What Is Blink-182’s Setlist Of Songs For Their 2023 World Tour?

Flisadam Pointer

Quite literally, the band ( Blink-182 ) is back together: Tom DeLonge , Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker reunited at Coachella for a glorious reminder of their lasting impact on rock music. However, the music festival was just the tip of the iceberg. Following a delay due to Barker’s finger injury , which required surgery, last night (May 4), the group finally kicked off their monumental world tour in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Given the fact that it’s been nearly a decade since their last performance before Coachella, and with the group’s fluctuation, fans were curious as to which songs would make Blink-182’s set of songs for the world tour. Thanks to Setlist.fm , concertgoers now have a better idea of what they can expect when the band heads to the city nearest them. Several fan-favorite songs, including “Adam’s Song,” “Ghost On The Dancefloor,” and “Up All Night,” reentered their setlist, while songs like “Cynical” and “Bored To Death” were first-time live performances with DeLonge.

Setlist + Video – Blink-182 Play Matt Skiba Era Songs With Tom DeLonge for First Time at Tour Kickoff

After a pair of unexpected headlining performances at this year's Coachella festival, Blink-182 have performed the first show of the reunion tour with Tom DeLonge in Minnesota. The band even played two songs from the Matt Skiba era and fan-filmed footage can be seen below in addition to the the complete 25-song setlist.

What songs from the Matt Skiba era were played?

Performing at the Xcel Center in St. Paul, Minnesota last night (May 4), Blink-182 dove into two tracks off 2016's  California , which was the pop-punk group's first full length with Matt Skiba ( Alkaline Trio ) on guitar and vocals in place of DeLonge, who departed in 2015.

Appearing 12th in the set was "Cynical" and the album's biggest hit, "Bored to Death" came 18th. Both are popular live tracks that were often played during Skiba' tenure, with "Bored to Death" having been performed over 200 times before DeLonge rejoined.

No songs off 2019's  Nine , Blink's second record with Skiba, were part of the set.

Blink-182, "Bored to Death" Live on May 4, 2023 (First Time With Tom DeLonge)

Blink-182, "cynical" live on may 4, 2023 (first time with tom delonge), were there any other rarities in the set.

Yes there were!

"Up All Night," culled from 2011's  Neighborhoods , the last with DeLonge before he exited in 2015, was played for the first time live since 2016 and for the first time with the returning member since 2014.

Blink-182, "Up All Night" Live on May 4, 2023

The incredibly popular  Enema of the State hit "Adam's Song" was the 20th track of the night and it was the first time Blink-182 brought it to the stage since 2009. "Ghost on the Dance Floor," the  Neighborhoods opener, directly followed, putting an end to the nearly decade-long gap in live performances.

Blink-182, "Adam's Song" Live on May 4, 2023

Blink-182, "ghost on the dance floor" live on may 4, 2023.

Blink-182 Reunite With Tom DeLonge, Announce 2023 Tour

By Evan Minsker and Jazz Monroe

Blink182s Mark Hoppus Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker

Blink-182 have reunited with founding member Tom DeLonge and announced a 2023 tour. The classic lineup of DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker will also release a comeback single called “Edging” on Friday (October 14). Check out the tour dates, which include North American shows with support from Turnstile, at the bottom of the page, and watch the characteristically juvenile announcement video below. The band will release a new album next year, according to a press release.

DeLonge started Blink-182 with Mark Hoppus in 1992. Their debut album, Cheshire Cat , arrived in 1995, followed by the “Dammit”-featuring album Dude Ranch in 1997. After original drummer Scott Raynor was dismissed from the band in 1998, Travis Barker came aboard in time to record the band’s multi-platinum 1999 album Enema of the State , which featured the hit singles “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things.”

Their first No. 1 album in the United States followed, 2001’s Take Off Your Pants and Jacket . In 2002, DeLonge and Barker released a side project as a duo, a self-titled Box Car Racer album. The following year, Blink-182 released a self-titled album before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2005.

DeLonge focused on his band Angels & Airwaves, which released their debut album in 2006, while Barker became a prolific session drummer, particularly in the worlds of pop-punk and hip-hop. In 2008, Barker was involved in a plane crash that led to the trio returning for a reunion tour in 2009. In 2011, Blink-182 released Neighborhoods and they continued to tour in the early 2010s before DeLonge departed the band in early 2015.

Hoppus and Barker discussed DeLonge’s departure in an interview with Rolling Stone at the time, saying that after the band signed a recording contract and booked a studio for album sessions, Hoppus and Barker received emails from DeLonge’s management announcing that he was leaving the band. “To be honest, I wasn’t that surprised because his attitude leading up to that had been not excited and not interested,” Hoppus said. Barker called DeLonge “disrespectful and ungrateful” to have his manager break the news and not call them himself. “Why Blink even got back together in the first place is questionable,” Barker said.

Following DeLonge’s departure, Blink-182 hired Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba. They released two albums under that lineup: 2016’s California and 2019’s Nine . The band toured consistently in the late 2010s, too, and was booked to perform at the famously doomed Fyre Festival.

During his time away from the group, DeLonge has continued recording with Angels & Airwaves. He has notably committed much of his time to the study of aliens, UFOs, and conspiracy theories. He founded the company To the Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences in 2015 and was the executive producer behind the History Channel series Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation . In 2020, the Pentagon declassified UFO videos that DeLonge’s company had previously shared.

In the recent past, Barker has become something of an omnipresent cultural and tabloid figure. He has collaborated with Post Malone, Machine Gun Kelly, Willow, and XXXTentacion, to name a few. In May 2022, he married Kourtney Kardashian.

Since 2019, Hoppus has been hosting the Apple Music 1 radio show After School Radio . In 2021, he revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer; later that year, he said he was cancer free . In an August 2022 interview with People , Hoppus revealed that DeLonge and Barker visited him before he started chemotherapy. “It was the first time that all three of us were in the same room in, like, five years,” Hoppus said. “It’s actually better than it used to be. There was no agenda. There were no lingering grudges. It felt very back to what it should be: three friends sitting in a room.… Everybody’s in a really great place right now.”

Blink-182 reuniting for massive 2023 world tour, new song coming Friday

The group also has a new single coming Oct. 14.

Blink-182 announced their biggest tour ever, with Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker reuniting for the first time in nearly 10 years.

After wiping their website and Instagram clean yesterday, seemingly in preparation for some big news, Blink-182 has come through with a major announcement: Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker are reuniting for a massive 2023 world tour.

The trio have also made some new music: Their new song, "Edging," will be out this Friday.

The band made the announcement in a very on-brand double entendre-filled video .

The tour starts in Latin America in March 2023 with the band Wallows as the opening act. North American tour dates start May 4 in St. Paul, Minnesota, with the band Turnstile opening.

That leg of the tour wraps up July 16 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band will then head to Europe in September with The Story So Far as openers, and Australia/New Zealand in 2024 with Rise Against on the bill.

The tour also includes an Oct. 12, 2023 appearance at the When We Were Young festival, and appearances at Lollapalooza Argentina, Lollapalooza Chile and Lollapalooza Brazil.

Tickets go on sale Monday, Oct. 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. local time at blink182.com.

The band's return to the stage is significant, considering its members have been dealing with a lot in their personal lives: Bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus has been continuing to recover from his 2021 cancer battle, while drummer Travis Barker was hospitalized earlier this year with pancreatitis.

Blink-182 Reunites with Tom DeLonge for Massive 2023 World Tour, New Album and 'Edging' Single

Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge are back together for the first time since 2015 with new music and an extensive string of concerts across Latin America, North America, Europe and Oceania

Get ready to Take Off Your Pants and Jacket , because Blink-182 is back in its most iconic form.

Blink-182 surprised fans on Tuesday with the announcement of its first new music and world tour featuring members Mark Hoppus , Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge since 2015 with a cheeky video teasing "Edging," the alternative rock band's new single, out Friday.

Posted to social media, the announcement video features Blink-182's signature suggestive humor as a series of everyday individuals seemingly anticipate the band's return. "If I'm being totally honest, I can't stop thinking about them coming," says a woman lounging in a beach chair, before a green-haired, heavily pierced and tattooed punker asks later in the clip, "Could you imagine all three of them coming?"

At the end of the video, text revealing the upcoming tour, album and single appear onscreen while what sounds like a clip from "Edging" plays in the background. "I ain't that cool / A little f---ed in the head / They'll be hanging me quick / When I'm back from the dead / Get the rope," sings the band.

"Edging" marks Blink-182's first new single featuring the complete trio since DeLonge, 46, exited the band in 2015 to focus on his other project, rock band Angels & Airwaves, formed in 2005. Earlier this year, he fueled rumors of his triumphant return, posting a black-and-white throwback photo of the band, which he helped form in 1992, tagging the group in the caption.

However, Hoppus later took to his Discord channel to set the record straight regarding DeLonge's rumored return to the group. "There is no news to share. There is no announcement," wrote the bassist and vocalist before noting a celebratory occasion for the band, which formed in August 1992. "Today is 30 years of blink-182!"

At its 1992 inception, Blink-182 consisted of co-founders DeLonge, Hoppus, 50, and Scott Raynor, who exited the group in 1998. Barker, 46, entered during the making of Blink-182's breakout 1999 Enema of the State album, and they released music and performed as a trio through DeLonge's 2005 exit. Since then, Hoppus and Barker have created music and toured with Matt Skiba, who's seemingly now left the band.

Kicking off on March 11, 2023, at the Imperial GNP festival in Tijuana, Mexico, and continuing its Latin American leg through early April, the reunion tour will go on for nearly a year, featuring North American shows from May through July, European shows from September through October, and a string of dates in Australia and New Zealand in February 2024.

The band's opening acts include Wallows in Latin America, Turnstile in North America, The Story So Far in Europe and Rise Against in Australia and New Zealand.

Earlier this year, Hoppus told PEOPLE that Barker and DeLonge paid him a hospital visit following his stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma diagnosis in April 2021. "It was the first time that all three of us were in the same room in like five years," said the rocker, who's now cancer-free. "It's actually better than it used to be. There was no agenda. There were no lingering grudges. It felt very back to what it should be: three friends sitting in a room."

Blink-182 reuniting for massive 2023 world tour, new song coming Friday

blink 182 tour 2023 songs

After wiping their website and Instagram clean yesterday, seemingly in preparation for some big news, Blink-182 has come through with a major announcement: Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker are reuniting for a massive 2023 world tour.

The trio have also made some new music: Their new song, "Edging," will be out this Friday.

The band made the announcement in a very on-brand double entendre-filled video .

Blink-182's Mark Hoppus shares update after cancer diagnosis: 'I woke up today feeling better'

Blink-182's 2023 reunion tour is a dizzying blend of dirty jokes and pop-punk anthems

blink 182 tour 2023 songs

Blink-182’s first tour with founding member Tom DeLonge in nine years brought the reunited pop-punk veterans back to Phoenix for a sold-out show at Footprint Center on Wednesday, June 14.

It was a breathless 25-song journey through their catalog that ended with their 1997 breakthrough, “Dammit,” bassist Mark Hoppus sending us off into the night with a singalong chorus of “Well I guess this is growing up” while all but daring you to point to any indication that they’ve done much growing up at all.

And Blink fans wouldn’t have it any other way.

They were there for “The Mark, Tom and Travis Show,” as the trio once titled a live recording released at the turn of the century that effectively immortalized the perpetual state of arrested development that had already come to constitute a large part of their stage show.

And yet there were no penis jokes involving 'All the Small Things'

After taking the stage to the piped-in strains of “Also sprach Zarathustra” (used to dramatic effect in Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey” and Elvis Presley’s stage show ), they followed a breathless rendition of “Anthem Part Two” with “The Rock Show” before laying any fear that we were dealing with an older, wiser Blink-182 to rest with a spirited “Family Reunion.”

That’s the one where they run through a string of profanities inspired by George Carlin’s seven dirty words routine and sign off with a frank admission that they’d been enjoying sexual relations with “your mom.”

The thought of having sexual relations with “your mom” is a recurring theme in Blink-182 shows. If they ever make a concept album a la "Tommy," you may safely assume that Tommy is “your mom,” and she is having sex with Blink-182.

It’s right up there with running jokes about the disappointing nature of your bandmate’s genitalia. There were also masturbation jokes and imitations of the noises Elvis Presley and James Hetfield of Metallica might make toward the end of being caught in flagrante delicto.

Celebrate: Juneteenth and the other Elvis are the biggest things happening in Phoenix this weekend

DeLonge also treated fans to an origin story involving roller skates and sexual relations with his bandmates — also wearing roller skates.

It’s what Blink-182 has taught us to expect. And to their credit, that’s exactly what they gave us, interspersed with musical reminders that they’ve also carved out quite a legacy of pop-punk calling cards, from “Dammit” to their latest single, “Edging,” which spent more than 13 weeks at No. 1 on alternative radio while welcoming DeLonge back to the fold.

The biggest Blink-182 songs from 'All the Small Things' to 'I Miss You'

They also hit on staples as essential to an understanding of their place in pop-punk history as “What’s My Age Again?,” “All The Small Things,” “Adam’s Song,” “Man Overboard,” “The Rock Show,” “First Date,” “Feeling This” and “I Miss You.” And they gave their inner Goo Goo Dolls the wheel on the smartphone-waving power ballad “Stay Together for the Kids.”

There were flames shooting out of the floor on their opening song. The first confetti explosion was triggered by “Family Reunion,” three songs in. An inflatable ambulance with a cartoon portrait of the sexy nurse from the cover of “Enema of the State” took flight on “Dumpweed.”

Could Travis Barker be the Keith Moon of the pop-punk generation?

And celebrity drummer Travis Barker spent several songs suspended from the ceiling on his drum riser, flailing away at his kit with the theatrical intensity and precision he displayed throughout the night in an amazing show of force.

If there’s a drummer more deserving of the title “The Keith Moon of the pop-punk generation,” I would love to hear it, but I doubt he would’ve played a more impressive show.

What it means to have Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus back together

DeLonge left Blink-182 in 2015, at which point his bandmates recruited Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio and carried on, releasing two albums: 2016’s "California" and 2019’s "Nine."

I’ve seen that lineup. They were really good. But this is something altogether more in keeping with the spirit of what people think of when they get excited about Blink-182. It’s a little like seeing a Beatles reunion after feeling fairly certain Wings are good enough to get you through the breakup.

Swift City: Why Taylor Swift launching her Eras Tour in Phoenix was such a big deal

There’s this chemistry DeLonge and Hoppus have that’s guaranteed to take you back to where you were the day your inner juvenile delinquent and/or class clown fell in love with Blink-182.

And there’s an authenticity that comes with seeing the trio that gave the world the multiplatinum juvenilia of “Enema of the State” and the even more ridiculously titled “Take Off Your Pants and Jacket” as grown men in their 40s and 50s making penis jokes so you don’t have to.

Mark Hoppus shares the sweet side of Blink-182 reunion story

There’s even a sweet side to the story that precipitated this reunion.

Hoppus had been battling a rare form of cancer that has gone into remission since he made his peace with the man whose genitalia he assured us was extremely small.

“Not very long ago, I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to keep going,” Hoppus explained toward the end of the set.

“I was going through chemotherapy and I couldn’t walk up the stairs of my house without getting out of breath. I didn’t know if I was ever gonna be on stage again. And now, here I am tonight.”

As previously noted, it was really sweet.

The end result was a life-affirming reminder of what this kind of performance can mean to those who came of age with Blink-182, a dizzying blend of penis jokes and songs that hit you squarely in the feels, which, as I’ve come to understand it, is a good deal higher on the body.

It was fun — the kind of fun that makes it hard to care that you were making not-so-subtle variations on those mother jokes in sixth or seventh grade.

For his next project, Tom DeLonge combines his twin passions for electric guitar and expanding the mind – a new signature instrument with Fender .

Among the tweaks, “I’ve streamlined the electronics, added the ‘70s headstock to round out the weight, and chose the matte finish with black hardware, so its look matches its modern feel. This guitar shows my evolution as a player but also has the hallmarks of where I came from and what I’m about.” It’s stocked in four finishes, and priced at US$1,199.99 .

The Starcaster marks the second time DeLonge was worked on a six-string with Fender, following the 2002 rollout of the Tom DeLonge Stratocaster, which was rereleased when the classic lineup reunited in 2022 due to “unprecedented demand,” reads a statement from Fender. One More Time… is Blink-182’s first album with the group’s longtime lineup of drummer Travis Barker, vocalist/bassist Mark Hoppus and DeLonge, since he departed the trio in 2015 for seven years, and the first studio effort from that founding lineup since 2012’s Dogs Eating Dogs EP. The album blasted to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, joining Blink-182’s 2016’s California (with the lineup of Barker, Hoppus and guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba) and 2001’s Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. During his time away from the band, DeLonge’s decades-long U.F.O. studies and efforts to publicize sightings finally got acknowledgement when the U.S. Navy officially released three of the clips he had been brought to attention.

Blink-182’s North American touring schedule continues from late June, followed with shows in the U.K. and Europe in August.

In  a four-star review of the first of their two London shows ,  NME  praised the band for their ability to blend their signature pop-punk attitudes with more heartfelt moments.

“Between songs, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge are an inimitable comic duo, trading jibes over their on-stage mistakes and building collective punchlines with well-oiled timing,” it read.

“But in contrast, their serious moments are profound. ‘Stay Together For The Kids’ serves as a magnificent reminder of Blink’s ability to cut deeper than standard she-broke-my-heart emo fare; ‘Adam’s Song’ becomes especially raw as Hoppus relates it to the decline in his mental health during his cancer treatment.”

Additionally, their new album received similar praise from  NME , who  awarded it three-stars and celebrated it for its “surprisingly touching” moments.

In other news, Matt Skiba has shared one of his biggest regrets from his time in Blink-182.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Family Photos With Son Rocky

Kourtney kardashian and travis barker welcomed son rocky thirteen into their blended family in november. here are all the adorable photos the couple has shared of their 5-month-old baby boy..

Kourtney Kardashian  and  Travis Barker  are all about the small things.

Namely their son  Rocky , who they welcomed in November following a lengthy fertility journey . The baby boy joins their blended family consisting of Kourtney's kids  Mason , 14,  Penelope , 11, and  Reign , 9—who she shares with ex  Scott Disick —and Travis' stepdaughter Atiana , 25, son Landon , 20, and daughter Alabama , 18, from his past marriage to Shanna Moakler .

And though Kourtney and Travis' older kids often appear in their social media posts, they've been taking a more private approach when it comes to Rocky. In fact, the couple—who  tied the knot in 2022 —waited more than a month after Rocky's birth before sharing his first photo .

Since then, the Kardashians star and the Blink-182 drummer have continued to give only glimpses of their son, opting to snap pictures of his tiny hands and feet.

However, that doesn't mean Kourtney is keeping her postpartum journey close to the chest. In early April, she  shared a few words of wisdom to fellow moms  who are also going through the transitional period.

"Your body is beautiful at all stages," the Poosh founder wrote on her Instagram Story. "During pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking, and then the period I find the hardest as our bodies are still adjusting. And if you're breastfeeding, that's a whole other part of it."
