Old Dominion is postponing several shows on their No Bad Vibes tour because lead singer-guitarist Matthew Ramsey was injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident.
Ramsey, 45, on Tuesday revealed that he had fractured his pelvis in three places after the ATV accident, forcing the yearlong postponement of the alt-country band’s weekend concerts at Coffee Butler Amphitheater in Key West, Fla.

“The good news is it’s gonna heal just fine. The bad news is I’m gonna have to stay home and recover for a little while. I know we all had plans to sing and dance together in Key West. I was looking forward to that so much! We will make it up to you!” the “Memory Lane” singer said in a statement posted on the band’s Twitter account.
Ramsey did not get into the specifics of the accident.
“I promise we’ll keep you updated on my recovery and any other shows that might be affected,” Ramsey said. “This tour has been such a blast so far this year and before you know it I’ll be back out there with No Bad Vibes.”
The March 31 and April 1 and 2 concerts in Key West have been rescheduled for March 22, 23 and 24, 2024, according to the tweet. Current tickets will still be honored for the newly announced dates. Full refunds will be made available for the next 30 days at point of purchase for those who can’t make the new dates.

The Old Dominion quintet, known for the hits “One Man Band” and “Written in the Sand,” includes keyboardist Trevor Rosen, drummer Whit Sellers, bass guitarist Geoff Sprung and lead guitarist Brad Tursi. The group was nominated for a Grammy Award for their 2019 single “Some People Do” and have earned a number of accolades in country music, including big wins at the Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music Assn. Awards and CMT Music Awards.
It’s still unclear if the band’s upcoming mid-April shows in Pennsylvania, New York and Maine will also be postponed due to Ramsey’s injury.
The guitarist was hospitalized in 2021 after falling off a ladder while changing a lightbulb. He broke a rib and suffered from a collapsed lung at the time. The band also postponed three shows in 2019 because Ramsey had to undergo surgery in his leg, telling People that he had fallen onstage the year before and had been “playing with a considerable amount of pain.”

Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsey forced to postpone shows after fracturing pelvis in ATV accident
Hitmaking country music band Old Dominion postponed a handful of Florida shows Tuesday after singer Matthew Ramsey fractured his pelvis in an ATV accident.
The singer, known for co-writing Old Dominion hits "One Man Band," "Hotel Key" and "I Was On A Boat That Day," broke the bone in three places, according to a post on the band's Twitter account Tuesday. Previously-scheduled concerts for this weekend in Key West, Florida, will now take place in March 2024. Ticketholders unable to make the rescheduled shows can seek a refund at the point of purchase, according to the band.
"The good news is it's gonna be just fine," Ramsey wrote in a statement on social media. "The bad news is I'm gonna have to stay home and recover for a while."
The band's No Bad Vibes Tour plans to resume April 13 in Reading, Pennsylvania. The band is also set to make an appearance at CMA Fest in June.
A three-time CMA Award-winning outfit, Old Dominion released its latest full-length album, "Time, Tequila & Therapy," in October 2021.
"I promise we'll keep you updated on my recovery and any other shows that might be affected," Ramsey said. "This tour has been such a blast so far this year and before you know it I'll be back out there with No Bad Vibes."

Old Dominion injury halts tour
Country band Old Dominion is halting its tour after lead singer Matthew Ramsey suffered a fractured pelvis in an ATV accident. “The good news is it’s gonna heal just fine. The bad news is I’m gonna have to stay home and recover for a little while,” Ramsey, 45, said on Instagram. The band, known for songs like “Make It Sweet” and “Snapback,” postponed three shows in Florida and promised to “make it up to” fans. It’s unclear yet if more concerts will be affected: Old Dominion is currently scheduled to resume its tour April 13 in Reading, Pennsylvania, and then play MVP Arena in Albany on April 14. “I promise we’ll keep you updated on my recovery and any other shows that might be affected,” Ramsey added.

Old Dominion Hope to Bring the Happiness With Their 2023 No Bad Vibes Tour
Old Dominion are hoping to bring a little light to their fans with their just-announced 2023 No Bad Vibes Tour, which takes its name from their latest single, "No Hard Feelings." The string of dates kicks off Jan. 19 in Evansville, Ind., and extends through June.
"At an Old Dominion show, I think we just want people to feel happy," frontman Matthew Ramsey explains in a press release. "They should feel like they got to forget about whatever is bothering them or whatever's weighing them down at that point in time. Just come and hang out with us, and escape for a couple hours. Then hopefully they walk out feeling a little lighter than when they walked in."
It's a fitting message to go along with "No Hard Feelings," which is a breakup song that sends off an ex with nothing but well-wishes, good intentions and positivity for the future.
The band announced their tour on Monday night (Oct. 17) during a show at Loser's Bar and Grill in Nashville, and it's no coincidence that that set is where the chose to share the news: Their appearance was part of the Whiskey Jam stage, where they got their start in the city's live country music community, and a number of Whiskey Jam mainstay artists are accompanying them on their No Bad Vibes Tour.
Kassi Ashton , Frank Ray and Greylan James are on the bill for the U.S. leg of the tour, and when Old Dominion heads up to Canada, they'll bring Ray and Shawn Austin to open the show for those dates.
Tickets for the No Bad Vibes Tour go on sale to the general public starting Friday, Oct. 28, but fans hoping to snag their tickets early can sign up for a pre-sale code by subscribing to Old Dominion's newsletter . Also, American Express cardholders will have access to a special pre-sale that begins Wednesday, Oct. 19.
