Beware hidden costs.

We were surprised by the addition of "environmental fees" onto the rate we had been quoted. One would think that the cost to play golf would be all inclusive. Aside from that the golf course is fun to play and in good shape. We had lunch in the clubhouse and the food was okay and the service good. The locker rooms were in wonderful condition, clean, sweet smelling and fully stocked.

This was our last course and the nicest. Wide fairways with many bunkers which I kept finding. Water everywhere but not really in play until the 18th hole. Greens were in good shape. Our package included lunch at the turn or after golf. At the turn was a brat or hot dog. After was in the pub and was anything up to $10.99 and you covered the difference. The burgers were large and very tasty.

In coming to this web site I found another reviewed titled "POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE". While our situation was different the end result is the same. But I will re-title it HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a disappointment. I also travel with a group to Orlando every February for 4 days of golf and fun. There are 8 of us. Well this year, thanks to Eagle Creek, our trip ended on a sour note. First of all it POURED there were ponds on the 18th green that we could see form the clubhouse. There was a 'lake' on the 18th fairway. EVERY single player out on the course came in when the rain got so heavy we couldn't see twenty feet in front of us. We had played exactly one hole before the skies opened up. We teed off at 1:08PM. We chose eagle creek for it's proximity to the airport. Had we played the full round we would have got to MCO with about 2+ hours to spare before our flight. Once it started raining we waited over an hour for it to SLOW down. It didn't and by the time it finally did - as we were leaving the course - it was too late to go back out and play or we'd be in jeopardy of missing our flights. Besides on some fairways we would have needed a boat to get to our ball(s). A lot of players go to this course on the way home for the same reasons. It let's us get in a Sunday round and then get to the airport. Well once the rain started to fall and everyone came back you can imagine the traffic in the clubhouse. This course is not prepared for such eventualities. The showers had no hot water. There were no towels. I asked the pro shop guys about the weather before packing it in - they told me there was a line of showers heading right for us. No way we could get back out and make our flights. We get back home tlak to our travel agents - MERIT GOLF - they attempted to get a refund for the rain out and Eagle Creek said "We didn't close the course, so we can't offer you a refund". REALLY ? I would have like to see them play cart path only, get in 18 , shower in cold water with no towels and make the airport in time for the flights after the rain delay. So this is the second time our group came to Eagle Creek. A decent track but the people there know as much about customer service as I do about cold fusion. At the least they could have offered us a token gesture. EPIC FAIL. On the basis of customer service alone I wouldn't recommend this course.

I travel with a group to Orlando every February for 4 days of golf and fun. Well this year, thanks to Eagle Creek, our trip ended on a sour note. We book our trip through Golfpac which contacts the courses we want to play, for availability and tee times. Our trip was booked in Nov '14 and Eagle Creek gave us 8am tee times. When we arrived we were RUDLEY told that "You're not playing here today, there is an NCAA tournament on the course!!" Never an I'm sorry for the mistake. Never any help to find us somewhere to play. Obviously, they had to know in November that his tournament was there? This was our last day and we play Eagle Creek as it's close to the airport. So we only had a small window to play somewhere else. Golfpac made some phone calls for us and got us on the North Shore Club for 9 holes. Thank you to Golfpac and North Shore. So what did we learn? We will be calling all of our booked courses next year 2 weeks before departure! And Eagle Creek will no longer be one of those calls.

We had a good time playing this course today. This is a beautiful golf course with wide fairways, but there are challenges, e.g. a lot of sand traps, some are deep bunkers like the British courses; the greens can be tricky; the course is undulating, so there are some blind shots; the water doesn't come into play until the last hole. All these make this an interesting course to play on! Our foursome had a great time!

I've gone to this club twice and always had a blast. The staff is always very nice! Especially the cart girl. The bartenders in the club lounge were very knowledgeable. The two gentlemen in the golf shop were also very nice . Everyone loved my pants :) will be returning soon

I recently tried to use Golfpac to book golf in Florida. I used their online system to book two rounds of golf. Everything was easy to use and I was able to book quickly. What seemed too good to be true was. A day after I made the reservations I got an email letting me know that my times were cancelled. Apparently there was an error with the computer system and they would not honor the price I was originally quoted and paid in full. Overall everyone I talked to could care less about the mix-up and were willing to do nothing to help fix the problem. I wouldn't use this service again as it seems they just don't have their act together. Plenty of better options out there.
