It was an absolutely amazing night! I loved every minute. Enrique was just awesome and so damn sweet. He is just the bestest. Can't wait for him to come back already. It was a great experience to be able to go to his concert. He really loves his fans and you can see it. He is also the most humble person ever. Wish I could have at least touched him. That would have defenitely made my whole year. Why can't he have more concerts in the UK? And also maybe backstage passes?

Enrique Iglesias reveals when his final album will be released

Enrique Iglesias says that “since day one” he’s enjoyed getting up close and personal with his fans.

“I used to get people that I didn’t know from the audience... up on stage, security goes crazy and it drives them insane,” the singer tells TODAY.com about serenading his fans during his shows. “I’ve always done that since day one. I think when you write a song, something that’s very personal, if you could be serenading one person that has so much emotions going through their mind and so happy to be next to you, you’re singing a song they like, it’s just magical.”

It's no secret that Iglesias fans love getting as close to the singer as possible. However, sometimes fans can get too personal — even sneaking a kiss, lunging at him and not letting go.

For Iglesias, he says he enjoys seeing how someone will react when he chooses them from a crowd — but notes it could go two ways. “Sometimes you get somebody on stage, some people will just freeze, some people will just act crazy, jumping up and down,” he says. “I personally love that. I’m going to start doing that on this tour.”

The way to capture Iglesias' attention

Fans of the “Bailando” crooner will get a chance to catch the singer’s attention during his current tour. Since mid-October, Iglesias has been touring with Ricky Martin and Pitbull for “The Trilogy Tour.”

A month into the concerts, it was announced that the tour was being extended with 18 new shows taking place in 2024. Iglesias couldn’t be happier.

Enrique Iglesias performs during "The Trilogy Tour" at Scotiabank Arena on Oct. 17, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario.

Iglesias and Pitbull previously went on tour in 2017. Iglesias and Martin also teamed up in 2021 for their own series of concerts.

While reminiscing about his early concerts and the fans going wild, he says he’s thinking about bringing fans up on stage again. So how can one lucky fan capture his attention?

“When you’re in an arena, with thousands of people, I think what makes a good serenade is when you can focus on one person,” he says. “There’s specific moments when you see someone that captivates you and it might be a movement or a look on their face.”

Iglesias is ready to release his final album

Three decades into his successful and global career, Iglesias is set to release his final album. Yes, his last one.

Back in 2021, the Grammy winner announced that he would only be releasing two more albums. “Final (Vol. 1)” was his 11th studio album and dropped in September of that year.

While chatting with TODAY.com, Iglesias confirmed that “Final (Vol. 2)” is completed, it will, in fact, be his last album and be released next year.

“It’s finished. It’s actually coming out in February,” he shares. “It’s completely finished. What I want to do is shoot one or two videos right before the second leg on the tour and launch it.”

“I’ve been working on this album for quite a bunch of years. And for me it was always like I said, my final album... this is it,” he continues. “I don’t think — no, I know , I won’t be doing any more albums.”

He released the first “Vol. 2” single, “Así Es La Vida” featuring Maria Beccera, in October.

Iglesias notes that it doesn’t mean he’s not going to continue making music. He will still release singles and work on music. “For me, in my life, I think this is that final one.”

In the meantime, check out how you can catch Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin and Pitbull on tour with the newly-added 2024 “The Trilogy Tour” dates and the remaining 2023 shows.

LIVE REVIEW: The Trilogy Tour 2023

Enrique iglesias, ricky martin, and pitbull at madison square garden in new york city on october 27 th , 2023.

Global Latin music powerhouses Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, and Pitbull who are known for their incredible blends and versatility of musical genres, joined forces with a one-of-a-kind arena run across North America this fall. For the first time ever, they share the stage for The Trilogy Tour featuring three unique headlining sets from each artist. Just as Halloween is descending upon tri-state area these megastars came to New York City for a pair of sold out shows at the Worlds Most Famous Arena. With the buzz filling up the Madison Square Garden from the Thursdays show, the crowd of fans flowed in for the second night.

Written by Andris Jansons

All three stars are rotating their turn for each night’s show. On this Fridays’ night the opening honors fell on yesterdays closing act Pitbull. While my personal knowledge on musical matters may fell short for an objective judgement, without any hesitation I can state that Pitbulls and his team’s performance packed so much energy that it could power the arena for a full night. Banger after a banger came raining down on the excited fans. There was no slowdown whatsoever, dancing and jumping was constant. For a rock fan as myself, I certainly appreciated intros from a lot of rock bands including Bon Jovi “Living On A Prayer”.

Throughout his career Pitbull has collaborated with a lot of modern day chart topping superstars and on many occasions the big screen displayed J-Lo, Marc Anthony, Usher and many others.

Pitbull also spoke at length about his roots, where he comes from and for what he is grateful. The biggest thanks was given to his teacher Hope Martinez that greatly influenced his life, and now he gives it back. He helped start a Tuition-Free Public charter for middle and high school called Sports Leadership and Management (SLAM!), which opened in 2013 in Miami’s Little Havana, the neighborhood where Pitbull grew up.

Enrique Iglesias came next. Yeah, all the ladies were screaming too loud, I don’t even remember what I was thinking. Oh yeah, I was taking pictures. So, yes, one of the biggest heartthrobs of the century opened up his set with “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)”. To make the evening more steamy the last verse he sang was … tonight I’m fucking you … . All the grandest of the big hits kept raining down on the fans – Hero, Be With You, Bailamos, Escape, Bailando and others.

Enrique set was more about the songs, the message, and a bit less dancing. Nonetheless the excitement came from the melody and sensuality.

The honors of closing the night fell on Ricky Martin. From my perspective his performance was a sort of combination of two previous ones (of course it is clearly subjective opinion). It was full of energy and dancing and packed a punch in sensuality. Who am I kidding, Ricky is just as much of a heartthrob as Enrique. So, yeah, it was a steamy Latin night. All his biggest hits got a proper attention – María, Shake Your Bon-Bon, She Bangs and of course Livin’ la Vida Loca. Well, personally, the last song reminds me of Shrek …. sorry Ricky, if you are reading this, I’m very sorry about that.

So, what a rock and metal music guy can take home from this hot and steamy Latin music show. A lot of positive energy. Each artist has a live band performing with them, the music is exciting, and the atmosphere is exhilarating. So, yes, I liked it. The tour will continue in Brooklyn tonight and then take a swing towards West. You still have plenty of time to catch up with this amazing spectacle. You can try you luck at here while ticket supplies last.

Traffic leading to the three prior Uber pickup locations 1) Zone A, previously located on Wood Street & Washington Blvd. near Lot A, 2) Zone D, previously located on Monroe Street & S. Paulina Street near Lot D and 3) Zone F, previously located on Monroe Street & Seeley Ave. near Lot F will now be directed towards the one new Uber Zone in Lot E.

What is the location of the Uber Zone? The new Uber Zone at the United Center is located on the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street. Fans will enter and exit through the sidewalk entrance located on Madison Street and cars will enter the lot by turning into the Uber Zone from Madison Street. Cars will exit on Warren Blvd.

What are the hours of operation? On event days, the Uber Zone is open two hours prior to games, concerts and events and will remain open up to one hour after each event. On non-event days, the Uber Zone will be closed and Uber rides will be dropped off near the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street outside of the Uber Zone.

What is the pickup process for fans?

  • Using the Uber app, fans inside the United Center will call an Uber ride.
  • Guests will then head to the new Uber Zone located at the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street in front of the United Center.
  • When arriving, fans will show the Uber attendant the lane number their driver is in.
  • Fans will be shown the location where their Uber vehicle is located to start their next journey.

What is the dropoff process for fans? When Uber drivers arrive with guests at the United Center, they will be instructed to pull into the Uber Zone from the Madison Street side to drop off fans. Once exiting the vehicle, guests will walk out of the main entrance located on the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street. Guests can cross the street to the United Center and are encouraged to enter through the East Atrium.

Enrique Iglesias performs on stage during The Trilogy Tour at Rogers Arena on Dec. 10, 2023 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Enrique Iglesias is back on the top 10 on Billboard ’s Latin Pop Albums chart as his 12th studio album, Final, Vol. 2, debuts at No. 6 on the April 13-dated ranking.

The album, released March 29, via Sony Music Latin , marks the global pop singer’s final album, as reported, and brings together a diverse display of collaborators and genres, flexing through his classic pop, reggae-pop, bachata, and even a pop English-language collab with country singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert.

Enrique Iglesias Drops ‘Final, Vol. 2’ Feat. Belinda, El Alfa & More: Stream…

Trending on billboard.

Of Final, Vol. 2’ s first-week sum, streaming activity provides 2,000 units, which equates to 2.47million official on-demand U.S. audio and video streams of the album’s songs. Traditional album sales contribute 1,000 units, with the remaining balance owed to a negligible amount of track-equivalent album units.

On Latin Pop Albums (as well as Top Latin Albums) one unit equals to one album sale, 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams for a song on the album.

With Final, Vol. 2 , Iglesias scores his 13th top 10 and first since the set’s prequel, Final (Vol. 1) which took him to a No. 2 debut in 2021. In total, nine out of those top 10 albums hit No. 1 on Latin Pop Albums, including the 33-week champ Sex and Love in 2014.The latter ties with Juan Gabriel’s Los Duo 2 for the sixth-most weeks atop Latin Pop Albums since the tally launched in 1985.

Elsewhere, Final, Vol. 2 opens at No. 47 on Top Latin Albums , his 13th career entry there.

Final, Vol. 2 was preceded by three songs across Billboard’s charts, starting with the bachata “Así Es La Vida,” with Maria Becerra, which topped Tropical Airplay for eight consecutive weeks and earned Iglesias a first champ since “Bailando” in 2014.

Further, with “Fría,” with Youtuel, Iglesias earned his highest start on Latin Pop Airplay, with a No. 5 peak (March 16-dated ranking), since “Me Pasé,” featuring Farruko, for one week on top in 2021.

At Tampa concert, Madonna reminds us why she’s the queen

  • Maggie Duffy Times staff

TAMPA — She kept us waiting for hours in Amalie Arena.

But once Madonna took the stage a full two hours past the scheduled start of the 8:30 p.m. show, that didn’t matter. For the next two hours, the Queen of Pop showed us why she owns the title, and the multi-generational crowd gave back just as much energy.

DJ Mary Mac 5 Star set the vibe with a lively set. Then Bob the Drag Queen, dressed up like Marie Antoinette, got the crowd even more hyped as he introduced Madonna.

The singer’s Celebration Tour includes hits from the past four decades — the entirety of Madonna’s career — and features a troupe of dancers surrounding Madonna and working the stage, which had a long runway and elements suspended from the ceiling. Screens flashed video montages of photographs, artwork, scenes of New York City.

The tour was postponed last summer after Madonna suffered a severe bacterial infection that led to her being in a medically-induced coma for 48 hours . It’s pretty impressive that she’s bounced back relatively quickly.

After performing “Nothing Really Matters” — a song about how having children changed her life — alone on the stage, she was joined by dancers dressed as early 1980s punks for “Everybody” and “Into the Groove.”

Next, Madge grabbed an electric guitar and took us back to the iconic New York City punk club CBGB, where she first performed “Burning Up.”

Then she addressed the audience, saying that the show was the story of her life and she wanted us to “feel all the feels.”

“And really, Tampa, I’m only here every 40 years, so you should appreciate it,” she said, referring to the fact that she’s only performed here once before, in 1985.

She was accompanied by a person wearing a blank face mask throughout the show, who represented a younger version of herself that has stuck with her through the years. She gave herself a hug and reminded us to not forget where we came from.

“This isn’t a pop show, it’s more of a retrospective,” she said. “It’s performance art.”

Indeed. During “Open Your Heart,” there were nods to the memorable music video featuring a peepshow, and “Holiday” took us to a New York City nightclub, where the party reached a dizzying height, then took a heartbreaking turn as dancers started to fall to the ground. The refrain “Holiday” repeated as a haunting echo.

This led to a segment honoring those who were lost to AIDS, accompanied by a montage of their photographs while she performed “Live to Tell.” It began with a photo of former Tampa Bay resident Martin Burgoyne .

The segment culminated with an emotional “Like a Prayer,” with dancers’ bodies morphing into poses of Jesus Christ during crucifixion and other feats of physicality. There was a nod to Prince — who had played guitar on the original track — with a guitarist wearing a purple-patterned suit and a sample of the spoken intro of “Let’s Go Crazy.”

Madonna has always been a strong and vocal advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, and this concert was a big kiss to it. Ballroom culture was celebrated in a joyful segment during “Vogue,” which featured her daughter Estere as the DJ. Dancers walked the runway

to be judged by Madonna and guest Monét X Change.

It wouldn’t be Madonna if there wasn’t a steamy sexual element, and that came with sensual choreography on “Erotica,” “Justify My Love” and “Hung Up,” then turned almost remorseful with “Bad Girl,” on which her daughter Mercy played the piano.

Things took a tender turn with “Mother and Father,” which she dedicated to her mother, who died when she was very young. A photo of her was on a screen, as was the photo of her adopted son David’s mother, who died in childbirth. David also accompanied on guitar.

Among her many costume changes, Madonna went Western chic and played “Express Yourself” on her guitar, which she slung over her back for “La Isla Bonita.” She donned a silver bodysuit and long pink wig as she flew over the stage in a square for “Ray of Light.”

A dedication to Michael Jackson came with a “Billie Jean” / “Like a Virgin” mashup, with dancers dressed like the duo silhouetted on a screen.

Madonna has dealt with the pressures of celebrity’s obsession with youth, which is alluded to with sound bites of her saying “To age is a sin” and “The most controversial thing I’ve ever done is to stick around.” People may expect her, at age 65, to act or dress a certain way. But instead, she reminds us what a trailblazer she is during “B---- I’m Madonna,” with dancers dressed in her most iconic looks through the years.

Whatever you do, don’t expect Madonna to stop.

FINAL (Vol.2)

Enrique Iglesias

10 SONGS • 30 MINUTES • MAR 29 2024

  • TRACKS TRACKS
  • DETAILS DETAILS

A globally recognized singer, Enrique Iglesias is one of the most successful Latin recording artists ever, known for his cross-pollinated brand of Spanish- and English-language pop. There was no bigger star in Latin music in the first part of the 21st century than Iglesias, who scored his first number one on Billboard's Latin charts in 1995. He soared to crossover stardom at the dawn of the new millennium thanks to the hits "Bailamos" (off 1999's Enrique) and "Hero" (off 2001's Escape), a pair of blockbusters that established his ease with modern dance and classic pop balladry, respectively. Although he'd see the pop Top Ten again -- "I Like It," his 2010 duet with Pitbull, went to number four, as did 2011's "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)" featuring Ludacris and DJ Frank E (both off 2010's Euphoria) -- he was an institution in Latin music, racking up over 25 number one singles on Billboard's Latin Songs chart, along with 14 number one hits on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart, all while selling over 150 million albums worldwide by the end of the 2010s. Iglesias began the next decade by once again hitting the top of the Latin Pop Albums chart with 2021's The Final (Vol. 1), the first half of his intended final album. Vol. 2 arrived in early 2024.

As the youngest child of Julio Iglesias, Enrique may have been born into Latin music royalty and, consequently, his fame may seem preordained, but that isn't the case. Born in Madrid, Spain on May 8, 1975, Iglesias stayed with his mother, Isabel Preysler, following the 1979 divorce of his parents. He and his two older siblings were sent to live with their father in 1986, where his nanny, Elvira Olivares, played a pivotal role in his parenting. Initially, he planned to major in business at the University of Miami, but he felt the pull of a musical career, so he borrowed money from Olivares to record a demo tape. He took steps to distance himself from his father, shopping the demo under the name "Enrique Martinez," borrowing the surname from Fernan Martinez, who'd previously worked as a publicist for Julio. The tape landed the singer a deal with Fonovisa Records, which convinced him to return to his birth name.

Dropping out of school, Enrique Iglesias headed to Toronto to record the album that became his eponymous 1995 debut. A hit right out of the box, Enrique Iglesias moved a million copies within its first three months. Arriving in 1997, Vivir consolidated his success, snagging him the 1996 Grammy for Best Latin Performer along with a host of Billboard awards, all paving the way for his first headlining international tour. Iglesias released one more album on Fonovisa -- 1998's Cosas del Amor -- before making the leap to Interscope Records.

Interscope helped Iglesias cross into the pop mainstream via the 1999 album Enrique. The hit that brought Iglesias fame and helped turn Enrique into a platinum hit was "Bailamos," a song originally released on a limited-edition version of Cosas del Amor and reworked for the soundtrack of Will Smith's comedy-adventure Wild Wild West. "Bailamos" reached number one not just on Billboard's Latin charts but also the Hot 100 as it entered the Top Ten in countries all around the world. "Be with You" was a number one hit early in 2000, buying Iglesias a little time as he worked on the album that turned out to be his biggest hit, Escape. Released in 2001 and consisting entirely of English-language songs (three were reprised at the end in Spanish), Escape turned into a blockbuster on the back of the soaring ballad "Hero," which went to number one in five countries and peaked at three in the U.S. Its title track was also a major hit, boosting the album's sales and helping to set the stage for an international tour that ran into 2002. That same year, he released the all-Spanish-language Quizás on Interscope's sister company Universal Music Latino; it would go gold in the U.S.

In 2003, Iglesias returned to crossover dance-pop on 7 -- only his third pop-oriented album but his seventh record overall. While it didn't generate any hits on the Hot 100, its first single, "Addicted," reached nine on Billboard's Latin charts. Following the supporting tour for 7, Iglesias spent two years quietly, returning in the summer of 2007 with the album Insomniac. Preceded by the hit single "Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song)," Insomniac found Iglesias dabbling with modern dance club music -- he brought Lil Wayne in for a verse on "Push" -- but its second Latin hit was "Somebody's Me," a ballad. Two compilations followed in 2008 -- the Latin market-oriented 95/08 Exitos in March, the pop-focused Greatest Hits in November -- and Iglesias returned to the studio to record his ninth studio album, which would appear on Universal Republic due to corporate restructuring. Released in July 2010, Euphoria was divided between English and Spanish songs and he scored big in both markets: "I Like It," featuring Pitbull, went to four on the Hot 100, the same position achieved by "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)," while "No Me Digas Que No" reached number one on the Latin charts.

Iglesias released "Finally Found You" in 2012, taking the single to 24 on the Hot 100. It was the first in a long march of pre-release singles for 2014's Sex and Love, a record that contained two Latin number one hits from 2013 ("Loco," "El Perdedor"). Just after Sex and Love's March 2014 release, "Bailando" was issued as a single and it became a smash hit, reaching 12 on Billboard's Hot 100 and number one on the Latin charts on its way to sales of triple platinum and earning three Latin Grammys (Song of the Year, Best Urban Song, Best Urban Performance). Iglesias stayed on the Latin charts in 2015 via "El Perdon," a duet with Nicky Jam. In April 2016, Iglesias released "Duele el Corazon," the first single in his new deal with Sony Latin. Iglesias roared back the following year. Another single, "Subeme la Radio" -- featuring vocals by Descemer Bueno and Zion & Lennox -- arrived in February 2017, and Iglesias launched a co-headlining tour with Pitbull that summer. In early 2018, Iglesias issued the reggaeton-informed collaborative single "El Bano" with Bad Bunny. It reached number two on the singles chart in Spain. He followed it midyear with "Move to Miami" with Pitbull.

Universal released a Greatest Hits collection in late 2019 that charted in Spain. Iglesias returned in 2020 with a featured spot on Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA's "Fútbol y Rumba," a song that reached the Spanish and Billboard Latin Top Ten. His own "Me Pasé," featuring Farruko, appeared in July 2021 and was featured on The Final (Vol. 1). The first volume of what he stated would be his last studio album, Vol. 1 was released in September of that year, reaching number 12 on the Billboard Latin chart. Following a major joint tour with Ricky Martin, Iglesias began 2022 with "Espacio en Tu Corazón," which was used as the theme song to the telenovela Corazón Guerrero. September 2023 saw the release of "Asi Es la Vida," a duet with Argentinian singer María Becerra and the first single from Iglesias' forthcoming final LP Final (Vol. 2). Just prior to the album's March 2024 release, he teamed up with Miranda Lambert on "Space in My Heart," an English-language duet version of his earlier single "Espacio en Tu Corazón." Both renditions were included on Final (Vol. 2). ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

  • Every day each car in  Moscow metro passes  more than 600 km, which is the distance from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
  • Moscow subway system is the  5th in the intensity  of use (after the subways of Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai).
