Guided france tours by region.

You might be surprised to learn what were once considered “provinces” in France are now considered “regions.” In total, France has 18 regions all with their own capital city. Here are some of our favorite regions to explore on one of our across France that you’ll definitely want to check out deciding where you want to go and what you want to see on your France tour.

Normandy Tours

Travel to Normandy to stand on the Pointe du Hoc, overlooking the beaches where soldiers fought in World War II. Most France tours to Normandy include a visit to pay respects at the American Military Cemetery of Saint-Laurent, near Omaha Beach, where Allied Forces landed on D-Day. Visit Rouen, the capital of Normandy, to admire its ancient cathedral - a masterpiece of Gothic style and the subject of a series of paintings by Claude Monet. Wander through the narrow streets to the Old Market Square, where a more modern church commemorates the burning of Joan of Arc in 1431. Visit the D-Day Museum in Arromanches and see the remnants of the artificial port in the bay. Spend time at the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and learn about the epic story of William, Duke of Normandy becoming the King of England. One of our favorite places to see on a tour through Normandy is the hilltop abbey of Mont Saint-Michel. Situated on an island, the abbey is reached by a bridge across the shining sands. Behind the outer ring of defenses huddles the small town - it's one street containing shops, cafes, and hotels.

Nouvelle-Aquitaine & Bordeaux Tours

Nouvelle-Aquitaine is an area famed for its wine, beaches, and rustic countryside. The historic region encompasses the southwest corner of France, along the coast, and where the country borders Spain, what’s known as The Northern Basque Country. Tours that visit Aquitaine often stop in Bordeaux , Fort Médoc, Cadillac, Blaye, and Libourne. Bordeaux, the regional capital, proclaims itself the wine industry capital of the world. A french trip to Bordeaux offer views of thousands of vineyards, breathtaking backdrops, wines, and cultural treasures. The legendary Médoc region abounds with prestigious wine châteaux. The medieval town of Saint-Émilion is an ideal place to wander through cobblestone lanes lined with wine shops and bakeries. Lucky visitors to Saint-Émilion can enjoy a wine tasting in the cellars of a Grand Cru estate. Libourne’s market is the heart and soul of the town; offering the freshest vegetables, the ripest cheeses, the most luscious fruits, the loveliest flowers, and a chance to chat with the local producers and growers.

Île-de-France & Paris Tours

Travelers on Île-de-France tours will most certainly visit Paris  but should also take the time to explore La Roche-Guyon, Vernon, Giverny, and Mantes-la-Jolie ( Versailles ). On a tour through the Île-de-France region, immerse yourself in beautiful Paris, the City of Light. You’ll see the impressive Eiffel Tower, the imposing facades of the Louvre, the steps of Montmarte, the famous bridges that cross the River Seine, the obelisk in the center of the Place de la Concorde, the busy Champs Elysées, and Napoleon's Arc de Triomphe. If you’re an avid foodie, Paris is an absolute delight. Visit markets and head into areas where Parisians go about their daily lives to explore small shops and sample local treats and delicacies. Visit Monet’s home in the village of Giverny, where he lived and worked for more than 40 years. Monet also often painted the little riverside town of Vernon, so you are likely to recognize scenes the master rendered in oils.

Languedoc-Roussillon (Occitanie) Tours

In the south of France, the region of "Languedoc- Roussillon" (known as “Languedoc”) recently merged with the neighboring region of Midi-Pyrénées to form a new region under the name "Occitanie" Visitors to France often seek Languedoc tours to see the famous three-tiered, retired aqueduct known as the Pont du Gard. The region is also one of the top producers of wine in France, so you’re guaranteed gorgeous rolling hills, a mild climate, and a lot of wine to sample.

The Centre Region of France and Loire Valley Châteaux Tours

The Loire River in the Centre region of France is lined with magnificent châteaux that embrace the gorgeous landscape and celebrate fine food and wine, making the region one of the most attractive destinations in France. On Loire Valley tours , visitors will often seek to experience the fairytale châteaux of Chambord and Chenonceau. Head to Château de Villandry, the jewel of the Loire, to visit the glorious sustainable gardens, and make sure you don't miss the water, ornamental, and fragrant kitchen gardens. Another château not to miss in the area is the famous Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, considered one of the best representations of French Renaissance architecture.

Burgundy and Provence Alpes–Côte d'Azur Tours

Perhaps two of the most famous areas in France, Burgundy and Provence offer visitors the region’s incomparable wine and cuisine plus access to art and history. During the lavender season, approximately mid-June to mid-August, your travels should take you to the famous lavender fields of Provence . If you're in the area, you'll want to travel to Arles, a city that has existed since the sixth century BC when the ancient Greeks founded it and named it Theline. Known for its remarkable Roman ruins, Arles so inspired Van Gogh that he painted some 200 paintings there. Stroll the very streets made famous by the artist. It was also here that the Romans built their first bridge across the Rhône River, creating a vital overland route between Italy and Spain. At a point on the east bank of the Rhône River before a wide delta, the walled city of Avignon is one of the most fascinating towns you can visit in southeastern France, with a host of historic gems to explore—including the fortress residence of rebellious popes who broke from Rome, known as the Palace of the Popes.

Frequently Asked Questions When Choosing A France Tour

  • When is the best time to tour France? The best time to visit France is in the springtime, followed by the summer and autumn seasons next. Spring will almost always guarantee fewer crowds and cooler temperatures ranging from 55°F to 68°F. Plus, Paris in spring is absolutely incredible with fewer crowds, blooming trees, and that gentle weather.

If you only get to see one city on a French vacation, the best place to visit i is Paris. Visitors flock to Paris to explore the mecca of fashion, food, art, and more. Travelers can dedicate full days to exploring the Louvre in Paris and strolling the nearby gardens of the historical Palace of Versailles.

If you have more time to spend in this gorgeous country, we highly recommend visiting the Loire Valley for the châteaux, Bordeaux for the vineyards and wine, Normandy for the history, Mont-Saint Michele for the photo opp, Basque country for the cheeses, and Giverny for a peek into Monet’s world. France Tour Reviews

France - tour highlights and travel tips.

The Eiffel Tower is most visited paid monument in the world. In 2011, 6.98 million people visited it.

There are all kinds of markers for your holiday in France. A wine region, a river, an attraction, a cathedral, an outdoor adventure, urban wonders, just about anything could end up being the highlight of your itinerary. With most cities offering a peek into traditional Europe and all places boasting of fascinating natural beauty, it doesn’t get any better either. Irrespective of where your interests lie, a trip to France always includes arts and architecture. After all, some of the most famous museums, ancient Roman temples, renaissance-era wonders, artworks and landmarks can be found in the country. Considering that its star attraction, the Eiffel Tower, attracts more than 7 million visitors each year, you can understand why trips to this country are always memorable.

Travel Highlights

  • Take in the view from the top of the Eiffel Tower
  • Eat some escargots
  • Watch the sunrise from steps in front of the Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre
  • Listen to the ringing bells at Notre Dame Cathedral
  • Do a wine tasting tour in Burgundy and Bordeaux but areas like Champagne, Rhone Valley and Loire are equally spectacular.
  • Try the mouth watering seafood of Britany and Michelin-stars of Provence to the black truffles of Dordogne
  • Try the distinct cheeses of Burgundy
  • Take a cruise down the Seine
  • Visit the floating monastery of Mont Saint-Michel
  • Stroll through the gardens of the Palace of Versailles

Travel Tips

  • While many French people speak English, they prefer to speak French. The locals really appreciate when tourists make an effort to learn some basic words and phrases.
  • Most French cities, including Paris , can be seen entirely by foot. Pack decent walking shoes and save money on public transit.
  • The French are very polite and expect good manners. Avoid antisocial behaviour like shouting and chewing gum.
  • Unless it’s on your bucket list, skip the Mona Lisa. While the Louvre is well worth a visit (and is free on the first Sunday of each month), this painting can be difficult to see as it is surprisingly small and often surrounded by big crowds snapping photos.
  • Beware pickpockets and sneaky tricks to get your money. Don’t allow a street vendor to help you “try on” a bracelet, and do not pick up “gold” rings you find on the ground - these are common tricks.

France has seasonal weather so please do check up on best time to visit France before planning your tour. And if you’re still hunting for more things to do and places to explore in France, do check out our France Travel Guide for more information.

Tours in France - Questions and Answers

France is a year-round destination. However, the best time to visit France for most travelers is either from April through to June or from October to November. Highlights across the country see less footfall – and therefore shorter queues – during these periods compared to the high summer season between July and September. Temperatures are also more suitable for exploration and hiking during these months, averaging 16°C to 23°C. The winter season, lasting from December to March, is the coldest and the wettest period of the year, although this is the best time to undertake a skiing trip in the Alps or Pyrenees. Find more information here .

France is not the cheapest of European destinations to visit. A combination of high accommodation costs and an amazing range of attractions means budgets often get stretched. Traveling outside of the summer will give a better value for money. Paris is by far the most expensive city in the country. By comparison, food is relatively cheap in neighborhood cafes and restaurants, so you certainly do not have to go hungry! Expect to spend somewhere in the region of USD 210 per person, per day on both food and accommodation.

Travel insurance is an absolute must and needs to include a medical cover that can otherwise top hundreds of thousands of dollars in case of an accident.

The variety of things to do in France , from city sightseeing to riviera stays and vineyard visits, means that we recommend a vacation lasting at least ten days. This is a good amount of time to crisscross the country and tick off highlights without having to dash from place to place. However, if you can only spend one week in France , it is better to limit your trip to a region such as Normandy in the north or  Alsace on the western bank of the River Rhine. If you have more questions, read our travel guide on how many days to spend in France .

There is a stereotypical view of the French as people who refuse to speak English. However, most people in towns and cities – and particularly the younger generation – speak good levels of English. Despite this, it is always better to start your conversation with a few words in French and allow the other person to switch to English on hearing your accent. A phrasebook of the French language is therefore a useful addition to your packing list, and using it will massively enhance your understanding of the country and its culture.

France has an excellent transport infrastructure. High speed trains dart through a network centred around Paris and reach all destinations of significance within the country and outside, including the United Kingdom and Belgium via the Channel Tunnel. The downside is that you must pre-book tickets, and once seats are sold out there is no way of boarding a service. Driving through French roads is a much more relaxed affair than in other European countries since most drivers are considerate. The exception to this rule is Paris, where traffic jams are notorious and parking is often impossible to find. Destinations like Corisca, on the other hand, can be reached via regular ferries from Marseilles and Toulon.

It is considered very impolite to start speaking to anyone providing a service – such as a hotel receptionist, waiter or a shop assistant – without greeting them first. Bonjour (hello) is sufficient. If you are traveling with a group of people, you should greet each person individually on arriving and before departing. Table manners are particularly important, and you should take your time when eating and drinking. Being overly loud or brash is also a no-no. Drunkenness is not tolerated.

A lunchtime meal at an inexpensive restaurant will cost around USD 16 per person excluding alcohol. House wines can be purchased for just a couple of dollars per glass, while a draught beer can be had for around USD 6 per bottle. A three-course evening meal at a mid-range restaurant will set you back by around USD 28 per person, with prices about a third higher in Paris and around popular spots such as restaurants in the main square of Nice.

In addition to visiting France’s world-famous sites, visitors can take advantage of an excellent range of signposted footpaths to discover the country, be it while going on a cross-country hiking trip through the long-distance GR7 or enjoying a gentle stroll in the French countryside. Another popular activity to indulge in during your stay in France is skiing. Along with popular destinations like Val d'Isère and Chamonix, Perpignan, located close to the Pyrenees, is also a great place to tackle snowy slopes on skis or snowboards. Along with all this, cuisine is also an important aspect of any tours to France. Make sure that you try local dishes – accompanied by the superb wines from nearby vineyards – wherever you visit in the country.

What travelers say about their trips to France

Travel tips for france trips.

While it's a relatively temperate country, France's weather ranges significantly from region to region. Many consider the best times to travel to France to be spring and fall, when temperatures are more moderate. In Paris for example, spring and fall temperatures are in the 50s, 60s, and 70s F, perfect for walking around sites like the Tuileries, Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and Versailles. The comfortable weather paired with smaller crowds, more relaxed locals, and seasonal festivals and flavors make these in-between seasons particularly lovely times for a trip to France.

In the warmer summer months, parks, picnics, farmers markets, and outdoor festivals are especially lively. In winter, the weather gets colder and wetter (though there's not much snow in major cities like Paris), but there's still lots to do! You'll find festive holiday decorations, great museums, and more.

France is a diverse country, from the historic beaches in Normandy and Brittany on the northern coast, to the foodie-favored wine regions of Champagne and Burgundy, to the lavish châteaux of the Loire Valley. Plus, as you travel east, the influence of Switzerland and Germany can be felt in the food, architecture, and history in Alsace.

When picking which of our France guided tours is right for you, let your interests help drive your destination selection.

  • Want to experience art, romance, and culture? Paris should be on your itinerary, so you can take in the icons like Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, Luxembourg Gardens, and more.
  • If you’re a foodie who counts food and wine as a top traveling priority, check out our guided tours that visit Burgundy, Lyon, or Bordeaux.
  • History buffs, your must-visits include Normandy and Paris.
  • For those who love to be outdoors soaking in the scenery, be sure to check out Provence in the south, where medieval towns and artistic cities are sandwiched between the mountains of the Alps and the sea breeze of the Mediterranean.

In France, eating is an art form. Meals are meant to savored—shared among friends, enjoyed with local wines, and made up of fresh, seasonal ingredients. While the cuisine ranges throughout the country, you’ll always find a focus on local, in-season ingredients. Here are a couple of things to know when sitting down for a meal during your trip to France.

  • Breakfast, called le petit déjeuner, is generally light, like a croissant or bread with jam and coffee.
  • Lunch, or le déjeuner, was traditionally a two-hour, several-course affair where people took time to relax and unwind with friends. In today’s society, something quicker and more casual—like soup, salad, or sandwiches at a cafe—is very commonplace.
  • Dinner, or le diner, is served around eight or later and can be made up of several courses. Typically, it starts with the appetizer, or l ’entrée , followed by the main course, or l e plat principal , followed by a cheese course and dessert. And remember, be sure to ask for your check when you're done—it's considered rude for wait staff to bring it to your table unrequested. Bon appétit!

The French are famous for their style, so deciding what to pack for a trip to France requires some consideration. Our escorted tours to France incorporate a fair amount of walking as local guides take you around their hometowns, so comfortable walking shoes are a must.

For the building blocks of your France vacation wardrobe, pack easy-to-layer pieces that can be mixed and matched in various ways—neutrals or a cohesive color palette helps a lot! Add in a versatile scarf—perfect for staying warm on flights and afternoon walks, as well as adding a pop of color to simple outfits. Beyond that, we’d recommend your camera, a notebook to jot down any fun facts or book recommendations your Tour Director might share, and a sense of adventure. Once you book one of our France guided tours, you can find a packing list for that specific trip in our easy Tour Companion App.

France FAQ's

The first thing that often comes to mind when you think of France is Paris, the capital of this stunning country and one of the hottest tourist destinations in the entire world. Symbols such as the Louvre, the Catheral of Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Montemartre, and the Georges Pompidou Center all make Paris one of the most visited places in the world. However, France is a large country in Europe and there are so many other destinations and attractions that it is known for. The country is famous for its cheeses (Camembert, Brie, Roquefort), wines (Bordeaux, Burgundy, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, etc.), perfumes (Chanel, Dior, Givenchy) and cars (Renault, Citroen, Peugeot) as well as the Tour de France and the Eiffel Tower. France has surprises stored for you at every corner, be it French food, the culture, their language, and their natural beauty. It has amazing artists, memorable monuments and so much more! It is the most visited country in the world and you really need to come see it for yourself to see what all the fuss is about.

The French lovingly call their beloved homeland `l`Hexagone` because of its distinct six-sided shape. Each region of France has its own unique character: the rugged and outdoorsy Alpilles , sun-drenched and relaxed Provence , the alluring and stunning Provencal Coast , and Alsace Lorraine with picture-perfect hamlets nestled in vine-covered hills. You also won't want to miss the Nice and the beaches of the French Riviera . Paris and Versailles are must-see destinations for a first trip to France. Other classic travel itineraries include stops at chic seaside resorts, fairy-tale castles, and magnificent Gothic cathedrals. More authentic and off-the-beaten-track experiences are found in the countryside, such as at farmhouses in Burgundy , fishing villages in Brittany, and in the forests of the Pyrenees Mountains.

France, particularly the cities, can be enjoyed all year round, but the country is at its best in the spring (April–May), summer (June–August) and autumn (September–October). Overall, France enjoys mild temperatures, but regional variations include a Mediterranean climate in the south and wetter weather in the north near the English Channel. In August most of the country closes down to chase the sunshine in the south. Winter is one of our preferred times to explore Paris, as the crowds are fewer yet the restaurants are still lively with locals. For more information, check out: Best time to Visit .

We recommend 7-10 days based on what you want to see and do. We offer flexible vacation packages so you can select your number of nights in each city, desired hotel and activities. We suggest a minimum of 3 nights in larger cities.

Traveling around France is easy, whether you get there by plane, train, automobile - or even boat, in the case of Corsica. So getting out and exploring the countryside, wine regions and other sights is accessible and easy. A fast two-hour train ride from Paris will get you to Lyon, France`s gastronomic center. A 90-minute drive puts you in Champagne, where you can sip Champagne in the town where Dom Perignon perfected it. A train to Marseilles lets you soak up the Mediterranean sun while visiting classic Provencal towns like Aix, St. Remy, Arles and Nimes. By Car: If you`re sticking to major cities during your trip, there`s no need to rent a car. You`re much better off transferring by train - and driving in urban areas can be a hair-raising experience. But if you`re looking to explore the little towns and villages France is famous for, renting a car will give you the freedom you need. All the major rental agencies serve France. For more information, check out check out: Driving in France . By Train: France created one of the earliest high-speed train systems, and continues to add destinations. The TGV ( Train a Grande Vitesse ) serves 150 cities in France and neighboring countries, at speeds up to 200 miles per hour. It`s operated by SNCF, the state-owned railway company, which also offers regular inter-city services on its 20,000 miles of rails.

The currency of France is the Euro. US dollars are not accepted. Please be sure to have the correct currency on hand or be prepared to exchange your dollars for euros upon arrival. Currency exchange desks can be found at the airport and many locations throughout the city. For more detailed information, consult our guide by clicking here Tipping in France .

French is the official language in France. English may be spoken at your hotel and in the tourist areas, but not everywhere. You may face instances that are confusing, but don't stress and you'll do fine. Lots of people speak English and at the very least are used to dealing with tourists who do not speak French. We suggest you get a good English-French guidebook and familiarize yourself with common phrases such as hello, goodbye, excuse me and numbers 1-10.

Your ‘how to go to France’, is always backed with the best option of transport - Airplane. This is less tedious and very comfortable since the distance between France and India is around 7364 Km and it is possibly tiring to visit France by any other means.

If you are planning for a trip to France from India, travelling by air is one of the most convenient modes of travel. The Charles de Gaulle is one of the major airports of France and is located in its capital city - Paris. Orly Airport which is located in the South of France is the second major airport. There are airports in Nice, Lyon, Bordeaux catering flights from France to India. Flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore with Jet Airways, Air India, Air France Gulf Air and British Airways offer an average flight time of 9 to 10 hours. All these cities have direct and stopover flights to France. Making sure to book flights along with your France tour packages is definitely worth it.

France is about 7400 Km away from India and travelling to France from India by road is a much tedious process. They look impossible but road trips from nearby European countries to France are ideally possible through Car, bike, taxis and bicycle. The countryside of France is amazingly picturesque that any Paris France packages should not be missing. However, the internal transport network is very strong connecting you to various destinations within the city. The hop on hop off, metros and trams are very convenient modes of transport for you to roam around France.

Travelling to France by Sea has a different layer of adventure unwrapped. This could be made a little more flavorful by taking a road trip from your city to Mumbai and sailing to France from the Mumbai waters. It takes an average 28 days for you to reach the Basse Indre, Paris from the Mumbai Port. Not just the cost of a trip to France from India, the number of days you spend travelling are also high. It takes almost a month to reach France but if you are someone who love sailing and have so much days allotted in your itinerary, approaching one of your favourite ferry lines - DFDS, DFDS Seaways, Condor Ferries, Brittany Ferries, P&O Ferries and LD Lines would be ideal.

Visa Guidelines & Requirements

Every tourist visiting France from India should apply for a Schengen visa, which is a 90-day tourist visa. The Schengen visa includes tourism visits, official trips, short-term study visits, and cultural trips. The duration of the visa is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The Schengen visa fee for Indian applicants to France would cost INR 7088 (80 Euros).

Tour de France legends Julich, Vande Velde and Hincapie will ride alongside the first 200 registered riders to a casual, one-kilometer speed criterium loop race that travels around downtown for 20 minutes beginning at 5:15 p.m.

Beginning at 3 p.m., men's and women's professional and amateur cycling will occur along Main and Coffee Street. Bike races will continue through 9 p.m. to determine a winner in nine divisions, ranging from 30-minute rides to a 70-lap competition.

Tour de france stage 1: the hilliest-ever opening stage of the tour, a dramatic opener to this year's tour with an elevation gain of 3,800 meters. will the bunch fragment like last year.

Stage 1 — Saturday, June 29 Florence-Rimini Distance: 206km (128 miles) Profile: Medium mountain stage

Stage 1: A daunting opener

Last year’s first stage was said by some to be amongst the hardest Tour openers ever; one year later, the organizers have decided to follow the same template.

Indeed they have ramped up the difficulty, with an elevation gain of 3,800 meters, some 500 meters more than last time around. The stage will not so much shake off the cobwebs as evaporate them. Starting in Florence as part of the first-ever Italian Grand Depart in history, the riders will have 30 mainly flat kilometers before the first of seven categorized climbs rear up.

The Col de Valico Tre Faggi is the highest on the stage, peaking at 930 meters altitude after 12.5km of climbing. A breakaway is almost certain to form here and, passing over the subsequent climbs of the Côte des Forche, the Côte de Carnaio and the Colle de Barbotto, should be able to further pad their advantage.

The pendulum may well swing the other way over the three climbs located in the final 50 kms. The last of these, the Côte de Saint-Marino, is followed by 25 downhill and flat roads to the finish in Rimini. Much will depend on how the favorites ride the stage but if the big names and their teams go all in, a very difficult first day is in store.

The stage finish is a poignant location for Italian cycling. The 1998 Tour de France winner Marco Pantani died in Rimini in 2004, with this year’s Tour taking place 20 years after that tragic event.

The view of Tour de France race director Christian Prudhomme: “It’s rare for the Tour de France to start with more than 3,600 meters of climbing — in fact it’s never happened before! — and it’s also the first time that the race has visited the home city of Gino Bartali.

“The succession of hills in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna are likely to be the setting for an immediate and testing confrontation between the contenders for the title, particularly the climb into San Marino (7.1km at 4.8 percent), where the race will add a 13th name to its catalogue of foreign visits.”

Texas MS 150 Bike Tour Returns To Aggieland

Texas A&M University will once again serve as the finish line for thousands of cyclists riding in the Texas MS 150 when the 40th annual charity bike tour concludes Sunday on Houston Street between Kyle Field and Aggie Park.

The two-day event benefiting people with multiple sclerosis — a condition that damages the body’s nervous system by eroding the protective coating of nerves — will run April 27-28, with a variety of routes beginning in Houston and Austin before converging in La Grange and again in College Station. Texas A&M Transportation Services is advising drivers to anticipate multiple road closures and potential delays beginning early Sunday as the riders make their way through campus.

A section of Lamar Street starting at the bell tower will be closed to drivers throughout the day, while Houston Street will remain closed from George Bush Drive to Joe Routt Boulevard. Riders will make their way down Olsen Boulevard and Old Main Drive before passing the Memorial Student Center and Kyle Field on their way to the finish line. A map of the route through campus, as well as accompanying road closure and parking information, can be found at transport.tamu.edu/ms150 .

Visitors planning to watch the participants finish are invited to park in one of the three nearby garages: Gene Stallings Boulevard Garage and University Center Garage will both charge a flat $10 entry fee, while West Campus Garage charges an hourly visitor rate. Additional parking information is available on Transportation Services’ event parking page .

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Bike MS, which encompasses the Texas MS 150 and a variety of other charity rides across the country, traces its roots to 1980, when the first MS 150 was held in Minnesota. Today, it is the largest fundraising cycling series in the world. Participants in this year’s Texas MS 150 have already raised nearly $7 million to fight multiple sclerosis, with an overall fundraising goal of $9.425 million. More information about the Texas MS 150 and Bike MS is available at events.nationalmssociety.org .

We spent a very pleasant week on your Arosa Stella. The buffet was very extensive and tasty. However, we would have preferred the French cuisine in France. Jewels of France including Normandy (8 Days)

Fantastic guide and service on the whole. The hotels were basic, but clean. Location for the Paris hotel was not ideal. Itinerary was good, although I felt that some places were given too little time. For example, 2 hours was definitely not enough to explore Mt. Saint Michel thouroughly. All in all a great package, especially for those who would like to travel in groups instead of on their own.

3-day Guided Normandy : D Day Beaches, Mont Saint-michel And Loire Valley Chateaux From Paris

Great tour. Extremely knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide (Layla). Kept everyone on schedule and filled us in on historical facts along the way. The days were long, but no time wasted. The length of the stops and unsupervised time was appropriate. The towns we visited gave us a much fuller perspective of France than does Paris alone. Layla fixed a reservation miscue at our first hotel very efficiently. My only (tiny) complaint was that the dinner at Caen was pretty mediocre. This was a GREAT way to see Normandy, Mt St Michel, the Loire valley, and several towns along the way.

Overall a great tour. Much more than we expected. Highly recommend instead of trying to visit a foreign country without a tour guide and driver-- both of whom were fabulous !!
Wonderful tour. Top notch accommodations; very comfortable tour bus; courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable tour guide and driver. Restaurant selections were fine and we had sufficient time to explore on our own. Highly recommended.
