May2023: 2: I stopped by this location to get snack food, fuel, and to use the restroom. The outermost building is not inviting. The building appears abandoned once I was inside it. The food selection that I saw inside the area was not very inviting and appeared to be dried up and old in appearance. It was not very appealing to me as a potential consumer of the product. The workers seemed a bit irritated that I asked how the breakfast was sold since it was not on the menu. If it's not posted, how am I supposed to know? I went to the restrooms and they were filthy.

Kristin is an absolute lifesaver. Goes above and beyond to search for and find parts when most would tell you to kick rocks and find it yourself. Very good location.

This truck stop is located at exit 374 right off Interstate 75. Although it's not as big as the 3 located at Exit 369. They do have CBs and CB equipment here though. The customer service was above average if you ask me. The sales clerk called me "darling" when I decided to buy some nachos with cheese. I also some hot dogs and you can even get a hot meal here. I saw some sausages that looked good behind the counter. It's a nice truck stop that has been forgotten about. One important note, there is an 18 wheeler entrance and a car entrance. If you do like I did and not see the sign and take the 18 wheeler entrance, and you are in a pickup or car, you will not be able to find a parking place because they are all for 18 wheelers. So be sure to take the car entrance if you are in a car or pickup.

Good location to stop for a quick break. Stopped with my RV and had no issues. The road noise is not bad and the people are not crazy like other truck stops that I have been to. Pulling out of this location is a little silly as the Main Street has a lot of traffic.

Truck center for all your truck needs

Got there for a simple check up on our truck. There was no one in line ahead of us but it took them nearly 5 hours to even bring us into the shop. The people at the front desk had bad attitudes but other than that it was fine for a truck stop.

In the interest of full disclosure, I'm familiar with TA because a good friend of mine works there, and while this isn't intended to be a negative, or 'bashing' review, there are some things that non-truckers should be aware of. This place caters almost exclusively to truckers, and is actually two separate businesses sandwiched together in the same building: a travel center, and the service center. Unfortunately, the travel center part is not very competitive on their pricing when it comes to typical convenient store items, and offers no rewards program that I'm aware of. Also, their deli is vastly inferior to that of Speedway's (depending on what you like), which is literally just across the street, but to be fair, Speedway doesn't have a service center, and doesn't carry truck-centric accessories. TA's deli does have more traditional hot "comfort food" items like Salisbury steak, meatloaf, and grilled chicken, while Speedway offers hot sandwiches, paninis, and pizzas. On the other hand TA has a service center, and their store has the best selection of truck-centric accessories on Lovell Road. They also have 2 sets of clean restrooms (one with more stalls, and even showers), and they also usually do a better job cleaning and maintaining their restrooms than convenient stores (thanks to having a larger staff). There are bigger and better truck-stops on Watt Road (one of which is also a TA) two exits down the interstate (exit 369), but if they are out of your way, TA is the best option on Lovell Road. For non truckers just needing to make a quick drink/snack/cigarette pit stop, this probably isn't the place you want to go as their prices on regular convenient store items simply are not competitive compared to others. To be fair, typical convenient store customers are welcome, but as a place that caters primarily to truckers, there simply isn't much here to attract them; this is more of a truck-stop than a convenient store (the fact is, it's more of a truck stop that just happens to have a convenient store). But for truckers needing to have their rigs serviced, and purchase travel and truck-centric accessories, it's about the best Lovell Road has to offer.

I was in the area with my jeep club and my CB antenna decided to vacation in the woods long term so I had to replace her. Visited the travel center and they had a great selection of CB accessories, exactly what I needed. The prices were reasonable and the staff was attentive. While there I picked up some ice cream and a coffee.

Ignore the reviews that tell you this is a great travel center with several restaurants. Those reviews are for the TA at exit 369. This TA (exit 374) has some basic food options inside but isn't anything fancy. It's a fine place to stop for diesel.

Hi everyone.  I'm new to the forum . I' m starting a new project on restoration of a 1950 Buick Super Convertible. Unfortunately we have very few of these cars. I will be glad if you can help with advice and recommendations. A couple of photos before shipment to Russia.

Welcome Ivan 76. Be sure to join the Buick Club  of America. There is a lot of good information in the once a month Buick Bugle they put out. There is also a wealth of information to be had on this forum from the Buick members here who are ready  to help with all phases of your restoration of this good looking Special. Another problem, I broke the handle and bracket of the top. Handle  I've found  on ebay but with the bracket problem. Tell me please were i can find it.

Thank You. Unfortunately Top in poor condition. Will have to order a new one. From parts at the moment, need 4 steel original disk and the floor ( plate) on the transmission system and the headlamp rim . I want to clarify, I have lights made in France "AUTEROCHE" this is the original or should we look for others? And I have found two odometer in miles and in kilometers.

Please tell me where is switch to operate the front seat? If possible take a photo please.

Not sure about those European headlamps, I would think factory equipment would be made in USA. My car sports the old General Electric brand but could have been replaced at some point. I have an extra set if need be but they are widely available. As far as the “rim” look at headlamp illustration, are you looking for the headlamp door trim? Also when you talk about disks do you meant wheels, tire rims? If so I have a set from the donor car as well as the tranny hump cover if this is what you need have to check condition since I have not pull carpet yet. You can PM for details. Hope this help
