Great Sphinx of Giza

Day 1 & 2: Cairo – Gateway to Antiquity

Arrival in cairo.

Your adventure begins in Cairo, the bustling capital city, where ancient history and modern life converge. After settling into your hotel, take the evening to explore the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a treasure trove of spices, textiles, and traditional artifacts.

Giza Pyramid Complex

The next day is dedicated to the awe-inspiring Giza Pyramid Complex. Stand in the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Giza, marvel at the mysterious Sphinx, and explore the lesser-known Queen’s Pyramids, all while soaking in tales of pharaohs and ancient architects.

Day 3: Saqqara & Memphis – Cradle of Monuments

Saqqara necropolis.

A short drive from Cairo takes you to Saqqara, home to the Djoser Step Pyramid, the world’s oldest complete stone building complex. This site offers a unique glimpse into the evolution of pyramid construction.

Day 4 & 5: Luxor – The World’s Greatest Open-Air Museum

East bank: karnak and luxor temples.

Begin your exploration of Luxor by visiting the monumental temple complexes on the East Bank. The Karnak Temple, with its vast forest of giant pillars, is not to be missed. As the sun sets, stroll through the Luxor Temple, illuminated beautifully at night, offering a magical experience.

West Bank: Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple

Cross to the West Bank to discover the final resting places of Egypt’s rulers in the Valley of the Kings . Explore the intricately decorated tombs, including that of the famous Tutankhamun. Nearby, the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut stands as an architectural marvel, with its imposing colonnades set against the stark, desert backdrop.

Day 6: Aswan – Gateway to Africa

Philae temple & unfinished obelisk.

Aswan, Egypt’s southernmost city, offers a more tranquil experience. Visit the majestic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and marvel at the Unfinished Obelisk, which provides insight into ancient stone-cutting techniques.

Day 7: Abu Simbel – The Sun Temple

Ramses ii’s monumental masterpiece.

No Egypt tour is complete without a visit to Abu Simbel, the site of Ramses II’s grandiose temples. Carved out of a mountainside, these temples are a testament to ancient Egyptian engineering and artistry, especially during the biannual Sun Festival when the sun aligns to illuminate the inner sanctum.

Day 8: Farewell to the Land of Pharaohs

Cairo revisited.

Return to Cairo for any last-minute sightseeing or shopping. The Egyptian Museum is a must-visit for those interested in the full breadth of Egypt’s ancient artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.

Parting Words from the Nile

As your 8-day journey concludes, reflect on the incredible sights and sounds of Egypt, from the silent guardianship of the Sphinx to the gentle flow of the Nile. This itinerary only scratches the surface of what Egypt has to offer, but it promises an immersive experience into the heart of its ancient wonders. May your memories of this land of pharaohs be as timeless as the monuments you’ve visited.

Top 6 Egypt Itineraries for 8 Days (2024/2025)

Are 8 days enough to truly experience the wonders of Egypt? Yes. Although 8 days may limit depth and scope, you could discover many of Egypt's iconic landmarks comfortably with the right planning and well-designed itineraries.

The capital, Cairo, is the essential base for all Egypt trips. For an 8-day trip, Cairo and a Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan is the most popular combo.

If you're seeking a leisurely vacation, Hurghada, Alexandria, and Sharm El Sheikh are great add-ons. If you prefer somewhere adventurous, consider Mount Sinai and the White Desert as excellent extensions. Adding a neighboring country would provide you with a quick glimpse of the Asian Middle East as well.

Read on to explore our six carefully-crafted itineraries and get tips on costs.

  • 1. Itinerary with a Nile Cruise
  • 2. Itinerary with the Red Sea
  • 3. Itinerary with the White Desert
  • 4. Itinerary with Mount Sinai
  • 5. Itinerary with Jordan
  • 6. Itinerary with Israel
  • 7. Cost of an 8-Day Egypt Tour

1. A Classic 8-Day Egypt Itinerary with a Nile Cruise

If you are a first-timer to Egypt, this 8-day itinerary has been customized for many like you who want to take in the must-sees in style.

Following this classic route, you could marvel at the pyramids' enigmatic allure, sail along the storied Nile, and discover Luxor's temples as well as the tranquil beauty of Aswan.

Check out the following brief itinerary, for inspiration:

Days 1–3 in Cairo

  • (the Giza pyramid complex, the Great Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, the Cairo Citadel, a food tour, and the Khan el-Khalili market)

Cairo embraces both ancient and modern Egypt. In addition to the unrivaled pyramids, history buffs could immerse themselves in the treasures of the Egyptian Museum.

Foodies, you would have the chance to speak with the locals and eat as locals at the traditional markets. If you have specific dietary preferences, such as being vegan, we could customize the food tour to cater to your needs!

Days 4–8: Your Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan

  • Days 4–5: Your Nile cruise departs Luxor (cruise check-in, Luxor Temple, the Karnak temple complex, the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon)
  • Day 6: Your Nile cruise continues with excursions (the Temple of Kom Ombo and the Temple of Horus in Edfu)
  • Days 7–8: Your Nile cruise disembarks in Aswan (an Aswan city tour visiting the Aswan High Dam, the Philae temple complex, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Abu Simbel; cruise check-out)

Taking a 5-day cruise from Luxor to Aswan, you could have easy access to Abu Simbel in Aswan. If Abu Simbel isn't your top priority, you could go for the 4-day alternative from Aswan to Luxor. It could help to save you about US$200 per person.

Unlike typical group tours on cruise ships, we would provide you with a dedicated private guide throughout your shore excursions , ensuring the best possible experience for you.

If you are looking for unique experiences, you could take a traditional dahabiya. With just 5–6 cabins, you could relish enhanced privacy and an exclusive experience.

2. A Relaxing 8-Day Egypt Itinerary with Hurghada

If you're looking to infuse your first trip to Egypt with some beach fun, you will probably like this itinerary. It combines the historic wonders of Cairo and Luxor with the idyllic beaches of Hurghada over 8 days.

Here is a brief itinerary summary for your information:

  • Days 1–3 in Cairo (a camel ride around the Giza pyramid complex, city tours with Old and New Cairo, and a day trip to Alexandria)
  • Days 4–5 in Luxor (the Valley of the Kings, iconic temples, a sunrise balloon ride, and/or a nighttime city tour by horse and carriage)
  • Days 6–8 in Hurghada (beach activities, such as snorkeling and diving, and a desert safari with a visit to a Bedouin village)

For any beach vacation, a boutique beachfront hotel offering unique experiences would undoubtedly be a bonus, particularly for your family trip or romantic celebrations. Are you looking to eliminate the hassle of choosing hotels? Reach out to us for a private Egypt trip featuring carefully-selected hotels that have been chosen for your preferences!

3. An 8-Day Egypt Adventure to the White Desert

If you'd like to unveil more hidden gems of Egypt, look no further than this itinerary. You would go deeper into the history and culture of Cairo, experience the White Desert, and relax in the coastal charm of the Mediterranean in Alexandria.

Have a look to see if this is your travel style from the following outline and highlights:

  • Days 1–3 in Cairo (the Giza pyramid complex, the Great Sphinx, city tours including a food tour, and the Khan el-Khalili market)
  • Days 4–6 in Bahariya (Bahariya Oasis, Crystal Mountain, the Black Desert, the White Desert, and desert camping)
  • Days 7–8 Alexandria (the catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, and the Library of Alexandria)

Camping in the White Desert is one of the highlights of this 8-day trip. The best time to camp is from October to April, allowing you to escape the extreme heat. For a hassle-free experience, we highly recommend a private tour to manage navigation and government travel permits. When you choose to travel with us , we would take care of everything for you!

In Alexandria, you could explore the catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and visit the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, a symbol of maritime history. If you're traveling with teens, you probably won't want to miss the Library of Alexandria, one of the largest libraries of the ancient world.

4. An 8-Day Egypt Exploration of the Sinai Peninsula

Embarking on this 8-day Egyptian journey, you would follow a path that leads you from the vibrant streets of Cairo to the serene landscapes of the Sinai Peninsula.

Here is a typical Cairo–Sinai–Coast itinerary with a winding-down tour pace for your reference:

  • Days 1–3 in Cairo (the Giza pyramid complex, the Great Sphinx, city tours, and the El Tannoura Dance Show)
  • Days 4–5 in Saint Catherine (Saint Catherine's Monastery and a hike up Mount Sinai)
  • Days 6–8 in Sharm El Sheikh (snorkeling, diving, and relaxing on the beach)

A Sinai Peninsula trip would not be complete without holy Mount Sinai and picturesque Sharm El Sheikh.

Hiking before dawn is quite popular for group tours. But we strongly recommend going in the afternoon for a serene trek as well as a more peaceful sunset spectacle. As travel permits are required for a visit to Mount Sinai, we recommend that you go on a private tour with an experienced guide to take you through check points.

What could be better than refreshing yourself on a tranquil beach after a meaningful hike? The soft-sand shores of Sharm El Sheikh's beaches provide the perfect setting to unwind.

5. An 8-Day Cultural Discovery Trip to Egypt and Jordan

If you're looking to experience more of the ancient civilizations of the Middle East, adding Jordan, a neighbor of Egypt, would be an ideal choice.

In this 8-day tour, you would explore Cairo, Amman, and Petra, allowing you to see the best of Egypt and Jordan in a limited time.

  • Days 1–3 in Cairo (the Giza pyramid complex with a camel ride, the Great Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, a sunset cruise on the Nile, the Khan el-Khalili market, and the El Tannoura Dance Show)
  • Days 4–5: in Amman (the Citadel, the Roman Theater, the ancient city of Jerash, and a day trip to the Dead Sea)
  • Days 6–8 in Petra (the Treasury, the Monastery, the Great Temple, the Royal Tombs, Petra by Night, and a day trip to Wadi Rum)

3 days in Cairo promises awesome pyramids, unrivaled treasures, local life, and the Nile. A sunset Nile cruise would provide a great backdrop for memorable moments, particularly during milestone trips.

In Jordan, you would experience the amazing serenity of the desert in Mars-like Wadi Rum and the magical Dead Sea. As well as that, Amman and Petra stand out for their historical marvels.

6. An 8-Day Pilgrimage Itinerary to Egypt and Israel

If you're seeking to immerse yourself in the sacred essence of the Middle East, this itinerary may be ideal for you. You would go through the spiritual heart of Egypt and Israel, including Cairo, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv.

A classic route is suggested below, for inspiration. It includes 3 days in Egypt and 5 days in Israel.

  • Days 1–3 in Cairo (the Giza pyramid complex with a camel ride, the Great Sphinx, the Hanging Church, Wadi El Natrun, the Khan el-Khalili market, and the Egyptian Museum)
  • Days 4–6 in Jerusalem (the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Mount of Olives, and a day trip to Bethlehem)
  • Days 7–8 in Tel Aviv (the ancient city of Jaffa, Carmel Market, and Tel Aviv Museum of Art)

In Cairo, beyond the iconic pyramids, you would delve into the city's spiritual fabric by visiting the Hanging Church and the serene Wadi El Natrun.

After Cairo, you would fly to neighboring Israel to discover its top two popular cities: Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Jerusalem always tops the bucket lists of pilgrims. You would wander through its Old City to visit the millennia-old religious sites. You would also pay a visit to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Concluding your trip in Tel Aviv would give you a sense of Israel's modern life and sea views.

If this 8-day pilgrimage trip doesn't fulfill your all your ambitions, you could extend your journey to Jordan and Turkey. Check out more details in our 24-Day Grand Middle East Bible Tour .

Cairo Sightseeing You Will Never Forget

All of our 8-day Egypt tours begin with a private guided tour in Cairo, during which you will visit three of the most popular attractions:

The Giza Pyramids

The egyptian museum.

  • Khan el Khalili Bazaar

8-day Egypt itinerary

The Giza Pyramids are one of the most iconic archaeological sites in Egypt, and have been a popular tourist destination for countless years. Located on the Giza plateau to the west of Cairo, these ancient giants offer visitors an incredible glimpse into the history of ancient Egypt. The three main pyramids that make up the site are believed to have been built between 2550 BC and 2490 BC and were constructed as monuments to the Pharaohs Khufu, Khafra and Menkaure. The Great Giza Pyramid of Khufu is the oldest and largest of all three, standing at an impressive 146 meters tall. Besides the pyramids and the Sphinx, you will also have access to the Valley Temple while you are at this site.

There are the small and luxurious dahabiyas, which are gorgeous wooden boats powered by the wind and featuring enormous sails that dance in the breeze. They can be found with all of the finest, luxurious amenities but also hearken back to the early days of Egyptian travel. Wooden decks, open-air dining and lounging areas at the top decks, and elegant staterooms are all part of the experience.

There are also the larger, modern cruise ships with multiple decks, every possible amenity and even options such as salons, pools and more.

Choosing your preferred vessel is the first step in narrowing down the options in the many 7 night Nile cruises, and then you have to consider the itinerary that appeals to you the most.

Visitors can actually enter the pyramids at Giza although separate tickets need to be purchased at the site for each of pyramid you want to enter. Camel rides are also available at the site but be sure to haggle in order to get the best possible price if you choose to go for a camel ride.

If you feel you would like to enter one or more of the pyramids, then it is highly recommended that you wear a pair of sturdy walking shoes rather than a pair of sandals.

The Egyptian Museum, is located in central Cairo, Egypt and is one of the most famous and most significant museums in the world. It houses an extensive collection of artifacts and treasures from ancient Egypt. Until recently, the museum also housed the renowned collection of artifacts that were recovered from Tutankhamun’s tomb, along with a number of royal mummies. However, these have now been moved to the new Grand Egyptian Museum at Giza.

The museum is home to more than 100,000 artifacts, showcasing roughly 5,000 years of ancient Egyptian history, providing visitors with a captivating journey through Egypt’s rich history and culture. It is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Egypt’s long and fascinating history.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which is a famous marketplace located in Cairo, features in nearly all of our 8-day Egypt tours. It is one of the oldest and most vibrant bazaars, not only in Egypt but in the entire Middle East, and is best known for its bustling atmosphere and unique shopping experience. The bazaar dates back to the 14th century and it is an extremely popular destination for locals and tourists alike. Here, visitors can find a vast range of goods, including traditional handicrafts, jewelry, fabrics, spices, and souvenirs and tasty street food.

The narrow alleys are filled with shops and stalls, where vendors enthusiastically showcase their products. The lively ambiance, vibrant colors, and the scent of exotic spices create a sensory overload for visitors, making Khan El Khalili Bazaar a must-visit place for those exploring Cairo.

A Magical 5-Star Nile Cruise

Nearly all of our 8 day Egypt tour packages include a five-star Nile cruise, so after your unforgettable sightseeing tour in Cairo, enjoy one more night in Egypt’s bustling capital city, and then you will typically board a domestic flight to Aswan or Luxor Airport. On arrival at the airport, one of our tour representatives will meet you and then you will be taken to board your cruise ship for a journey on the Nile which you will never forget.

All Nile cruise itineraries featured in our 8 day Egypt tours include full board with spacious and comfortable accommodation, three excellent meals each day, and professionally guided daily sightseeing excursions. Many cruise itineraries also include onboard entertainment in the evenings, such as belly dancing shows and folkloric shows. However, the best thing about a Nile cruise Is the fact that you will get to visit several of Egypt’s most iconic historical sites with a professional guide leading the way to ensure that every excursion is more rewarding than ever.

Aswan

Aswan is a city located in southern Egypt on the east bank of the Nile River. It is known for its rich history and ancient landmarks. One of the most famous landmarks in Aswan is the Aswan High Dam, which was constructed in the 1960s and is a symbol of Egypt’s modernization efforts. The dam not only provides hydroelectric power, but also regulates the flow of the Nile River, preventing flooding and ensuring water supply for irrigation and drinking purposes. Aswan is also home to the Philae Temple, an ancient temple complex dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the Unfinished Obelisk, which remains partially carved in the granite quarry. Overall, Aswan is a city of great historical significance and attracts tourists from around the world.

Kom Ombo

All of our Nile Cruise itineraries include a visit to Kom Ombo temple which is an ancient Egyptian temple located in the city of Kom Ombo, Upper Egypt. It is an unusual temple as it was dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Horus. The temple features unique architectural designs and carvings, showcasing the skills and craftsmanship of ancient Egyptians. Kom Ombo is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world who are interested in exploring the rich history and culture of ancient Egypt. The temple’s location along the bank of the Nile River also adds to its scenic beauty, making it a must-visit attraction for travelers.

Egypt and Dubai Tours

Some people refer to Dubai and the City of Gold, while some call it a fake city or a city without a soul. It may be all of these and more, but it is also a city that never fails to mesmerize those who choose to visit. For those who have cash to splash, a trip to Dubai can be like a journey in an entirely different world. They city has a reputation of being beyond expensive, but there are many people who would disagree.

The number one reason why Dubai has a reputation of being so expensive is because there are just so many tempting opportunities to spend money on. Have you ever considered swimming among sharks? You don’t need to visit Australia or South Africa for that. Instead, just visit one of Dubai’s aquariums and enjoy a swim among the sharks, or even enjoy an underwater ride in a mini-submersible.

Need to escape from the heat? Just go skiing or snowboarding at Ski Dubai, or enjoy a day out at one of the city’s magnificent waterparks. Are you longing for a romantic dinner? A dinner cruise on Dubai Creek won’t disappoint you, or how about dinner at an underwater hotel?

Of course, our tour itineraries don’t include such activities unless you specifically request them. Instead, our tours are all about sightseeing and an authentic desert experience. If you book our 8-day Egypt and Dubai tour , you will spend three nights in Dubai, and then spend the remaining days of your tour in Egypt. Your second day in Dubai is devoted to sightseeing with an experienced English speaking guide, and while most of the third day is free, you will get to enjoy an afternoon desert safari trip and an awesome BBQ dinner under the stars with some local Bedouin.

Egypt and Turkey Tours

Our 8-day Egypt and Turkey tour package includes 4 nights and 4 days in Egypt with plenty of sightseeing and an optional day trip to Alexandria.  The remaining 4 days and 3 nights are spent in Istanbul, Turkey. Turkey is a fantastic holiday destination. If you had more time, we would definitely take you to the Cappadocia region of the country for a few days. However, since you only have two full days for sightseeing, our goal is to show you some of Istanbul’s most cherished attractions.

When you arrive in Turkey, we will meet you at the airport and then transfer you to your hotel, after which you will be free to spend the remainder of the day as you wish. In the morning your guide and driver will fetch you for a tour of the city. Not surprisingly, your first stop will be a visit to the city’s most famous landmark, the magnificent Hagia Sophia that was originally built in 537 AD.

The Hagia Sophia was originally a church before later being converted into a mosque. Later still, it was converted into a museum, but has since been converted back into a mosque. Despite being a functioning mosque, the Hagia Sophia has remained open to visitors of all faiths.

During your tour today, you will also visit the breathtaking Blue Mosque, after which you will get to spend some time at the city’s famous Grand Bazaar. You will also visit a number of other impressive sites, including the famous Topkapi Palace.

The following day, you will again be picked up from your hotel and you will be taken for a short 1.5-hour cruise on the Bosphorus Straight. Most sightseeing will be done from a distance today, although you will be taken to visit the city’s famous spice market before returning to your hotel for the last night of your tour.

Sightseeing in the Land of the Pharaohs

Nearly all Egypt sightseeing tours begin in Cairo, the bustling Egyptian capital. Unless specifically stated otherwise, these are private tours . You will have your own personal English speaking Expert tour guide and your own driver. Our clients are picked up from their hotels in the morning and then returned to their hotels after their tours end.

Cairo Sightseeing Tours

While tour itineraries vary from one to the next, there are some sites and attractions which tend to be featured in almost all of our 8-day Egypt itineraries. These would include attractions such as the legendary Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx; the Egyptian Museum; the Khan el Khalili Bazaar, and quite often, also the Great Step Pyramid of Pharaoh Djozer and Saqqara.

Nile Cruise Sightseeing

Some of our Nile cruises begin in Luxor and end in Aswan, while others begin in Aswan and end in Luxor. All include full board and professionally guided tours and excursions. One or more of our guides actually sail with the vessels that we have clients on, and it is these guides who will accompany you on your tours.

Regardless of which direction you are sailing in, you will enjoy tours in Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan. These are all small group tours that you share with a small number of our other clients if we happen to have other clients sailing on the same vessel as you.

In Luxor, we take you to the East Bank and the West Bank to see some of Egypt’s most famous and most cherished ancient monuments. During these tours, you can expect to see places like the massive Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple, both located on the East Bank. On the West Band we visit places like the Valley of Kings and the magnificent rock-cut mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

At Edfu we visit Egypt’s best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple, the Temple of Horus, also often called Edfu Temple. You will also most likely also visit Kom Ombo Temple. This is essentially two temples in one. One half was dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god while the other half was dedicated to Horus the falcon-headed god.

In Aswan, you are likely to visit the ancient stone quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk. Other attractions which typically feature in our itineraries include the Aswan High Dam and the breathtaking ancient Temple of Philae.

Depending on which one of our 8-day Egypt itineraries you book, your tour many also include a trip to Abu Simbel to see the absolutely magnificent rock-cut Abu Simbel Temples. These two temples were commissioned by Pharaoh Ramses II who was also known as Pharaoh Ramses the Great. He had these to temples built to serve as functioning temples, and also to serve as lasting monuments of himself and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.

Do’s and don’ts for your 8 days in Egypt

If you’re planning a trip to Egypt, here are some things to remember:

Dress conservatively: When visiting religious sites in Egypt, it is important to dress conservatively. Avoid wearing revealing clothing and cover your shoulders and knees.

Respect local customs: Although Egyptians are generally friendly and welcoming, it is important to respect their customs and traditions. For example, eating with your left hand is considered impolite, so use your right hand instead.

Bargaining at markets is common in Egypt, particularly at local markets and souks. Don’t be afraid to haggle with vendors to get a better deal.

Don’t drink tap water: Because tap water in Egypt is unsafe to drink, stick to bottled water or purified water.

Don’t photograph people without permission: While Egyptians are generally friendly and welcoming, it’s important to obtain permission before photographing people, especially women, and children.

Public displays of affection, such as kissing or hugging, are not common in Egypt and may be considered inappropriate.

Avoid visiting religious sites during prayer times: Before visiting a mosque or other religious site, check the prayer times and avoid going during those times.

What to pack for your Egypt trip

If you’re going on an Egypt 8 day tour, you should pack for the weather and the activities you intend to do. Here are some items you should consider packing for your Egypt trip:

Clothing: Because Egypt has a warm and dry climate, especially during the summer months, lightweight and breathable clothing such as cotton t-shirts, pants, and dresses are recommended. To show respect for the local culture, women should pack clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. If you intend to visit religious sites, you should also bring long-sleeved shirts and pants. In the winter , a light jacket or sweater will suffice.

Sun Protection: Because Egypt is a sunny country, bring sunscreen with a high SPF, sunglasses, and a hat or cap to protect yourself from the sun.

Comfortable Footwear: Because Egypt has many historical and archaeological sites to visit, it’s best to bring comfortable and sturdy walking shoes, such as sneakers or closed-toe sandals. It is recommended that you wear closed-toe shoes if you plan to visit the desert or go on a camel ride.

Travel Documents: Remember to bring your passport, travel insurance, and any visas or documents required for your trip.

Electronics: Egypt has a 220-240V electrical system, so bring a universal adapter if you plan to bring any electronics.

Medications: If you take prescription medications, bring enough to last the duration of your trip. Over-the-counter medications such as pain relievers, antihistamines, and anti-diarrheal medication are also recommended.

Money and Credit Cards: Bring a mix of cash and credit cards, as some smaller businesses may only accept cash. Make certain that you exchange your money at a legitimate exchange bureau or bank.

Backpack or Daypack: It is recommended that you bring a backpack or a daypack with you on your day trips and tours to carry your belongings and essentials.

Pack lightly and bring only what you need for your trip. Egypt also has a plethora of markets and shops where you can purchase souvenirs and other necessities.

This was the trip of a lifetime that I was able to have with my eldest son - an absolutely Read More amazing experience. To be able to actually see the places and artifacts that I had read about and studied was truly phenomenal. Our hotels were great, the travel to and from sites was completely taken care of, we never felt unsafe or left to our own devices, and the itinerary was just right. But what made the experience so fab was our two guides - Mahmoud Nour in Luxor/Aswan/Abu Simbel and "Max" in Cairo/Memphis/Saqqara. They taught us history and context as it related to each site we visited and they indulged my myriad questions. They were both so incredibly knowledgeable and my questions were never ignored or unanswered. In addition, they shared their culture with us and treated us to some awesome dining experiences. We were reminded that Egypt is more than just ancient ruins. I would recommend without reservation this tour experience. And "hats off" to Mahmoud and Max!!! I left feeling like I had made some great new friends. And I can't wait to try some home-made kushari. Read Less

Egypt Tours Portal is an excellent company to use to arrange your visit to Egypt. They wor Read More k with phenomenal guides (we had Mahmoud Nour in Upper Egypt and Mohsen aka Max in Lower Egypt...I would recommend asking for these guides by name, as they were truly superb), make all the necessary arrangements in terms of drivers, covid testing, hotels, and in-country flights, and can tailor your tour to whatever it is you most want to see. The entire experience was smooth from start to finish. Both Mahmoud and Max spoke excellent English, were extremely knowledgeable, and went out of their way to ensure our experience was everything we hoped it would be. This was the second time I have used ETP, and I will continue to recommend them to anyone who expresses any interest in exploring Egypt. We especially liked that our tour group was limited to only our party, which meant we got one-on-one attention at all the sites, and allowed us to get answers to all our questions. And for those of you who are worried about safety or health in Egypt, in our experience it was extremely safe, and we never had any issues related to COVID-19. We usually like to explore cities on our own, but knew we needed help on this destination. We worked with Mona from Your Egypt Tours over email to create a custom experience for my family which includes 2 teenagers. They helped us customize itineraries to cover the places we wanted to see in the most efficient manner. Our trip included Cairo, Hurghada, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel. Transportation was flawless in new comfy minibuses. guides were very knowledgeable and spoke perfect Spanish, and we felt very safe throughout our journey. (It was Ramadan so the City was in a festive mood after dark, but we never felt unsafe. So although we did not walk as much as we would normally would have, our guide was very accommodating and friendly, and we felt well-served. I think this tour is a must for anyone who wants to experience how the "real" Egyptians eat and live. We learned about some foods (like Koshary and falafel) and various meat sandwiches that I will try to recreate at home. I can't rate this tour highly enough! Be adventurous and take this tour!!! They took care of us and made sure that we had a fabulous time! Our guides - Mamdouh in Cairo and Ash in Luxor and Aswan were great! Mamdouh esp was great with story telling and captured the attention of our three boys! Johnny our driver in Cairo was warm and friendly with a smile on his face all the time.. and Ahmed - who was helping us with our airport transfer and pick ups - was super helpful and friendly! Ali and Mona who helped us create the iternary did a fabulous job and took very good care of us! We were in Egypt for about 15 days - from Cairo, to sharm, the Nile cruise and back to Cairo / Alexandria. We did black and white desert with them and kids had a fabulous time! It was an adventure and we learnt a lot. They had lot of patience and were very attentive to our needs- esp out three boys - aged 7 and 10! Our boys celebrated their 10th bday there and they added a boat ride on the Nile to celebrate with a cake! It was awesome! We were initially hesitant as we were not sure how safe it was to travel there in Dec 2023/ Jan 2024 but it was perfect. They all took good care of us and made sure we had a wonderful time! • MamataDesai 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Your Egypt Tours = peace of mind We were a family of 3 traveling with another family of 3 most of the 8 days in Egypt, plus we had another family of 3 with slightly different itinerary that had touch points with ours. Your Egypt Tours (YET) made a custom itinerary for us, with drivers and Egyptologists, and with cars in very good working condition. We spent 3.5 days in Cairo, a day in Aswan, a day in Abu Simbel and 2 days in Luxor. We took 3 internal flights and 2 road trips. Everything went very smoothly. We had great Egyptologists who took an interest in showing us around and captured some good group photos as well. There were hiccups with our travel, as usual with any trip. The highlight was that YET helped us out every time. Our luggage was late and YET made sure to get our luggage to us from the local courier the next day. We had trouble with one of the guides, and within one hour we had a new guide. We wanted to visit for off-the-beaten-path places, and our guide made it happen. A local show was canceled, YET made sure we had a great alternate experience. Guides were able to take us to the good places where locals eat, and had tons of patience while we shopped the markets of Khan-el-Khalili. Would highly recommend folks to travel with Your Egypt Tours! Read more Written January 5, 2024
  • Csimpson4836 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles We Attempt to See Egypt All in One Trip We planned our trip 1 year ago. The actual travel happened at Easter of this year. The plan was to see all of Egypt in 1 trip, so the total trip was 23 days. We flew Lufthansa from Detroit to Frankfurt to Cairo. Everything went well and we absolutely loved flying Lufthansa. We had decided to hire a tour company for the first half or our trip, and they met us in the airport, got us to our hotel (right on the Nile). The next day we saw the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. We had a woman tour guide - Hend. She was wonderful. We rode the camels at the Pyramids, I recommend it, if only for the photos. The next day we flew south and started a 5 day Nile cruise. Each day starts with a different Egyptian temple. We had a small group led by a college educated guide. Yassir was with us for the whole cruise. You get back to the boat for lunch and the boat starts moving to the next stop. The scenery from the top deck was great. There is also a bar and a pool. We made friends with the bartender Sayed. I felt like I made a friend; he really watched out for us. It was greatly appreciated. The temples were fascinating. The Egyptian history makes our own American history seem very recent in comparison. The downside was that there was just sooo much history that my brain hurt. Far and away, the best day was at the Valley of the Kings. Being inside the ancient tombs with all the carvings and wall paintings was almost overwhelming. Everything is close enough to touch, in the States there would be bulletproof glass. When the Nile cruise was ended we flew back to Cairo. Cairo is roughly the same size as the city we are from, by square miles, but the population is 25 million. The traffic has very few rules, it seems, but it still moves pretty good. I never felt unsafe but we were always in tourist areas. For the second half of the trip we flew to Sharm el Sheikh. While there we stayed at a resort very similar to what you might find in Mexico or the Caribbean. I scuba dive on vacation and the diving in the Red Sea is on every diver's bucket list. The diving did not disappoint. I did all the local dives and had a really good time. The dive boats are pretty fancy and large. I would guess that we usually had around 75 divers. The equipment was fine, the dive masters are good. I was grouped with other english-speaking divers. Most divers were from Italy, with a lot of German, French, and English. Almost no Americans in Egypt. The only downside to the dive boats is that they are too large, too many divers. I prefer small boats, small groups. Large boats also mean a lot of wasted time. It took all day to dive in Egypt; in Cozumel you can be back to the bar and swimming pool by lunch. The resort staff really likes Americans; I guess we tip for service and most other countries do not. I bring a lot of small bills and tip in dollars. That makes me friends like Hamdy, our favorite waiter after dinner. Mohammed the bartender wade a really good Mojito. Even the guy that cleaned our room was super friendly and took care of us. Egypt's location relative to Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and Israel was not something that I thought about until I got there. Sudan is on their southern border and they are having a civil war. Saudi Arabia is visible across the water on clear days. Israel and the Gaza strip is literally up the road from our resort. I never felt any kind of danger. Nobody talked about politics or world events. Egypt really needs tourism, they don't have anything else, really. And so, they take good care of their tourists, they dont want any bad press. In summary, this was a ounce in a lifetime trip and I am not sorry that I went. Total cost was around $16,000. I an 64 this year. If I was a few years older, this trip might be too much. There is a lot of walking. Read more Written December 17, 2023

Mona and her team were very accommodating, helping us create our own bespoke itinerary for the highlights of Egypt. All communication was extremely prompt and organised from the outset, and Peter our Egyptologist guide was excellent - he is clearly passionate about Egyptian history and we felt extremely reassured that we were in good safe hands throughout the entire trip. The history and architecture in Egypt is truly remarkable, from the incredible Abu Simbel temple to a sunrise hot air balloon over Luxor, the team helped us create an absolutely memorable trip and we couldn't be more grateful! Thank you Your Egypt Tours. Really must emphasise how excellent our Egyptologist Peter was. Thanks again Read more Written December 11, 2023

  • 73suzannec 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Best tour company in Egypt!! (our opinion) Recently returned from a 10 day tour to Egypt with my Dad and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend checking a visit to Egypt off your bucket list!! Our wonderful experience in large part was thanks to Your Egypt Tours. From the moment we arrived at the Cairo airport and were greeted by Ahmed, to the moment Ahmed saw us back off at the airport, they gave us five star EXCEPTIONAL service and we were well cared for 100% of the time. Each day, we had a nice air conditioned private van, excellent driver (shout out to Johnny in Cairo and Ahmed in Luxor), and without doubt, some of THE BEST Egyptologists. Mamdouh gave us expert tours of Saqqara, Giza, the museums, the mosques, and old Cairo. He was funny, engaging, passionate about teaching us, and ensured we were well taken care of. Ashraf gave us incredible tours of Luxor, Aswan, and along our Nile Cruise stops. Ashraf is the MOST knowledgeable Egyptologist there is in all of Egypt, hands down. (Well, I didn't witness ALL the others in the country... but he has got to be tops, no doubt.) In addition to giving us excellent information about each site we visited, I daily asked him questions about every carving or painting or hieroglyph we came across, and 100% of the time, he knew the answer. I call him Mr. Google, because no matter what I asked, he had the answer. He was incredible. His potential is well beyond simply giving my Dad and myself tours... He should be teaching at University or be on documentaries. We felt extremely lucky to have him and I highly recommend you choose Your Egypt Tours for numerous reasons, top of which is Ash. Beyond that, Ash and Mamdouh are both genuinely great people. Mona is the person you communicate with in planning the trip, and in addition to the rave reviews I had read online about the company, my interactions with her were what sold me on booking with them. She was always prompt, professional, and extremely kind. The owner of the company checked in with us prior to the tour and mid-tour to make sure we were doing well. My Dad had to change his travel plans departing from Cairo, and their team was extremely kind in helping arrange a few more nights there and another transport to the airport. Tips: 1.) Initially I had booked a group tour with National Geographic, however could not find many reviews of them online and instead found outstanding reviews of this company and they offer private tours for less cost, so I changed. Our private tour allowed us to spend as much time as wanted in each site, and to adjust our itinerary as we pleased. It was perfect! 2.) Initially I was a bit worried that there was too much downtime in our itinerary, but it actually was needed! It was a bit exhausting visiting all the sites, so a bit of down time actually turned out nice. You can always add things while you are there if you are feeling spry/wanting more. 3.) Factor in a bit extra money for tips throughout the trip. There was quite a bit of tipping throughout, always at your own discretion and not obligatory. 4.) Egypt felt very safe and friendly throughout our stay. The tragic conflict between Hamas and Israel started while we were there on our tour, causing our family members back home to panic, but there in Egypt, we both felt very safe the entire time. I would encourage people to still go to Egypt (at least as things currently stand) as their country is safe and lovely. 5.) Prior to going, I read traveler blogs and reviews talking about aggressive salesmen constantly hounding foreigners. While yes, there are salespeople at all the tourist spots and they are desperate to make a living, my experience was that they were for the most part all respectful and good sports. Simply say "no thank you" (sometimes a few times) and it is all good. I also started giving in when realizing that often what they are selling costs only one dollar and it makes a huge difference to them. Overall, Your Egypt Tours was an OUTSTANDING company, I am extremely grateful for their kindness and exceptional service, and I would give them, and Egypt, my highest recommendation. The remains of Ancient Egypt are definitely worth seeing in person! Read more Written October 25, 2023
  • travelergalgail 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Highly recommend Your Egypt Tours! My 2 friends and I spent 2 weeks on a tour arranged by Your Egypt Tours. We toured many sites in Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan and Upper Egypt, Luxor, and more. The company was superb - from the guides, drivers, incredible knowledge imparted to us all along, the good conversation and company they provided, and all the major and minor sites and activities. Part of our tour was a 4-day Nile cruise which was superb. All our accommodations were first-rate, and food they provided or recommended all wonderful. They were willing to work with us to customize the trip before arriving, and able to pivot when needed during the trip. I cannot say enough - well worth every minute! • 510arturob 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles The experience of a lifetime! It may sound a cliche, but going to Egypt was a dream and "Your Egypt Tours" made it real. There is so much I can tell about my experience in Egypt and by using the services of "Your Egypt Tours", but I would like to keep it as short as possible with some information that could be useful for other travelers that could be trying to decide if visiting Egypt is worth the effort, time and money (short answer, it definitely is): 1. It is safe to go to Egypt, I want to stress this as much as possible, it is very safe to visit Egypt. Never while I was there I felt in danger or I saw something that would make me feel nervous or worried, nor for me or for other tourists on other tours even with other companies, take regular precautions, be informed, but it is definitely safe. 2. Book a tour like this to avoid scams or hustlers. While you read reviews or watch videos, you may get a wrong idea around this topic, yes it can be bad, they can be very insistent, the best way to avoid this problem is to have a team of professionals around you at all times, and believe me, this is "Your Egypt Tours", I never suffered from this problem, getting in and out from touristic places was smooth and fast. 3. Likely you will still want to do some shopping, I would say, you must do some. Once again you will be with a team of professionals, if you do not want to spend much on souvenirs, make sure you talk about this to your Egyptlogist guide, they take you to the right places. If what you want is quality (I was particularly happy with my cotton based stuff), once again, they will take you to the right places, but of course, prices will be higher. 4. I will probably recommend traveling on September, still some large crowds, but I can only assume that less people than in winter time, it is hot, but I would say it is manageable. That is all above general recommendations. Regarding "Your Egypt Tours", I do not want to mention the names of the Egyptologists guides that were with me in fear of missing someone, but it was a team with deep knowledge of Egypt, probably many of my questions where naive or came from total ignorance, but they answered everything I asked, they shared so much information and even provided suggestions for added activities to the tour originally booked and all of them were wonderful experiences. But this is a team, there are some people I never met that handled all the booking, which was nice and easy and they accommodated my requests easily and then others like the drivers that, once again, a team of professionals that know how to get from one place to another on a very comfortable transportation with AC, which is pretty much mandatory with the weather, so you just get worried about what is going to be exciting on the next visit. And if that is not all, there was always someone that got me from/to airports, such and incredible service and team. Egypt is full of wonders, of course you want to see the great pyramids up close, specially if you can do it at sunset, same as the Luxor temple, or a visit to a Nubian village if you have the time. And there is nothing that can prepare you to see the temples of Abu Simbel, if you can do this tour, trust "Your Egypt Tours" and enjoy a fantastic trip. Read more Written October 13, 2023
  • E9741DFkaties 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Your Egypt Tours Made Our First Egypt Visit Amazing! It can be quite overwhelming trying to decide on a tour group thanks to the myriad options available, but after lots of research, I decided on YET and truly could not be happier with my experience! My friend and I only had two days in Egypt so we booked a full day in Cairo and a full day in Luxor - we reached out to YET after deciding on one of their travel packages since we wanted to add some additional activities like hot air balloon riding and a felucca ride. YET was a great communicator every step of the way and crafted a perfect itinerary for us - the famous spots, the airplane rides between cities, the van pick ups, etc. Everything was seamless and the YET members are there for you on WhatsApp every step of the way. As someone who meticulously likes to plan things, I was so impressed and so appreciated knowing we were in good hands. Our tour guides (Ash and Mamdouh) were also spectacular! They relayed all the rich history and facts we were looking for, while also informing us on what to keep our eyes out for in the touristy spots they are not allowed to go into (to minimize crowds). Truly, each of them went above and beyond and made the trip as fantastic as it was. I think it's also important to state how SAFE my friend and I felt the entire time - as two solo female travelers we never felt uncomfortable and that's in large part due to MET and how they operate. Not only were we with our guides the entire time, but our luggage (which was in the van with us all day) was safely guarded by the drivers who never leave the vehicle and are always just a stone's throw away to take us to our next destination. I really can't say enough good things about Your Egypt Tours!! As a world traveler, they are one of the best tour groups I have ever come across! I know it can be overwhelming to resarch and read a bunch of reviews, but trust when I say YET is 100% worth it! Read more Written October 9, 2023

Day 2: Excursion to the pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara

Egypt Itinerary 8 Days

Giza Pyramids Complex is one of the earliest monuments that ever witnessed the greatness of the pharaohs dating back more than 4,000 years. It is on the Giza Plateau. It consists of three pyramids of Cheops , Khafra , and menkaure , six smaller pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.

The great pyramids: the great pyramid is the largest in the Giza Complex and is considered the only surviving of the seven wonders of the ancient world. King Cheops built it in 20 years with 2,300,000 limestone blocks. Dating back to 2580 BC, it is 147m tall and was the tallest building in the world for 3,800 years until the construction of Lincoln Cathedral in England in 1311.

The Incredible Sphinx: He is considered the guardian of the Giza Complex. King Khafra built the Sphinx. The Sphinx is a giant statue with a human head (symbol of intelligence) and a lion’s body (symbol of strength) with the face of King Khafra. It measures 73 m long and 19 m high. It was carved from a single piece of limestone.

Valley temple:  The Valley Temple was where the mummification process was carried out since the ancient Egyptian empire (26862181 BC). It is one of the best-preserved structures of ancient Egypt. It was built of limestone with a granite overlay by King Khafre, and perfect diorite stone statues representing Khafre were discovered.

The Step Pyramid of Saqqara: It is the gigantic structure of the golden age of the founders of the pyramids because it is the first pyramid built. It was built by the famous architect Imhotep who was revered in the Greek era. The Step Pyramid has a unique design in that it was made with six steps. The pyramid is 62 meters high, surrounded by the gigantic funerary Complex of Pharaoh Djoser by a great wall.

The city of Memphis: Memphis was the first capital in Egypt. It was built by Pharaoh Mena in 3200 BC when he unified Upper and Lower Egypt. Memphis was the capital from Dynasty I to Dynasty VIII. The city was protected by the god Ptah (god of creation and crafts in ancient Egypt). We go to Cairo airport to take the flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you stay at a 5-star hotel and spend the night at the hotel. Don’t miss booking a tour of Memphis, Saqqara, and the Pyramids of Giza Tour  for many things to see & do.

To Be impressed by one of the most outstanding human achievements and greatness of the Egyptian pharaohs’ empire: The Pyramids of Giza – one of the seven wonders of the world by booking ( Half Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza  & Camel Ride in the Pyramids of Giza )

Days 3: Tour the temples of Abu Simbel

temples-of-Abu-Simbel

On the third day of your 8 days in Egypt, you should leave the hotel early w to visit a very prominent temple in Egypt:

Abu Simbel Temple: King Ramses II built the Temple in 1200 BC to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Kadesh in 1274. Abu Simbel Temple is divided into two temples: the large one dedicated to King Ramses II and the other dedicated to his wife Nefertari.

The festival of the Sun is celebrated in the Temple on February 22 and October 22 (the king’s date of birth and coronation). The incredible thing about those temples is that they were moved in 1968 by UNESCO because they could plunge into the water of Lake Nasser after building the Aswan High Dam . We return to Aswan to have lunch at a local restaurant and then go to the railway station to take the first-class train to Luxor. Upon arrival, you stay in a 5-star hotel and spend the night at the hotel.

Days 4: Visit the important Attractions of Luxor – Go to Hurghada

Attractions of Luxor

After breakfast, leave the hotel to continue your journey with the critical sights in Luxor.

Karnak Temple is considered the largest Temple in Egypt and the world, and it is known as the Temple of Amun, and it was called the Middle Kingdom. It contains shrines to various gods such as Osiris, Isis, and Ptah, but the Complex was mainly dedicated to the Theban triad (Amun, Mut, Khonsu).

The Temple of Hatshepsut : The Temple of Hatshepsut is the best-preserved Temple in Egypt. It was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut and the god Amun. The Temple was built in 1479 BC at the time of the new empire in the 18th dynasty for 15 years. The construction of this Temple is reflected in the following temples of the new kingdom. You enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant in Luxor before continuing the sightseeing Luxor.

The Valley of the Kings contains 63 kings from the Eighteenth Dynasty to the Twentieth Dynasty. There are tombs of famous pharaohs such as Seti I, Ramses III, Ramses VI, and many others. Tutankhamun’s grave is the most visited in the Valley of the Kings.

The Colossi of Memnon are two giant statues representing King Amenophis III, and they are the remains of the funerary Temple of Amenophis III. The annual Nile floods damaged the statues, and in 27 BC, they were destroyed by an earthquake.

We go to Hurghada by a modern vehicle with air conditioning. Upon arrival in Hurghada, you check into a 5-star hotel and spend the night at the hotel.

Days 5: snorkeling in Hurghada

snorkeling in Hurghada

After breakfast at your hotel, we will enjoy a snorkeling tour and other underwater activities. Then we return to the hotel to spend the night in the hotel.

Hurghada is known for its water sports activities, nightlife, and warm climate. Many Europeans come to Hurghada for regular holidays, especially during the winter.

Hurghada is particularly famous for the extraordinary development of coral formations and the many dream islands that characterize this area. Opposite Hurghada, you will find the Giftun Island National Park , many desert islands, and islets rich in the stunning seabed. It is no coincidence that it is a privileged destination for many people from all over the world.

In addition to Giftun Island and Small Giftun are the islands of Abu Ramada , Magawish, and Munkar. Hurghada is divided into three main hamlets: El Dahar, the oldest nucleus; Sekalla, the most modern; and El Korra Road, the latest construction in order of time. Sekalla is home to mid-range hotels, while in Dahar, you will find the bazaar, post office, and bus station.

Day 6: Safari adventure in Hurghada

Egypt Itinerary 8 Days

After breakfast, you will continue your 8 days in Egypt by enjoying a desert safari adventure in Hurghada. We return to the hotel, and you spend the night in Hurghada.

Don’t miss this complete guide: Desert Safari in Egypt .

Day 7:Take The Flight To Cairo – Visit Cairo Attractions

Egypt Itinerary 8 Days

You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Hurghada; then, you will go to Hurghada airport and take the flight to Cairo. Your visits :

The Egyptian Museum :  The Egyptian Museum is one of the largest museums in the world and houses numerous artifacts and monuments dating back more than 4,000 years and belonging to various pharaonic periods. It has a display of mummies of the most famous pharaohs of ancient Egypt. The museum has more than 120,000 authentic pieces; made of gold, silver, precious stones, wood and stone, statues, jewels, and funerary objects such as the solid gold mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. You can also see the mummies of the pharaohs. After finishing the visit to the Egyptian Museum, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting:

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization: The permanent collection is divided into two different areas, one chronological and the other thematic, since it exhibits the crafts, materials, cultures, industries, and thought during different centuries and eras.  (Don’t check our A Journey to National Museum of Egyptian Civilization )

The hanging Church :  It is known by the name the Hanging Church because it was built on the remains of the gate of the Roman fortress. It was built in the first century and finished construction in the third century. The Church was built where the Holy Family lived when they fled from the Palestinian ruler. It has 110 icons, the oldest dating back to the 8th century.

The Mosque of Amr Ibn El-As: is considered the most famous mosque because it is the first mosque in Egypt and Africa. A tomb of the son of Amr Ibn Alas is located in the corner of the mosque. The Mosque of Amr Ibn Alas was built 641 after Christ and rebuilt many times during the Islamic times of Egypt. Thus it is the best living example of the progress of Islamic architecture through the centuries.

The Ben Ezra Synagogue: This Synagogue is one of the largest and oldest synagogues in Cairo. The Synagogue used to be a Christian church. Still, when he increased the annual taxes imposed by the Muslim rulers in the dynasty of Ahmed Ibn Tulun, Abraham Ibn Ezra of Jerusalem 882 bought the Church for 20 thousand dinars. From this time, the Church converted to a Jewish synagogue. It was the most critical Synagogue in Egypt until the year 1950.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar is the busiest street in the Middle East. It dates back to the year 970, after Christ, when they built the city of Cairo. It was one of the main streets of the old town of Cairo. The entire street contains Islamic architecture and art and many shops and cafes in the same Islamic style. At the end of the day we go to the hotel in Cairo, you stay and spend the night at the hotel.

These are some of the must-sees, but if you want to know everything to see in Cairo, check out our complete guide:  Cairo Attractions & Old Cairo  & Islamic Cairo Attractions .

Day 8:The End of your tour to Cairo, Luxor, Abu Simbel, and Hurghada

Enjoy your last breakfast in the land of the pharaohs; then we go to Cairo airport to end your 8 days trip in Egypt and return to your land with the best memories.
