What time do tours start and how often do buses run.

Our island tours run once per day and start with pickups. Your pickup time can vary based on your location. Pick-ups are usually between 8:30 am and 10:00 am.  The island bus tour kicks off at 9:30 am after all passengers have been picked up.

How long does the island tour take?

The island tour can run between 6 - 6.5 hours and is a half-day tour.

What is the child ticketing policy?

Child tickets are available for children aged between 2 and 12 years. Children aged 2 years and under may travel free of charge and will not require the use of a seat. Children aged 12 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Are accommodations available for persons with a wheelchair?

Unfortunately, our vehicles are not equipped to handle persons who require wheelchair access.

Is lunch included in this tour?

Unfortunately, for our small family-run business our business model does not include served meals. Serving meals to large groups can become complicated (i.e. personal preferences, allergies, etc.) However, we have partnered with a few local food hotspots for our lunch stop in Speightown (eg. Fisherman's Pub), which serves a wide array of local authentic bites, street food, and lunch cuisine.

Can I change the date of my bus tour?

Yes. If there is availability we are happy to update your date. Change requests should be made a full day before the day of the tour or  24hrs before the day of the tour.

The unique Music Bus Tour combines the sweet sweet sounds of Caribbean Music with Barbados’ best beaches, so don’t forget your swimwear! On this tour you learn the interesting history and development of the Caribbean Sound throughout the years in an interactive, fun filled way. Learn of Spouge and Banja and it’s evolution into Calypso and Soca as we know it today. Hear of our most famous musicians like The Merrymen from Barbados, Harry Belafonte from Jamaica and Mighty Sparrow from Trinidad to today’s Lil Rick, Rupee and Bunji Garlin.

As you take in the rich history of the Caribbean’s music, enjoy the drive to St. John’s Parish Church which offers unrivalled views from the North to the East of the island. As you roam around the property, feel free to stop by the cemetery to see if you spot some of the interesting graves like Thomas Hughes who was buried standing up or Ferdinando Paleologus, a descendant of Emperor Constantine the Great. Then it’s off to East Point Lighthouse or Ragged Point Lighthouse, located in St. Philip, which offers breathtaking views of the rugged Atlantic Ocean. East Point Lighthouse was the third of four lighthouses built on the island in 1875 and while they are no longer active, they all offer spectacular views out to sea.

After, hop back on board and grab your seat as we make our way to the quaint Bottom Bay Beach! Semi-enclosed by high coral cliffs, Bottom Bay offers a secluded spot to dip your toes in the water. Capture amazing photos as you explore from atop the cliffs or get up close to the beautiful turquoise water. After your exploration, it’s time to hit the off-the-beaten-track beach, Shark Hole! This tiny intimate bay, set into the coral cliffs is great for taking a dip and paddling around with the kids.

Finally, we’ll head to the last two beaches, Foul Bay and Miami Beach. Foul Bay, originally named Fowl Bay, gained its name due to the large amount of migrating birds that nested in the area. Offering wide expanses of powdery, white sand and shady casuarina trees, Foul Bay is perfect for boogie boarding and taking a dip in the shallow water. 

If you’re up for a swim, Miami Beach is your spot! This popular beach with locals and tourists, offers calmer waters on the Western side and on the East, slightly larger swells for those who appreciate a little more excitement.

Grab your friends, your bathing suit and sunscreen as you groove to the diaspora’s greatest hits, hit the best beaches and indulge in our world famous Rum Punch all on the amazing Music Bus Tour!
