Winston crooke - owner/operator.

Winston was born in Birmingham, England but his parents were from St Kitts (father) and Nevis, he came to Nevis and opened a windsurfing school with bikes as a small sideline. Over the years however biking became the driving force behind his life and sporting achievements, that began with him earning a podium place in downhill mountain bike racing in Tortola 1997, to completing a full ironman in 2015 in Mexico. 

Windsurfing Nevis transformed into Bike Nevis when he opened his first bike shop with the motto 'Welcome to the Wheel World Cycle Shop' which also hints at his sense of humor.

Welcome to the Jungle Bikes Tours.

Explore the breath-taking views of our countryside St. Kitts while operating your very own ATV. It starts with a pick up from either the port or your hotel of choice at either (8:30, 11:30 or 2:30), we then take approximately 15 - 20 minutes to reach the ATV base where you will be greeted by our knowledgeable and experienced guides. Disclaimer forms will then be distributed which outlines the rules and regulations which we abide by. The tour guides will then demonstrate how to operate the ATV. Gears will then be issued and then off we go into the Jungle and sugar cane life making stops which will give you picturesque views of Mount Liamigua, Brimstone Hill Fortress and Old Sugar Estate. After reaching back to the ATV base you will be given refreshments and be transported back to your destination.

Dune Buggy & Beach

Explore the breath-taking views of our countryside St. Kitts while operating your very own Dune Buggy. It starts with a pick up from either the port or your hotel of choice at either (8:30, 11:30 or 2:30), we then take approximately 15 - 20 minutes to reach the ATV base where you will be greeted by our knowledgeable and experienced guides. Disclaimer forms will then be distributed which outlines the rules and regulations which we abide by. the tour guides will then demonstrate how to operate the Dune Buggy. Gears will then be issued and then off we go into the Jungle and sugar cane life making stops which will give you picturesque views of Mount Liamigua, Brimstone Hill Fortress and Old Sugar Estate. After reaching back to the ATV base hot, tired and extremely dusty, your driver will be there to escort you to South Friars Bay and will return for you at the pre-arranged time to take you back to the hotel or cruise ship of your choice.

ATV & Beach

This tour combines the ride of your life with the beach extravaganza.  After an intensive and exciting journey through the hills of the island, you now get the chance to cool down on the beach.  This tour combination creates long-lasting memories for just US$135.00

If you want to have a relaxing day out at a beautiful natural beach then this Island Beach Tour is for you.  The white sand beach is all that you need to just relax. You can smell the fresh air of the ocean and touch the cool sand.

Island Tour & Beach

Get a comprehensive overview of St Kitts during this island sightseeing tour with a local guide. Over the course of 5 hours, see British and French colonial architecture, the historic former slave market and the Cenotaph, a memorial to the soldiers who served in both World Wars. Walk on trails through the lush island rainforest while learning about the local flora and fauna. Visit the Caribelle Batik facility to see the ancient handicraft practiced, then relax on South Friar's or Cockleshell beach.

Rainforest and Beach

Immerse yourself in a nature filled walk on beautiful island of St Kitts. This is a  3-hour eco-adventure with your local guide upon the way you will visit Romney Manor to stroll through the tropical gardens, then continue to the Central Forest Reserve Natural Park for a forest trek (1 to 2.5 miles/1.6 to 4 km). Learn about the flora and fauna of the Kittian wilderness and keep your camera handy for shots of monkeys, birds and flowers.  Afterwards, return to base to cool off with a trip to South Friars Bay.

Volcanic Hike

This is a great pick for nature lovers. Visit the volcanic peak of Mount Liamuiga with a guide to lead the way and show you a safe route to the top. Along the way, admire panoramic views that you wouldn't see otherwise, such as the neighboring islands of Saba, St. Barts, and Nevis. The route reveals beautiful rainforest terrain, and for extra convenience, roundtrip transfers are included.

Experience St. Kitts and Nevis on Guided Electric Bike Guided Eco-tours

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 19, 2019 — A new Pedego® Electric Bikes store is now open on the island of St. Kitts, offering electric bike tours of the Caribbean islands of St. Kitts and Nevis. Owned by Barry Breakwell, Pedego St. Kitts is located at the five-star Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour in Banana Bay, South East Peninsula, Parish of St. George, in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“Guided electric bike tours are a great way to experience the natural environment of St. Kitts and Nevis, giving riders a unique and fun way to immerse themselves in the beauty and history of the islands,” said Barry Breakwell, owner of Pedego St. Kitts. “Pedego electric bikes are equipped with pedal assistance that take much of the effort out of the tour while providing a thrilling ride.”

Group tours include:

Park Hyatt Peninsula Ride Tour — $70 per person for registered Park Hyatt Hotel guests

Departing from the Park Hyatt Hotel, riders enjoy an easygoing ride on the trails and roads of the beautiful Southeast Peninsula of St. Kitts. Stops include beaches, Christophe Harbour Marina shops and Salt Plage Bar and Grill. Riders often see wild Green Vervet monkeys on the trails and roadside during the tour. Ride duration is approximately 2 hours with stops.

St. Kitts Bike and Hike Tour — $85 per person

An exhilarating and active guided electric bike tour through the hills and villages above Basseterre on electric mountain bikes, riders enjoy some off-road mountain trails and the village of St. Peters on the way up to the historic Milliken Estate. A short hike to the Sofa Stone atop Monkey Hill delivers spectacular views of Basseterre, the airport, cruise port and the Southeast Peninsula with Nevis Peak in the background. Hike back down to Milliken Estate for a short stop and snack followed by an exciting downhill bike ride. Riders will see local livestock and often Green Vervet monkeys during the day’s excursion. Ride duration is approximately 3 hours with stops.

St. Kitts Bike and Beach Tour — $85 per person

Cruise St. Kitts’ Southeast Peninsula trails and roads on a guided electric bike tour and enjoy some beach time at the end of the ride. The tour begins at the Pedego St. Kitts Tour Shop at Banana Bay and includes a ride along Cockleshell Bay over to the Atlantic coastline at Turtle Beach. The journey continues along the island’s scenic roads with a short stop at secluded Major’s Bay, then on to the Marina Village Shops at Christophe Harbour. A stop at a lookout provides spectacular views of the town of Basseterre, followed by a nice long ride back to the shop. Riders often see wild Green Vervet monkeys on the trails and roadside during the tour. Return transportation can be delayed if visitors wish to have lunch at Spice Mill Restaurant or enjoy some beach time on Cockleshell Beach. Ride duration is approximately 3 hours with stops and return transportation.

Custom and personal tours are also available, including bike tours of Nevis.
