College of Staten Island In-Person Infosessions and Campus Tours

The College of Staten Island is pleased to offer in-person tours of our magnificent campus with an information session. Tours are available Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3:00 pm and select Saturdays/Sundays at 10:00 am.

Live Virtual Infosessions are conducted every Tuesday at 7:00 pm and Thursday at 4:00pm. Reservations required—we will send a written confirmation via email. To make a reservation, please select from the following:

Special Group Tours and Virtual Infosessions

High schools and community based organizations.

The Office of Recruitment and Admissions is presently conducting limited in-person group tours and virtual infosessions for schools and community based organizations (students and their instructors/counselors). Visits last for approximately 35 minutes (virtual) or 90 minutes (in-person), and include a tailored information session. Currently, we are able to accommodate groups of up to 100 students maximum (virtually) and 30 students (in-person). 

On-campus group tour reservations are generally accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis for late September through December, and March through July.

Tour de France 2024: How to watch the cycling Super Bowl, full schedule, livestream info and more

The 111th Tour de France begins in Florence, Italy this Saturday, June 29. The annual long-distance race will bring together some of the biggest names in cycling, including two-time defending champion Jonas Vingegaard, Tadej Pogačar, Primož Roglič, Remco Evenepoel, Juan Ayuso, Carlos Rodríguez, Adam Yates, João Almeida and Matteo Jorgenson. The Tour De France will cover 2,170 miles across 21 days of racing, finishing in Nice on July 21. This year's Tour will be the first ever to not finish in Paris (due to the 2024 Olympics).

The race got started in Italy this year, but the riders are now cycling through France. Yury Gagarin Cosmonauts Training Centre (Zvezdny Gorodok - Star Town) (7 hours)

The Yuri A. Gagarin State Scientific Research-and-Testing Cosmonaut Training Center is a Russian training facility responsible for training cosmonauts for their space missions. It is in Star City of Moscow Oblast, a name which may refer to the facility itself or to its grounds. (Read more about Yury Gagarin Cosmonauts training center )

The secret Star City was built to train Soviet cosmonauts, including Yuri Gagarin, the 1st man in space. Many other famous Russian cosmonauts trained here with Gagarin: German Titov, Valentina Tereshkova, the first female cosmonaut, and Alexei Leonov, the first cosmonaut to exit the spaceship into space . The best facilities were built for them: the world’s largest centrifuge and hydro laboratory. Many cosmonauts from other countries (USA, Japan, Germany and many others) also have trained here together with Soviet Russian cosmonauts. On this Star (Space) City Tour you will see:

Tour de France standings: Race outlook after Stage 9

The 2024 Tour de France nears its midway point after Sunday's Stage 9, and Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar continues to establish his lead.

Pogačar will still wear the yellow jersey on Tuesday for Stage 10 following the riders' day off on Monday, though it was Frenchman Anthony Turgis who won the day on Sunday. Turgis crossed the line in Troyes at 04:19:43 at the head of a leading group to win the race's gravel stage.

Eritrean rider and Stage 8 winner Biniam Girmay also maintained his lead in the points classification for a fifth straight day.
