LPGA Tour on ESPN+
The Chevron Championship on ESPN+ is part of a two-year deal announced in November 2023 in which ESPN+ will present live featured group coverage of eight LPGA Tour tournaments through the 2025 season. The first event under the new agreement was the 2023 CME Group Tour Championship last fall, and The Chevron Championship is the first of four LPGA Tour events on ESPN+ in 2024.
This latest deal continues a longstanding relationship between the LPGA Tour and ESPN.
- In 2022, ESPN+ streamed the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G and the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G.
- ESPN televised a schedule of regular LPGA Tour events from 1979-2009, and ABC covered the CME Group Tour Championship from 2015-2018.
- ESPN aired the first two rounds of the AIG British Open from 1982-2002 and all four rounds from 2010-2015, as well as the first two rounds of the U.S. Women’s Open from 1982-2014.
- The first golf ever televised on ESPN was the LPGA Sahara Open on Sept. 8, 1979, ESPN’s second day on air.
The remaining slate of LPGA Tour events on ESPN+ this season will be announced later this year.

Lilia Vu (back) withdraws from LPGA Chevron Championship
- Associated Press
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Defending champion and world No. 2 Lilia Vu withdrew from the Chevron Championship on Thursday before the first round because of a back injury.
The LPGA announced her withdrawal, saying the back injury she's been dealing with "flared up" during warmups. The back issue forced her to withdraw from a previous event this season.
"I have been dealing with a back injury for a while now," Vu posted to Instagram on Thursday. "Some days are better than others, and today was unfortunately not a good day. During my normal warmup routine, I had severe discomfort in my back and I felt that I could not compete up to my standards and made the decision to withdraw from the tournament ahead of my tee time."
She added that she was returning home immediately to see her doctors and determine the next steps.
The back issue forced her to withdraw from a previous event this season.
The 26-year-old American was asked about her health leading up to the tournament on Tuesday.
"It's been a rough couple months battling with my injury," she said. "It's been a little scary. I've definitely cried a lot on the range sometimes because my back just couldn't hold up."
She added that she felt "95% there."
Vu was the LPGA player of the year last season. She won the Women's Open Championship after her Chevron victory.

Moscow Metro
The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.
What is the kremlin in russia?
The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.
And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.
During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.
There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.
