Dress Code: Strict dress code enforced. Upscale, semi-formal, cocktail attire required for entrance. Men will not be allowed to wear ball caps, plain t-shirts, hi-tops or tennis shoes. If you do not meet the dress code, you may NOT be allowed to board and no refund will be given.

Parking: The SeaFair Miami is docked at Bayfront Park South Dock at Chopin Plaza in downtown Miami adjacent to the InterContinental Hotel. Convenient self parking is available along Chopin Plaza, Biscayne Boulevard, and in multiple parking garages. Downtown Metromover is within walking distance.

Please Note: This party cruise is expected to follow CDC Guidelines with social distancing and masks if & when necessary. All our staff will have necessary PPE for excellent clean service. If this event is canceled due to Covid-19, you will be refunded.

Fireworks may be canceled as well. There will be no refunds if fireworks are not held due to Covid-19. Times may change as well. You'll be notified if the cruise is earlier and no refunds will be granted unless event is canceled.

Disclaimer: If there are incremental weather conditions that cause the ship to not be able to sail safely, the party will still be held on the indoor levels dockside and the event will not be canceled. There will be no refunds unless event is canceled entirely.

Credit Card & ID:

Event Booking:

By purchasing a ticket, package or reservation you're entitled to entry to event you're purchasing it for. Event Cancellations:

If the event is canceled you will receive a refund for the face value of the ticket.

No Refunds:

Unforeseen circumstances beyond promoter’s control will not be grounds for a refund, including but not limited to the following: local or national weather conditions, natural disasters, waiting in lines, extended waits in lines, family emergencies, medical emergencies, employment issues including layoffs, traffic, parking, public or private transportation issues, etc. If you purchased for the incorrect date, location, event, etc, promoter is not obligated to provide a refund, credit, exchange or transfer. If cancellation or transfer request is approved, promoter reserves the right to charge a $10 administrative fee for its time, in addition to charging a $10 restocking fee per ticket if tickets are placed back on sale. Promoters, Venue Owners, Venue Management, Security, Event Staff, and other agents of the event, have the right to refuse entry to any ticket-holder, without a refund, for any reason at their discretion , including but not limited to: disorderly behavior, failing to comply with the rules of the venue, incorrect attire, intoxication, venue capacity, breach of security, and other restrictions. Ticket-holder is aware that the Venue and Talent are subject to change without notice, which are not grounds for a refund. Ticket-holder is aware that amenities promised by Promoter are not guaranteed, and are not grounds for a refund, including but not limited to: VIP amenities, drink specials, drink tickets, gifts, express entry, special areas, celebrity guests, etc. Dissatisfaction with any aspect of the event is not grounds for a refund, including but not limited to: music, DJ(s), decorations or lack thereof, party favors or lack thereof, beverages or lack thereof, alcohol selection, bar staff, food availability and selection, fellow patrons/attendees, venue staff, event staff, security, performances, ambiance, amenities, venue, check-in process, seating or lack of seating, wait in lines, emergency closures of event, emergency return of boats or yachts, delayed commencing of events, early ending of events, public amenities such as fireworks or public performances or the lack thereof, line of sight of public amenities such as fireworks or public performances being blocked by trees, buildings, boats, people, and/or other things, etc.

Release of Liability:

By purchasing the tickets through Eventbrite, you hereby release and forever discharge Promoter from any liability or claims for damages that may arise as a result of your attendance at, and voluntary participation in, the event(s), including claims for personal injury, or damage to personal property, or any other claims for negligence on the part of the event’s Promoter. By purchasing the tickets through Eventbrite for this event, you hereby release and forever discharge event Promoter, and their officers and agents, from any liability or claims for damages that may arise as a result of your attendance and participation at the event(s). It is hereby understood that the purchase of tickets by you and your participation in the events shall not be construed as an assumption on the part of Promoter of responsibility, liability, or control of the events.

By Purchasing tickets for this event, ticket purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless event Promoter, said entities officers, owners, employees, and agents, from and against all claims, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees arising out of or by reason of complying with this Indemnity Clause. Collections & Legal Action Against Debt:

Once you make a purchase, if those funds are removed from the Promoter's account and given back to you, you owe the Promoter that money back, plus applicable fees as outlined below. If you owe money to Promoter, Promoter reserves the right to take legal action against you and/or send you to collections for the recovery of said debt. If you are sent to collection or there is legal action taken against you, you are fiscally responsible for any and all legal costs and fees, directly associated and/or indirectly associated, with recovering the debt owed by you. Promoter's collection’s agencies reserve the right to negatively affect your personal credit score until your debt is paid. Once an account has been placed in collections, the only way to get yourself out of Collections is to pay the debt owed by you to the collections agency.

Arbitration Agreement:

In the event there are any legal disputes against Promoter, by agreeing to this Purchase Policy, you agree that such disputes will be arbitrated. You further agree that the location of arbitration will be set in Los Angeles County, California.

Severability:

If any clause, aspect, part or provisions of this Purchase Policy is found to be null, void, illegal or otherwise unenforceable, the rest of this Purchase Policy remains in full binding effect, and the unenforceable provision(s) shall be deemed modified to the limited extent required to permit the enforcement of said clause that required modification and of the agreement as a whole.

Whether you're indulging in a fabulous New Year's Eve dinner or are foregoing a fancy sit-down feast for a turnt-up open bar, our city has no shortage of options if you're looking to ring in 2024 to the max, including  dazzling fireworks shows . From hotel takeovers to block parties, concerts to cruises, here are the best ways to celebrate New Year's Eve in Miami.

1.  Fontainebleau New Year's Eve 2024

Year after year, Fontainebleau makes waves for its epic New Year’s Eve parties—and 2024 proves to be no different. Cardi B and award-winning producer DJ Gryffin are headlining, ringing in 2024 with a virtual ball drop and countdown as the champagne flows. Premium tickets start at $200 and include a premium open bar, while VIP packages start at $5,000 (but can go all the way up to $35K!). The resort is also offering a Family Experience for $349pp that includes a buffet dinner from 8 to 11pm and premium open bar for adults.

6.  New Year's Eve Live! at Vivo! Dolphin Mall

Why party at one place on New Year's Eve, when you can party at multiple? Vivo! is hosting a New Year's Eve bash sponsored by Miller Light where your ticket grants you access to a number of venues within Dolphin Mall's entertainment plaza, including Sports & Social and PBR, Miami's only cowboy bar. The baseline ticket is $70 and gets you open bar from 9pm to midnight while various VIP packages (from $110 to $175) get you additional perks like seating, food stations and upgraded party favors. 

7.  Dreamland NYE

Who needs one night of parties when you can have four!? Dreamland is Miami’s ultimate LGBTQ+ New Year’s Eve festival. From December 28 through January 1, you can dance the day and night away from South Beach to Wynwood to the likes of Purple Disco Machine, Anabel Englund and KC Lights, with a special DJ set by Trixie. 8.  Magic City Hippies at Miami Beach Bandshell

Groove into 2024 at the Miami Beach Bandshell with Magic City Hippies, returning to the oceanfront stage for their second annual New Year’s Eve celebration. Doors open at 8pm, at which point Miami’s hometown psyche-funk trio will take the stage along with some other local favorites. Tickets start at $37.50.

9.  The Golden Majesty Ball at Queen Miami Beach

If glamorous is the only way you like to describe your New Year's Eve plans, then mark your calendar for The Golden Majesty Ball. More than 15 exquisite performers, musicians, and dancers will take the stage, providing you with over-the-top entertainment as you dine on a multi-course tasting menu. There are two seatings: 6PM and 9pm, but note that the second seating will also require a table minimum. Haute couture black tie is not suggested, but required. 

10.  Tropicana at Seaspice

Ring in 2024 Havana style at Seaspice. The lively riverside restaurant is hosting a New Year's Eve celebration inspired by the iconic Cuban cabaret. Dine and dance all night to Latin beats with a waterside view. Miami’s NYE celebration returns to Bayfront Park with live music, firework show

MIAMI – Bayfront Park is once again hosting their 2023 New Year’s Eve event with plans for a free outdoor concert with a fireworks display and it’s almost time to get the party started.

The event will take place at 301 Biscayne Blvd on Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Miguel Ferro, the Executive Director at Bayfront Park told Local 10 News that he is expecting more than 150,000 people to attend.

Performing will be Latin Grammy Award winners like Willy Chirino, along with countless other performers.

“Willy Chirino, Arturo Sandoval….I can’t stop naming them all,” said Ferro. “The most fun of it is these are local artists, these are Miami artists, and what a best way to celebrate the New Year with our very own people.”

An iconic part of Miami’s New Year’s Eve celebration will also be making a return this year.

The hoisting of the Big Orange at the InterContinental Miami hotel i n Downtown Miami has been a big part of ringing in the New Year for Miamians for more than three decades.

• The Bayfront New Year’s Eve is free, however, please keep in mind that space is limited.

• Doors for General Admission open at 6 p.m.

• Parking is also limited due to the location

Event organizers suggest a ride-share service or public transportation. The Metromover station is located outside of the venue.

They also want to inform the public that no coolers are allowed at the event.

New Year's Eve 2023 Events and Celebrations in Miami

As we get ready to wave 2022 goodbye, we are looking forward to the return of our iconic New Year's Eve celebrations! Miami might not be Times Square, but the city does put on the show come New Year's Eve... and not only that, we get to welcome 2023 in balmy 70 degree weather... on the beach... what could be better?!

The annual countdown bash in Bayfront Park featuring many of today's big-name artists and the fireworks on the bay are back this year, and so are the great variety of countdown celebrations, gala cruises, rooftop bashes... and we do have our very own "Ball Drop" or rather "Orange Drop"...

But Bayfront Park is not the only game in town. Miami Beach , not to be outdone, normally hosts its own mega party. Ocean Drive is where the action is. The party scene here will be sizzling, fireworks and countdown at midnight and a host of parties all around... Miley Cyrus is back in Miami to host NBC's annual New Year's Eve Special together with superstar godmother Dolly Parton and plenty of celebrity guests. It will air live on December 31, from 10:30 pm until 12:30 am and will be live-streamed on Peacock.

For those wanting to toast the New Year in a more calm and peaceful vibe and away from the mayhem, many venues will be hosting special New Year's Eve gala dinners to gather with family and friends as we count down to 2022. Venues in Coconut Grove, Surfside, Sunny Isles, Key Biscayne and Coral Gables are tops.

Miami New Year's Eve Highlight Events and Fireworks

The smashing live event in Bayfront Park including our traditional Big Orange (not yet confirmed for NYE2023), the midnight Fireworks and mega party is the perfect place to welcome the New Year in gorgeous South Florida weather...

This FREE event is one of the most anticipated annual events, many of today's big-name artists are expected to participate and put together a dynamite show.

This year's line-up includes Latin Grammy Award winners like Willy Chirino , virtuoso trompetist Arturo Sandoval , Amaury Gutiérrez and Aymeé Nuviola along with Carlos Oliva, Eduardo Antonio, El Chacal, Lena & Malena Burke, Lenier, Los 3 De La Habana, Lucrecia, Maffio, Ninel Conde, Srta. Dayana and Yolandita Monge, who will perform the best in tropical, urban music and ballads.

The celebration welcomes special guest Nomcebo Zikode , from South Africa, who together with DJ Master KG in 2020 created the popular song "Jerusalema" a hit that has crossed all borders and continents.

Miami's traditional countdown celebration is Big Orange , the city's answer to New York's Ball Drop and one of America's official countdowns.

"Big Orange" is a 35-foot neon icon that is the centerpiece of the countdown to the New Year.

Early on New Year's Eve, Big Orange slowly creeps the 400 feet up the side of the InterContinental Hotel which is adjacent to the park.

Big Orange reaches the top of the building at the stroke of midnight while fireworks explode all around to add that magical sparkle to our lovely Biscayne Bay.

Note that it is still unconfirmed whether Big Orange will go up this year. Last year there were alternate arrangements with a 3D-mapped version of Big Orange being laser-projected onto the side of the Intercontinental Hotel. It is possible that similar arrangements are made this year. Stay tuned! UPDATE: Although the original neon Big Orange will not go up, The City of Miami has teamed up with LaserNet to create a 3D-mapped version of the Big Orange that will be laser-projected onto the side of the Intercontinental Hotel. -->

No bottles, cans, coolers or personal fireworks are allowed at the park.

On a normal day, or rather night, South Beach and Ocean Drive are a happening place, you can imagine what this turns into on New Year's Eve as the city goes all out to throw one colossal street party complete with a splendid fireworks display on the beach:

This is a free street festival for the entire family. Each year revelers pack downtown to ring in the New Year and see the magnificent lighted anchor drop at midnight. Festivities for kids include bounce houses, inflatables, face painting, games, contests, dancing with the DJ, and a special kids countdown at 7:00 pm. When night falls, the party begins for adults with live music on two stages!

Christmas and New Year in Moscow: what to do, where to go? We are getting more and more questions about Christmas and New Year in Moscow and St. Petersburg. So I decided to write two articles for each city to give you as much information as possible about the magical holiday season in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. I will then talk about things not to miss, places to see and of course the Moscow Christmas markets and decorations. Moscow at Christmas time and New Year is magical!

So, how can you enjoy the holiday season in Moscow at Christmas and at New Year Eve? Let’s go!

Winter holiday in Russia

First, a small point on the calendar. Orthodox Christmas takes place on January 7. There is therefore no special event on December 25. On the other hand, New Year is celebrated well on December 31 and it is the most awaited and appreciated holiday of the Russians. In fact, in Russia, Christmas is truly a religious event. Therefore, it’s more like New Year that we give gifts and party. So, Moscow at Christmas time is not as festive as we can imagine.

The heart of the holiday season extends between December 31 and January 7. But the first decorations begin to appear in mid-December. We must therefore aim for this period, if you wish to celebrate Christmas and New Year in Moscow. You can already see Moscow Christmas decorations in early December.

New year in Moscow or in Saint Petersburg?

Even though I love my hometown of St. Petersburg, if you have to choose between New Year in Moscow and St. Petersburg, I would recommend Moscow . This is clearly the destination for those who love this holiday and expect something magical . In Saint Petersburg, it’s also very festive, but much more modestly. However, Moscow Christmas decorations are the best in Russia.

Once in Red Square, don’t forget to enter the GUM. Inside this store, it feels like walking the streets of a European city. There are 3 aisles, 2 floors (3 if you count in the Russian way, because floor 0 does not exist). So it’s a nicely decorated and friendly place to warm up a bit.

Don’t be surprised to see several ice cream vendors. The favorite ice cream for Russians is Plombières ice cream. At GUM, it is served “as before”, that is to say as in Soviet times: in a fine waffle in the shape of glass. It’s called “stakantchik”, a little glass in Russian.

Around Red Square

If you are coming for Christmas and New Years in Moscow, there are neighborhoods not to be missed! Even if the city is decorated everywhere, the concentrate is near the Red Square. Ploshchad means “place” in Russian, ulitsa means “street”.

• Ulitsa Nikolskaya, emblematic street of the 2018 World Cup where all the fans met.
• Ploshchad Revolutsii, opposite the Bolchoi Thetre
• Manezhnaya Ploshchad
• Ulitsa Tverskaya

Moscow Christmas markets

Christmas and New Years in Moscow, first of all the Christmas markets! Moreover, in September 2018 the British daily newspaper The Telegraphe had included Moscow in its TOP 10 of the most beautiful destinations for Christmas markets .

It’s impossible to name all the Christmas markets in Moscow: there are so many! Some last several weeks, others – only a few days. All the parks have their Christmas market, not counting all the other places… Here are the 3 most beautiful in terms of location, duration and decorations:

• On Red Square, opposite GUM, of course! (in general, open from the beginning of December)
• On Ploshchad Revolutsii square
• In Stoleshnikov Pereoulok street (small market)

Interesting places at Christmas and New Year in Moscow

In the blog post What to do in Moscow in winter? I already indicate the main places to see in general in winter. They are valid for the holiday season, if not more. If you’re celebrating Christmas and New Years in Moscow, rest assured, it’s not just Red Square to visit.

VDNKh. This huge Soviet-era exhibition center is getting a makeover. Besides, the place is interesting to visit already without the festivities. Here everything is huge: don’t expect a cute Christmas market. By cons, very few people on weekdays, except the week of January 31 to 7.

Izmailovo. Far from the city center, it is a kremlin (fortress) recently built in the old style where there is a flea market. In winter, with snow, the place takes on the appearance of a Disney tale. There are places to stop for a hot drink or … vodka! A vodka museum is located on the territory of the Kremlin.

Gorky Park. Gorky Park is the most visited park in Moscow. Another nice Muzeon park is nearby. It is therefore possible to do both. In both parks will be installed Christmas markets from December 26. Many more people on weekends than weekdays.

Hermitage Park. It’s a nice little park in downtown Moscow where you meet more Muscovites than tourists. During the holiday season, the park organizes entertainment.

New Year in Moscow

If you come to spend Christmas and New Year in Moscow, know that the most important event for Russians is New Years Day. December 31 is also the most festive time of the year. Some of the Muscovites will stay at home with family and friends, but many will go out to celebrate the arrival of the New Year on the streets of Moscow.

Where to celebrate New Year in Moscow?

We find more or less the same places. For example, you can build an itinerary of several places to make the most of New Years Eve in Moscow.

Red Square. The evening of December 31, Red Square will not finally be open to everyone. There are very few tickets: they are distributed on social criteria and to the active inhabitants of the city (there is a portal where the inhabitants can participate actively in the life of the city by voting, giving proposals … etc). Another possibility to access Red Square the evening of the 31st is to buy tickets for the ice rink. But there are only 500 places and they leave very quickly. In addition, staying all evening on the ice rink (9 p.m. to 1 a.m.) is not necessarily great. The vast majority of people will not be there, but all around. For example, the Zaryadye park from which we can see the Saint Basil’s Cathedral and the Kremlin !

Around Red Square. Very close to Red Square, the party will be on Manezhnaya ploschad and Tverskaya street which will be completely pedestrian. Outdoor concert, street entertainment, music, Moscow Christmas decorations: party atmosphere guaranteed! Zaryadye Park. Also close to Red Square is a new park that runs along the Moskva River. For New Year 2019, Zaryadye park offers a program from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.: songs, dances, acrobatic show, midnight countdown! In addition, all cafes, restaurants and other park services will also be open. Further information on the official Zaryadye website in English . If you decide to stand Christmas and New Year in Moscow, it is a place to discover without a doubt.

In the parks of Moscow. There are party programs in almost every major city park. Gorky Park, Gorky Park and Pobedy Park (with its ice castle) are therefore nice places where you can go. Programs vary from year to year.

Good to know! From December 28, 2019 to January 6, 2020, one end of Tverskaya Street and other streets close to the heart of the city center will be pedestrianized. However, this change will modify the circulation of buses in this area of ​​Moscow.

New Year’s fireworks in Moscow

There is not one article fire, but several! On December 31 in Moscow, fireworks were launched from more than 30 locations.

• When? The big fireworks take place at 1 a.m. This is the time all of Russia will pass in the New Year.
• Where? Pretty much everywhere. The midnight fireworks are the most central, between the Kremlin and Zaryadie Park. You must therefore position yourself near this area, if you want to stay in the heart of the city center. But the fireworks (more than 30 launch sites!) Will cover other places in the city. New Year in Moscow: public transport

Public transport in Moscow operates throughout the night of December 31, according to the official website of the Moscow city hall. In 2019, public transport will be free the night of December 31 (from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.).

For the record, the night of December 31, 2017, 35,000 people celebrated the arrival of New Year at midnight on Moscow’s public transport! In addition, almost 500,000 people took advantage of overnight transportation.

Moscow at Christmas time

Orthodox Christmas in Moscow (and in Russia globally) is January 7, more preciously the night of January 6 to 7 . It’s an important holiday. However, it is not as festive as New Years Day.

Liturgies take place at night in cathedrals and Orthodox churches. The main cathedral in Moscow at Christmas time is the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. It is therefore the liturgy in this cathedral which is transmitted on the main channels of the country live.

In 2020, public transport will operate until 2 a.m. in Moscow at Christmas time.

Moscow is the best destination for Christmas and New Year in Russia!

Journey to christmas.

Moscow’s largest celebration is the ‘Journey to Christmas’, with festive events held for several weeks from December to January all over the city. There are fun events for all ages and interests – kids’ shows for the little ones, music for Moscow’s young people, ice rinks and slides for the adventurous ones, markets for foodies, the list goes on… Each of the 27 festival sites around Moscow has a different theme based on Christmas and New Year’s traditions from around the world. Some of the highlights of 2021/22’s Journey to Christmas include:

• Merchant Christmas at Revolution Square: one of the richest and brightest celebrations in the capital. The theme of this year is medieval Moscow merchants and boyars, so you can expect lots of red, gold and furs, and traditional Russian-style pavilions and decorations peddling festive foods and fun, located in the very heart of Moscow. 
• Christmas Masquerade Ball on Tverskaya Square: have your masks at the ready (yes, those ones too…) to visit the Christmas Masquerade Ball in front of the Moscow City Hall on Tverskaya Square. Decorated with illuminated archways, fir trees, nutcrackers, masquerade masks, and a homely centrepiece with a fireplace and candles, this is sure to warm the heart of anyone who visits!
• Scandinavian Christmas on Novy Arbat: get some holiday hygge on the Novy Arbat, where four festivals merge into one on this sweeping street. Here you’ll find a mini forest of decorated Christmas trees, cute, Scandi-style pavilions, and a beautiful carousel at the centre.

Moscow’s most famous festive fair takes place on Red Square. Festive bonanza at Turandot

Moscow’s elite restaurant, Turandot, is famous for its extravagant celebrations over the festive period. And this year’s certainly don’t disappoint!

The theme of Turandot’s New Year’s party is the gloss, glamour and fun of the 1970s disco! Legendary New York nightclub Studio 54 meets Moscow party vibes, with live music from Sergey Lazarev and Christina Orbakaite, a cocktail-and-disco-glam dress code and a 6-course chef’s menu. Ticket prices are not for the faint of heart, ranging from 55,000 – 199,000 roubles per person, but this truly will be a New Year’s like no other in one of Moscow’s most fashionable restaurants.

Outdoor entertainment

Fantastic fireworks.

Holding glorious firework displays on holidays has been a Russian tradition since the times of Peter the Great – New Year without fireworks is like New Year without a tree or Olivier Salad! There are locations all over the city where Muscovites can enjoy the beautiful show, but the main firework display begins at midnight on Bolshoy Zamoskvorechy Bridge next to Red Square. Those lucky enough to be in nearby parks, squares and streets will experience 50,000 fireworks released into the sky, a dazzling display welcoming 2022. As this is the most magnificent display in the country, the surrounding streets are packed. Many Muscovites choose to watch the display on television, or head to smaller, but no less wondrous displays elsewhere in the city:

Ice skating and slides

As part of the Journey to Christmas festival, there are 18 ice rinks spread across Moscow where you can skate for free! Aside from these, Moscow’s famous parks make the most of the frozen temperatures to open ice rinks. They include Gorky Park, Izmailovsky Park, Sokolniki Park and Babushkinsky Park. If you prefer a more adrenaline-filled activity, then you’re in luck – ice slides are hugely popular in Russia, and the best ones can be found on Red Square, in the Hermitage Garden, VDNKh, Luzhniki, Bauman Garden, Sokolniki Park and Izmailovsky Park.
