Meet at The Trailhead

After booking your adventure you will receive directions to the trailhead located just 15 minutes from Bend and 20 minutes from Sunriver.

When you arrive, we will have your ATV Rental or Self Guided Tour prepped and ready for your adventure.

We’ll walk you through the GPS system pointing out all of the Hidden Caves, Slot Caynons, Lava Fields, and Viewpoints you’ll want to check out on your ride.

After a thorough walkthrough of operating the ATV and getting fitted for helmets and goggles your ready for your adventure!

Driving The ATV

All of our ATV Rentals are New Polaris RZR XP1000 4 Seaters.

You will feel confortable driving the ATV from the moment you sit inside. Operation of the Polaris ATVs are very similar to a standard automobile.

Each machine has a GPS tablet mounted at the top center of the vehicle for easy viewing from either the driver or passenger.

All of our vehicles are automatic transmission and power steering making it incredibly easy to operate even if you’ve never drove an ATV before.

Choosing Between the 4-hour and 8-hour adventure

This is our most common question before booking. You can see most of the points of interest in the 4-hour timeframe if you take shortcuts and don’t spend a lot of time at the caves. Most of our customers prefer spending a little bit more full-day (8-hour) adventure. You can pack a lunch and spend the day exploring at your own pace. You can also call for an early pickup if you don’t want o to be out all day.

What Age Restrictions Are There?

We’ve had guests ranging from 4 years old to 84 years old. When it comes to kids, we follow state law which says if they use a car seat in a vehicle then they should be in a car seat in the ATV. Usually, they don’t need a car seat if they are around 40″ tall.

Occasionally around town, you’ll hear Bend referred to as “Beervana” or “Beertown USA,” and for good reason. Bend has one of the highest concentrations of craft breweries in the country, boasting a brewery for every 3,000 residents. The Bend Ale Trail takes participants through a mind-boggling 24 different breweries across town (and beyond) in seven distinct territories. This is less of a guided tour, and more of a checklist that you can mark off throughout your stay in Bend. Each stop on this massive excursion has a paired recommended activity; a stop at Monkless Belgian Ales near the Old Mill pairs well with a quick kayak tour of the nearby Deschutes River, for example. Using these pairings, visitors can plan their trip to Bend around both trying new brews and mixing things up with outdoor activities. Each stop also comes with a chance to get a pass on your beer passport, and each complete territory sampled provides guests with surprise prizes. To keep things responsible, the Bend Ale Trail also rewards designated drivers with a prize of their own.

The Cycle Pub of Bend offers a combination of two Bend favorites: cycling and drinking. If you’re ready to leave the city limits and check out all that amazing mountain biking you’ve heard so much about, check out Cog Wild , a tour company offering guided rides through scenic mountain trails (May to October, depending on snowpack). A family business, Cog Wild offers guided tours for riders of all ages and skill levels, and even offers some tours that are specifically designed to teach a certain skill; whether that be riding switchbacks, cornering with some speed or jumping the bike through the air, your guide will help you learn along the way. A particularly exciting ride, and one that your friends will be impressed with, is the tour that takes riders all the way from Mount Bachelor to Bend. This ride is up to six hours in length and can be catered to your group’s skill level.
