Third Eye Blind Book 2023 ’25 Years in the Blind’ North American Tour Dates
Third Eye Blind have announced an additional leg of their 25 Years in the Blind tour, taking place in the U.S. and Canada throughout March and April.
The run kicks off March 10 in New Orleans, La., and wraps up in mid-April in Pala, Calif. The trek is in support of the band's latest studio album Our Bande Apart, which came out in 2021, as well as their newest release Unplugged, which features acoustic versions of the band's biggest hits.
“25 years of Third Eye Blind finds us feeling glorious, as if everything is coming into deeper focus,” frontman Stephan Jenkins said in a press release. “It's not lost on us that this is a miracle, and that we are in it because of the new fans that keep discovering us and the people who, over the years, have made our music part of their culture.”
See the full list of dates below. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 16, and a portion of each ticket sale will be donated to the non-profit organization SeaTrees , which aims to mitigate the effects of carbon and climate change on the ocean.
“Thanks to the Third Eye Blind crew and everyone who came out to see them on their summer tour, we are able to restore another key section of California's lost kelp forest ecosystem,” SeaTrees co-founder, Michael Stewart praised. “These critical marine areas provide habitat for over 700 species and help stabilize our climate.”

Went to concert last night in Durham. The lead was recovering from a cold, vocals sucked really bad, should have cancelled and rescheduled the concert. The band is still super talented and the musicians are incredible with the instruments. Any who, something was really off, nice attempt but should have let the man recover properly. I am not rich, I used 1/3rd of my monthly spending money for this concert and was disappointed. Still and always will love this band!!!!

Absolutely fantastic show! I've loved Third Eye Blind for awhile now, and this was my first time seeing their show. IT WAS FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! My love for their music burns brighter than ever before. They played straight for 1.5 hours, hit most of my all-time favorites, and seemed just as pumped to be there as I was. These tickets were a little more expensive than most of the shows I see at this venue, but it was worth every penny. I will definitely be seeing them again!
This was my second time seeing TEB. First in 2017 up in Cleveland for their Summer Gods 2017 tour. This time here in my hometown of Kansas City. For a second time I was blown away by their energy and enthusiasm. They really get the crowd pumped up and give the perfect amount of interaction with their audience. The setlist of course was great, included a blend of older material and new songs that will be on their unreleased upcoming album.
For me, my favorite TEB song is Motorcycle Drive By and they nailed it perfectly even after all these years. Their wasn't a moment of their time onstage though that I was not dancing, singing, and smiling. I highly recommend seeing this band. Very talented and kind hearted individuals, wel worth the money. Can't wait till they come around next time, I'll be there.

Third eye blind announces 2024 summer gods tour.
Posted by Buddy Iahn | Jan 8, 2024
Yellowcard and Arizona will support the trek
Third Eye Blind is excited to announce the fourth edition of the Summer Gods Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will begin June 8th in Spokane, Washington through August 3rd in Houston, with special guests Yellowcard and Arizona.
Tickets will be available for presale on Tuesday, January 9th with Citi, and additional presales throughout the week. General on sale will begin Friday, January 12th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster .
The band will be on ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday, January 10th, giving fans a special performance.
“I have this sense that I am feeling the same way everybody else is—that we need a summer tour so badly, like more than ever,” says Third Eye Blind’s Stephan Jenkins. “We need the lights, the noise, the heat and everybody up close to each other, singing as one. Can’t wait.”
“Third Eye Blind self-titled is a masterclass in songwriting that blew all of our minds when it was released in 1997,” comments Ryan Key of Yellowcard. “As 90s kids we were gifted with so much incredible music in our formative years and we are all such massive fans of the band because of that record. It doesn’t feel real yet that we will be sharing the stage with one of our all-time favorite bands every night this summer.”
“Third Eye Blind was the soundtrack to so many summer adventures during high school!” adds Arizona’s Nate Esquite. “My friends and I would drive up and down the NJ Parkway blasting “Semi-Charmed Life” out the windows and dreaming about one day playing PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel as we passed. To be a part of this tour is a dream come true in so many ways – being able to sing our hearts out to 3EB every night and playing so many incredible venues along the way.”
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of “Jumper,” Third Eye Blind is releasing the world’s first playable .999 silver-coated and .997 karat gold-coated records, in collaboration with Precious Sound. Manufactured in Germany, each five-inch, seven-ounce record is playable at 33 1/3 RPMs on any manual record player, and pressed with 1,250 tons, using groundbreaking technology. The B-side is an engraving celebrating the cover art of the self-titled album.
“Twenty-five years in, ‘Jumper’ makes a message of the value of a common heart. I’m happy that this is the first message immortalized on precious metals,” adds Jenkins. “The song has gone from dark to light. It started as a noir—where I am talking to somebody telling what I would have said to them had they not jumped off the Coronado bridge. Pretty dark stuff. Now when I sing it, it is a celebration of understanding and inclusivity and you can see how eager people are to express that feeling. I love it. I love the transition.”
“Jumper” will be available in .999 silver coating for $450, in .997 gold coating for $800, and 25 24-karat solid gold pressings with price available by request at PreviousSound.com .

Third Eye Blind Announce 2024 Tour with Yellowcard
The summer trek will also feature A R I Z O N A
Third Eye Blind have mapped out a Summer 2024 tour with special guests Yellowcard and A R I Z O N A.
Their fourth annual “Summer Gods Tour” kicks off on June 8th in Airway Heights, Washington ahead of stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Austin, and more before wrapping up in Houston on August 3rd. See the full itinerary here.
Fans can look for tickets and deals via StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
“I have this sense that I am feeling the same way everybody else is — that we need a summer tour so badly, like more than ever,” said Third Eye Blind’s Stephan Jenkins in a statement. “We need the lights, the noise, the heat, and everybody up close to each other, singing as one. Can’t wait.”
Yellowcard’s Ryan Key added, “Third Eye Blind self-titled is a masterclass in songwriting that blew all of our minds when it was released in 1997. As ’90s kids we were gifted with so much incredible music in our formative years and we are all such massive fans of the band because of that record. It doesn’t feel real yet that we will be sharing the stage with one of our all time favorite bands every night this summer.”
Third Eye Blind’s latest studio album was 2021’s Our Bande Apart , while their special guests both shared new releases last year: Yellowcard unveiled their Childhood Eyes EP and A R I Z O N A dropped a self-titled album.

Who's Playing at Chicago's Salt Shed in 2023? Here's the 20-Artist Indoor Concert Lineup
Third eye blind, iggy pop and the roots are among the 20 artists slated to perform indoors at the salt shed next year, published november 16, 2022 • updated on november 16, 2022 at 7:55 am.
Neither snow, nor slush , nor...salt...can keep Chicagoans from attending concerts in the winter.
After opening earlier this year and hosting a handful of musical acts as an outdoor venue, The Salt Shed on Chicago's North Side announced their first slate of indoor shows for 2023.

And -- yes -- The Salt Shed is in fact located inside the old Morton Salt factory at 1308 North Elston Avenue, with the building's well-known roof retaining the original artwork.
Known for its iconic logo on the roof visible from the Kennedy Expressway, the original Morton Salt facility permanently closed in the fall of 2015 , leading to widespread efforts to redevelop the surrounding area.

Third Eye Blind: Live at Red Rocks
Stephan Jenkins (Self)
David Wexler
On the eve of the 25th Anniversary of their iconic self-titled debut album, Third Eye Blind is set to play the historic Red Rocks amphitheater for the first time. An approaching storm threatens to cancel the show, as the band overcomes speech-losing migraines, altitude sickness, and a lighting person walking off, all the while delivering a hit-filled performance to thousands of their adoring fans. Cycling through their catalog of mega hits (Graduate, Jumper, How's It Gonna Be, Semi-Charmed Life), Third Eye Blind overcome these impossible circumstances by relying on each other, and connecting with their devoted audience.

NFL Draft 2024: This Year’s Second Round Could Be a Trade Bonanza
We polled multiple front office executives and coaches, and the cutoff for real talent could be far thinner by the start of the third round.
- Author: Conor Orr
Day 1 of the NFL draft is often wild by default. We have a lot of teams with different needs scrambling to get a pick that can help the franchise and, on a whim, ownership can—and often does—blow it up. I can’t reiterate that enough: When your team does something difficult to fathom on draft night, 75% of the time it has nothing to do with the well-meaning scout or general manager. It’s literally an owner hearing about a player second hand while on the 13th hole at Pebble Beach, hopping in the private hovercraft and walking into the draft room to blow it up.
Anyway, this year, I’m hearing that Day 2 will also be wild. However, this is a far more interesting kind of wild, especially for those who love the conflicting economics and different value sets of each team. After polling multiple front office executives and coaches, it seems the cutoff for real talent in this draft drops off at pick No. 110. Meaning: There are some GMs who think there are 110 good players in this draft at most. There are some who think the talent pool is far thinner and plan to recalibrate after pick No. 80. For reference, pick No. 80 is the Cincinnati Bengals at the beginning of the third round.
What does this mean? I think there will be a lot of teams beyond No. 80 trying to move up and secure a decent player. There will also be a lot of teams immediately beyond pick No. 80 trying to flee and build up draft equity for the following year when the class might be more robust.
Since (some) front offices got wise to certain valuable principles, there exists an understanding that teams are more willing to give up later assets (meaning picks in a subsequent draft) for what they want now. In the immediate, this is a win for the acquiring club as it doesn’t lose any equity and it gets to continue on its path of trying to win right now. But, it’s indisputable that the club receiving the picks at a later date is the true winner because it almost always receives a higher return more valuable a year from now. I’ve heard of analytically minded front office folks referring to this as theft. There are good front offices—such as the ones with the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens—that seem to perpetually spin one pick into dozens and view the draft not as some kind of static entity but as a living, breathing concept that takes place over the course of multiple seasons.
This year, that philosophy could clash head-on with teams who need to fill out their roster with talent but (hopefully) understand that they probably won’t be able to after the start of the third round.
To back up for a second, this is happening because college kids are staying in college. The NIL money is good, the transfer portal offers more opportunities to play and prospects can improve their standing while still earning cash. It disincentivizes stumbling into the draft.
Some other quick thoughts below:
• The true value in this class may end up being the wide receiver group, which sounds like it may produce quality players into tier two and tier three. I have three receivers going in the top 10 of my mock draft and five total, and that number is too light. I also feel like more teams will have to maneuver up the board for a pass catcher than my mock reflected. That stands in contrast to the offensive tackle group, which, along with the receiver group, is held in high regard. What’s interesting is that some view a lot of the best tackles in this class as either too raw and inexperienced (and thus a toss up in terms of future production), too inferior from a measurables standpoint (i.e. short arms), or too mechanically flawed, necessitating that they would have to land with a really good offensive line coach. So if you’re a Titans fan, for example, and you have Bill Callahan, you’re going to be fine. The same goes for the Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers and a handful of other teams with truly elite developers of talent.
We don’t talk a lot about this and often view the tackle positions as immediately slottable into the NFL. We see offensive linemen as a cleaner projection when, in reality, that can’t be further from the truth. This is especially true if you’re slotting a player on the quarterback’s blind side. Despite the discourse bringing us to a point where we’ve viewed left and right tackles as interchangeable to a degree, a mistake by the tackle on the quarterback’s blind side still yields a much higher percentage of turnover-worthy plays.
The expectation is Penix will be a first-round selection.

• I have seen others write that there is an expectation that Michael Penix Jr. goes in the first half of the first round. I have heard that, too. I feel like the main reason for this has been teams getting the opportunity to get to know Penix. I spent a few hours with the Washington and Indiana quarterback for our draft preview cover story, which you can read here . He’s an impressive person who figured out a lot of the complexities of the position. He came from a high school where, at max, the team ran 10 plays a season and saw two coverages. He parlayed that into a Big Ten career in which Indiana ranked highly for the first time since the 1960s. He parlayed that into a Pac-12 career with the Huskies resulting in a title game appearance against Michigan.
• Speaking of the quarterbacks, I have not heard this in particular, but I do wonder if the (relative) glut at the position leads a team to make a Jordan Love-type move at the back end of the first round. I have the Arizona Cardinals taking Penix in my mock draft as a Kyler Murray insurance policy. Many picks can reflect contemporary trends, and the way Love played toward the end of last season should resonate if one of the six quarterbacks we’ve discussed at length in the run-up to the draft is still available. Think of teams such as the Los Angeles Rams, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers who all need to have an eye on the future.
