Five Finger Death Punch and Brantley Gilbert tour again, with Resch Center stop

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Fans of country and rock music will get a little bit of both in a newly announced Resch Center show.

Rock group, Five Finger Death Punch and country music artist, Brantley Gilbert, will join forces in a U.S. arena tour, stopping in the Green Bay area on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The tour also includes newcomer Corey Marks.

This is not the first time Five Finger Death Punch and Brantley Gilbert toured together. The two artists brought the worlds of hard rock and country rock together when they partnered on their global #1 hit, “Blue On Black” in 2019. The track also featured Brian May and the song’s original performer, Kenny Wayne Shepherd. The song was in support of The Gary Sinise Foundation, to benefit first responders. To date, the collaboration has garnered 110 million YouTube views and 62 million Spotify streams.

Five Finger Death Punch are set to release their ninth studio album, AFTERLIFE, on Aug. 19, which features the latest single, "Times Like These." Five Finger Death Punch recently set the world record for most consecutive Mainstream Rock Airplay #1 hits. The band also appears on screen in the upcoming Better Noise Films movie, The Retaliators in theaters starting September 14.

And Brantley Gilbert recently released “Son Of The Dirty South” featuring Jelly Roll. He's also known for multiple country hits, including, "Bottoms Up," "The Weekend," and "One Hell of an Amen."

Fan club pre-sales for both artists start at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16. All other pre-sales begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 18. The general ticket on-sale is Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. at ReschCenter.com, by phone 800.895.0071 or at the Ticket Star box office in the Resch Center.

ASHWAUBENON - Five Finger Death Punch and Brantley Gilbert are coming to the Resch Center — on the same night.

The metal band fronted by Ivan Moody and the country singer with the brass knuckles microphone are teaming up as a one-two punch for a co-headlining arena tour that will stop in Ashwaubenon at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3. It's one of 22 dates on a fall swing that begins Nov. 9 and wraps Dec. 17.

While it may look like an unlikely pairing, the artists do have a history. 5FDP's 2019 cover of Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "Blue on Black" features Gilbert, Shepherd and Queen guitarist Brian May.

Canadian country-rock artist Cory Marks will open the Resch Center show.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com , 800-895-0071 and the Resch box office. That's also the same day 5FDP's ninth studio album, "AfterLife," comes out.

Tickets are $29.50, $59.50, $79.50, $99.50 and $129.50. General admission pit is $129.50. Aisle seats are $20 more.

Fan club presales for both artists begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday. All other presales begin at 10 a.m. Thursday.

It'll be return trips for both acts. 5FDP sold out the Resch Center in 2018 for a show with Breaking Benjamin, with Moody prowling the stage in a walking boot due to a foot injury, but no less fierce. 

As part of that stop, Moody donated 50 sleeping bags to Pillars, an Appleton organization that helps the homeless in the Fox Cities.

Gilbert's  Fire't Up Tour made a stop in at the Resch in February 2020, just weeks before the pandemic halted touring worldwide. His Black Out Tour also came through the Resch in 2016. In between those shows, he played halftime for the Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers game at Lambeau Field for "Monday Night Football" in 2019.

Five Finger Death Punch Announce Co-Headlining 2022 Tour With Country Star Brantley Gilbert

This fall, Five Finger Death Punch will embark on a co-headlining tour with country rocker Brantley Gilbert and special guest Cory Marks.

t's the first time this tour's co-headliners will link up since 2019, when the two artists covered " Blue on Black ," which also featured Queen guitarist Brian May and the song's originator, Kenny Wayne Shepherd . The song benefitted The Gary Sinise Foundation, which aids first responders, and was a massive hit worldwide.

The run kicks off in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Nov. 9 and will continue through Dec. 17 with a closing performance set for Las Vegas as Five Finger Death Punch go out in support of their new album,  Afterlife , which will be released later this week (Aug. 19). FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has announced a headlining U.S. tour this summer with support from MARILYN MANSON and SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL . The trek will kick off on August 2 in Hershey, Pennsylvania and run through September 19 when it will conclude in Houston, Texas.

Prior to the U.S. run, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will embark on a tour of Europe in the spring for more stadium dates with METALLICA on the latter act's "M72" world tour in addition to headlining shows with special guest ICE NINE KILLS and select appearances at major festivals.

The digital deluxe edition of "AfterLife" , FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's critically acclaimed ninth studio album, will arrive on April 5 via Better Noise Music . The deluxe version will include the original 12 tracks recorded with the band's longtime producer Kevin Churko ( OZZY OSBOURNE ) in addition to four bonus tracks: three acoustic versions of the album's songs "The End" , "Judgement Day" and "Thanks For Asking" plus a brand new song, "This Is The Way" , featuring the late rapper DMX . An official music video for "This Is The Way (Featuring DMX)" is directed by none other than highly influential filmmaker Hype Williams , a longtime friend and close collaborator of the late DMX . Hailed by The New York Times in 2024 as "The Nineties Wunderkind," Hype Williams is known for his seminal work with luminaries like Tupac , Wu-Tang Clan and Jay-Z , among others. The video will be released to coincide with the deluxe edition of "AfterLife" on April 5.

"AfterLife" is FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's first album with its latest addition, renowned British virtuoso Andy James , who replaced Jason Hook in 2020. James was previously featured on "Broken World" , a song that was included on the second installment of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's greatest-hits collection, "A Decade Of Destruction – Volume 2" , which came out in the fall of 2020.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH played its first show as the support act for METALLICA on the "M72" tour on August 6, 2023 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH was originally supposed to support METALLICA on several European shows last spring but ended up canceling the dates in order to allow singer Ivan Moody to fully recover from a hernia surgery.

Manson has faced a number of legal obstacles in recent years, including being sued by several women with allegations of sexual and other abuse. Some of those lawsuits have been dismissed or settled.

Last September, Manson , whose legal name is Brian Warner , was sentenced to 20 hours of community service and a fine after pleading no contest to blowing his nose on a videographer at a 2019 concert in New Hampshire.

In legal documents filed in November 2022, Marilyn confirmed he was dropped by his record label, Loma Vista Recordings , and talent agency CAA , and claimed to have been "excluded from Hollywood social and business gatherings."

Manson went on to say that his music was suffering, he couldn't tour, he couldn't release his book, his paintings had been "devalued" and his art shows had been "indefinitely postponed."

Manson said his "false portrayal as a rapist, abuser, and child pornographer" had also caused him to lose two acting roles, Starz series "American Gods" and Paramount+ series "The Stand" .

Metal band Five Finger Death Punch and country rock singer Brantley Gilbert are joining forces for a 22-date tour. The unlikely pairing will also be joined by Canadian country singer Cory Marks.

Although the genre-mashup might seem odd at first glance, the metal band fronted by Ivan Moody and Gilbert released a cover of Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s “Blue on Black” in 2019 that also featured Shepherd and Queen guitarist Brian May.

Produced by Live Nation, the co-headlining arena tour will begin on Nov. 9 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and close on Dec. 17 with a performance in Las Vegas. You won’t be in “Bad Company” when heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch take over the Wells Fargo Arena in August.

The band from Las Vegas, Nevada will perform on Aug. 19 and are joined by controversial rocker Marilyn Manson and Russian deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail.

Some of Five Finger Death Punch’s popular songs are “Wrong Side of Heaven,” “A Little Bit Off” and “Welcome To The Circus.” Formed in 2005, Five Finger Death Punch recently released a special, digital deluxe edition of their 2022 album, “AfterLife.”

Five Finger Death Punch performed at another large Iowa show in recent years: the Iowa State Fair Grandstand in 2021 .

The hard rockers have joined Metallica for several shows throughout their 2023-2024 world tour.

Megadeth is bringing its iconic live show to North America with a 33-city nationwide tour, Destroy All Enemies, this fall which will include a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio at Riverbend Music Center on Tuesday, September 17.

Bringing along Mudvayne and All That Remains , the tour begins in Rogers, Arkansas on August 2 and runs throughout the month before wrapping in Nashville, Tennessee on September 28.
