I t seemed nigh impossible for most fans to get tickets to Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" when it first began in 2023. Even as its international leg starts in 2024 with a few added North American dates for later in the year, it still appears to require a fair amount of luck or an open wallet to get to see her perform live.

Swift's loyal fanbase has ensured that just about anytime tickets go on sale, the windows to sign up for them open and shut in a matter of seconds. Fans need to be on a waitlist just to get access codes just to have a chance at  possibly  landing tickets. Even then, there is still no guarantee.

The secondary market offers a much more ready-made chance to purchase tickets, but those that are available are also significantly more expensive, as those lucky enough to snipe tickets through the original means sell them off at larger rates to those hoping to have a chance at seeing her perform.

Super Bowl tickets are even more difficult to obtain. The game sells out early at face value with the seats going to legacy fans like season-ticket holders through a lottery system or enter through a prize system. Just about all the seats available are sold through the re-sale market. Prices just to get into the stadium and sit in the loftiest of nosebleed seats will often run fans several thousand dollars.

This year's Super Bowl will see the "Eras Tour" and the NFL intersect — somewhat. Swift will be at the Super Bowl to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. She will not be performing, however. That will be left strictly to Usher.
