Brunch spots in Paris

P1 Bouche

1.  P1 Bouche

The brunch annex of the superb bakery Atelier P1 has won over all the thirty-somethings in the neighborhood with its warm decor of light wood, whitewashed walls, and a spacious open kitchen. But above all, with delicious plates and pastries, from loaded toast to melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon rolls.

Aube

2.  Aube

This bright bistro on the rue de la Main-d'Or has something of a cult following, and for good reason. Currently Aube  only serves brunch on the weekends, but the team are hoping to extend it to weekdays soon enough. Its menu is fresh, largely vegetarian dishes: chicken-free Caesar salad, almond and garlic gazpacho, homemade granola, and filter coffee from Mick's. Our favourite brunch spot in the city.

Cali Uptown

3.  Cali Uptown

At Cali Uptown , you’ll find a sandy-colored fabric ceiling, a large counter encircled with aluminum and diner-style booths, a palm tree and plastic cacti. In this Palm Springs-style café, you can grab brunch all week until 4pm with avocado toast, mascarpone waffles or homemade granola. To drink? Mimosas, turmeric lattes and green juices, like the Hulk; apple, spinach, and cucumber. Sure to cure any hangover (maybe).

Holybelly 5

4.  Holybelly 5

  • 10e arrondissement

High five for HB5! This spacious spot has 100 seats for hungry guests, and plenty of light thanks to its magnificent glass roof.  Don't miss the Sweet Stack (€13.50), a trio of pancakes with seasonal fruit, cream, roasted hazelnuts and organic maple syrup. Or the eggs (fried, fried or scrambled), served with smoked bacon, organic rustic bread and Lescure butter.

Boulom

5.  Boulom

Boulom is a three-in-one spot: a restaurant, bakery and yes, a hidden cocktail bar. The brainchild of Julien Duboué, this large, bright room boasts a monumental buffet, surrounded by long tables under a cheerful green ceiling. Head to the all-you-can-eat buffet at weekends – it's  €49, but it's bloody worth it . We're talking black pudding terrine, eggs and mimosas, all like you've never seen them before. Oh, and look out for the dessert stand.

Gramme 3

6.  Gramme 3

With its cream-coloured interiors, vintage decor and entirely home-cooked dishes made from well-sourced and good-quality ingredients, Gramme 3 is something special. Go à la carte with an array of carrot cakes, cookies, chocolate cakes and scones, and try the super ‘banh mi dog’ (€12.50), a twist on the Vietnamese snack, with meat from Châteauneuf, pickled vegetables from Halles Trottemant and green mayo with coriander, all tucked into a soft hot dog bun from Petit Grain. There’s also artisanal juices (€3.50-5), good filter coffee (€3.50) and teas from Kodama (€4.50).

Ima Cantine

7.  Ima Cantine

Get whisked away to Tel Aviv with moreish vegetarian mezze   and brunch served daily at Ima Cantine . Coffees are from the Brûlerie de Belleville, and food ranges from salads and shakshuka to pancakes and poached eggs – all, we can confirm, are very delicious.

L'Entente Le British Brasserie

8.  L'Entente Le British Brasserie

Super cosy, almost bourgeois, this spot immediately soothes you. A setting reminiscent of an English club, at L'Entente , blues play softly in the background and impeccably dressed staff serve up British classics. But forget little pots of wobbly fluorescent jelly – this menu is the good bits of its cuisine. Try the full English; fried eggs, sausage, Gascon pork bacon, mushrooms and tomato with optional homemade black pudding. Or opt for sweet; the apricot pavlova is superb, but you can’t beat a selection of cheddar and Lancashire cheeses on good rye bread.

Echo

9.  Echo

Echo is known for its brilliant à la carte brunch with impressive gluten and dairy-free options. From scrambled eggs on chunky toasted brioche to multi-grain pancakes served with seasonal fruits, the menu brims with moreish L.A.-style dishes done right. We like the oozing, indulgent Caramelised Grilled Cheese and the gluten-free pancakes.

Tawlet

10.  Tawlet

In a two-story room with raw concrete floors and walls  – part grocery store, part arty floor with vintage lighting  –  you’ll find Tawlet ’s hearty buffet showcasing the best of Lebanese cuisine. It’s not cheap ( €39 for all-you-can-eat) , but the payoff is worth it: broad beans in lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil; grilled potatoes with zaatar; huge slices of halloumi cheese with tomato jam; crunchy tabbouleh; loubieh bi’zeit (green beans in oil), hummus, and spinach turnovers; ultra-melting knafeh with angel hair pastry... we could go on!

Café Singuliers

11.  Café Singuliers

Café Singuliers ticks all the boxes; light wood, herringbone parquet flooring, a bookstore-grocery corner, and a spectacular 1953 De Dietrich stove. Build your own brunch from the menu: a coffee or tea, homemade granola, comforting pastries (scones served warm, pear financiers, or freshly baked morning cookies), and a few savoury dishes like Shakshuka.

Maafim

12.  Maafim

This Levantine spot serves up falafel, shakshuka, and the likes of scrambled egg with salmon on brioche with zaatar. Exposed beams, light wood slats and speckled tiles make Maafim  a seriously special brunch spot (but the lunch is ace too).

Café Mirabelle

13.  Café Mirabelle

If you don’t know your Alsatian cuisine, now’s your chance. Café Mirabelle ’s weekend brunch (€29) is, frankly, enormous, and includes your only-to-be-expected fresh juice and granola, alongside more unusual choices like scrambled eggs with pork jowl, fig pavlova and a plum Bettelman bread pudding.

Bob's Bake Shop

14.  Bob's Bake Shop

  • Recommended

In Anglophone countries, patisseries mean France. Here, for once, the reverse is true. Following on from the wildly popular Bob's Kitchen and Bob's Cold Press , Bob's Bake Shop extends the winning formula to baked goods, and bagels in particular. The (excellent) coffee may be locally produced, but the shop channels the same yuppified American vibe as its sister venues. Everything, from the the scrumptious pies to the bagels themselves, is baked onsite, and served with the freshest veggie ingredients. As always, quality comes with a price, and with bagels clocking in at €8 and fruit juices at €5 your wallet will take a harder hit than your stomach. If you want to get your money's worth, repair to one of the large wooden tables outside and take your time watching the crowds go by on the Rue Nathalie Sarraute.

Le Hasard Ludique

15.  Le Hasard Ludique

  • Things to do
  • 18e arrondissement

The former Saint-Ouen train station built in 1889 was renovated by three young Parisians. Beginning as a collaborative crowd-funding project, Le Hasard Ludique has seen 1,200 ‘builders’ and volunteers helping with each stage of the construction and their know-how to create a yearly super-festival. The result is a real hybrid, featuring a restaurant, 300-seat concert hall, and a practising collective workshop. All in all, the perfect place for brunch in spring and summer.

By: Author Girl with the Passport

Looking for the best brunch in Paris? If so then this best brunch Paris guide is definitely for you!

Because although the concept of “brunch” isn’t exactly native to the City of Light, this iconic cross between lunch and breakfast is now an integral part of the Paris foodie scene.

As a result, there are now a ton of different brunch places in Paris where you can find delicious meals that are almost as varied as the people who call this amazing city home.

So, whether you’re into classic French, American, or Aussie-style cuisine, there’s definitely a best brunch in Paris spot for you!

Trust me, I should know. I’ve been to Paris more times than I can count and want to share all my insider tips with you on how to find the best brunch places in Paris.

After all, I’m basically an anti-morning person whose only chance of ever enjoying breakfast is when she emerges from her cocoon of sleep at the crack of noon on the weekends.

Therefore, come with me as we frolic through a heavenly sea of eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast, and crepes while we uncover the best brunch spot in Paris ever!

Since I am incapable of making it rain money, there’s a high chance that this post may contain affiliate links. Please see my disclosure for more information. As an Amazon Associate, I earn a small commission from qualifying purchases.

Best Brunch in the 2nd Arrondissement

Avocado on toast with a poached egg on top Is the best brunch in Paris

This light and bright, chic, casual, LA-style eatery is known for having what many consider to be the best brunch in Paris.

Added bonus? They have an amazing assortment of gluten and dairy-free options too, making this one of the best brunch places in Paris for anyone with a food allergy.

More than that though, the food is just wicked awesome and features entrees like scrambled eggs on freshly toasted brioche bread, multi-grain pancakes with fresh fruit, and so much more.

Personally, though, I’d order staples like the Smash Burger or the Caramelized Grilled Cheese. However, the banana bread and chocolate avocado mouse are also exceptional.

Chase it all down with a cappuccino or a Vietnamese coffee and you’ll be all set!

Just do be aware that this place is NOT a secret and so you will most probably have to wait in line to get inside, especially on the weekend. However, you could always be super on top of it and book a table for this best brunch Paris in advance.

Pro Tip: If you’re doing it all for the gram, order the multi-grain pancakes. it’s an exceptionally beautiful dish that photographs well.

Address: 95 Rue d’Aboukir, 75002 Paris, France

Hours: Open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Sunday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday and Tuesday.

Price: Most dishes are around 13 Euros.

2. Sunday in Soho

Just in case you’re not quite in the know, The Hoxton is a swank, 4-star hotel in the 2nd Arrondissement that is known for its Haute cocktail lounge, a fancy pants bar, and for serving one of my picks for the best brunch in Paris.

And while you may not be able to spend the night here since rooms cost upwards of $200 each, you can dine at one of the hotel’s many on-site eateries to get a thin slice of opulence before you depart this amazing city.

So, be sure to stop by for a decadent weekend brunch at The Hoxton Rivie Restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. It’s a snazzy, French brasserie that serves delightful, French dishes that have a unique, Asian-style twist about them.

Plus, you’ll have no problem finding a table since this eatery is exceptionally large – if only I could say the same thing about the portions which are a bit teeny tiny.

Now, if you’re looking for somewhat of a splurge then try the Blueberry Pancakes or the French Toast with a cornflake crust and salted caramel (OMG, now I’m hungry).

Otherwise, opt for savory Rivie’s Benny (aka Eggs Benedict) with either ham or salmon for the perfect Sunday brunch in Paris.

Pro Tip: They have an amazing patio area that is the perfect place to sit on a nice day.

Address: 30-32 Rue du Sentier, 75002 Paris, France

Hours: Open Sunday through Wednesday from 7:00 am to 12:00 am and Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 1:00 am.

Price: Entrees start at 8 Euros each.

Best Brunch in 4th and 5th Arrondissements

3. les marronniers.

By: Helga of MIRA Digital

Eggs Benedict from Les Marronniers.

The Les Marronniers is in the Le Marais district by the Jewish quarter is a fantastic restaurant in a neighborhood that is full of rainbow pedestrian crossings and multicolor umbrellas.

So, if you’re looking to have the best brunch in Paris, stop into Les Marronniers on Sunday and try their delicious spread for €22 per person. It’s a fantastic set menu that includes a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate as your beverage of choice.

But, what really stands out here is that the bar makes their hot chocolate the old fashion way, mixing thick chocolate cream with hot milk.

Next, enjoy freshly squeezed juice, muffins, eggs, avocado, mini pastries (like croissants), and pain au chocolate – all of which is perfectly complemented with rich entrees like Eggs Benedict, cheese, and chia bowls.

And If you want to go for a little extra indulgence, then add a glass of champagne to your meal for just €6 per glass.

Plus, since the location is pretty awesome, you can easily visit nearby the Chatelet, Strasbourg Saint-Denis, rue de Rivoli (with its amazing luxury shops), Hotel de Ville, and the Seine while you’re here.

Pro Tip: if you want to save a bit of money, enjoy a simple breakfast that is served here daily until 11:30 am. Afterward, brunch is then served until late afternoon.

Address: 18 Rue des Archives, 75004 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 7:00 am to 2:00 am, except on Sundays when they close at 12:00 am.

Price: Brunch is 22 Euros.

4. Les Galadines Creperie

By: Monique of Trip Anthropologist

Ham and cheese crepe from Les Geladines in Paris. The best brunch Paris.

After touring immortal Parisian landmarks like Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, the Sainte Chapelle, the Conciergerie, Hôtel de Ville and The Shakespeare and Company Bookstore, chances are, you’re pretty hungry and looking for the best brunch in Paris!

Well, luckily for you, smack dab in the middle of the best attractions in Paris, in the Latin Quarter, is Les Galadines, one of Paris’ best creperies.

Therefore, inside this best brunch Paris spot you’ll see both crepes and galettes on the menu. However, feel free to have a freshly made Nutella crepe from a street stall in this area as well.

Now, while it’s a hotly contested topic in Brittany (where crepes and galettes originated), Parisians are settled on the idea that in Paris at least, a galette is a savory crepe while a ‘crepe’ is viewed as a sweet dessert.

Thankfully, Les Galadines serves both and it’s traditional to order a galette for brunch and sometimes even a crepe too if you’re exceptionally hungry.

And like many small family restaurants in the Latin Quarter, you’ll find plenty of hungry tourists and kids who can get their sugar fix here with a Nutella, berries, and cream crepe.

Also, depending on what you order, Les Galadines falls somewhere in between a budget and mid-range eatery in central Paris.

Address: 57 Rue Galande, 75005 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Price: Around 9 Euros each.

Best Brunch in 6th and 7th Arrondisement

5. eggs & co..

Eggs & Co is located in the elegant Saint-Germain-des-Prés district near Montparnasse and is the perfect place to enjoy the best brunch in Paris amidst a wealth of divine, luxury boutiques.

After all, Paris is easily one of the most beautiful cities in France , and there are always wonderfully charming districts just waiting to be explored. In particular, Saint-Germain-des-Prés features a church of the same name that is the oldest in all of Paris.

And it is within this area that you can find lots of typical Parisian cafés and brasseries where you can go and laze around with a coffee while watching people pass by.

Now, if you get hungry after all that people watching, stop into Eggs & Co. It is an egg-based restaurant with very simple and clean, rustic plating.

In fact, it looks really French and features sides like parmesan cheese and young potatoes. So, even though this cafe is often crowded with tourists, the great food and the cute surrounding streets make it worth a visit, especially since they’ve got tables outside on each side of the road.

In particular, try the tasty benedict eggs that you can then mix and match with any side you choose at one of the best brunch places in Paris.

Address: 11 Rue Bernard Palissy, 75006 Paris, France

Hours; Open Thursday, Friday, and Monday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday/Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Price: 22 Euros.

6. Cafe de Flore

By:Helga of MIRA Digital

Cafe de Flore is one of the oldest coffee houses and restaurants in Paris. First opened in 1887, it was a hotspot for many famous people during the past century.

Today, this place is now enjoyed by chic Parisians , since you can dine here from early in the morning until well into the evening..

So, stop by for some crispy, early morning croissants or order the best brunch n Paris, which consists of a lobster-based salad with a dash of citrus and a sprinkling of avocado.

If you want, you can even visit one of the most famous cafes in Paris without a reservation for snacks or a drink. But, if you’d like to enjoy a meal here, it’s always best to make reservations in advance.

Now, for brunch at Cafe de Flore, you can choose to have one of several different types of omelets, fried or scrambled eggs, or various egg-based specialties.

As a result, the price will vary based on what you order. However, we paid €17.00 for an omelet with wild mushrooms for brunch since it’s a really fancy place and the prices reflect that.

Address: 172 Bd Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 7:30 am to 1:30 am.

Price: Around 17 Euros.

7. Cafe Gustave

An aerial view of a wooden table full of breakfast dishes with people around the edge eating.

By: Christine of Journey to France

Cafe Gustave sits just steps away from the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars, making it an ideal place to stop after sightseeing for the best brunch in Paris.

It’s also only a few steps away from the popular photo stop in Rue de l’Université with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Now, because of the cafe’s atmosphere, it’s particularly popular among traditional customers and tourists alike.

After all, it’s the type of cafe that most people consider to be typical of Paris, with charming sidewalk seating and a laid-back vibe.

In terms of food, Cafe Gustave serves iconic cafe and pub fare and offers an uncomplicated ala carte menu that is available all day long.

Therefore, you’ll enjoy the aroma of freshly brewed espresso wafting through the air as you walk past the red awning and choose your seat among the small bistro tables here.

Offerings here include everything from coffee and hot chocolate to Croque monsieurs and classic French dishes like Tartare de Beauf (€18) and Confit de canard (€20) for either brunch or dinner.

For brunch, start with Cafe Gustave’s crowd favorite onion soup (€9) and pair it with some beautiful smoked salmon (€18). Salads, sandwiches, and burgers are also available and start at around €14 each.

And if you want wine with your meal, glasses cost between €5 to €12 each while plats, or main courses, typically cost between €16 and €23.

Dessert lovers will also enjoy Cafe Gustave’s classic creme brulee (€9) or their decadent crepes (starting at €6).

However, Cafe Gustave is well-known not only for being a cool spot behind the Eiffel Tower but for its attentive and friendly staff.

As a result, it’s an ideal spot for a perfect Parisian brunch in a relaxed yet convenient location that is just a few steps away from the city’s best attractions.

Address: 23 Av. de la Bourdonnais, 75007 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 7:00 am to 12:00 am, except on Saturday and Sunday when they open at 8:00 am.

Price: Entrees start at around 14 Euros.

8. Maison Sauvage

La Maison Sauvage is iconic. You can’t walk past this gorgeous restaurant without looking at it twice.

In fact, they call it the wild house because of the myriad of flowers and plants that cover almost every aspect of it. To say that it is pretty is an understatement.

La Maison Sauvage is located in Saint-Germain-des-Pres, a historic district of the city.

It is a short distance away from most of the iconic monuments in the city and makes it the perfect break/start to a day of sightseeing or shopping.

The restaurant is also one of those famous spots for capturing the perfect instagram pics thanks to the array of colors that the flowers provide.

Another great thing is that it spans over two floors and the terrace, so there usually is a lot of seating space to go around.

This means that the wait time per table isn’t always too long. Despite the seating space, you will always find the La Maison Sauvage bustling!

It is after all one of the best (and most scenic) places for brunch in Paris.

Pro Tip: Know that reservations are only for the seats inside. Terrace seats are for walk-in clientele only!

Address: 5 Rue de Buci, 75006 Paris, France

Hours: Open everyday from 7am – 2 am

Price: Dishes start at 10 Euro per dish upwards. The weekend breakfast menu does have a nice

18th Arrondissement brunch for 16 Euros.

Best Brunch in the 8th and 9th Arrondissement

9. buvette gastrotheque.

Founded in 2011 by executive chef Jody Williams, you know this place has to serve the best brunch in Paris since they are now locations scattered all across the globe in London, Tokyo, NYC, and beyond.

And the specialty here is iconic, European bistro classics that are done exceptionally well.

So, admire the brick exterior of this modern French bistro near Montmartre and then step inside to enjoy chic decor that consists of a tin ceiling and historic artifacts adorning the walls.

Once you sit down, be sure to savor decadent classics like Croque monsieur, rich French toast made with custard cream, and  fresh scones with orange marmalade,

Honesty, I think this restaurant serves the best Croque monsieur in the city so if you only order one thing, let this be it.

Yes, it’s a little on the expensive side but it’s totally worth it and a true French delicacy that is well worth the calories.

Also, the coffee was just okay so the real stand out here is the food. Although, the fresh juice (apple, pineapple, melon) of the day was quite good so you can always go with that instead.

Address:  28 Rue Henry Monnier, 75009 Paris, France

Hours: Open Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 am and Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 am to 12:00 am. Brunch is served on the weekend from 10:30 am to 4:45 pm.

Price : Between 10 and 15 Euros each for an entree.

10. Laduree

By: Sophia and Aamir of Fly Eat and Repeat

brunch tour paris 13

When you think of Paris, almost everyone dreams of strolling down the iconic, luxurious, Champs-Elysees.

Now, what if we told you there was a place that allows you to luxuriate on the iconic avenue WHILE eating possibly the best brunch in Paris?

Well, Laduree is such a cafe and is globally hailed as THE place for authentic, French Macarons.

But, what many people don’t know is that this immortal restaurant also packs a strong punch when it comes to serving delicious savory treats at their beautiful, Champs-Elysees location.

Now, when you first step into this shop, it feels like you have stepped inside a decadent jewelry box.

After all, this Laduree store is one of their largest and features a tea room, a restaurant, and a takeaway bakery.

If you can, dress to impress since not only is this an upscale eatery but you’re in PARIS. So, if not here, then where?

You’ll also love that they have plenty of vegan options on the menu, in addition, to being extremely accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions.

As a result, they have an extensive menu that includes everything from Leek Quiche to a classic Vol-Au-Vent, meaning that there is something here to suit everyone’s taste.

Also, after enjoying brunch at this location, stop by the boutique and grab a box (or two) of fresh macarons before you go (the rose flavor is lovely). We promise you will say J’adore Paris!

Pro Tip: Try the spinach omelet or the French toast for brunch and then order the macaron and Plaisir sucre for dessert.

Address: 75 Av. des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm.

Price: A box of 6 macarons costs around 17 Euros.

Best Brunch in the 10th and 11th Arrondissement

11. hollybelly.

Five lemon ricotta pancakes sit on a white place with butter and syrup on the side as well as five blackberries. This is one of the best brunch places in NYC near the Freehand.

Holybelly has established itself as one of the premier brunch destinations in the city. It features a spacious dining area that is filled with natural light streaming in through large windows.

It has quickly become a favorite among freelancers since it is an epic spot to get a bit of work done.

Visitors can indulge in Holybelly’s signature dishes, like the Eggs and Sides which comes with two fried eggs, maple-glazed bacon, and grilled halloumi.

Truth be told, the Eggs and Sides is what I order every time I visit. However, the Savory Pancake Stack is also good and includes fried eggs, bacon, bourbon butter, and maple syrup.

Just pair it with a Deck & Donohue Pale Ale from Montreuil and get ready for a brunch to remember.

Address: 5 Rue Lucien Sampaix, 75010 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the final order at 4:00 pm.

Price: Most entrees are €14.50.

12. La Fontaine de Belleville

Looking for the best brunch in Paris? If so then mosey on over to La Fontaine de Belleville. it’s a classic, old-world style Parisian cafe that offers patrons live jazz music on the weekends.

And to restore this cafe to its former 1920’s era grandeur, the owners have lovingly outfitted the interior with expansive mirrors, enchanting ceilings, mesmerizing paintings, hand-painted tables, and rattan chairs.

However, what I really love about this place is that there’s an emphasis on using ethical, locally sourced, high-quality ingredients to create nothing but the finest of dishes – hence the high prices.

I mean, 9 Euros for French toast is a bit steep but it’s worth it since the quality is there.

Also pair basically anything you ingest with their next-level, amazing  Belleville Brûlerie coffee and prepare for the best caffeine experience of your life.

Okay, maybe “life” is a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean since the cafe creme is superb.

Pro Tip: If you can, eat on the sunny terrace that overlooks the intersection between rue la Grange aux Belles and Juliette Dodu. It’s a great place to relax and people watch.

Address: 31-33 Rue Juliette Dodu, 75010 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 8:00 am to 1:00 am, except Thursday through Saturday when they are open until 2:00 am.

Price: Around 9 Euros each for entrees.

13. Café Méricourt

Four giant pieces of French Toast covered in powdered sugar and strawberries on a white plate. It sits on a wooden table with a silver knife and fork on either side.

This cozy, casual, bright, all-day brunch spot is a great place to go for generous portions of Mediterranean and British-inspired cuisine.

And while it’s a smidge out of the way, it’s a welcoming, clean, and minimalist-style place that features lovely little accents that include cacti and wicker planters that stand out against the bright white walls.

It’s also brought to you by the same teamed that owned Cafe Oberkampf, so you know that the food is gonna be good. Which is why you should 100% order the shakshuka.

It’s a giant plate of baked egg with harissa, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onions, and various other spices that is basically the stuff that brunch dreams are made of.

Otherwise, opt for their sweet and decadent orange blossom pancakes, which are served with ricotta, poached pears, apples, pistachios. and a generous helping of maple syrup on the side.

And finally, pair your delightful best brunch Paris with a dirty chai latte or any of their espresso drinks for the ultimate brunch in Paris experience.

Just don’t forget to eat LOTS of bread while you’re here since that’s also REALLY good.

Pro Tip: This is another place with the best brunch in Paris where you can reserve a table online, in advance. So yeah, be sure to do that to avoid a line.

Address: 22 Rue de la Folie Méricourt, 75011 Paris, France

Hours: Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Price: Dishes start at 9 Euros but an entire meal will cost around 20 Euros.

This vibrant eatery on rue de la Main-d’Or has garnered a reputation among locals for serving the best brunch in Paris.

Presently, Aube offers its brunch menu on weekends only, though there are plans in motion to expand to weekdays soon.

The menu features fresh, predominantly vegetarian options and coffee from Mick’s. Plus, it changes regularly to reflect the availability of local ingredients.

I have been here many times and love the decor, attentive staff, and delicious food. Personal faves include the Caesar salad, the stracciatella, the beignets de courgettes, and the Euf de diable.

The latter is probably my fave since it reminds me of deviled eggs but way better since it is packed with tons of flavor. It’s also helpful that everyone here speaks English.

Address: Le Buffet, 8 Rue de la Main d’Or, 75011 Paris, France

Hours: Open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Price: Entrees are between €14.00 and €16.00 each.

Best Brunch in Paris in the 18th Arrondissement

15. chez plumeau.

By: Elisa of World in Paris

brunch tour paris 13

Chez Plumeau is an excellent place for the best brunch in Paris.

This small bistro is located in the picturesque neighborhood of Montmartre (Paris 18), not far from iconic attractions like the Sacre Coeur, the Dali Museum, and Place du Tertre.

So, it is the perfect place for a break after your walking tour of Montmartre .

This cute bistro sits on the site of an old cabaret that was popular with bohemian artists back in Montmartre’s heydays.

The decoration inside recalls the atmosphere of Montmartre’s historic cabarets with old stones, light brown paneling, and dark wood furniture.

Chez Plumeau’s setting is lovely, on a sunny square (Place du Calvaire) away from the crowds and with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Most of this square is also occupied by the bistro’s tables, making it an ideal place for eating and drinking on warm days.

In addition to the cafe’s fantastic ambiance, the bistro also offers delicious French food. All the dishes are prepared with seasonal produce, so the menu is always different.

And like with any restaurant in France, expect to find good French wines, usually from small wine producers.

And while the bistro does not take bookings in advance, finding a table at brunch time should not be a problem.

Pro Tip: Try the steak, salmon, snails, and onion soup. All of these dishes are done extremely well.

Address: 4 Place du Calvaire, 75018 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 11:00 am to 12:00 am.

Price: Most dishes are around 29 Euros so definitely a pricier restaurant.

16. The Hardware Société

By: Erin of Oregon Girl Around the World

brunch tour paris 13

Make your way up the hill to the cozy village setting of Montmartre for a unique and tasty take on French brunch.

Trust me, after a morning spent ogling the iconic Sacré Cœur and swooning over gorgeous vistas from above the city, take a turn down Rue Lamarck tucked down the right side of the white-domed church.

Here you’ll find the Parisian outpost of The Hardware Société. It’s home to the best brunch in Paris and manages to bring a little Australian flavor to your breakfast table.

Originally from Melbourne, the owners, Di and Will Keser, have created a charming space that regularly draws a crowd, resulting in significant wait times for a table.

It’s worth the wait though for mid-priced dishes like the “Eton Mess”, which is brioche french toast topped with passionfruit curd, chantilly cream, fresh berries, and meringue.

However, those craving something a bit more savory will be happy to devour Tiger Prawn Eggs Benedict with tarragon bearnaise or the decidedly not basic pork belly with fried eggs, a spicy mojo sauce, and cherry tomato confit.

Finally, wash it all down with a perfect flat white made with Aussie roaster Padre beans that are flown in directly from Melbourne on a regular basis.

Pro Tip: Try to get a seat by the window in the back for wonderful views of the surrounding neighborhood.

Address: 10 Rue Lamarck, 75018 Paris, France

Hours: Open Thursday through Monday from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Price: Entrees start at 14.50 Euros.

17. Le Consulat

By: Dympha of Dymabroad

The Instagram awesomeness of Le Consulat in Montmartre, Paris.

One of the best brunch spots in Paris is Le Consulat . This is a lovely, mid-range restaurant that you can find in the Montmartre area.

When you dine here, you can sample a variety of dishes that are perfect for brunch. For example, you have here delicious crêpes, salads, and a variety of omelets.

Besides that, there are all kinds of French main dishes that often are accompanied by great fries! Additionally, the exterior of the place makes the restaurant really stand out.

That’s because, on the outside, you can see the name of the restaurant together with an iconic awning that features red and green stripes.

As a result, the stunning facade of the restaurant makes it one of the most Instagramamble places in Paris .

Furthermore, the history of Le Consulat makes the place an interesting place for lunch. In the past, when many artists lived in Montmartre, some of these artists enjoyed dining here, including iconc like Picasso and Monet.

Also, what’s great is that this restaurant sits in the center of Montmartre, where you’ll find lovely Parisian streets.

Moreover, the most famous sight nearby is Sacré-Cœur, a beautiful church that is worth visiting and from where you can get an amazing view of the city of Paris!

Address: 18 Rue Norvins, 75018 Paris, France

Hours: Open daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Price: Around 15 Euros for an entree.

18. La Bossue

La Bossue is a treat in itself. From Madelines to cakes and all things brunch this is spot is a treat to the palette.

What sets La Bossue apart from the zillions of other cafes that offer brunch? I think it is the personal touch that goes into preparing the menu.

Everything is homemade so the taste is exquisite. I mean have nothing against the large chains but there is something special about the grandmother-style kitchen which has gone out of style in Paris today.

One thing that you really have to try is the range of viennoiseries.

The crispy flaky layers of croissants, the melt in the mouth (drool worthy!) pains au chocolat, and the brioches that are baked to perfection sell out in the blink of an eye.

Did I mention that the bread is baked from scratch? It is the perfect accompaniment to any dish that you pick up in the day.

Pro Tip: There is limited seating and the La Bossue is usually booked out in advance. No surprise right? Make sure that you reserve your spot in advance!

This is particularly true when it comes to holidays and weekends.

Address: 9 Rue Joseph de Maistre, 75018 Paris

Hours: Open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 am – 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 am – 6:30 pm. La Bossue is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Price: Brunch is a buffet and it is priced at 29.50 Euros a head. It includes everything including a hot beverage!

Boulom combines the allure of a restaurant, bakery, and a secret cocktail bar into one multifaceted venue.

Conceived by Julien Duboué, it features a spacious, well-lit dining area that is perfectly accented by a grand buffet in the center.

The buffet is flanked by elongated tables that sit beneath a vibrant green ceiling, making this an epic spot where the decor is almost as good as the food.

However, the real highlight of your visit is an all-inclusive, weekend, brunch buffet that starts at €53.00 per person.

Sure, it’s a bit expensive. But, it’s worth it if you want to dig into black pudding terrine, succulent eggs, delicious mimosas, and an array of desserts from the dessert station.

Plus, with extensive cold and hot bars to dig into, you’ll never run out of things to eat at one of the best-hidden gems in Paris .

It’s also one of the best places to go in winter in Paris since the food is very filling.

Address: 181 Rue Ordener, 75018 Paris, France

Hours: Brunch is served from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Price: €53.00 per person.

Best Places for Brunch in Paris: Our Picks

Last Updated on January 22, 2020

It’s not always easy to find a decent brunch in Paris– or anywhere, for that matter. These days, brunch seems to be a bit hit-or-miss in the capital. Either the food isn’t quite up-to-par—portion or quality wise—or it’s too expensive; sometimes both are true.

The best brunch in Paris: Here, ricotta and blackberry pancakes from Big Love Caffe are one essential weekend treat.

The late and great Anthony Bourdain’s observation that buffet brunches are too often assembled from the week’s kitchen leftovers can ring all too true at some places.

Not to mention that many Parisians see brunch less as an occasion to eat, and more as an excuse for early-afternoon gathering and gossiping after a long, boozy night out. This has encouraged some places to emphasize ambience over substance.

Luckily, there are some great brunch spots in Paris that have met the challenge of serving delicious food at reasonable prices. Here are my top six picks, in no particular order.

Explore This Article

1. Le Pavillon Des Canaux: The perfect location

Le Pavillon des Canaux, one of the best places for brunch in Paris

In this quirky old two-story house overlooking the Canal de L’Ourcq, you can enjoy brunch outside on the vast terrace– or inside one of the many cozy, pastel-colored rooms, each decorated to resemble the interiors of a home.

Two brunch options are available (both vegetarian) and include unlimited beverages, bread with artisanal jam, and two mini-pastries, in addition to a choice of desserts.

Nearby: The 104 Arts Center, a Hotspot for Contemporary Creation

And when you’re down to your last bit of seasonal fruit salad or chocolate cake, take a stroll around the house– why not catch a power nap in the comfy bedroom?

What makes this brunch spot a must-try is the homely atmosphere and copious portions. At Le Pavillon des Canaux , it’s like eating at home– only better.

Must-try brunch treat: The Dolce Vita plate (burrata, pesto, tomato confit and olive-oil focaccia bread)

Getting There

  • Address : 39 Quai de la Loire, 75019 Paris
  • Metro: Jaures or Ourq
  • Tel: + 33 (0) 1 73 71 82 90
  • Visit the official website

2. Le China: Décor is everything

brunch tour paris 13

Located on a small street in close reach of the beloved Aligre market and the Place de la Bastille, Le China offers one of the best buffet-style brunches in Paris.

With its padded brown leather couches, checkered floors and white-clothed tables, this Asian bar-restaurant turns Sunday brunch into a far-flung and almost-glamorous experience (think 1930s Shanghai).

Scrambled eggs, charcuterie, cheeses, salmon, bacon, potatoes, sautéed vegetables, dim sums or dumplings: take your pick, the selection here is nearly endless.

You can also take your pick from among the usual brunch favorites, including all-you-can-eat fresh pastries and pancakes.

Must-try brunch treat: the dim sum

  • Address : 50 rue de Charenton, 75012 Paris
  • Metro: Ledru-Rollin
  • Tel: +33 (0) 1 43 46 08 09

3. La Petite Fabrique: Organic all-around

Image: La Petite Fabrique/Facebook

Located in an inviting alleyway in the northeasterly 20th arrondissement, this organic eatery serves great seasonal products year-round, amid a pared-down décor of wooden tables and large, glass-paneled windows.

While the brunch menu is by no means innovative, it remains effective and appealing, relying on fresh and flavorful ingredients to impress.

The organic label can be a hard one to live up to, and eating healthy can sometimes mean bland-tasting food at inflated prices. At La Petite Fabrique , whether you decide to go with the carnivorous or vegetarian brunch, you’ll get value for your money. Plus, the desserts are to die for.

Must-try brunch treat: the apple crumble

  • Address : 15 rue des Vignoles, 75020 Paris
  • Metro: Buzenval or Avron
  • Tel: +33 (0) 1 43 73 57 88

4. Jah Jah by le Tricycle: Vegan with a twist

brunch tour paris 13

Blending Caribbean, Indian and South American flavors, brunch at Jah Jah by le Tricyle is more than just a vegan treat. This eatery in the traditionally working-class, rapidly-gentrifying 10th arrondissement is known for its tasty cuisine and friendly ambiance.

Here, world music plays and the walls are strewn with portraits of Bob Marley: a welcome alternative to the sometimes ascetic decor favored by health-food restaurants. Eating at Jah Jah feels like a genuine getaway.

Create your own brunch menu with a choice of favor-packed vegan hot dogs and bowls, and let your taste buds embark on a wild ride!

  • Address : 11 rue des Petites Ecuries, 75010 Paris

5. Biglove Caffé: The Italian Dolce Vita

Image: Big Mamma Caffe/Facebook. Brunch here includes delicious Italian pancakes with ricotta

No need to rush out of bed or suffer the long line to get in here: brunch at Biglove Caffé is served all day long on the weekends.

Eggs benedict, truffle omelette, tartines and ricotta pancakes with berries make up the brunch menu and are as delicious as they sound. Pair these with a big latte or cappuccino and simply enjoy.

The ambiance at Biglove Caffé is what you’d expect from an Italian trattoria: warm and cozy. Here, traditional products are on display (large hams line the counters) and you can smell Napolitan-style pizzas cooking to a nice crisp in the wood-fired ovens.

Food is served on blue and white china, and the décor mixing copper, marble, leather and wood add to the “ la dolce vita ” experience of a lazy Sunday spent someplace in southern Italy.

6. Le Bal Café Otto: Brunch-so-British

Selling someone on the appeal of British food at an Austrian place isn’t the easiest of tasks, but brunch at Café Otto will make anyone an instant convert.

Formerly a cabaret, the space is now home to a cool museum café adorned with documentary photography; it also happens to serve one of the best brunches in Paris.

The affordable menu, which changes seasonally, includes porridge, scones, bacon and other British classics. All all prepared by a team of trained chefs.

Tucked in a narrow alleyway in the 18 th arrondissement, and part of independent art center Le Bal, Café Otto is a chic and elegant place where both your appetite for art and delicious food will be sated.

The visit experience

Vue depuis le 2ème étage sur le sommet de la tour Eiffel

01 – Book your ticket for this exceptional offer online

Important: places are very limited for this Sunday morning offer and tickets are only available via the official online ticket office of the Eiffel Tower. We recommend booking as far in advance as possible: tickets go on sale 60 days before the desired date. On the day of your visit, your time-stamped ticket gives you access to the pillar without having to go to the on-site ticket office. Please arrive on time: 10:30am on the esplanade. Your visit begins with an ascent to the top because all visits to the Eiffel Tower start with the highest floor.

02- The breathtaking ascent to the summit

Taking an elevator at the Eiffel Tower is a moving experience: not only are you travelling aboard a masterpiece of engineering like none other in the world, but you can admire Paris spreading out before you as you ascend. At the second floor, you will change elevator to travel to the Top. What awaits you next is the thrilling experience of arriving at the top and discovering the panoramic view from a height of 906 feet. Breathtaking!

03- Make your way back down and explore

On the way back down, admire the panoramic views on the second and first floors. Each floor of the Tower offers a unique view of the Parisian skyline and its monuments, as well as the structure of the Tower. When you arrive at the second floor, don’t forget to look up to admire the slender silhouette of the Iron Lady! If you have time, take the stairs to go down to the first floor from the second, to admire the heart of the structure of a pillar.

04- After all that exercise, time for a gourmet brunch at Madame Brasserie!

Go to the first floor to enjoy your gastronomic experience. The team at Madame Brasserie will welcome you to the lounge in an intimate atmosphere from 12:30pm. This relaxing space affords stunning views of the Seine and the Trocadero. True to his values, Thierry Marx has designed a menu that showcases Parisian cuisine using carefully selected local produce (Île de France region). Settle into one of the lounge chairs and take your choice from the menu. The decision is hard, but foodies and gourmets will find everything to satisfy their desires!

05 – Details of the Brunch menu

Madame Brasserie offers a range of pastries and breads with jams, honey, butter and homemade spreads, as well as cold meats and cheeses from the best artisans in Paris. The brunch includes a choice of one savory dish. Opt for the super-fluffy savory waffle with its accompaniment (choice of three), such as blue lobster with roasted zucchini or farmhouse chicken, or let yourself be tempted by the gourmet Eggs Benedict with a choice of tender Germon tuna or cooked ham from Île-de-France and Comté cheese. The desserts buffet brings the meal to a masterly close with seasonal fruit tarts, chocolate cream and farmhouse fromage blanc made with Île-de-France chestnut honey and whipped cream. For drinks, choose from a range of coffees, teas, and infusions, as well as freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice.

If you do anything while you’re in Paris, make sure it’s enjoying a good, long brunch.

brunch tour paris 13

Paris is known for its incredible food scene, aesthetically pleasing cafés serving up insta-worthy dishes, and of course, its legendary brunch spots. The French have mastered the art of taking their time with meals and savoring every bite, and brunch is no exception.

I have personally enjoyed eating my way through this city in the three years that I’ve lived here, and have still so many more restaurants on my to-do list that I have yet to discover! One of my favorite things about this city is the vast array of cuisines and brunch foods available.

You can find anything from healthy acai bowls to a decadent eggs benedict, all while people-watching on a lovely Parisian terrace.

There’s truly no better way to spend Sunday mornings than enjoying one of the city’s best brunches with a cold drink, crispy pastries, hot chocolate or coffee, and some fresh fruit.

If you love brunch as much as me, these are my top picks for the best brunch places in Paris.

Is brunch a thing in Paris?

If you’ve traveled to France at all in your lifetime, then you’d probably agree that Paris is usually not the first place that comes to mind when you think of cities with a buzzing brunch scene.

While this dazzling city is known for its baguettes, pain au chocolat, cheese, and wine, it’s not typically known as a place to enjoy a leisurely weekend brunch like in New York or London.

In fact, you may even be thinking: Does brunch in Paris even exist?

The short answer: Yes, brunch in Paris is a common thing nowadays! The rise of the brunch scene in Paris has been relatively recent, but it has quickly become a weekend staple for many Parisians and visitors alike.

The Slow Rise of Brunch Culture in Paris

In recent years there has been a real rise in the popularity of brunching in the city of love- Restaurants are catering more and more to those who want to enjoy a luxurious, late breakfast or an early lunch, and Parisians are slowly but surely getting on board with the trend.

One of the reasons for this may be that a lot of people are working later and later hours, and so brunch provides the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends or family over a leisurely meal without having to get up too early on a Sunday morning.

Another reason may be that Parisians are simply becoming more and more interested in food and trying new things, and what better way to do that than by enjoying all the different types of brunch foods on offer in the city’s many restaurants?

Whatever the reasons, it’s clear that brunch has well and truly arrived in the city. And luckily for you, there are plenty of incredible places to enjoy a leisurely brunch in Paris, from classic French fare to international cuisine. No matter what you’re in the mood for, Paris has a spot that will serve up exactly what you need!

So if you’re visiting the city and looking for somewhere to enjoy a good meal, make sure to check out one of these 7 delicious places to enjoy brunch in Paris.

7 Delicious Restaurants with the Best Brunch in Paris

Holybelly 5.

holybelly 5

Location: 5 Rue Lucien Sampaix, 75010 Paris

Price range : €€

Why I like it: The food is AMAZING. Seriously, some of the best I’ve had in Paris. They have a great selection of both sweet and savory dishes, as well as an impressive drinks menu. The service is also wonderful- the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

What to order: The poached egg on housemade brioche and a breakfast cocktail (or coffee)

Hours: Open daily from 9am to 5pm

This industrial-chic style café is one of the most popular brunch spots in Paris, and for good reason.

The line is always out the door on weekends, but it’s worth the wait! The food is amazing, and the service is super friendly (which admittedly can be hard to come by when it comes to the customer service experience in Paris).

On the menu at Holybelly 5 , you’ll find a variety of both sweet and savory dishes. There are pancakes, eggs benedict, chia pudding, and so much more. The portions are large, and the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend their classic Holybelly BLT, it’s to die for!

For a bit more of a breakfast twist on this classic sandwich, I added a fried egg and some avocado to mine for $2 extra. Worth it!

My friends ordered the savory stack pancakes, which is a classic stack of sweet pancakes topped with a fried egg, two strips of maple smoked bacon, and drizzled in maple syrup. I may or may not have stolen a few bites off their plates, it was that good.

That’s what friends are for though, am I right?

holybelly 5 brunch in Paris

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, they also have a selection of pancakes with roasted hazelnuts, fresh berries, and whipped cream.

And of course, you can’t forget about their famous poached egg on homemade brioche. It’s plated alongside sauteed spinach, zucchini, and artichokes and comes with a side of parmesan butter sauce.

We both decided to wash our meals down with an espresso and their signature breakfast cocktail “The 1940’s Red Snapper”. It’s a mix of celery-infused gin, HP sauce, organic tomato juice, and jalapeño slices for a bit of added spice. It’s basically Holybelly’s take on the classic Bloody Mary, and it did not disappoint!

I didn’t even know I liked Bloody Marys until I tried this one, and now I’m hooked.

If you’re looking for a delicious, no-fuss meal and amazing service to match, Holybelly 5 is the place to go.

The service is commendable, the cozy atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it’s truly worth the hype. The portions are large and filling, so come here with a big appetite.

It’s definitely earned its spot at the top of my list for the best brunches in Paris!

Just be sure to get there early on weekends to beat the line.

The Hardware Société

brunch tour paris 13

Location: 10 Rue Lamarck, 75018 Paris

Price range: €€

Why I like it: The menu is a unique blend of Australian and French cuisine, and the food is absolutely incredible. The vibe is also really cool and relaxed, and the staff is super attentive and accommodating.

What to order: The chorizo and baked eggs platter or fried brioche topped with strawberries and vanilla marscapone

Hours: Open daily from 9:30am to 4pm

If you’re looking for a good brunch spot in the 18th arrondissement, this is your place.

Situated in the Montmartre quarter of Paris nestled in the shadows of the Sacré Coeur,  The Hardware Société  is a beautiful Aussie-style café that aims to redefine the idea of breakfast and brunch.

The inside of the restaurant is very bright and airy, with high ceilings and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. They even have a small outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a meal on sunny days in Paris.

The staff is friendly and extremely welcoming as soon as you step in the door, which reminded me a lot of the brunch restaurants I used to frequent back home in the states and made me feel right at home.

The menu at The Hardware Société  is very extensive and offers a wide variety of both sweet and savory dishes, as well as an impressive drinks menu. I ordered the “deux” baked eggs dish, which comes with chorizo, potatoes, pimento, queso manchego, and aioli. It was so good that I practically licked my plate clean!

My friend ordered the fried brioche, which is a stack of 3 large brioche slices served with fresh strawberries, whipped vanilla mascarpone, lemon thyme, and strawberry syrup. The brioche was light and fluffy and melted in your mouth.

Seriously one of the best brunch dishes I’ve ever had!

brunch tour paris 13

I was absolutely stuffed by the time I finish my meal, but I decided to order one of their signature breakfast cocktails anyway to help wash it all down.

So, I went with the “Coffee Negroni” option, which is a mix of gin, sweet vermouth, Campari bitter liqueur, and of course, espresso coffee. Normally I don’t like gin but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this cocktail!

It was the perfect mix of bitter and sweet and went down way too easily. It was a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up that woke me right up.

Hardware Société also sells their own merchandise here, like their in-house coffee beans, their signature “No Eggs on Toast” tote bags, and their No Eggs on Toast cookbook. So if you’re looking for a unique souvenir to bring home with you from your trip to Paris, this is the perfect place to find it!

Overall, I absolutely loved my experience at The Hardware Société and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and friendly service in a beautiful setting. It’s a unique blend of European sensibility mixed with Australian charm, and it shows in everything from the food to the décor.

They have an extensive brunch menu that’ll surely satisfy your taste buds, and the great service from the wait staff definitely doesn’t hurt either.

If you find yourself on the hunt for brunch in Paris and decide to check this place out, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Just be warned that it can get pretty crowded on weekends and they don’t take reservations at the Paris location, all tables are open on a first-come-first-serve basis only. So be sure to arrive early to snag a table!

Note : They’ve also got locations in Melbourne and Barcelona, so if you’re ever in either of those cities be sure to check them out as well!

Sadelle’s at Kith

sadelles at kith

Location : 49 Rue Pierre Charron, 75008 Paris

Why I like it : The vintage-style décor is really cool and trendy, and the food is great with good portion sizes at decent prices.

What to order: The fresh brioche French toast or the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon

Hours: Open daily from 10am to 6pm

If you’re a fellow American, and more specifically an East Coaster, then you’re probably familiar with the New York-based restaurant chain Sadelle’s. And if you are, then you’ll be happy to know that they’ve recently opened up a new restaurant location in Paris!

Sadelle’s is high up on the list of best brunch spots in NYC , and it has equally earned its spot here on the list of brunch gems in Paris.

Situated on Rue Pierre Charon in the 8th arrondissement,  Sadelle’s at Kith  is a beautiful café that is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely brunch with friends. The space is large and airy, with high ceilings, and a sunroof giving off plenty of natural light.

Sadelle’s is one of the best brunch places for Americans in Paris looking for a little taste of home.

The menu  features all of your favorite Sadelle’s dishes like bagels and smoked salmon, eggs Benedict, and pancakes. And of course, no meal here would be complete without one of their delicious freshly-baked pastries!

brunch tour paris 13

I ordered the eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint. The hollandaise sauce was light and creamy, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The smoked salmon added a nice salty flavor to the dish, and the whole thing was served on top of a fluffy English muffin.

My friend Erin ordered the pancakes, which came with fresh berries, whipped cream, and maple syrup. The pancakes were nice and thick, and the berries added a lovely pop of color and sweetness to the dish.

They give extremely generous portions here – both dishes were HUGE! This was great for us because it gave us the opportunity to share and try a little bit of everything.

brunch tour paris 13

The service here was wonderful and the staff was very friendly, despite it being super busy. Our waitress was attentive and even gave us some great recommendations on what to order, which we greatly appreciated!

Despite Sadelle’s being a New York-based chain, it definitely had a Parisian feel to it and fits in perfectly with its surroundings.

And the prices were not at all like New York prices, which we were definitely thankful for!

We had a great experience at Sadelle’s at Kith and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for some tasty brunch offerings in a beautiful setting. It’s located inside of a department store, so it’s the ideal place to stop and refuel after a day of shopping.

The décor at Sadelle’s is gorgeous and makes for a great Sunday brunch in Paris photo op!

Calling for advance booking is ideal here; you’ll want to make a reservation at this place to ensure you get a table! It’s usually packed to the brim with people.

But you’ll be able to walk around the store a bit and do some window-shopping while you wait for your table, so it’s not all bad!

Frenchie To Go

frenchie to go brunch in paris

Location: 9 Rue du Nil, 75002 Paris

Why I like it: Its classic “American” food menu gives this place a nostalgic feel, and the small-but-cozy space is perfect for a casual meal with friends.

What to order: The Reuben pastrami sandwich (of course!) or the Chicago hot dog

Hours: Monday-Wednesday 11am to 6pm, Thursday-Saturday 11am to 10pm, open 9am to 6pm on Sundays

This is another great place for hot drinks and pastries, or a light meal if you’re on the go.

Frenchie To Go  is located in the 2nd arrondissement and is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite before exploring all that Paris has to offer. The space is small but very cute, with exposed brick walls and hanging plants.

The menu at Frenchie To Go  offers a French-style twist on classic American foods like hot dogs, pastrami sandwiches, and mac & cheese. The founder of this place said that he wanted the menu to reflect all the street foods he ate while living and traveling abroad in London and New York, and it definitely shows!

I ordered the “Hot Chicago Dog”, which is a beef hot dog topped with gruyere cheese, caramelized onions, and your choice of pastrami or crispy bacon. I have to admit, it was delicious!

The hot dog itself was very juicy and flavorful, and the toppings were the perfect addition. I went for the bacon option and it was cooked to perfection.

My only complaint is that the bun was a little too big for the hot dog, but that’s a minor detail.

frenchie to go brunch in paris

My friend ordered the pastrami sandwich, which came topped with red cabbage coleslaw and pickles, and she opted for a side of fries to go with her sandwich. The sandwich was very hearty and filling, and the coleslaw added a nice crunch. The fries were also cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely.

Frenchie To Go is one of the best places for a quick and tasty meal. The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable.

I liked the fact that it was a smaller more cozy kinda place, and it really seemed like this was one of the  places to go in Paris that only locals know about . This definitely helped to make it feel a lot less overwhelming than most of the other brunch spots in Paris that are always overflowing with people.

We actually got to relax a bit and talk while we enjoyed our meal here, which was definitely a plus!

If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat in the late morning or early afternoon in Paris, I would definitely recommend stopping by Frenchie To Go!

brunch tour paris 13

Location: 22 Rue Montmarte 75001 (1st arrondissement) and 159 Rue de Grenelle, 75007 (7th arrondissement)

Price range : €

Why I like it: Simple, straightforward breakfast and pastry menu in a cozy setting

What to order: The ricotta, fried egg and avocado toast, pain perdu (french toast), or any of the delicious pastries!

Hours : Open daily from 9am to 6pm

Marcelle  is a great brunch spot in Paris if you’re looking for somewhere that’s a cozy, casual mix of both a bakery and a traditional café. This place has two locations, one in the 1st arrondissement and one in the 7th arrondissement (near the Eiffel Tower), so it’s easy to find no matter where you’re staying in the city.

They offer a  simple but delicious menu  of both sweet and savory dishes, as well as a wide selection of pastries, baked goods, and fresh juices.

My friends and I stopped by this place looking for some food to bring us back to life after a long night out, and we were not disappointed. We started with a cinnamon roll to share, which ended up being huge!

marcelle paris

Even with the three of us, we could barely finish it. But it was fluffy and soft with just the right amount of sweetness. Marcelle’s cinnamon rolls are definitely some of the best I’ve ever had.

For our main dishes, two of us got the salmon eggs benedict while one got the avocado toast.

The eggs benedict were very good, and it was exactly what I needed. The hollandaise sauce light and flavorful, and was perfectly made and not at all runny like it often is at some breakfast places. The salmon was fresh and the side salad was also a nice touch.

I needed some fresh fruit juice to bring me back to life after the night we had, so I opted for a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice to go along with my breakfast.

My friend was nice enough to let me sneak a few bites of her avocado toast, which was equally as good and was very filling. The avocado was perfectly ripe and creamy, and the toast was crispy but not too hard. The toast was topped with ricotta and a fried egg which I thought was interesting and made for a unique blend of flavors.

marcelle eggs benedict

All in all, I think Marcelle is a great place to enjoy some tasty brunch food in a casual setting with friends.

The food is tasty and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It was a quiet and comfy place to enjoy some good conversation and recap the night with friends over a meal.

They also have a wide selection of pastries to take to-go if you’re in a hurry!

If you’re looking for a relaxed spot for brunch in Paris that won’t break the bank, Marcelle is definitely the place to go. It’s more of a coffee shop vibe that also serves food and fresh bread, so you could also stop at this place just for a cup of coffee or a hot drink.

Sunday in Soho

brunch tour paris 13

Location: 7 Rue Saint-Marc, 75002 Paris

Why I like it: Bottomless mimosas, unique and creative menu items, great for people watching and taking aesthetic brunch photos. Did I mention bottomless mimosas?

What to order: The chicken and waffles or “Notorious BEC”

Hours: Open daily from 9am to 5pm, as well as 6:30pm to 10:30pm on Thursday-Saturday

Another New York City-inspired brunch place,  Sunday in Soho  is a great place to go for a leisurely and decadent brunch with friends.

Their menu offers both sweet and savory dishes like deli sandwiches, egg dishes, pancakes, and veggie bowls. The space is large and airy with high ceilings, and the walls are adorned with chic black-and-white photos of Paris and motivational sayings.

This iconic Parisian brunch spot has been growing in popularity in recent months due to going viral on Tiktok, so you know I had to test it out for myself.

The menu at Sunday in Soho  was a actually pleasant surprise. In addition to the classic brunch dishes that I was expecting, they also had a few more unique items on the menu, like a Philly cheesesteak and chicken and waffles.

The names they chose for the food items on their menu were also super cute and catchy, like “The Notorious BEC”, a bacon, cheddar, and egg sandwich dish; and a bacon, potato, and egg scramble called “Eggspectations.”

They’ve even got a Mediterranean-style vitality bowl on the menu named after Queen B herself, “the Beyoncé”.

I ended up ordering the “Southern Belle” which was a breakfast burger with fried chicken and cheddar cheese, smothered in gravy and topped with a sunny-side-up egg. It also came with a side of breakfast potatoes, which were delicious and crispy.

The sandwich was absolutely amazing and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, hands down.

brunch tour paris 13

The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the gravy added the perfect amount of richness and flavor to the dish. The cheddar cheese brought all the flavors together perfectly. It was a messy dish, but so worth it.

My favorite thing about Sunday in Soho is that they offer bottomless mimosas and bottomless Bloody Sundays for just $20 per person. Bottomless mimosas are pretty much a staple brunch item back home in the States, but it’s almost unheard of for any other breakfast or brunch restaurant to offer them here in France.

I definitely enjoyed throwing back some mimosas with friends and reminiscing about fun times back home; it couldn’t have been a more  perfect way to spend a Sunday in Paris .

Sunday in Soho is the place for you if you’re looking for a fun and vibrant place to enjoy a boozy brunch with friends. The atmosphere is fun and casual, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service was great, and our food came out pretty quickly considering how busy the place was.

If you’re looking for a new spot to try out for brunch in Paris, this place is definitely worth checking out. They also offer a veggie brunch here, so those looking for some vegetarian options should check this place out.

Just be sure to  make a reservation online in advance  because this place gets packed, and it’s almost impossible to get a table without one.

Wild & The Moon

brunch tour paris 13

Location(s): 55 Rue Charlot, 75003 (3rd arrondissement); 138 Rue Amelot, 75011 (11th arrondissement); 4 Rue du Helder, 75009 Paris (9th arrondissement); and 19 Pl. du Marché Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris (1st arrondissement)

Why I like it: All organic and vegan food options as well as fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, and veggie bowls. A great place with a variety of food options that’ll suit everyone

What to order: The “Rawliflower” salad bowl, truffle pizza, or the “Acai Bowl”

Hours: Open daily from 9am to 9pm

This hipster hangout is one of the most popular places for brunch in Paris, and for good reason. Located in Le Marais in the trendy 3rd arrondissement,  Wild & The Moon  is a plant-based restaurant that offers healthy and delicious food options  on their menu .

They have a wide variety of juices, smoothies, bowls, salads, and wraps to choose from. I ordered the “Simply Green” juice, which was a mix of kale, cucumber, apple, fennel, and spirulina.

It was the perfect refreshment after a long night out and helped to wake me up and get me ready for the day ahead.

My friends and I were starving this day so we decided to split one of their frozen bowls as an appetizer while we waited for our meals to come out. We decided on the “Six Pack Protein Granola Bowl”, which was a blend of sliced bananas, peanut butter, vegan protein, almond milk, and homemade granola.

It was the perfect little snack to tide us over until our main dishes arrived.

brunch tour paris 13

For my main dish, I ordered the truffle pizza, which was a thin-crust pizza topped with mushrooms, truffle oil, and vegan cheese. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, vegan or not. The dough was light and crispy, and the toppings were flavorful and plentiful.

I’m honestly not used to eating vegan foods and I was surprised at how good it was!

My friends both chose the “Rawliflower” salad bowl, which was a mix of quinoa, kale, roasted cauliflower, avocado, and sunflower seeds. They both enjoyed it and said it was filling and satisfying.

Honestly, I was really impressed with Wild & The Moon. The food was healthy and delicious, and the service was great. The prices were a bit on the high side, but I think it’s worth it for the quality of food you’re getting.

If you’re looking for great brunch places in Paris that offer both vegan and gluten-free options, this is definitely the place to go.

Side note:  This place also has locations in Amsterdam, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and NYC!

Too Restaurant, on a testé le sublime restaurant panoramique de Paris, menu et photos

Too Restaurant - Too hôtel Paris - photos - menu - entrées

Too Restaurant - Too hôtel Paris - photos - menu

Too Restaurant - Too hôtel Paris - photos - menu

Too Restaurant - Too hôtel Paris - photos - menu

Place ensuite au plat. On opte pour l'incroyable Short ribs Angus maturé au fondant incomparable avec sa sauce saké et yakinuku au poivre, une belle découverte. On se régale également des Gambas sautées au tamarin et cébette comme à Jakarta.

Too Restaurant - Too hôtel Paris - photos - menu - ribs

Where to Find the Best Brunch in Paris!

By: Author Sophie Nadeau

Posted on Last updated: 12th October 2023

Categories Food and Drink , Paris

Last Updated on 12th October 2023 by Sophie Nadeau

If there’s one meal which screams ‘weekend with friends’ it’s brunch. Though more commonly found across London or New York, there has been a surprising rise in the number of midday meal venues in the French capital over the past few years, a few of which are totally worth visiting during your trip. Here’s where to find the best brunch in Paris (and what to order at each)!

sunday in soho

Please note that many of the restaurants listed below are now available on the application Skeepit . For restaurants that don’t have brunch bookings available, Skeepit is a virtual queueing app where you can reserve your place in the queue without actually standing in the queue ahead of your visit to the restaurant in question.

Sunday in Soho, 7 Rue Saint-Marc, 75002 Paris

The hoxton, 30-32 rue du sentier, 75002 paris, café oberkampf, 3 rue neuve popincourt, 75011 paris [permanently closed]  , café méricourt, 22 rue de la folie méricourt, 75011 paris, café de flore, 172 boulevard saint-germain, 75006 paris, treize bakery paris, 5 rue de médicis, 75006 paris, la main noire, 12 rue cavallotti, 75018 paris, saint pearl, 38 rue des saints-pères, 75007 paris, aujourd’hui demain, 42 rue du chemin vert, 75011 paris, wild & the moon, 25 rue des gravilliers, 75003 paris, holybelly, 5 rue lucien sampaix, 75010 paris, the hardware société paris, 10 rue lamarck, 75018 paris, patrol paris, 2 pl. edmond rostand, 75006 paris, kafkaf, 7 rue keller, 75011 paris, café mareva république, 75011 paris, best brunch in paris.

While I used to say that Sunday in Soho was my favourite brunch place in the city (I’ve been close to a dozen times) , my experience in early January 2022 was not what I experienced on earlier occasions and I’m not sure that I would rush back any time soon.

The service was incredibly slow, some of the slowest I’ve experienced anywhere in Paris. Unfortunately, my partner and I arrived at half past one (as per our reservation) and it took close to quarter of an hour for the staff to come and greet us. It was then over half an hour before we were able to order anything!

If you’re looking for a spot for your next Sunday brunch in Paris, and wish to reserve in advance, then you’re in the right place. After all, there aren’t many places in the French capital where you can reserve your table in advance.

Situated in the second arrondissement of the city , this brunch, lunch, and dining venue offers a variety of American-style brunch options including avocado toast, sweet berry pancakes, and granola bowls.

If you’re looking to particularly splurge out, then you can even opt to order a cocktail such as a mimosa together with your meal. You should note that you can also reserve brunch spots for several weeks in advance.

Due to the sheer popularity of Sunday in Soho, particularly during the weekends, I highly recommend booking a table ahead of your visit so as to avoid disappointment. To make reservations in advance, visit their website.

brunch in paris: sunday in soho

Set against the backdrop of an 18th-century Hôtel Particulier, the chic four-star hotel of The Hoxton is easily one of the best places to stay in the Rive Droite area of the city and boasts amenities such as contemporary bathrooms, a cocktail bar, and several other eateries.

Even if you’re not planning to splurge on accommodation during your Paris trip, the good news is that The Hoxton’s various dining areas are open to non-hotel guests, including for brunch at the weekends.

Though the portions are significantly smaller than those found at other venues (and so thus this wouldn’t be my first choice for brunch in Paris), such as Sunday in Soho, I’ve often found that it’s easier to find a table at The Hoxton due to its sheer size. Highlights of the menu include speciality coffees and fresh berry pancakes.

In good weather, there is also an indoor courtyard terrace area where you can enjoy your food under the sun. You can reserve a table at the Hoxton Rivié restaurant in advance. Check out The Hoxton Rivié restaurant website here.

Please note that as of the 15th Augsut 2021, the decision has been taken by the owners to permanently close Café Oberkampf. Luckily, the same menu can still be found at the nearby Café Méricourt. As its name would suggest, Café Oberkampf can be found on rue Oberkampf, in the chic and trendy 11th arrondissement of the city.

Situated close to Parmentier Metro station ( metro line 3 ) and the mass of clubs, bars and brasseries that line Rue Oberkampf, the café serves a selection of bruschetta type avocado toasts, cereal bowls and other scrumptious dishes.

It’s also worth noting that the majority of dishes are vegetarian. It’s also worth noting that the real start of the show when it comes to Café Oberkampf is that of the Shakshuka, a slightly spiced tomato sauce with a blend of herbs and a poached egg.

The dish is served with cream to help cut the spice and plenty of fluffy bread to add that little bit extra texture. Please note that Café Oberkampf doesn’t accept reservations and so you’ll want to turn up at the beginning of brunch/ lunch service in order to secure a table and avoid disappointment. Even then, you might end up waiting a little while so bring a book or guide to keep you occupied!

cafe oberkampf review

The sister café of Café Oberkampf can be found just a short walk away and offers up the same menu in a slightly different ambiance. While Café Méricourt is slightly bigger and so offers a bigger chance of getting seated and served quicker, I would personally recommend heading to whichever of the two cafés is closest to your accommodation due to their similarities!

Please note that much like Café Oberkampf, Café Méricourt doesn’t accept reservations and so you’ll want to turn up at the beginning of brunch/ lunch service in order to secure a table and avoid disappointment. Even then, you might end up waiting a little while so bring a book or guide to keep you occupied!

If you know anything about traditional French breakfast , then you’ll know that brunch isn’t a huge part of French culture, though with the rise of social media and other factors over the past few years it’s becoming a bigger phenomenon across l’Hexagone, particularly in larger cities.

Café de Flore is something of an institution in Paris and has welcomed visitors and residents (including many a famous writer and artist) over the years. Located in the Saint Germain-des-Prés area of the city, this area is known for its chic boutiques, historic churches, and wide boulevards filled with cafés.

Wander in at any given moment and you’ll be greeted with pretty decor, great service and a mouth-watering wine list… When it comes to brunch options, you’re looking at getting a lighter offering such as coffee with vienoisseries (croissants and the like).

Much like many of the other brunch spots in Paris listed here, Café de Flore doesn’t take reservations and is walk in only. Now somewhat of a Parisian institution, you should be prepared to wait for a little while to grab a spot, particularly on weekends and during school holidays.

Café de Flore café review, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris, France

One Paris brunch spot that I only had the pleasure of discovering recently is that of Treize Bakery, which, in spite of its name, is not a bakery but actually a café and restaurant.

Located in the shadow of the Luxembourg Gardens, this bistro serves up delicious American-style brunches in generous portions and has a mouthwatering array of cocktails and speciality coffees to match.

A particular favourite during our girls’ day out brunch in Paris was the warm artichoke dip which is served with fresh warm bruschetta chips. If you’re a non-meat eater, then the vegetarian breakfast is simply delicious and is served all day. It’s also worth noting that Treize is a smoke free terrace, which is rather of a rarity in Paris.

Like many of the other places to eat brunch in Paris, Treize Bakery doesn’t take reservations and so be sure to arrive earlier in the day as opposed to later so as to avoid disappointment. Just down the road, you can discover the Red Wheelbarrow Bookstore, which is one of the best English language bookshops in Paris.

treize bakery brunch in paris france

A little further away from central Paris, and instead situated in the 18th arrondissement of Paris (close to the painted shutters of rue Cavallotti, which is one of the best secret spots in Montmartre ) , La Main Noire offers a seasonal and ever changing menu which comprises of hot and cold drinks, as well as full meals and light snacks.

Newly opened in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, there is a heavy vegetarian and vegan influence on the menu, with the majority of the options being entirely meat free.

On the last week of every month, everything on the menu is vegetarian or vegan. The menu changes every few days and tends to focus on classic dishes with a modern twist, meaning that no two visits will ever be the same.

la main noire brunch paris

One of my latest favourite finds when it comes to a delicious brunch in central Paris is at Saint Pearl in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area of the city. Open on a daily basis (though watch out for the later opening times on the weekend), this Parisian café serves both food and speciality coffees.

As well as a mouthwatering array of baked goods and sweets that can be purchased together with a selection of coffees and teas, there is also a handful of brunch items on the menu. Some of the best dishes at Saint Pearl include an eggs benedict burger, vegetable pancakes, and fruit pancakes.

One of the veggie brunch places that I’ve been lucky enough to discover during my brunch testing in Paris is Aujourd’hui Demain, which is located in the 11th arrondissement of the city. What makes this particular brunch spot so special is that it is 100% vegan.

From fluffy pancakes topped with vegan meats to granola bowls and set menus where you get a juice, hot drink, croissant, and dish for a set price, there’s a plethora of things to choose from on the menu.

aujourd'hui demain

Though there are actually a few different locations of Wild & The Moon dotted across central Paris, one of the spots you’re most likely to head to during a trip to the city is in Le Marais district of the city. If you’re looking for a healthy brunch in Paris, then this is the place to go to.

After all, Wild & The Moon is easily one of the best vegan restaurants in Paris and is full of healthy eating options as well as hot speciality coffees and matcha drinks. On the menu you can also expect to find items such as cold press juices and raw salad bowls.

Where to Eat Vegetarian & Vegan in Paris: Tips & Restaurants

No guide to the best places to get brunch in Paris would be complete without a nod to Holybelly, which always has a queue out the door on account of its sheer popularity (and, of course, how good the brunch is there!)

Brunch served at Holybelly is traditional American style; large portions, cooked English full breakfasts, and delicious coffee. Another item on the menu which is particularly recommended by everyone who visits are the fluffy pancakes.

A visit during the weekend is especially recommended on account of the fact that the weekend menu changes on a weekly basis, meaning that no two visits are the same. It’s worth noting that Holybelly is walk in only and doesn’t take reservations so be sure to arrive earlier rather than later so as to secure a dining spot!

If you’re looking for a filling brunch in the Montmartre district of Paris , then you should be sure to head to the The Hardware Société Paris, which is one of the best-reviewed brunch places in the French capital.

Originally founded in Australia (a country that many may call the ‘home’ of the modern brunch), the Paris location also never fails to impress. On the menu, there are specialities such as delightful coffees, breakfast buns, cakes, and several vegan options. Please note that the Paris location doesn’t take reservations.

The Hardware Société Paris, 10 Rue Lamarck, 75018 Paris

A location which I only discovered more recently, but more than merits its place on the guide to the best brunch places in Paris is that of Patrol Paris, which can be found in the 6th arrondissement.

Located close to the Jardin du Luxembourg, Patrol offers a €23 set brunch menu. In this formula, you’ll be able to get a hot drink, croissant, yogurt, and granola, fresh juice, smoothie (or mini spritz- alcoholic or non alcoholic) , and an avocado brioche with a poached egg.

Please note that you can make reservations in advance for this top Parisian brunch spot and this is particularly recommended on weekends when the popular eatery gets more than a little busy!

Looking for all day brunch every day of the week? You need to look no further than Kafkaf in the 11th arrondissement of the city. The portions are tasty and generous and you can take the rest of your food to go in a takeaway box if you don’t manage to finish it all!

Highlights of the menu include speciality coffee, pancakes, avocado toast, and the other usual suspects, and syrups are served at no extra charge. Please note that you can’t book your spot in advance and so you should turn up early (especially on the weekend) so as to avoid queuing for over an hour!

If you are looking for a lactose free brunch or a gluten-free brunch in Paris, then Café Mareva République is the place to visit! There’s a number of different classic brunch items on the menu to choose from, including waffles, sandwiches, and homemade pastries.

Final Thoughts: Paris Brunch

Brunch hasn’t been a feature of French culture for long, the French preferring a small, simple breakfast. That doesn’t mean the Parisians haven’t embraced this wonderful meal in their own special way, as you can tell by the number of spots on this list.

Whether you opt for a brunch buffet in Paris or not, getting brunch in Paris means enjoying a special part of French cafe culture you definitely should not miss out on!

La Tour d'Argent unveils its stunning brunch

The tour d'argent brunch

We were already fans of the new version of La Tour d'Argent , which, in addition to its legendary Michelin-starre d table led by chef Yannick Franques , catered to tighter budgets with its brand-new Bar des Maillets d'Argent offering breakfast options, daily specials for lunch, and cocktails to die for. A logical and highly anticipated next step: the world's most famous restaurant (inspiring Ratatouille) launches an absolutely insane brunch, now ranking in our top three in Paris . While we eagerly anticipate our next visit, here's the rundown.

Booking early is essential, as foodies are already on high alert. It's understandable: when La Tour d'Argent launches a brunch with an all-you-can-eat buffet for €65, it sets off alarms among the gourmands of Paris . So, head to the Bar des Maillets d'Argent , the new space inaugurated last September, where you can settle in from early morning until evening in comfortable almond green armchairs. The savvy ones will negotiate for the best table: the one facing the fireplace in the adjoining Frédéric Lounge , where you can admire a 1930s-inspired decor featuring equestrian references around polo, the family's totemic sport, a black and white carpet, beautiful books to browse in the library, and a superb wooden table displaying sweet treats...

Buffet du brunch de la Tour d'Argent

We highly recommend it : don't eat anything before. Or after. Directly from the bar, marvel at the savory wonders stretching their arms out, tempting you to taste everything. So let's dive in! Dill salmon , various duck pâtés , deviled eggs, charcuterie , salmon rillettes , cheeses , Piémontaise salad that we helped ourselves to twice... Set your loot on a table facing the Pont de la Tournelle before ordering a perfectly light eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce. Of course, save room for the sweet delights: generously buttered pastries from the Boulanger de la Tour, cakes, unlimited fresh juices, yogurts...

An adorable curiosity among the hot drinks: try the marocchino, a sort of latte with the bottom of the cup lined with spread. Utterly decadent bliss.

Brunch served every Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. €65 per person. Reservations at tourdargent.com .
