feature within the Asian Swing schedule, points accrued in the Majors this season do not count on the swing rankings, only doing so on the season-long Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex.
