Get out on the water for an exciting kayaking and snorkelling adventure around the Gold Coast's Broadwater and iconic Wave break Island. For about two hours, you'll be paddling across crystal blue water, exploring the wilderness of Wave Break Island, snorkelling with tropical marine life, and enjoying amazing views of the city skyline.

This is an action-packed couple of hours that will show you the best of what the Gold Coast waterways have to offer. No experience is required, and the staff will set you up with all the practical and safety knowledge you need to take off on your guided kayak journey. Departing from Broadwater, you'll paddle across to Wave Break Island, looking out for marine life like dolphins, turtles and stingrays along the way. Pull up to shore and after a short bush walk over to the reef, you'll dive in and snorkel around the colourful marine world. Enjoy a delicious snack to re-energise and soak up the city views before you finish off with your paddle back across the Broadwater.

What to Bring/Wear

Sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, swimwear, protective UV+ clothing and appropriate shoes suitable for sand walking. No toilets available. Please bring a reusable water bottle (think green!) If you suffer from asthma, diabetes or allergies please bring your own medication. We do not require a printed voucher.

• Times are 7:30am, 10:30am & 1:30pm every day.
• This tour is weather dependant and requires a minimum number of participants to operate. In the case this number is not fulfilled or weather is unfavourable, participants will be contacted and offered alternate rescheduling options
• A 12% surcharge applies on Sundays and Public Holidays

Please note that we are not a shop, this is where all of our tours depart from. The street numbers previously mentioned are only to be used as a reference point.

• This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

No kayaking experience necessary as a quick demo is provided before heading out. We had perfect weather and saw beautiful fish while out snorkelling. The tour guide was fantastic with a wealth of knowledge about the area. We had time to explore, kick back and relax, and were later surprised with a delicious lunch that catered to our dietary needs, such a thoughtful touch. They even bought a cake and got the group to join in and celebrate my partner’s birthday. Was then contacted to say that the weather was going to be bad on the new day and would we be happy to change to a shorter tour which we said yes to. On the morning we arrived at the time stated but no van was there, hadn't received any email with regard to the tour being cancelled. Finally resorted to calling and was told on the phone it was cancelled and they allegedly emailed me at 9am, I received no email about this tour being cancelled. I understand they can't control the weather and that's not what the 2 stars is for, they got 2 stars because they didn't bother getting in touch and we ended up travelling to the meeting point which was a waste if fuel and time. The tour guides were very engaging and enthusiastic! It was a fun time and time went by very fast. We went on a day with high tides and though challenging it wasn’t impossible feeling

The coach was particularly patient and snorkeled for a long time. At that time, there was another travel agency who arrived later than us, but left much earlier than us. Our coach did not urge us, but instead added a lot of time. After snorkeling, there are hot drinks and snacks to replenish calories.

The best kayak and snorkeling, we ever had and our guide from South America is doing a great job, must try in Gold Cost.

Not overall the experience I had hoped for, maximum actual kayaking we did was for barely an hour, snorkelling spot was sparse, saw the odd fish. Was over in 2 hours. Guide was nice & friendly. Not value for money either.

The kayaking was a lot of fun and some beautiful scenery was to be had. The snorkelling part was also good, but it was a little bit choppy on the water, so it made it a little trickier to see underwater. We had some snacks on the beach before heading back. • One ticket per booking.

Cancellable up to 24 hours before the travel date (local supplier time) for a full refund. A 100% cancellation penalty applies for cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the start time.

• For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
• Suplier may cancel the activity on account of bad weather conditions.
• Suplier may cancel the activity due to too few participants.
• Cancel at least 1 day before activity starts in Australia/Brisbane time.
• 100 % refund if cancelled on time.
