You may want to check the Wembley Stadium’s official website before you plan your visit, as there are numerous closures of the stadium which take place throughout the year.

You can purchase your tour tickets at the door, however it is highly recommended that you reserve a time slot online beforehand, as tours are subject to availability.

Be prepared to walk up and down lots of steps, so try and wear comfortable walking shoes for your visit. If you happen to be visiting in July, please note that the grass pitch may be covered to prepare the field for the start of the next season.

If you're travelling by car , Wembley Park has over 3000 secure car parking spaces - rules differ, however, on days when events are taking place.

You can also get to Wembley by bus . Local buses toward the stadium include the 18, 83, 92 and 224. Please be advised, for those of you who are unaware, that you cannot pay your bus fare with cash. Instead you will need to use a UK issued contactless credit or debit card or, if you're staying a few days in London, you may want to look into the possibility of acquiring a Visitor Oyster Card .

Wembley Stadium Tour Review: Go Behind the Scenes

Wembley Stadium may be the most famous stadium in the world.  Pelé once said: “Wembley is the cathedral of football”.  

As a sports fan, I had been to Wembley before. I went to see my favorite Dallas Cowboys play in London back in 2014.  I remember it clearly – the Cowboys won and we had a great time! Being an American, I didn’t know much about the stadium’s history.  

I thought taking a Wembley Stadium tour would be a good way to learn and go behind the scenes.  Let me tell you more about our experience so that you can decide if a tour of Wembley Stadium in London appeals to you.

Wembley Stadium History Overview

The original Wembley Stadium was built for the British Empire Exhibition in 1924 and was intended to be a temporary structure.  Over the years, they continued to develop the stadium, but by the end of the 20th century, it just wasn’t capable of meeting the demands asked of it anymore.  

The stadium was too small, old, tired, and the facilities were inadequate. It had reached the end of its usable life. Demolition started in 2002. The towers came down in 2003, which was a poignant moment for football fans across the world.   The current Wembley Stadium was finished in 2007.

Wembley played host to the Olympics, World Cup, several European football (soccer) championships, the annual FA (Football Association) Championship game, countless concerts, and even the Pope – just to name a few.  Additionally, it was (and still is) known as the home of football .

Wembley was the first place to be called “hallowed turf.” Go to enough pub quizzes in England and sooner or later the question will come up – who scored the last goal at the old Wembley? (Keep reading for the answer!)

They did try to incorporate some of the structure of the old stadium into the new Wembley Stadium.  It was not possible to move the two famous towers so instead, they used the material from the towers in the foundation.  You can also see the plaques with the winners from the 1948 Olympics preserved outside the Wembley Stadium Store.

In 2019, Wembley was also the home to Tottenham, who plays in the English Premier League, while their stadium was under construction.

The first part of your tour of Wembley Stadium is self-guided.  You are given your video/audio guide and headphones after you pass through security.  The guide was easy to use and you can repeat sections if you like or even skip any that don’t grab your attention.  During this section of the tour, you learn more about the history of the stadium.

It was fascinating to see the models of the old and new stadium.  The turnstile on displayed looked like a piece of art.  It was fascinating to think about how many people had passed through.  The videos during this part of the tour help you feel more engaged. I especially liked the 360 virtual reality ones.  The video about the arch was a bit unsettling especially if you are scared of heights.

I didn’t know much about the old stadium, so it was interesting to learn about some of the historic events that took place here.  The most talked about one is probably the 1966 World Cup Final between England and West Germany. It was decided by a controversial goal by England in extra time.  Not only can you see a video of the goal, but you can see the actual crossbar from that game and marking on the floor where the ball landed in relation to the crossbar and the goal line, calculated using modern technology.

There were also exhibits on some of the other sporting events that have taken place at Wembley like NFL games.  For those who are not into sports, the tour also included information about some of the big concerts, the Pope’s visit, and even Evil Knievel’s stunt.

Wembley Guided Tour

After we had finished seeing the exhibits, it was time to join our guide to go behind the scenes at the stadium.  First, we went outside onto the middle tier and sat in the seats. He threw out so many fascinating facts about the stadium.  

The one that probably surprised me the most was that the designers of Wembley Stadium tilted the glass of all the suites five degrees to help with the acoustics.  We all stood up and yelled to test it out.

Then, we had a few minutes for photos. Our guide took a few excellent ones of us. He definitely knew what he was doing!

Next, we headed down to the pitch (field) level which is actually below ground.  After walking down a hallway with lots of memorabilia, we entered the area where the players arrive at the stadium.  Then we went into the media room where press conferences happen after games. I appreciated that we had time to go take individual pictures sitting behind the table.

After everyone had their chance to take a photo, we headed to the dressing rooms.  The first room we entered had displays for some of England’s heroes and even a few NFL players who had played at Wembley.  

Next door, we found the England dressing room where each member of the national team had a spot. Their jerseys were laid out in numerical number.  Some jerseys were autographed. I wondered why Harry Kane hadn’t autographed his until our guide explained he had autographed the front of the shirt.  I was surprised that there weren’t any lockers but these areas are called dressing rooms and not locker rooms.

Then, we got to see the shower block.  In addition to the shower, this area also includes some therapy beds, ice baths, toilets, and sinks.  I was a bit surprised to also find hair dryers! We had time to take photos in the dressing room and shower area then it was time to go to the tunnel.

The tunnel is where the players line up to walk out on the pitch (what we call field).  Our tour guide had us line up so we could pretend to be players. He started playing a video and then opened the doors.  As we walked out onto the field, we could hear the roar of the crowd.

Since the pitch is natural grass, there is only a small area that you are allowed to walk on (where the managers can stand).  We did also get to sit in Gareth Southgate, the England manager’s, seat. Again, we had time to take as many pictures as we wanted.

Then it was time to head back up.  We took the same route that the players who won the FA Cup would take to claim the trophy.  

It’s a little more than 100 steps through the stands to the Royal Box. When we got to the Royal Box, we had the opportunity to take a photo with the replica of the FA Cup.  This time though they have a professional photographer to capture the moment and they do not let you take any pictures. You get the opportunity to purchase the photo after the tour.  

It is rare that I ever buy these type of photos, but we did this time. The photo turned out to be amazing and it was only £10. I wish Russell would have worn his Liverpool scarf though!

After we left the Royal Box, we went into the Royal Restaurant.  Prince William is the head of The FA, so when he is in attendance, this is where he and his guests dine.  Our tour guide said it would normally be a five-course meal.  It’s the Royal Family so I wouldn’t expect anything less!

Our last stop on the tour was the Three Lions sculptures.  The Three Lions are the symbol of the national team. Each one was impressive in its own right and made out of a different material – paper, steel, and plastic.  The plastic one was my favorite, it was actually made from cups from drinks consumed at the stadium.

I have to admit I am not a big soccer fan, although I have come to appreciate the sport more now that I live in England.  Still, I found the tour interesting and informative. The stadium is an impressive piece of engineering and the history is remarkable.  I loved being able to go behind the scenes and see the dressing room, media room, pitch, and more.

The virtual reality videos helped to bring the stadium to life.  There were no virtual reality glasses like I had on the virtual reality tour in NYC (that would not have looked good in the pictures anyway) but some of the videos were 360 images so that the perspective changed as you moved the guide around.  The guide was easy to use. Plus, I liked that you could choose to listen to more in-depth information or skip depending on your interests.

We had a large group for the guided tour of about 30 people.  Our tour guide did a great job keeping everyone together and engaged.  I never had any issues hearing the commentary and I was able to ask questions.  Additionally, everyone had plenty of opportunities for photos.

If you would like a more intimate experience, you might want to try the Wembley VIP tour.  Groups are usually 5 people or less and you get a dedicated guide from start to finish. When you visit Wembley for your tour, there are a few things you should keep in mind:

• Dress for the weather.  The roof of the stadium was open when we were there, so some parts of the tour were basically outside.
• Don’t bring any large bags.  They do not have any place to store them and you will have to carry them with you as you tour Wembley Stadium.  
• There is a security check when you enter the stadium.  They did not have any issues with our snacks or water bottles.
• The guided portion of the tour runs every 30 minutes throughout the day.  You join once you have completed the self-guided part.
• You can take pictures throughout the tour except for pictures of the FA cup in the Royal Box.  They have a professional photographer to take your picture there.
• There are stairs on the tour.  Our tour guide asked us if anyone had problems with stairs because there is an elevator.  
• The tour is well-suited for children especially those that like soccer.  They will also enjoy the virtual reality features.
• The whole experience took us about 2 hours.  This can vary depending on how long you spend on the self-guided portion of the tour.

You can get Wembley Stadium Tour tickets two ways – as part of a tourist pass or individually.

The Wembley Stadium Tour tickets are included as part of the London Pass and the London Explorer Pass.  If you plan on doing a lot of sightseeing, the London Pass gives you access to 80+ of the top attractions.   Get more information on the London Pass here. If you are not going to get one of the passes, you can book your tickets online in advance here .  For the regular tour, you choose a timeslot and can arrive any time during that period and start with the self-guided exhibitions.  The VIP tour has a set start time. You will get an email confirmation when you book and all you need is the confirmation code to check in for the tour.

It’s best to take public transportation to Wembley Stadium.  We took the Metropolitan line to Wembley Park. (The Jubilee line also goes to the Wembley Park Station).  You see the stadium as you approach the stop and then it’s a short 10-minute walk to get there. It’s a straight line so you don’t have to worry about getting lost.

You can also take the Bakerloo line or the London Overground to Wembley Central but it’s a 20-minutes walk from there to the Stadium.

To take the tour, enter through the Bobby Moore entrance on the north side of the stadium.  You need to walk up the ramp. You will see the stadium store. Then take the stairs up to the next level and enter right behind the Bobby Moore statue.

Note: Do not confuse Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena – they are different.  Wembley Arena is a smaller indoor venue also located in Wembley Park. It is the 2nd largest indoor venue in London.  Only The O2 is larger.

How can I get to Wembley Stadium by tube?

Getting to Wembley Stadium by tube is easy. There are two London Underground stations nearby. The closest tube station to Wembley Stadium is Wembley Park, which offers connections to central London via the Metropolitan or Jubilee line. It typically takes around 12 minutes to get to Baker Street and 20-25 minutes to King’s Cross. Wembley Central Station is a short 15-minute walk from the stadium and is accessible via the Bakerloo or London Overground lines. However, the exact duration of the journey can vary depending on factors such as the time of day, and any delays or disruptions on the tube lines. We recommend using the Metropolitan line from Wembley Park as it has the fewest stops, although you need to be prepared for possible queues on Olympic Way to get into the station. It is always a good idea to check the Wembley Stadium Sofa-to-Sea t tool or use the TfL Journey Planner to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on travel times and any disruptions on the tube network. If you want to know what zone is Wembley, Wembley Park London Underground station is located in Zone 4 of the Transport for London network. This means that if you're planning to use public transport to travel to Wembley Park, you'll need to purchase a travel card or Oyster card that covers Zone 4. How can I travel to Wembley Stadium by rail?

Getting by train to Wembley Stadium is easy, with plenty of convenient rail options to choose from. The nearest station is Wembley Stadium, served by Chiltern Railways. Trains from there to London Marylebone (Zone 1) take just 9 minutes, or 14 minutes to Watford Junction. On event days, trains to Wembley run more frequently, with some running every few minutes, depending on the number of attendees expected at the stadium. We recommend you check with the train operator or visit the National Rail Journey Planner for up-to-date information on event day schedules and frequency. You can also take a train to Wembley Central Station, a 15-minute walk from the Stadium and served by London Overground, London Midland and Southern Rail.

Can I take the coach to Wembley Stadium?

Absolutely - taking the coach to Wembley is easy and convenient. The National Express to Wembley Stadium service, called Wembley Express , is the official provider of coaches to Wembley with direct pick-up from over 50 UK locations. The Wembley Express coaches will drop you off at designated parking areas in Wembley Park (usually Pink Parking) and pick you up after the event, even if it runs late. Book your travel on the National Express coaches website or call 08717 81 81 81.

What about buses to Wembley Stadium or cycling to my event?

Wembley Stadium has multiple local bus options, such as the 223, 297, 83/N83, 206, 92, 483, 18/N18, and 182 buses to Wembley. Use the TfL bus planner to plan your route and pay contactless or by purchasing an Oyster card, Visitor Oyster card or Travelcard . Buses can be affected by traffic, so allow for extra time if you plan to get to Wembley by bus. Bicycles are welcomed at Wembley Stadium, with parking available at street level on the northeast side of the Stadium. Can you drive to Wembley Stadium?

You sure can. To drive to Wembley Stadium for an event, book your car park through the Wembley Official Parking website and follow signs from A406 North Circular Road to your allocated car park.You can also visit the super helpful Wembley Stadium Sofa to Seat tool. We are often asked: Is Wembley inside the congestion zone? While Wembley Stadium is not within the congestion zone, driving through central London to get to Wembley Park may lead to extra charges, so check your route beforehand. We recommend you visit the Transport for London website to check whether your route is within the congestion charge zone, allowing you to plan your drive to Wembley accordingly. On event days, there may be road closures, so use the instructions on your parking confirmation and event signage, not your Sat Nav. Is there parking near Wembley Stadium?

For event-goers looking for parking near Wembley Stadium, we always recommended using the Wembley Official Parking website to guarantee your space and save money. Wembley Stadium event parking tends to get sold out fairly quickly so remember to book early to avoid disappointment. The following parking options are typically available at these locations in Wembley Park: Red Multi Storey Parking (also known as 'Red Parking'), Pink Coach and Car Parking ('Pink Parking'), Green Coach and Car Parking ('Green Parking'), and Blue Car Park (Blue Parking) for blue-badge holders. Capacities at Green Parking, Pink Parking, Red Parking Wembley

The multi-storey Red Parking in Wembley is located to the west of the stadium, next to the A406 North Circular Road. On event days, it can hold about 387 cars, with 48 DDA-compliant parking bays. Other nearby options include the Green Parking, a surface-level car park with up to 588 pre-bookable spaces, and the Blue Parking, a multi-storey with 202 DDA-compliant parking bays connected to the stadium concourse via a step-free bridge link. The Pink Parking is a multi-storey within a short walk to the east of the stadium on Lakeside Way, with capacity for 1,675 spaces. A disclaimer here: you should be aware that the availability of parking spaces and their layout may be subject to change due to specific events that require different arrangements.

How can I book parking on an event day at Wembley Stadium?

The Wembley Official Parking website lets you reserve parking spaces for both event and non-event days. Access the Official Parking Site through the event page for the event you're attending at Wembley Stadium for additional details on coaches and event-specific parking information, including accessibility guidance and DDA parking.

After booking your preferred car park and confirming your car details, you'll receive a map and postcode of your exact parking location. Note that for some events, parking may be allocated based on the specific event details. To guarantee availability on event days, it's recommended to book your parking spot in advance as spaces can fill up quickly. If you have questions, check the FAQ page .

The flat rate parking fee for the day is £40, and you can pre-book a spot for your car starting from March 1st, 2023, with an additional booking fee of £2.50 for cars and Blue Badge parking, £1 for motorbikes, £3.50 for minibuses, and £5 for coaches. We recommend you arrive early to avoid the crowds. Another disclaimer: you should note that prices are subject to change based on factors such as availability, seasonal offers, and promotions.

Bag Policy, Prohibited Items, Cashless Payments, and More

Before you head to your event at Wembley Stadium, it's important to be aware of the stadium's bag policy to ensure your visit is stress-free.. For security reasons, only bags that are smaller than an A4 piece of paper (H 297mm, W 210mm, and D 210mm) are allowed inside the stadium. Be sure to double-check the size of your bag before leaving home to ensure that it meets the requirements.

Items you buy on an event day will come in a clear plastic bag, which is permitted inside the stadium. If you purchase merchandise from one of the retail outlets inside the stadium or at the stadium store outside the stadium, the bag will be sealed. Several items are also strictly prohibited at the stadium, including large umbrellas, selfie sticks, pushchairs, food and drink, large-bodied cameras, alcohol, aluminium and glass drink containers, plastic bottles over 500ml, weapons and tools, and more. You should also note that Wembley Stadium is now a cashless venue. This means that you will need to bring a debit or credit card with you if you plan to make any purchases during your visit. None of the kiosks at Wembley Stadium will accept cash, so plan accordingly.

Remember to bring your ticket, whether it's physical or electronic, and bring an ID as proof of ownership. If you have an e-ticket on your phone, consider bringing a power bank to ensure you can access it all day.

Where is the best place to sit at Wembley Stadium?

Does Wembley Stadium have a roof?

One of the questions we’re asked the most is: does Wembley have a roof,, the answer is yes! The sliding cover sits 52 metres above the pitch, providing cover for every seat in the stadium, though Level 1 guests may get wet if rain falls at an angle. However, if you're attending a concert and have a standing ticket on the pitch, be aware that you won't be under the roof and will be exposed to the elements. What is the capacity at Wembley Stadium?

If you're curious about how many people does Wembley Stadium hold, you'll be interested to know that the official Wembley capacity is 90,000 visitors (that's a lot of people!). So, how many seats in Wembley Stadium? Well, that's the answer! Although many believe that Wembley is the largest stadium globally, that's not quite the case. While it's true that Wembley Stadium is the biggest stadium in the UK and the second-largest in Europe in terms of capacity (with Camp Nou in Barcelona holding over 99,000), the world's largest stadium is the Rungrado 1st of May Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea. This colossal stadium can hold 114,000 people, with some reports suggesting that it can even reach 150,000 spectators for certain events.

What time should I arrive before an event at Wembley Stadium?

To avoid crowds and ensure a smooth entry to Wembley Stadium, arrive at Wembley Park as early as possible before the event. Check the schedule for your show's opening times and plan to arrive at least 60-90 minutes before the start time. If you have general admission seats, arrive early to get a spot near the stage. For reserved seats, aim to be seated before the show starts. Arriving early also allows you to catch the opening acts, and you will find there are several things to do in Wembley, such as exploring the Wembley Park Art Trail ), grabbing a pre-show drink at BOXPARK Wembley or indulging in some shopping at London Designer Outlet. Wait 10-15 minutes in your seat after the event to let the crowds disperse, and consider having dinner at one of the many restaurants in Wembley Park, such as Masalchi or Estadio Lounge (booking may be required).

Accessibility in and around Wembley Stadium

Wembley Stadium and Wembley Park offer step-free access throughout the entire neighbourhood, including public transport, parking, retailers, and the stadium itself. The Stadium provides 310 spaces for wheelchair users, with an accompanying seat for a personal assistant or companion. These spaces are available on every level of the stadium. It also offers dedicated seating for guests with access requirements who don’t need a wheelchair, such as guests with visual impairment or other non-visible disabilities. The Stadium also features dedicated lifts to all levels, trained staff and stewards, accessible toilets and changing places units, induction loop facilities, assistance dogs, and audio descriptive commentary. Two sensory and inclusion rooms accommodating up to 12 guests each, including 2 wheelchair users per room, are available on Level 4.. 'A Great Chaos' is hitting the road

Ken Carson has announced new UK, US and European dates for his upcoming ‘Chaos’ world tour.

Last October, the hyperrap star released his long-awaited third studio album ‘A Great Chaos’, featuring guest appearances from frequent collaborators Lil Uzi Vert and Destroy Lonely. The album peaked at Number 11 on the Billboard 200 – making it his first US Top 20 album.

Now, the Atlanta rapper has announced that he will embark on a 42-stop world tour kicking off this summer. The ‘Chaos’ tour will begin in Orlando, Florida this July before roaming around North America, stopping in Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Boston, New York City and Toronto.

Then, the Opium signee will do three dates in the UK, hitting Manchester, Birmingham and London, before finishing in Europe this autumn.

Hayley Williams Is Excited for Paramore's Upcoming European Tour With Taylor Swift: 'So Ready'

Paramore will be opening for Taylor Swift on her European tour set to begin next month. The pop punk band's vocalist Hayley Williams shared some kind words about her longtime friend ahead of the trek.

Williams loves Swift's new album Tortured Poets Department , which dropped on Friday, April 19. She listed it as one of her favorites in a social media post for Record Store Day 2024 .

Paramore served as ambassadors for this year's event after they departed from their longtime label Atlantic Records after two decades. The band is now independent.

"Had me from the storytelling alone, my friend," Williams said in an Instagram story.

"Every one of us knows this kind of grief! It’s so impressive to me how specific and colorful Taylor’s words get without ever losing the universal thread. I’m so ready to be tour-mates."

Williams and Swift have been friends for 16 years at this point.

"Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???" the pop star said in a tweet last summer.

The pair met at the 2008 Grammys when both were nominated for the Best New Artist award. They were introduced by Swift's mother Andrea.

"We were at some Grammy party — it was actually Timbaland's Grammy party," Williams said during an interview for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon .

"I was very nervous, but a woman came up to me and she said, 'I'm Taylor Swift's mom and, you know, Taylor doesn't have a lot of friends her age that do music . And I would love to, like, you know, introduce you guys or get your number.’ Andrea, the legend that she is. She connected us."

The pair also shares a love for 2000s pop punk. Swift mentioned the Pennsylvania group the Starting Line on her new track "The Black Dog."

Prince had been at a crossroads before, but never like he was at the beginning of 2004.

On February 8, he opened the 2004 Grammy Awards with a five-minute medley of “Purple Rain,” “Baby I’m a Star” and “Let’s Go Crazy” — with Beyonce — that may be the greatest opening to a music-awards show in television history. Two weeks later, he announced his first major tour in six years, noting that he’d be playing his hits again. “It’s older music, but it’s going to be played in a newer way,” he said, teasing that it might be the last time he played those songs in concert (it wasn’t). Then in March, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where he played a different, much longer medley of his hits during the ceremony — but of course what everyone remembers is his show-stealing solo during the all-star George Harrison tribute, which he finished by throwing his guitar into the audience.

Musically, “Musicology” was a return to accessibility. And although it didn’t reach the peaks of his classic ‘80s material — to be fair, not much music does — it was a vivid sampler of his musical styles that marked the return of the Prince that people knew and loved. It also was a genuine hit: The ticket-CD bundle helped loft the album to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, but it was top 5 in multiple countries all over the world without that boost, even though it didn’t have a big hit single. Recorded over several years, “Musicology”’s musical baseline is the brand of lean funk Prince was raised on — he even shouts out Earth, Wind & Fire, James Brown and others in the album’s lead-off title track, which concludes with brief, scratchy recordings of some of his own hits in a mock scanning-the-radio-dial segment. There are a couple of “Do Me, Baby”-styled bedroom ballads, bombastic rock (“A Million Days”), even the new wave pop he hadn’t done since “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man” on “Cinnamon Girl,” complete with splashes of vintage synthesizers. It winds down with a sultry, slow-burning burst of Aretha on the soulfully bluesy “On the Couch” and concludes with the breezy “Reflection.”

Even though Prince’s musicianship was at a new peak — his blazing guitar work, multi-tracked harmonies, production and arranging show an artist at the top of his craft — he was making music that was easy to like again, which isn’t to say it was simple; but even at its most sophisticated and complex (like the jazzy interlude at the end of “If I Was the Man in Ur Life”), it went down more smoothly. Indeed, the only area where “Musicology” fell flat is in the lyrics, which, like much of Prince’s later material, could be shockingly insipid. In particular, the album’s catchiest track, “Life of the Party,” is marred by lyrics so tossed-off that it sounds like they were written off the top of his head. (“So you’re havin’ a party?/ Goody for you/ All the beautiful people gonna be there/ Yeah, that’s cool.”) Even when he tried gravitas — about politics, war, global warming and moral decay on “Dear Mr. Man” — it wasn’t much better.

Prince was not an artist who’d ever lacked confidence, but by the end of 2004, the full swagger was back in his step. He’d significantly increased his wealth: The tour grossed nearly $90 million, the album was certified double platinum in the U.S. early in 2005, and it spurred sales of his entire catalog in an era when most people still bought CDs. But more importantly, it also marked the return of the Prince people knew, one who wasn’t completely refusing to be who he’d been, and not just musically: The weird outfits and otherworldly hairstyles had been replaced by sleek, classy suits and a short, trim cut.

The year’s creative efforts also gave him a model for how to pursue the rest of his career. Any time he wanted another million (or ten), he’d hit the road in some new and unusual way. Over the following years he played everything from a months-long Las Vegas residency to a premium-price one at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood; from a series of 21 dates at London’s Wembley Arena to a handful of shows in specific regions of the U.S. — even the Carolinas. He played brief “Hit and Run” tours that were announced just days before they launched; and of course he staged what is universally considered to be the greatest Super Bowl Halftime performance of all time in 2007. By contrast, his last tour, shortly before his death in 2016, was just him accompanying himself on piano. He kept finding new ways to keep himself interested.

And although he wouldn’t again reach the upper echelons of the charts in his lifetime and his albums continued to be frustratingly hit-or-miss, his sense of innovation returned with “3121,” the album that followed “Musicology” — on it, fans of “Sign O’ the Times,” which many regard as the peak of his creativity, could find much to grab onto, at least for the first half of the album. Unfortunately, most of the other albums he released in these years were maddeningly inconsistent (and sometimes appallingly bad) but although you won’t find any hidden “Purple Rain”s, there are overlooked gems to be found on many of them — like “Lavaux” and “Laydown” from “20Ten” (the latter of which features the priceless line, “from the heart of Minnesota/ Here come the purple Yoda”), and “Better With Time” and especially “ Ol’ Skool Company ” from “MPLSoUND.” Every once in a while on those albums and others, the Prince you love pops up with something so great it’s as if he’d never gone anywhere. And that’s really the gift of his scattershot, impossibly vast musical output — even though he’s no longer here, there’ll always be something new to find.

“Musicology” was the end of Prince’s wilderness years, and in every way, it set him up for the remaining dozen years of his much-too-brief life.

For many people, Ticketmaster might be the first stop for getting Taylor Swift tickets, since the artist links out to this platform from her official website . Unfortunately, many of the Eras tour shows are already sold out on Ticketmaster, including concert dates in the United States (Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis). But don’t be discouraged—we’ve rounded up some other ways to get Eras tour tickets.

• If you’re looking for tickets to one of her shows in Miami, New Orleans or Indianapolis, StubHub has tickets, but they’re pricey. Tickets start around $1,600 and go up to $8,300 for these locations. For the Canadian performances, StubHub tickets start at $965 U.S. dollars and go up to more than $10,000. • SeatGeek has tickets available for Swift’s United States and Canada shows, with prices starting at $1,000.
• Vivid Seats has similar pricing to SeatGeek, with tickets starting at $1,000 in the U.S. and Canada. For her European shows, prices begin a little under $400.
• Swift’s three shows in Dublin, Ireland (taking place from June 28 to 30) aren’t available on Ticketmaster, StubHub or SeatGeek, but they are ready for purchase on TicketNetwork . Prices start around $350.
• Taylor Swift’s website also links out to AEG Presents , which takes users to AXS for several of her European shows. Unfortunately, many tickets are sold out on that reseller platform.

When Do Taylor Swift Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets are already on sale for the 2024 Eras tour dates in North America and Europe, and are selling out fast. If you want to see Taylor Swift live this year, your best bet is to buy as soon as you find a location, date and price that works for you.

How Much Are Taylor Swift Tickets?

Make no mistake: Taylor Swift tickets aren’t cheap. You may find some good deals depending on the venue and how close to the stage you are, but almost any Swift tickets going to set you back anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars.

Her European show prices are vastly different from her North American ones, starting around $250. In all cases, though, don’t forget that these list prices will also come with ticket reseller fees added to the final price.

Ken Carson has announced the 2024 Chaos World Tour, an extensive run of dates that will bring the Atlanta rapper across North America and Europe. He’s hitting the road in support of his new album, A Great Chaos , which came out last October. Find the complete list of tour dates below.

The 2024 Chaos World Tour begins in Orlando, Florida, on July 8 and keeps Ken Carson on the road until October 5, where he ends the run in Prague, Czech Republic. Along the way, he’ll perform in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Paris, London, Berlin, and Milan, among other locales. News of the tour arrives on the heels of Carson’s new track “ Overseas .”
