Through a large revolving door, inside the scene is of shimmering polished surfaces -- glass panels, mirrors, and stone floors reflecting sharp, contemporary lines, low-profile furnishings, and the glare from numerous spotlights. Minimalist 21st-century styling continues throughout the hotel with sleek, smart corridors dotted with design furniture and the occasional wall of brick-effect tiling for a flourish of post-industrial chic -- though it can all end up feeling a little sterile. Clientele are a mixture of business guests who appreciate the no-nonsense, modernity of the hotel and tourists keen to stay soak up views of the iconic tower.

Best View of the Eiffel Tower – Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Suite Review

This suite was, by far, the best place I’ve ever stayed in my life. No doubt about it. The suite was bigger than my whole flat AND it had the best view of the Eiffel Tower from the room. I put hours of research into this one and if you want a room in a hotel with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France then look no further. You’ll struggle to find anything better than this. Here is my Pullman Eiffel Suite / Penthouse Eiffel Suite review, within the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel.

Updated in 2023: Note that the room is now called the Penthouse Eiffel suite, rather than just the Eiffel Suite.

One of the best private views of the Eiffel Tower doesn’t come cheap. It’s the most I’ve ever paid for one night in a hotel. I’d normally expect a week or so in a hotel for the cost of it! This is the only suite of this type in the whole hotel so if you do want it then you might have to be quick for popular dates. Let’s have a look at the Pullman Eiffel Suite and what you get for your money.

The Penthouse Eiffel Suite

The suite gives you 110m 2 of space, a whole 50% bigger than the flat I was living in at the time in Scotland ! The amount of space is crazy. Especially when you consider that the average room size in a UK hotel is around 32m 2 …

As soon as you enter the room you see your bar area on the right. The bar is well stocked with a mini fridge containing prosecco, wine, beer, water and soft drinks. Only the water and soft drinks are complimentary but the other drinks are no more expensive than you’d normally pay in a hotel. There’s also tea and coffee (Nespresso machine) available plus a selection of glasses and mugs depending on what you’re drinking.

The next area is a seating area with a corner sofa, table and a 46” flat-screen TV with Bose speaker set up for either music or the TV. The whole suite has floor to ceiling glass windows and doors so the light and view is always there for you. After the sitting area, there’s a big marble dining table with four comfy chairs where you can enjoy the room service options (detailed below). You also have the option of eating outside at the table on the balcony if the weather is nice enough for that. There’s also a bathroom just before you get to the bedroom.

Next up is the bedroom, which can be closed off from the main suite with sliding doors. The bed is a king-size bed with some of the comfiest pillows I’ve ever slept on. The bedroom is a nice size with everything you’d usually expect in the room with the addition of a chaise longue as well as another 46” flat-screen TV. The bedroom also has double doors straight out to the balcony.

On the other side of the bedroom is the massive bathroom area. In the corner, it has a double bath with a hefty selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower area has an amazing rainfall shower with the use of a hand shower available too. In the main room, it also has two sinks with two big mirrors and a second toilet.

If you’re staying for an extended amount of time (congrats on the lottery win!) then the Pullman Eiffel Suite offers plenty of storage space including a walk-in wardrobe room. There is also a Bose dock with an iPad to play music throughout the suite.

My Favourite Bit – The Best View of the Eiffel Tower

This Pullman Eiffel Suite review wouldn’t be complete without pictures of the view. As I mentioned before, I researched loads to find the best Eiffel Tower view from a hotel room and this was by far my top find. I even asked the concierge service I get through my American Express Platinum card and they couldn’t find anywhere better either. Therefore, the USP of this suite is definitely the view of the Eiffel Tower from the room.

There is also a continuous balcony right from one side of your suite to the other with a table and some chairs too.

Top Tip: From 6pm, the Eiffel Tower sparkles for five minutes on the hour every hour until 1am. Perfect for those Instagram pictures.

The hotel is on the left bank of Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower (obviously). It has a massive 430 rooms, with nine different types plus three different suite types. There’s also the FRAME brasserie and a bar. Check in starts at 2pm and we were able to request an early check-in so we arrived at around noon. The check-out is up to 11am but, again, we requested a check-out of noon and they were more than accommodating.

How to get there

The hotel is roughly 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is a short five-minute walk away and you can get there from the Charles de Gaulle airport using a combination of the RER B and RER C services in just under an hour. The cost of this is around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way. An alternative is taking Le Bus Direct on line 2 . This takes roughly 60-70 minutes and it will cost you 18€ (£15 / $20) one way but you won’t have to change at all. You could also drive as paid parking is available at the hotel.

As we had the suite, the great view of the Eiffel Tower from the room, and the massive marble table, it would’ve been silly to go down to the brasserie so we opted for room service. The starters ranged from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup up to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast and a grain bowl in between.

The main courses started at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine to 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We both went for the steak because why not! It was excellent. The hotel staff brought it up, kept it on a hot plate while he set the table out for us which was nice. The other main course options were a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.

The desserts were around 12€ (£10 / $13) on average with chocolate fondant, cheese and fruit salad options. Some of the dishes across the three courses were available 24 hours a day too with healthy options marked on the menu, with its healthy menu section. There is also a TV Dinner option where you get a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32).

Would I stay here again? Yes

I would absolutely stay here again. The price of the suite might put almost everyone off but for a one-off I loved it. The suite is fantastic and how many times will you be able to say you stayed in a room with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower? If only I had the money to stay at places like this for all of my trips!

Have visited Paris a few times and I’m always awed by this monument however many times I see it. What a great view from the room and I must admit apart from that view I’m a fan of Pullman properties. Would definitely consider on my next trip to Paris. It’s got all you need from a great hotel.

I used to live and work in Paris and I totally wish to have a view like this in the city. However, I just saw another apartment block near the Moulin Rouge and heard those green machines in the road every morning cleaning the streets. God I used to hate 4am every morning. Now I am back in London but visit Paris regular but never really stay in hotels in the centre of the city however if I did, I would love to stay here. Looks clean, nice, quaint and above all, if I could wake up to the world’s largest climbing frame…sorry, Eiffel Tower (English joke), then that would be totally awesome. 🙂 The food in the menu looks reasonable priced for a Paris hotel as well. Have made a note of this hotel for the next visit in a few weeks time.

We have never stayed in a Pullman Hotel before. But I must admit that view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris would cause me to look at this hotel for sure. Good to know that there is only one suite with this view. And that it needs to be planned well in advance. We like to have lots of space to spread out and work. So this suite would definitely fit the bill. If I didn’t get distracted by the view! Good to splurge on something special some times.

The Eiffel Suite looks a great place to stay with all luxury of having the view of famous Eiffel tower from your room. Good to know that it is spacious and big enough even than your flat size in Scotland. Good to know that they offer complimentary water and soft drinks. So I could guess how much the room with such great views and location must have costed! Il bar, ristorante e terrazza FRAME è il luogo ideale per incontri cosmopoliti. Alcune camere e sale riunioni offrono vista sulla Senna, sul Trocadéro e sulla Torre Eiffel.

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte nella camera con vista sulla Tour Eiffel: la vista, direttamente dal letto è strepitosa. La camera è bellissima e dotata di ogni confort. La colazione molto varia e fornita di tutto. Fantastica l'attenzione mostrata all'occasione del compleanno di mia moglie. Grazie a tutto lo staff.
