Live a very special adventure visiting the most attractive places of the island on our comfortable and authentic Jeep Safari in Tenerife . A 7-hour that will take us through some of its most characteristic villages, crossing Teide National Park , stopping at its viewpoints and reaching Masca town.

We start our Jeep Safari route in Tenerife from Playa de las Americas , passing through La Camella, Escalona viewpoint and Arona, finally heading towards Vilaflor , the highest altitude town in Spain, surrounded by incredible landscapes.

From Vilaflor, gateway to the Teide National Park , we will start driving through these beautiful landscapes and its imposing nature , observing the volcano with a height of 3,178 meters .

During the crossing we will admire landscapes from several viewpoints, we will know the geological importance of this area and many of the customs and cultures of its surroundings.

We will reach the volcano Pico Viejo , with a large crater of 800 meters in diameter , and then we will enter Masca village, a charming town that still preserves its essence of yesteryear, given that this town of difficult access was practically isolated for a long time.

We will continue to Tamaimo , where we will take a break for lunch. You can choose from several restaurants and local food menus (lunch not included).

Fantastic Jeep Safari of Tenerife

We recently took a jeep safari with Tamaran Jeep Safari, it was one of the most exciting and fun things I have done in a long time. Frank our guide was so funny and full of knowledge about the Island of Tenerife. We took the Tiede and Masca tour which I can highly recommend. The views are breath taking and the ride itself keeps you on the edge of your seat. My only disappointment was the lunch and the little time you have to buy souvenirs from the villages. If you are able to afford this trip it is well worth the money at €48 per person.

Do it by jeep! A great day out to see the sights of Mt Teide & Masca. We went on the full day trip. It was a hot clear day and amazing views over the southern coastline of tenerife. The guide, Colin was informative and was entertaining. There's a fair bit of travelling but you need to get about to see everything. The views of Teide were brill and breathtaking not sure I'd be able to sleep in the lonely hotel near to the summit ha ha be to worried about the volcano blowing it's top while I'm there. It was great to be up there above the clouds and just to get away from the same old same old. The tour left Teide and headed for lunch in at a nice restaurant with a great view over Tamaimo then onto Masca. The road to Masca was a sight in itself and not for the faint hearted. Masca is in a beautiful location and is lovely to wander around, we didn't really have to much time there as the day was almost over so make sure you jump on and off the jeep as quick as poss when your told so you can spend a bit more time here...stunning scenery, valleys and cliffs. The whole trip was well worth the money spent and I would recommend it to anyone.

Booked a half day safari to Mount Teide. Very efficient transfers to meeting point. Nice touch to travel in convoy up to the volcano! Drivers very knowledgeable and told us interesting facts about the area, stopping several times for photos and refreshments. Avoid Tamaran jeep safari but is very nice. The Jeep company 'Tamaran' are terrible. They where very rude to us and we wished we had took the bus there instead of using them. The guides are bad, the attitude of this company is as if they have no customer service at all. Be warned! But Masca is great, we enjoyed the views and would go again but on a bus!

Please accept our sincere apologies for making your bad experience with us. There is no excuses to be rude and treat people badly. We would like to know more information about what happened to prevent this from happening in the future. Please, write to [email protected]. On the other hand we would like to make it up with a free ticket if you return to Tenerife, to try to do it better.

Well , when I did it a few years ago I just took the card.

If you do the trip through TC they say they will only do it as you as passenger, UKs H&S.

Gaviota do it that you can drive.

TC do it on Thursday and it is 75 cucs.

Think we will take both parts of license then, incase we decide we would like to drive ourselves.

Only 4 sleeps til we arrive at MLD!! YAY!!

You go and book it at the Gaviota desk. All the desks are off the lobby by the shop and the toilets.

There is a price list here, it does not matter who does the trip the prices are the same. The trips are run through Gaviota so they fix the price. If there is a fluctuation it is a CUC or so.

Also it will be best to enquire at other desks as they go different days, and offer different tours.

For instance the Topes over night is offered through Gaviota but not through TC.

Only a small difference of 5 CUC's, but we are a party of 4, making it 20 CUC's difference, and if all trips are slightly differently priced, it might add up, especially since we are planning on taking quite a few excursions.

I think I will just check out what is on offer on our arrival with the different tour companies on our arriva.

The prices for the Gaviota link are of Jan this year, so that may be a factor.

Ah, that might explain it then.

We can check out the prices when we get there......only 3 sleeps left!!

All prices quotes are just as a guide as some trips are on special and some are removed due to demand, or lack of it.
