All prices listed in this Website are in U.S. Dollars, unless otherwise specified. Promotions listed in this Website can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Flexible: full refund within a limited period.

For cancellations by Guests, cancellation charges depend on when Island Routes receives notice of the cancellation. Minimum cancellation charges are as follows:

Hotel Guests:

24 hours or less: No Refund

48 hours or less: 50% Cancellation Fee

96 hours or less: 25% Cancellation Fee

96+ hours: Full Refund

Shore Excursions:

96 hours or more: Full Refund

Less than 96 hours: No Refund

G r oup Reservations:

60 days prior to tour date: Full Refund

45 days prior to tour date: 50% Cancellation Fee

30 days prior to tour date: 75% Cancellation fee

Less than 30 days prior to tour date: No Refund

All cancellations of, or changes are subject to applicable restrictions. Island Routes Tours will apply any payments made toward the purchase price against any cancellation charges and will refund any balance remaining after the payment of any charges. In order to receive a refund, if applicable, client must request and receive a cancellation confirmation number. The cancellation charges outlined above are liquidated damages and not a penalty. Holiday periods may be subject to additional cancellation charges. NO REFUNDS OR ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR ANY PORTION OF TOUR OR ATTENDANT SERVICES NOT UTILIZED.

Refund Policy: No refunds or adjustments will be made for any portion of your tour not utilized.

Changes to Reservations: All requested changes to reservations are subject to Island Routes' sole discretion, and any changes must be approved in writing.

PREPAID TOUR & EXCURSION RESERVATIONS

By reserving your tour and excursion, you authorize Island Routes Caribbean Adventures to book reservations for the total reservation price. You agree that your credit card will be charged by Island Routes Caribbean Adventures for the total reservation price.

BANK & CREDIT CARD FEES

Some banks and credit cards impose fees for cross-border transactions. By reserving your tour and excursion on this website, you may see an additional cost/fee appearing on your credit card statement. This fee is solely determined by your Bank and/or Credit Card Company and Island Routes Caribbean Adventures takes no responsibility for these associated costs. If you have any questions about these types of fees applied to your reservation, please contact your bank directly.

Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, do not operate the tours, and for these purposes, the Operators of tours are independent contractors. The Operators of tours are solely responsible for their acts and omissions and Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, assume no responsibility for such acts and omissions, or for any injury, loss, damage, sickness or accidents sustained on any of the tours offered for sale , including but not limited to any that occur on and/or during the tour, as well as before and after as part of and/or during transport to/from the tour ‐ again, to the exclusion of tours identified as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours. Without any exclusion, however, Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, shall not assume any responsibility for injury, loss or damage to any person that voluntarily participates in cliff diving at any location, including but not limited to Dunn's River Falls or Rick's Café, and/or to any person who voluntarily stops as part of and/or during transport to/from a tour at an unintended destination, meaning one that is separate and apart from the scheduled tour and/or destination. Individuals proceeding in such manner assume any and all responsibility and risk, as this is not a recommended activity. Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, in addition shall not assume any responsibility for the loss or damage to money, jewelry, clothing or other valuables that have not been tendered to Management for safe keeping. Guest HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES that Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, their parent corporation, affiliates, subsidiaries, insurers, directors, officers, employees, successors, assigns, agents or representatives, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE to Guest for liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expense in any circumstances, for: (A) ANY PERSONAL INJURIES OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY ANY ACT OR OMISSION ON THE PART OF ANY Guest(s) and/or Operators of tours, excluding tours identified as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours; (B) EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, MENTAL SUFFERING, OR PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY OF ANY KIND; OR (C) ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. This specifically includes but is not limited to liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expense ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY food or drink consumed at third party facilities belonging to third party Operators of tours.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours cannot guarantee that it will satisfy special requests and we are not responsible if such requests are not met.

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Persons with Disabilities: Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours cannot guarantee that transfer vehicles or tour sites are wheelchair accessible. However, if informed, we will endeavor to make the necessary arrangements. This may however come at an additional cost.

VENUE AND CHOICE OF LAW

The undersigned Guest(s) irrevocably consents to and authorizes the use and reproduction by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes, or anyone authorized by Island Routes, of any and all photographic, video and other visual portrayal(s) of the undersigned Guest(s), their child or ward, for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to use in magazines, brochures, flyers, television, internet, and websites displays without further reference or compensation. All rights, title and interest therein (including all worldwide copyrights therein) shall be the sole property of Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes, or anyone authorized by Island Routes, free from any claims by the undersigned Guest(s) and or any person deriving any rights or interest from such Guest, AND each undersigned Guest(s) UNDERSTANDS AND HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY SO AGREES.

COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL LAW

Guest is responsible for knowing, obeying and complying with the laws and regulations of their destination, and neither Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, nor any Tour Supplier, nor the hotel, has any duty to inform or warn Guest about the destination's laws and/or regulations.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Jamaica. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Jamaica, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this Website. Use of this Website is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, this paragraph.

Sandals Ochi Excursions in Jamaica

Although every Sandals all-inclusive resort has tons of complimentary activities onsite, you’ll probably also want to explore what the area has to offer. That’s where Sandals excursions come in. They cost extra but are super easy to arrange through the resort.

You can book Sandal’s excursions online via the Sandals website after you’ve made your reservation, or once you get to the resort. If there’s something you really want to do, we recommend booking it in advance just to be safe.

But what excursions does Sandals offer? They are different at each Sandals resort. In this article, we’ll discuss Sandals Ochi excursions in Jamaica , so read on to learn more.

Excursions at Sandals Ochi, Jamaica

The Caribbean island of Jamaica offers natural beauty, white sand beaches, clear and warm waters, and tons of activities, making it a very popular romantic and honeymoon destination .

Whether you want to party or have a bit of privacy, Sandals Ochi is one of 7 all-inclusive Sandals resorts in Jamaica that offers the best of both worlds.

There are a lot of things to do in Jamaica, so you’ll have a wide variety of excursions to choose from. Sandals Ochi excursions are all managed by Island Routes, but you book and pay through Sandals.

Sandals Ochi excursions include river rafting, shopping in Ocho Rios, ziplining and river tubing, hiking and waterfall tours, ATV tours, deep sea fishing, historic and cultural tours, catamaran cruises, biking and dune buggy tours, horseback riding on the beach, and more. There is also a dolphin encounter experience. While we do not feel good about dolphins in captivity, it is available.

We went on multiple Sandals Ochi excursions during our visit there. We recommend not trying to fit in more than two activities in one day. Dunn’s River Falls is a lot of fun. Going on the catamaran excursion is the preferred way to go, but you can also go with a ziplining or other activity combination.

River tubing and visiting the Blue Hole was really fun as well. ATVs here are not great, as there is too much transportation time and waiting for a short ride. We also don’t recommend the horseback rides for the same reason.

The Luminous Lagoon is also pretty far for what you get. We didn’t do the Rastafarian experience, but lots of people like it.

For a unique experience, relax on a bamboo raft as your captain guides you down the beautiful Martha Brae River in the rainforest. You’ll also get to see rare birds in Jamaica’s largest walk-through aviary, as well as exotic animals like peacocks, whistling ducks, and kinkajou.

Rose Hall Great House Night Experience

This slightly spooky Sandals Ochi excursion takes you through the historic plantation, home to Jamaica’s “White Witch,” on a candle-lit tour complete with storytelling. End the tour in the dungeon, which is now a pub.

Bob Marley Reggae and Culture Tour

This Sandals Ochi excursion takes you to Nine Mile, Bob Marley’s birthplace, where you learn all about the reggae music legend. You’ll also enjoy beautiful scenery in St. Ann and a delicious authentic Jamaican jerk lunch.

Dunn’s River Catamaran Cruise

Dunn’s River Falls is one of the most popular natural sights in Jamaica. Head here on the Red Locks Island Routes Catamaran and enjoy drinks and dancing along the way. Once you get there, climb up the slopes of this 600-foot waterfall and enjoy the amazing beauty.

Treetop Zipline and River Tubing Experience Ocho Rios

Adventurous couples will enjoy this Sandals Ochi excursion, which takes you into the rainforest to zipline hundreds of feet up above the trees. Then you’ll tube down the river as guides point out local wildlife and jungle animals.

Blue Mountain Hiking and Waterfall Tour from Ocho Rios

Enjoy delicious Blue Mountain coffee, then head up 1500 feet on a 2-mile hike up the mountain, which passes through tropical forest. Along the way you’ll get a chance to cool off at beautiful waterfalls.

River Tubing and Blue Hole Experience

The Blue Hole is another of Jamaica’s stunning natural wonders. On this Sandals Ochi excursion, you’ll go for a relaxing ride along the White River before heading there via a 17-th century Spanish bridge and past a historic coconut plantation.

Taste of Jamaica Cooking Class and Estate Tour

Foodies will love this chance to taste authentic Jamaican food and learn how to cook it dishes like Jerk Chicken. You’ll also ride through a thousand-acre estate, explore a tropical bird aviary, and enjoy the lovely scenery.

You can also go on excursions in Jamaica with local guide companies or through online vendors like Get Your Guide and Viator.

In between excursions, you’ll have lots of onsite Sandals Ochi activities to choose from. Activities at Sandals Ochi

In early November 2022 several agents from Marvelous Mouse Travels were invited to stay at Sandals Ochi Beach resort to learn more about the resort. Sandals Ochi Beach resort, located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica offers 16 restaurants and 11 bars making eating/drinking easily the number one activity onsite. However, there is so much more to do at this incredible resort, so let’s dive in to learn more about activities at Sandals Ochi!

During the day, there are so many activities at Sandals Ochi to take part in such as lounging by one of the cove-style beaches or at one of the many pools. Some of the pools have live DJ’s or various entertainment included also. One of the reasons that Sandals resorts stand out among the competition are the additionally inclusions of land and water sports. Land sports include at Sandals Ochi are volleyball, basketball, board games, bocce ball, darts, horseshoes, shuffleboard, table tennis, croquet, rock climbing on the Caribbean’s largest rock-climbing wall, lawn chess, tennis, pool, and squash. You may find work out classes in the pool, at the beach or at one of the two fitness centers on site. You may also use the facilities individually (outside of a class) 24/7. 

If you would like to travel offsite, you can visit the Sandals Golf & Country Club for a challenging 18-hole course. Although the greens fees and transfers are complimentary you do need to be prepared for additional fees as the caddies are not included but are mandatory. Additionally, golf carts, clubs and shoes may be rented at an additional charge. 

Watersports included at Sandals Ochi are kayaking, windsurfing, hobie cats, snorkeling, paddleboards, aqua trikes, glass bottom boats and scuba diving. Yes, that is right, they even include scuba diving! The daily scuba dining that is included is for certified divers and can be reserved upon arrival to the resort. If you are not yet certified, you can sign up for your certification course in advance. The certification through Sandals does come at an additional cost. Snuba, which is a mix between scuba and snorkeling, is available at Sandals Ochi for a cost of $89/person. 

Sandals Ochi does offer additional services/activities at an additional charge. These activities include spa services at one of the two Red Lane Spas, a Catamaran Cruise, Professional photography sessions, additional offsite tours/excursions, private candlelight dinners and more.  

Most of the above activities are available during the day, so let’s also discuss what activities Sandals Ochi offers at night. Theme Nights are so much fun and are currently noted as:

• Monday: Caribbean Carnival Beach Party at Ochi Beach Club; Managers’ Cocktail 
• Tuesday: “Reggae Fusion” at the Amphitheatre; Sandals Select Cocktail & Dinner 
• Wednesday: “Love Hop” White Night & Chocolate Buffet; Silent Headphone Party 
• Thursday: “Sandals Live” Talent Show at the Amphitheatre 
• Friday: “Jamaica Jamboree” at the Amphitheatre/ Ochi Beach Club Pool Party 
• Saturday: “Island Night” Michael Jackson Show at the Amphitheatre 
• Sunday: “Island Romance” and International Show at the Amphitheatre

These theme nights are subject to change and may include more than noted. For example, during a previous visit, we were able to experience the Silent Headphone Party on a Monday night during the Caribbean Carnival Beach Party at the Ochi Beach Club! The silent headphone party was one of my favorite events!

The themed nights and main show are not the only nightlife offered onsite, however. Each night the Ocean Beach Bar features a live DJ, Miss Ethel’s Piano Bar features a live performer from 6pm-2am nightly, Karaoke can be found at 10pm nightly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the Polo Lounge and one of our majority favorites was visiting The Rabbit Hole. The Rabbit Hole requests a secret password to enter, so make sure to ask a Sandals employee during the day. This “hidden” speakeasy bar features live performances but not every evening, so also make sure to check your app or ask an employee for the entertainment schedule upon arrival. All these nightly entertainment options are included when you stay at Sandals Ochi!

This adults-only, all-inclusive  Sandals resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica , has both beachfront accommodations and digs secluded in the jungle. Situated amid the trees, the Riviera villas and Great House guest rooms feature wooden deck chairs that overlook 98 private or semi-private swimming pools. Every accommodation includes a king-sized bed, a plasma TV, Red Lane Spa toiletries and a private balcony or patio. Booking a room at this Sandals property grants you complimentary green fees at the nearby Sandals Golf & Country Club's 18-hole golf course, plus access to a Red Lane Spa. Overall, vacationers praise the property's friendly staff and highly recommend splurging for a room with butler service. However, many lamented the on-site dining venues. Although travelers have access to 16 eateries (plus five additional restaurants at nearby Sandals Royal Plantation ), many said the cuisine served at most of the dining outposts was not up to par. Others caution that several property amenities are unavailable while the resort undergoes renovations.

The Southern Girl Travel Guide to Sandals Ochi Beach!

You probably know by now that we’re big fans of the Sandals family of resorts across the Caribbean.

If you read our last guide to Sandals Royal Plantation, you’ll know that one of the reasons we are such big fans of Royal Planation (one of Sandals smallest resorts at only 74 rooms) is its proximity to one of Sandals’ largest resorts, Sandals Ochi Beach.

Ochi Beach features a variety of rooms types, both on the beach and tucked into the hillsides of Ocho Rios, as well as 16 separate and distinct restaurants, 11 bars, the Sandals Golf and Country Club, and a few special surprises.

Today, in our next installment of the  Southern Girl Travel Guides to Sandals!   we’re featuring Sandals Ochi Beach.

Where is Sandal Ochi Beach? Where is Ocho Rios?

We’ve written extensively about how the Montego Bay, Jamaica area can be the perfect spot for a Caribbean getaway.

With resorts like Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Royal Caribbean only a few minutes from the airport, you can lounge on a Jamaican beach less than four hours after taking off from most airports in the Southeast.

If you’re ready to step out a little further into Jamaica, Ochi Beach  is a perfect choice as Ocho Rios is just over an hours’ drive from Montego Bay, east along the coast.

The drive itself is part of the fun.

Transfers from the airport are included and you’ll likely get the fun of a stop at one of Jamaica’s famous roadside jerk shacks. The views of the ocean along the way are magnificent!

A quick note on flying into Jamaica: When headed to Ochi Beach, you’ll be flying into the Sangster International Airport. Sangster is one of the largest and busiest airports in the Caribbean and getting through customs and immigration can be a bear – we always use and we HIGHLY recommend that all our clients utilize the services of Club Mobay .

Club Mobay  is an arrival and departure club/service whose representatives will meet you at your arrival gate, see you safely through customs and immigration, and settle you into their arrival lounge for a drink or two before they connect you with your ground transportation.

They’ll do the same thing in reverse when it’s time for you to (sadly) leave Jamaica.  Club Mobay’s parent company, VIP Attractions, also operates a similar service at Kingston’s airport, known as Club Kingston. 

Sandals’ own private arrival lounge is right beside the Club Mobay arrival lounge at Sangster so you’ll be right where you need to be.

If you are using Club Mobay for your arrival, you can pretty easily enjoy both lounges!

This would be a good time to mention the Sandals/Beaches arrival lounge at Sangster.

It’s a cozy spot to enjoy those first few minutes of your all-inclusive experience. The lounge provides a comfortable wait for your transfer to Ocho Rios.

You’ll have places to sit, relax, and enjoy a beer and maybe some rum punch (all are included). Make sure to pick up a copy of the Gleaner – the nearly 200 year-old Jamaican newspaper – and see what’s happening around the island.

You’ll be alerted when your ride is ready and in another hour or so you’ll be pulling up at Sandals Ochi Beach.

You’ll have your choice when staying at Sandals Ochi Beach of accommodations on the beach or further up the hillside from the ocean. Here’s a few more official quotes from Sandals on the choice of surroundings at Ochi Beach:

On the beach:

In the secluded hillside above:

Tucked naturally into the hillside, the All-Butler Village is a private enclave of villas that includes the exclusive services of a dedicated personal butler trained by the prestigious Guild of Professional English Butlers.

The Butler Villas on the hillside above the beach are, of course, home to a collection of accommodations that come with the services of one of Sandals specially trained butlers, a treat that will make your stay that much more special.

While butler service is exclusive to the Villas, nearly everything else at Ochi really is included! Sandals is one of the originators of all-inclusive and we believe they do it extremely well.

Few Thoughts on All-Inclusive:  If you haven’t already, read our  Southern Girl Travel Guide to Sandals .

You’ll learn more about what all-inclusive means at Sandals.  You’ll be pleased.  At Sandals (unlike some other all-inclusive resorts) all-inclusive means that nearly every thing really is included in the price of your stay.

All your food and drink will be included. We don’t mean just well-brand liquors either. Everything at the bar is included. The only exception we know of is that some Sandals restaurants will offer more exclusive wines at an extra charge, but we have experienced no pressure to purchase.

We have checked out from a week’s stay at Sandals with absolutely no additional charges and you can, too.

Tips are not allowed unless you are in a butler suite – and even then they are not necessary, but you will likely want to reward the amazing service you will receive. Off-resort you’ll want to be prepared to tip as you would anywhere (we’ve noticed some serious pressure to tip in the airport).

Off-resort excursions do cost extra as do a few other things.  Let us know what you’re interested in and we’ll give you all the details .

What are the rooms really like at Ochi?

Sandals is famous for a wide range of room types and categories. At the writing of this guide (February 2018) Sandals has 4 separate room levels at Ochi, with the most affordable rooms being the Great House Luxury room, and the most extravagant being the Butler Villa with 4 One-Bedroom Suites and Private Pool and the Butler Village Honeymoon Romeo & Juliet One Bedroom Villa Suite with Private Pool Sanctuary.

Food & Drink!

Now for our favorite part of Sandals travel – the food and the drink!

Ochi is a little different than many Sandals resorts. Because of its scale, Ochi boasts 16 separate and distinct restaurants! And because of that number, instead of writing a little about each of them here, we are going to refer you to Sandals’ official website for all the details and feature a few of our favorites here.

Before we jump in here are some things to remember on  dress codes and reservations:

Dress Codes 

The dress codes are not at all strict, but they do matter.

Resort casual   includes dress shorts or jeans. Any swimwear must be covered and no bare feet.

Sandals considers  resort evening  to include elegant wear with dress trousers for men, no t-shirts or sleeveless shirts, and dress shoes. Again, the dress codes are enforced, especially resort evening. Men, watch that shoe requirement and make sure to bring a pair of decent shoes in addition to those flip flops and tennis shoes!

Reservations

Many of the popular restaurants can get rather busy at Sandals and we recommend planning what restaurants you would like to try before your travels. Make a list and meet with the concierge immediately upon your arrival to make reservations.

Don’t wait, especially when traveling during peak times.

There’s nothing quite like the dining experience at Soy Sushi Bar, a quaint restaurant tucked behind bamboo fronds and adorned with unique Oriental décor, dim lighting, and fresh, delectable sushi. Giving guests a taste of the Far East with traditional and contemporary sushi creations, Soy is named after soy sauce, a customary ingredient in the art of sushi. This remarkable sushi house offers exciting flavors and exotic sushi creations made-to-order. Chefs skillfully prepare sushi using only the freshest ingredients. Guests can enjoy a nightcap or pre-dinner cocktail near the stone-lined fire pits, and inside, will discover great ambiance with the stone statues, pendant lighting, and mahogany furniture. When it comes to sushi, Soy has plenty of answers. Sample delicacies like the Orange Blossom, a guest favorite with tuna, crabmeat, and avocado rolled with salmon and topped with Tobiko, mango sauce and unagi sauce. The bar area is popular with groups while the intimate booths create the perfect setting for a romantic evening for two to celebrate a special occasion. With a style that is just as diversified as the inspiring sushi palate, chefs of Soy are eager to present guests with varying flavors of the Far East and share the essence of a consistent house style that is elegantly balanced through their splendid selection of daily specials, soups, sushi, sashimi, and sake.

Soy really is one of our favorite spots at Ochi. Jamaica is a very long way from Japan, but the sushi was surprisingly good, the atmosphere was terrific, and we found ourselves eating supper one night and stopping in for a snack and a drink every other night we visited Ochi.

The staff remembered us on every visit and Soy will be on our short list for our next visit to Ochi.

Neptune, the Roman god of water and the sea, is one of the most well known deities of Roman mythology. It’s said that his powers are at the core of Neptune’s, our Mediterranean seafood restaurant – and after dining here, you just might believe the old tale rings true. For years, the chefs of Neptune’s have made it their mission to provide the most authentic reflection of Mediterranean heritage through robust menu offerings and a sundry setting. From the splendor of the rustic, open-air restaurant design, to the beauty of the turquoise sea, guests are offered a true, coastal Mediterranean experience directly on the beach, against the backdrop of the beautiful Jamaican Riviera. With casual European elegance, the Neptune-blessed cuisine highlights the best in Mediterranean fare. Eggplant, artichokes, squash, tomatoes, legumes, onions, mushrooms, okra, cucumbers, and herbs are used to embellish three course meals of fresh seafood such as lobster, mussels, octopus, shrimp, salmon, tuna. Traditional delights such as feta lamb kebabs, tzatkiki, and saffron-infused Bouillabaisse are tantalizing temptations. You’ll marvel at sea vistas just within reach, the sweeping views, the inviting, laid back atmosphere, and the divine desserts; but most of all, you’ll laud enticing cuisine said to be touched by a god.

Don’t miss Neptune’s. The food is great and dining on the beach really is a great experience!

Kelly’s Dockside

Discover Pier Excellence. With an unmatched ambience and irresistibly luscious fare, Kelly’s Dockside is the ultimate in dining al fresco. You’ll marvel at the spectacular views, the lantern lighting, and the delectable cuisine of this over-the-water restaurant. Kelly’s is not only situated in an ideal location, but it also boasts sumptuous delights from land and sea that are just as idyllic. It won’t take long to realize the charm of this serene, seaside bar and grill…and be sure to take a romantic stroll to the end of the pier to view the fiery Ocho Rios sunset. But it’s the famous Kelly’s Sampler that typically steals the limelight with its appetizing combination of jerk chicken wings, conch fritters, beef burritos, marinated feta with sun-dried tomatoes, cured Italian meats, artichokes, and fried rice noodles with marinated vegetables. The beautiful restaurant lit up by lanterns and the Caribbean sun, mixed with mouthwatering culinary delights and the sound of the waves softly caressing the sand, presents guests with a most romantic evening under the starry sky. And best of all, guests can indulge in selections from the innovative Kelly’s menu. From perfectly seasoned meats and seafood, to delectable sides and desserts, flavorful combinations with the sauces to accompany them abound. Guests rave about the juicy filet mignon, the sizzling shrimp, and the spicy salmon. With an amazing sunset, gorgeous views, and the best steak and seafood around, it doesn’t get much better than Kelly’s Dockside, a place you’ll want to brag about.

Where food and drink is concerned, Ochi is unique among Sandals and apparently among resorts across the Caribbean as it has a special speakeasy-style bar/nightclub call the Rabbit Hole.

How about what’s not included?

Of course, once you leave the resort and venture into Ocho Rios, you’re back to the real world where everything is not included. While that’s always an option, we prefer to spend most of our time hanging out at the resort and relaxing.

There are, however, a few options you really should consider for an extra charge.

Sandals Red Lane Spas are available at every resort.  At Sandals Ochi Beach, you can enjoy a number of different treatments including private massages along the beach.  Contact us for all the details .

Sandals features  Island Routes  for off-resort excursions.  There are a ton of choices that – if you like – will let you spend time exploring even the interior of Jamaica, making it back to Ochi Beach for a relaxing evening.
