Alex G Announces Co-Headlining Summer Tour With Alvvays

Alex G and Alvvays are splitting the bill on their upcoming co-headlining tour . They are linking up for an eight-date stretch of shows in North America this summer.

The tour will begin on Aug. 23 at Brooklyn, New York’s Prospect Park Bandshell. They will make stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Woodstock, Toronto, Royal Oak, and Pittsburgh before wrapping on Sept. 1 at Lewiston, New York’s Artpark.

Alex G will join the tour on the heels of a number of festival appearances, including sets at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Day In Day Out, and more. The shows arrive in support of his latest album, God Save the Animals.

great show! i’ve been seeing alex g live since 2014 and he never disappoints! i do miss when he played at cats cradle as opposed to motorco (both in nc near the raleigh area) i felt the venue was much more fitting and overall better. keep up the good shit!

Amazing show. Alex G and the band (as well as the opening act World Brain) were so great to finally hear live. The venue was also really nice with cheap beer and a cozy atmosphere. The only negative I can think of was that there was smoking indoors.

Alex G Announces 2021 Tour

Alex G is returning to the road this summer and fall. After two shows in California, the tour kicks off in September in Ohio and will wind through the South and Midwest before concluding in New York in December. Along the way, Alex G will be joined by Snarls and EXUM. See the full list of dates below.

Alex G’s released his most recent record, House of Sugar , in 2019. He has created the score for the horror film We’re All Going to the World’s Fair , which premiered at Sundance earlier this year.
