Check if You Need an Entry Visa
If you hold a travel document issued by one of the countries or places listed below, you will require a valid Singapore entry visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore.
Possession of a valid visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Please refer to entry requirements for more information.
Please note the following:
- SG Arrival Card is not a visa . Please refer to SG Arrival Card e-Service for more information.
- Valid visa holders are required to adhere to the latest travel requirements and advisories , where applicable.
- The period of stay in Singapore is not tied to the validity of your visa. The period of stay is determined by the duration of the Visit Pass issued to you in the form of electronic visit pass (e-Pass) at the checkpoint upon entry.
To extend the duration of stay, the applicant will have to apply for a Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP) extension. For more information, please refer to Seeking Extension of Visit Pass .
A Singapore entry visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the ICA officers at the point of entry. The period of stay granted is not tied to the validity of your visa. ICA does not accept submission of visa application over the immigration counters. If you do not have a Local Contact with a Singpass/Corppass account, you may submit the visa application:
- Through an authorised visa agent appointed by the Singapore Overseas Missions; or
- At the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission .
Please liaise directly with the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission for detailed visa application procedure if the application is to be submitted through their authorised visa agents or at the Singapore Overseas Mission.
From 11 March 2022, all foreign visitors arriving in Singapore will be notified digitally of their Visit Pass (e-Pass) through email. There will not be any endorsement on your passport. The e-Pass notification will indicate the period of stay granted and last day of stay allowed. Please ensure that you provide a valid email address when submitting the SG Arrival Card .
If your travel document is issued by one of the countries/ places listed below, you will require a valid visa to enter Singapore. Click on individual countries/ places to find out more.

Which are the best Singapore visa agents?
A lot of people who like to travel, choose the services provided by a visa agent or a migration employee for many good reasons. The first one is that visas can be more complicated than you think. The application form alone is enough to give you some terrible headaches. Also, migration rules change pretty often, and for a regular person, it may be a bit difficult to keep up.
While there are many Singapore visa agents on the market, iVisa.com is the service you are seeking. Thousands of people use it every month, and according to them, our services exceed your expectations. As you can imagine, you can use the service provided by iVisa.com to apply online for a Singapore eVisa only if you are eligible for it.
But, that’s easy to know. You can use the tool available on our homepage and check if you can apply for the Singapore eVisa or not. Keep reading the questions below to find out how to use this document and how to use the services provided by iVisa.com.
Frequently Asked Questions
How can i check if i need a singapore evisa.
To find it out, you can use iVisa.com’s Visa Checker , which we mentioned before. All you have to do is choose your nationality from the drag-down menu on the left and add Singapore to the menu on the right. The result will tell you whether or not you need a visa, and if you do, it will lay down your options. If you are eligible for a Singapore eVisa , you can apply on the spot. If not, you will be provided with a list of embassies where you can apply.
Does the Singapore online document have a cost?
Yes, it does, but it’s not too expensive. We recommend you apply with us to avoid wasting hours lining at the airport. To obtain an eVisa with iVisa.com , you just need a few minutes of your valuable time, then, we do the rest. That is the reason we charge you a small amount, and you will be able to have your Arrival Card in as little as 30 minutes.
What is the SG Arrival Card?
The SG Arrival Card stands for the Singapore Electronic Arrival Card , an electronic admission document that you can easily use to replace the traditional paper Disembarkation/Embarkation Card (DE Card).
Just remember that the SG Arrival Card has a validity of 30 days after issued or until passport expires . Also, with this document, you can enter the country for a maximum of 30 days Per Entry with a Single Entry .
What documents do I need to apply online?
To apply online with iVisa.com, you’ll just have to offer some basic documents and items like:
- Your valid passport .
- A credit/debit card or Paypal account to pay for the service offered at iVisa.com
- Lastly, your email address to get the SG Card on time and safely.
What are the processing times and prices by using iVisa.com?
We propose three options for the processing time and price of it:
- Standard processing : this is the basic option, but it’s still quite fast. You can receive your SG Arrival Card in your email inbox in 24 hours , and the price is USD $52.99 (service fees included).
- Rush processing : with this option, you only wait 4 hours , and the total price you have to pay is USD $96.99 (service fees included).
- Super rush processing : this processing option is faster than the other two, so it makes you wait for only 30 minutes , and you are charged USD $149.99 .
How does the SG Arrival Card work?
In August 2019, the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) launched to the public the Electronic Arrival Card to replace the traditional paper Disembarkation / Embarkation Card (DE Card).
Therefore, the SG Arrival Card works as an electronic admission document. This document is easier to get than the DE Card, and it makes you avoid wasting time and effort at the airport. You will receive the SG Arrival Card via email after filling our application form.
iVisa.com offers this service to help travelers save time and avoid long lines at the airport. Also, by getting an Electronic Arrival Card, you do not have to fill out the paperwork handed out on the plane. Please know this service is not a requirement to enter Singapore and it carries a service fee.
How can I apply for the Singapore SG Arrival Card?
You won’t need to do many things to get your SG Arrival Card in your email inbox fast. All you have to do is to complete this online process that has 3 steps:
- The first thing you have to fill in the form with your basic details and then select the procedure time you fancy.
- The second thing is to check that everything’s correct before paying with your Paypal or debit/credit card .
- The last thing to do is to attach some documents to the form and send it once you’re ready with it.
After you complete this 3-step process, just wait for your SG Arrival Card in your email inbox and that’s all!
Does obtaining an SG Arrival Card guarantee automated entry to Singapore?
No. The Singapore Electronic Arrival Card does not guarantee entry to the country. It’s up to the country’s customs authorities to allow entry to a visitor after procedure checking upon arrival.
How safe is iVisa.com’s service?
One of the best Singapore visa agents is iVisa.com because this company offers a reliable service that won’t risk your personal details at any time. Therefore, we can guarantee that you can always apply with us to get your travel documents as fast as possible without feeling worried.

How To Improve The Odds Your Travel Visa Application Will Be Approved
C itizens of countries with powerful passports are quite privileged, with some never having to apply for a visa in their lifetime, much less worry about it being rejected. This is because some of the world's most powerful passports allow their holders to enter over 180 destinations visa-free.
With 195 countries in the world, those with powerful passports by no means allow free access to every country. There are cases where you will definitely need to apply for a visa. In some cases, "applying" for a visa is as simple as showing up at the airport and getting a stamp in your passport or paying a small fee when you pass through immigration.
In other cases, it can be a bit more complicated. If you are a U.S. citizen, you may need to apply for a visa for countries like India, Brazil, and Australia well in advance of your trip, and there is always a chance that your visa application may be rejected. However, we have some tips and tricks for you to follow that may improve the odds that your visa application will be approved.
Timing Is Everything When It Comes To Visas
Applying for a visa can give us travelers anxiety. You either need to wait to book flights, hotels, and excursions until after it's approved (which can take many weeks) or risk paying cancelation fees for everything if your visa is rejected. So, it should go without saying that you need to do your research in advance of deciding to go somewhere to determine if a visa is needed and, if it is, how long it takes to acquire said visa. Don't apply at the last minute and hope for the best.
Another aspect of your application timing you will need to check on is your passport expiration date. If your passport expires within six months of your travel dates, it's almost guaranteed that your visa application will be rejected, regardless of the country. This is a pretty universal rule and one you should follow regardless of whether you're applying for a visa. In fact, most countries will not allow you to enter if your passport is within six months of expiring.
You will also need to consider the duration of your tourist visa and ensure your travel plans start and end on the appropriate dates. You do not want to overstay your visa and risk fines, jail time, and deportation. You also will never be allowed back into the country if you're caught overstaying.
Use A Travel Visa Service Or Book Your Trip With A Travel Agency
When it comes to visas, sometimes it's better just to leave it to the professionals. For many countries with a strict, complicated, or lengthy visa application process, some companies offer travel visa expediting services to assist you with the process. For example, G3 is a popular visa expediting service that offers travelers the ability to apply for visas for a fee. The cost depends on your nationality and where you are applying for a visa but typically ranges in the hundreds of collars.
In other cases, like U.S. citizens traveling to Bhutan or Cuba, you can only apply for a visa as part of a tour package. For travel to these countries, it might be easier for you to book your trip with a tour group and apply for your visa with that agency or company. You might have to pay an additional service fee on top of the application fee, but taking the hassle of applying for a visa out of your hands will be worth it.
