NF coming to Alabama on ‘Hope Tour’ 2024: How to get tickets

NF has announced nearly 30 dates for his “Hope Tour” in 2024, including a show in Alabama. The rapper and producer from Michigan, born Nathan John Feuerstein, is set to perform on May 29 at the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in downtown Birmingham.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster. Prices are $39.50, $49.50, $69.50, $89.50 and $109.50, plus service charges, according to promoter Red Mountain Entertainment. Pre-registration for tickets is open now via Ticketmaster, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 24, at 10:59 p.m. CT. To register, you must sign in to the Ticketmaster site and fill out a registration form.

“Fans of NF are being asked to register ahead of tickets going on sale,” the Ticketmaster website says. “Registration helps block bots, reduces resale and gets more tickets directly into the hands of fans who want to attend the show.

“Registration does not, however, guarantee that every fan will get access to the sale,” the site continues. “We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. A limited number of randomly selected fans will get access to the sale, and others will be put on the waitlist. Getting access to the sale doesn’t guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.” ( See more details on registration here .)

Right now, Birmingham is the only Alabama stop listed on NF’s tour, which runs Feb. 2-June 8. The artist has five concerts scheduled in Australia and New Zealand in February, followed by 22 shows in May and June, in cities ranging from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Sacramento, California.

Aside from Birmingham, other Southern stops include Charlotte, North Carolina (May 18, Spectrum Center), Jacksonville, Florida (May 26, VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena) and Greenville, South Carolina (Bon Secours Wellness Arena).

NF, 32, is no stranger to Birmingham, performing in the past at the Legacy Arena at the BJCC and Iron City. A show scheduled here in October 2021 at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre was canceled due to heavy rains that produced flooding in Pelham.

The artist has five studio albums to his credit as NF, including 2023′s “Hope,” which provided the name for his tour. “Hope” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart in April, and includes the tracks “Motto,” “Happy,” “Pandemonium,” “Let ‘Em Pray” and “Gone” (featuring Julia Michaels).

Two of NF’s previous records, “The Search” (2019) and “Perception” (2017), topped the Billboard 200 chart upon release, cementing NF’s reputation in Christian and mainstream rap. Although NF leans to the spiritual in his lyrics, some regard him as the successor to Eminem. His hard-edged, staccato vocal style is reminiscent of Eminem and NF has said his music is heavily influenced by the iconic rapper.

NF has 3.4 million followers on Instagram , 1.4 million followers on Facebook and a devoted audience on streaming platforms. He has earned two GMA Dove Awards: Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year for 2016′s “Therapy Sesson” and Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year for “Oh Lord.”

Rapper NF Reveals 2024 ‘Hope’ Tour, Registration Required 

The rapper NF is heading out on the second round of his North American tour next year — but fans will have to battle-it-out by registering ahead of time via Ticketmaster to score tickets.

Nathan John Feuerstein, known professionally as NF, is currently on the road in support of his chart-topping 2023 record Hope . The trek kicked-off in North America this year, and he’ll round out 2023 in Europe. The second leg of the trek will kick-off in Australia and New Zealand before he heads to the states, beginning in Milwuakee on May 8. From there, he’ll appear in cities like Indianapolis, Charlotte, Greenville, Dallas, and San Diego before wrapping-up in Sacramento on June 8.

Hope , NF’s sixth studio album, includes singles “Motto” and “Happy.” The LP follows 2019’s The Search , which helped him garner international success with “Time” and “When I Grow Up.”

Fans are asked to register for the event through Ticketmaster to score tickets to the Hope Tour. Registration is open through Sunday, September 24, followed by a presale on September 27 and general on sale on September 29. Ticketmaster noted that fans will be “randomly selected” to get access to the sale, while others will be waitlisted.

Many have been outspoken about Verified Fan. Although some of the biggest artists in the industry use the platform to sell tickets, it has caused woes for fans. During the Olivia Rodrigo GUTS World Tour presale, fans complained of error codes, the inability to enter the sale, and nearly everyone seemed to be waitlisted.

• Rallying Around the Gospel to Change Hearts in Alabama

This Friday kicks off the Greater Birmingham Festival of Hope with Franklin Graham . Read about the man local leaders say initiated the three-day event and how it came about.

Rising 180 feet in the air, Vulcan is one of the most recognizable features of the Birmingham, Alabama, landscape, and at over 100,000 pounds, the largest cast iron statue in the world.

With a hammer in one hand and spear in the other, Vulcan—named after the Roman god of fire and forge—is a symbol of Birmingham’s industrial roots in iron and steel. But this weekend, many locals are hoping the one true God will give the city an even greater foundation to build upon.

“I was wondering what the city could do to display unity. What would it be that we could rally around? And of course I couldn’t think of anything better than the Gospel itself.”

That’s Dr. Mike McLemore, who moved to Birmingham in 1974 after serving four years in the Air Force. Now, as executive director of the Birmingham Baptist Association, he’s serving as a co-leader for the Greater Birmingham Festival of Hope with Franklin Graham happening Friday through Sunday.

In just a couple of days, McLemore will see the answer to a prayer he began over a decade ago. That’s about the time he started joining around two dozen pastors each month to pray for revival and unity in Birmingham —that people would come to know Jesus Christ not only in their heads but in their hearts.

“The only way you’re going to see people change is to have a change of heart,” he said.

He knows and loves the city, but, like many who have lived there a long time, recognizes that some of its historical prejudices are still alive today.

“Birmingham is becoming a melting pot of a lot of groups,” he said, adding that the city has a growing black, Asian and Hispanic population.

Everyone has their biases, he continued, but with Christ, those biases can be overcome.

Over the years, the monthly prayer meetings with area pastors have also started including prayer for local churches, that all denominations will work together.

“We’re praying not only for unity among cultures, but also among the body of Christ,” McLemore said.

Those prayer meetings began in a room near the Vulcan statue, and in late 2013—as the city celebrated 50 years since the Civil Rights Movement, McLemore walked out to the foot of the statue, overlooking the city, to pray some more.

“I knelt down and just cried out to the Lord. We had been praying for revival for so long,” he said. He was ready for something big.

McLemore reached out to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to ask about hosting a Franklin Graham Festival in his city—the same city where Billy Graham first preached in 1964 , five months after a church bombing that killed four African-American girls.

While the city is still dealing with some level of mistrust among different cultures, McLemore said, “so much progress has been made over the last 50 years.” His prayer now is that people will put their trust in Christ, who can transform the community one by one.

After 10 years of praying for a revival in Birmingham, McLemore said now is the time.

“The environment is just ready and ripe for the Festival. This can be a catalyst for a lot of things that we feel like will happen even after the Festival is over. And it won’t ever really be over. … This could be a great spark in Alabama.”
