The accommodations were First Class...just beautiful. The included meals were great. Eileen selected restaurants where we could experience local delicacies...including haggis. Also had alot of fun visiting several pubs...got to drink a few pints with the townspeople who were welcoming and friendly to American visitors. The tours that Eileen arranged were well planned and extremely interesting...my favorite being the visit to Winston Churchill's War Rooms. Several of the tours included local guides who were very knowledgeable and showed us things we never would have been able to find on our own. One of the guides taught us how to use the London train system...perfect for free time and independent exploration. Eileen was actually with us on the trip. I got to witness and appreciate just how hard she works to make sure everything goes smoothly, and everyone has a great time. Will be booking many more adventures with Thompson Tours in the future.  *****

Barbara 1 review a year agoJust returned from the National Parks tour out west.  We saw a lot of sights which was exactly what we wanted. There were only 25 people on the full size bus which was great for spreading out. Would have helped if maybe there were videos about the sights to make the ride more enjoyable. The only accommodation I had trouble with was the ski resort.  Seemed like it was way out of the way and not the best place for “senior citizens “. A couple of restaurants were questionable for a choice of dinner.  Had better leftovers at home. I would travel with Thompson again mostly for Ellen Toole.  She was a hoot and kept us informed and entertained.  ****

Just returned from Thompson's tour of Iceland.  Everything on the tour went smoothly because of Ellen's checking on the hotel and meal arrangements,etc.  Thank you to George too with lifting suitcases and helping with the details and for his reassurance that all was going well. I also appreciated that this was a small group of very nice,helpful people.  Thanks especially for help at the waterfalls and the glacier! Iceland is a beautiful country and we experienced many waterfalls, glacier hiking (!), and other geological wonders unique to Iceland.(ie hot springs).  Thanks to the planning for the trip by Thompson tours, we stayed in very nice Icelandic hotels, had opportunities to get to know each other and learn much more about Iceland.  Kudos to Dylan our guide for all of the interesting facts and stories about the Icelandic culture,history and geology.  I would highly recommend this tour. - definitely a bargain!! *****

If you have a few more days to spare, venture into the dreamy Russian countryside in Suzdal or Sergiev Posad. Suzdal is a small town with a population of about ten thousand people, situated on less than 15 square kilometres. This tiny area is home to 53 historic cathedrals, five monasteries and a kremlin. Church domes are visible like mushrooms from anywhere and everywhere in the town like in a fairy tale. No wonder Suzdal is called the ‘Town Museum”.  It is definitely worth visiting!

Latah County, Idaho

The elected Prosecuting Attorney defends or prosecutes actions, applications, or motions in the District Court or Magistrate's division in which the People, the State or the County is a party. Along with the Sheriff, the Prosecutor functions as the chief law enforcement officer in Latah County. The Prosecuting Attorney is also the legal counsel for the Board of County Commissioners, as well as other elected officials and appointed boards and commissions of the county.

The Latah County Prosecutor’s Office handles State of Idaho felony cases arising in Latah County regardless of who the investigating agency might be. Additionally, we handle:

• Juvenile cases regardless of the investigating agency
• Child Protection cases
• Involuntary mental hospitalizations
• County civil legal matters

NOTE: The Moscow City Attorney’s office handles all misdemeanors and infractions (including parking citations) from the Moscow Police Department (MPD). If MPD is the citing or investigating agency in one of these cases, you should contact the Moscow City Prosecutor at 208-883-7003 or visit their site. .

The Latah County Prosecutor’s Office does not have its own investigators. Rather, we rely on our law enforcement agencies to take complaint/reports and conduct the investigations. If you would like to file a complaint or make a report of possible criminal conduct, please contact the jurisdictional law enforcement agency. Examples include:

So at the last minute I decide to take my family on a vacation. I go into this place and am greeted by "travel consultant" Linda Wood. I tell her my last minute plans and where I want to go and she immediately shrieks "OMG, you are NOT considering going during SPRING BREAK ARE YOU?". I was immediately pissed off. When a CUSTOMER approaches your business and is seriously considering spending 12k on airfare and hotel (not including food, entertainment or car rental) THROUGH your business...do not treat the customer like you are DOING THEM A FAVOR. So she takes me over to her desk where she starts half-heartedly fiddling around with travel dates and throwing out costs to me. Again she turns to me and mumbles something about it being "spring break". I then told her "I do not care about it being "spring break", those happen to be the only dates my children have available". Do you think she got it through her thick, unprofessional skull that she had pissed me off and offended me? No. The owner comes walking in and what does Ms Linda Wood do? She turns to the owner and says loudly "she wants to go during "spring break". (WTF is it with this dumb-dumb?) I then ignore this idiot and ask the owner if she has some brochures. She comes back and hands me a great booklet on the island as a vacation, along with two brochures. Needless to say, dumb-dumb was still sitting there giving me this "look" like I was some complete moron for wanting to go on the dates I wanted. She then says "I will call a few of my contacts and see what I can find, although I am not sure I can guarantee anything at this late of a date". Really? As if at this point I am going to hand you a 12k check to handle ANY of my business? So that was on a Friday...it has now been 5 days...YES, FIVE DAYS since I was in that office and I have not had ONE courtesy call or any follow up to my request. I would not even consider giving them ONE star after the treatment she gave me. They do not deserve any stars. Do not waste your time at this small town, schleppy travel agency with the women who look like they should be sitting in front of a soap-opera eating Fritos. Tactless, no class, low budget attitudes, rude and condescending. You have forever lost MY business. OH...and the best part? I did all the booking on my own. I got airfare for the dates I wanted AND I got a fabulous oceanfront view penthouse. Thomson Travel is a bogus business and not professional AT ALL!!

First of all I had to work to get eye contact for someone to help me; I did get a feeling that I was troubling them; after I did explain what I wanted and gave my contact info I never did hear from them; how can they stay in business?

We've been using Thomson Travel for all our personal and business travel for years which entails multiple trips a year (domestic, overseas, many connections, last minute changes, visa help, etc). Linda Wood has always given us prompt and professional service, and we are grateful for the convenience (saving us a lot of time) researching, booking, and changing our flighst, and making travel arrangements (some of the most quaint hotel stays).
