The feeling of remoteness on the savannah is our camp’s key alluring point, where giraffes & buffalos can be seen placidly roaming freely amongst your tents at night or listen to the stories being told around the camp fire after a game drive .

Furthermore, at Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp there are several common areas such as dining tent, lounge and camp fire all decorated exquisitely and carefully designed to make you feel an unforgettable once in a life’s time experience at the Serengeti National Park.  Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp´s living area is open to be able to have a 360º view, decorated with leather sofas, cushions and candles recreating a vintage atmosphere, dressed with original furniture and pieces carefully crafted by local artisans.

OUR LUXURY TENTS

Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp offers the highest and finest service to our guests. Our intimate tented camp is in an off-the-beaten track location, where guests are accommodated in six large canvas luxury tents with en-suite bathroom provided with local handmade washbasin and bucket shower. Inside, an eclectic blend of details reflects the true spirit of the old safaris.

Luxury tents are decorated with representative elements of that time such as safari chairs, luggage racks and writing desks where old explorers wrote their diaries. Two of them offer the possibility of becoming family tents adding two more people.

Tents are equipped with two queen beds, mohair blankets, 100% percale cotton sheets and feather duvets. Floors are covered by spectacular and uneven carpets made with strong natural fibre woven by the Mbulu’s women community. Also, the glassware is made by the Shanga’s community, one of many sustainable projects that East Africa Camps supports.

A secret place in the heart of Serengeti, Seronera, will make you think that you are one of the few humans in this part of the world.

“ We stayed here 1 night in order to do a balloon ride over the Serengeti. We had a long day on safari so unfortunately we arrived after dark so could not have a decent look around, but the tents were great and well equipped with comfy queen bed, toilet, wash basin area and open air shower room. ( no roof) food tent was great and food was lovely. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They arranged a super early wake up call for us and the staff all got up early ( 440 am) to wake us and serve us breakfast! Amazing guys and thank you! I was a little taken aback when I saw the pull shower for the first time ( I have never done camping before and this is def not roughing it) but once it was filled with warm water it was really pleasant having a shower in our tent where we could see the thousands of stars in the sky! Everything about Pumzika was pure magic. From the design and decor of the tents, to the deep savannah setting of the camp, the meals, the drinks and the Out Of Africa vibes made our stay unforgettable. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. I would come back any time here.

Amazing views, grounds, staff, accommodations and food! It exceeded our expectations! Animals can be heard (and seen) through the night and we were even able to see lions and hyenas as we were leaving the camp! Top notch!

When you have the opportunity to be secluded in the wilds of the Serengeti where you can witness buffalo and giraffes roaming around your camp, it is thrilling.

Additionally, you have two of the largest lion prides in the park nearby making it easier for possible sightings.  It is the seclusion and remoteness that draws people into the Pumzika and leaves them wishing they didn't have to leave.

The Pumzika can proudly acknowledge that they deliver the highest and finest services to their guests.  There are six spacious luxury tents that feature en-suite bathrooms that deliver authentic African decour throug and through.  You will find handmade washbasins and bucket showers that add to your safari adventure.

The traditional explorer is right at home with safari themed writing desks and chairs, luggage racks, and other reflections of the safaris of old.  Comfort awaits in your queen bed draped in 100% percale cotten sheets and a mohair blanket.

Pumzika holds nothing back when it comes to your dining experience.  You can opt to dine in the authentic safari-tented dining room or opt for a more secluded table out under the skies.  The stars are brilliant and make for divine lighting during the evening hours.

You can expect local and fresh foods that are crafted by the culinary chef into both international and local cuisines.  Your pallette will appreciate the opportunity to indulge in these delicacies.

It is not fair when you call your amenities buffalo, giraffe, and other Serengeti plains wildlife but it is true.  Glassware crafted by the Shanga community adds to the authenticity of the camp while also investing in the local community.

Pumzika luxury safari camp is a mid-range accommodation (3 star) found in the rural/remote areas of seronera in  Serengeti national park in Tanzania. One can reach the camp by road or air transport to the close seronera airstrip   where many flights land.   It takes approximately 330km {6 hours } drive from Arusha town to the park and  2 hours to fly from  Arusha to   seronera  airstrip  then  20km (35 minutes drive)  to the camp from the airstrip.   The camp is convenient and affordable ( ideal place for safari) to   visitors with its infinity stunning view of savannah, wild beasts that migrate from Kenya to Lake Victoria due to drought   , Serengeti plains   and surrounding area as it gives a great and memorable experience. The camp is under East African   luxury   camps   that offers different and  best accommodation in Tanzania  and Kenya . 

Pumzika luxury safari  camp is  comprised  of  11 elegant  and  luxurious   tents  that reflects traditional African art of stylish with  modern comfort.  Tents  are  well decorated and  furnished with private en suite facilities  like flushing toilets , hot and cold showers, flat screen TV, minibars,  mosquito nets  and other facilities  .  Tents   have verandas,   sitting area and balconies,   you relax while overlooking the spectacular view of   Serengeti   savannah plains, wild beasts that visits the lodge   and surrounding area.  Tents have excellent clean and washed beddings with king sized beds. Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp sets itself apart from the rest by offering the utmost exclusivity and comfort for our guests, in the heart of Serengeti´s National Park situated in the most exclusive area of Seronera, as far from civilisation as we know it.

The living area is open to be able to have a 360º view, decorated with cushions and candles recreating a vintage atmosphere, dressed with original furniture and pieces carefully crafted by local artisans to make you experience an unforgettable safari.

OUR LUXURY TENTS Our small luxury camp is in an off-the–beaten track location, where guests are accommodated in six extremely large canvas tents with own bathroom provided with a local handmade washbasin and bucket shower. Inside, an eclectic blend of details reflects the true spirit of the old safaris.

Luxury tents are decorated with representative elements of the time such as safari chairs, luggage racks and writing desks where old explorers wrote their diaries. Two of them offer the possibility of becoming family tents with with the option for adding two people provided with two large beds of equal quality and comfort.

Our camp will offer the highest and finest service where tents are equipped with spacious big beds, mohair blankets, 100% percale cotton sheets and feather duvets. Floors are covered by spectacular and uneven carpets made with a strong natural grass, woven by the Mbulu’s women community. Also, the glassware is made by the Shanga’s community, one of many sustainable projects that East Africa Camps supports.

Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp

Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp sets itself apart from the rest by offering the utmost exclusivity and comfort for our guests, in the heart of Serengeti´s National Park situated in the most exclusive area of Seronera, as far from civilization as we know it.

The living area is open to be able to have a 360º view, decorated with cushions and candles recreating a vintage atmosphere, dressed with original furniture and pieces carefully crafted by local artisans to make you experience an unforgettable safari.

Our Luxury Tents

Our small luxury camp is in an off-the–beaten track location, where guests are accommodated in six extremely large canvas tents with own bathroom provided with a local handmade washbasin and bucket shower. Inside, an eclectic blend of details reflects the true spirit of the old safaris.

Luxury tents are decorated with representative elements of the time such as safari chairs, luggage racks and writing desks where old explorers wrote their diaries.

Two of them offer the possibility of becoming family tents with with the option for adding two people provided with two large beds of equal quality and comfort.

Our camp will offer the highest and finest service where tents are equipped with spacious big beds, mohair blankets, 100% percale cotton sheets and feather duvets.

Floors are covered by spectacular and uneven carpets made with a strong natural grass, woven by the Mbulu’s women community. Also, the glassware is made by the Shanga’s community, one of many sustainable projects that East Africa Camps supports.
