The main temple Bhoramdeo is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple called the Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh was constructed somewhere between the 7th and 11th centuries, and it stands strong ever since. Cherki Mahal is the last temple in the complex dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple was built by Nagwamshi emperor in the 14th century. Smaller in size in comparison to Bhoramdeo temple and Madwa Mahal, Cherki Mahal is not easily locatable as it is situated in a thinly forested area. Madku Dweep

The picturesque island of Madku Dweep is found in the Chhattisgarh district of Bilaspur, next to the serene river Shivnath. The island is called Madku because it resembles a frog, hence the name. 

This island is thought to have enthralling beauty. About 24 hectares of lush vegetation make up the lovely Madku Dweep. The island is renowned for its historical and archaeological significance as well as its ancient temples.

On this island, prehistoric stone tools, epigraphs, and coins have all been found by archaeologists.
