It was my first hostel experience,i didn't knew what to expect from this place but it gave me a lot , things I was not even looking for. I made good friends here, talked a lot with people who were guests as well as people managing the property, Dhananjay (DJ) was managing it at the time and he was there whenever someone needed anything, because of him my stay was much more comfortable. Vibe of this place is sometimes calming and sometimes there are people partying. In 7 days i experienced a lot, this place will match your vibe .. it'll be however you want it to be... Dorms were clean , safe for women who are solo travelling. I'm gonna come here again with my friends or family. It was a great experience for me Posted: 7 months ago

But well i think it was a great decision to stay here. I stayed for 2 nights. Host Rishi and Dhananjay were very helpful and were amazing person, very friendly. It's party every night and talking with everyone is a new experience and Rishi particularly lit up the vibe. He just made every stranger comfortable and kept the bond with everyone. Entire hostel people sit together and have fun. There was bonfire, music, conversations, singing. It was fun. Coming to the property and stay - It is eco friendly, basic amenities but you will get everything- like bathrooms are clean, mosquito nets, high WiFi speed. Kitchen is equipped with everything, you can cook your food too. You don't need AC, nights are cool in the huts. The place is peaceful. I met some cool people here. I will surely comeback again. Great room, great mood. I never felt at home like at Time Travellers hostel, thanks to the staff, the volunteers and the many backpackers staying here. The bonfire is a must every night! Ah, it's right in front of Auroville's main gate.

The atmosphere is amazing, very near to visitor centre of Auroville, best part is budget friendly place for any solo traveller, people are friendly here.

The amazing people! From the volunteers to the others traveller. The place is also very comfortable and close by there are a very good place for juice and good cafe for eating

Loved the vibe, great property and huts are constructed very well.

I Planned for a night, and the vibe here kept me for days, it was so hard to leave the space even after extension. The volunteers were like a family the took me in as I am one of them. The cats and the dogs would love to cuddle with you they are equally hospitable. This is full of art, so if you want to express any art form this place will keep you forever. They also provide several types of healings.

Staff is friendly and helpful, room was clean and the common areas are welcoming and tidy. Location is up the hill from town which was nice. Very calm atmosphere.

Location is amazing, beautiful sunset and nature all around.

I stayed for 3 days at Hosteller Ooty for work, the place was super amazing with a wonderful environment for working professionals, students, solo riders.. I surely recommend people to come at least once.

The Hosteller is a chain of backpacker hostels and is well suited for young backpacking travellers. As a brand, we do not recommend families and do not allow all those below 18 years of age to stay with us, nor do we allow admission of kids or infants under 18 years old, even if travelling with legal guardians.

Guests with local IDs are allowed in this property.

Visitor (Non-resident guests) timings: 10 AM to 8 PM only. In case the guest wants to meet the visitor, they can do so in our waiting area or common spaces. Note, visitors are not allowed inside any of the rooms, at any time.

Drugs/Substance/Alcohol abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs/alcohol during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately and would be blacklisted from staying at our hostels forever.

All our hostels have dedicated smoking areas. Smoking inside the dorms is strictly prohibited.
