We came in to book our first holiday together at Barrhead travel down at Cameron Toll! We had a lovely consult with Amy! She gave us the best deals and was so lovely, She put us at ease with ways to pay and that we could go back in any time if we had any questions or needed help with travel insurance etc!

Over the moon with Michelle, Manager at Kinnaird Park, Edinburgh. Yet again she's got me a great price for my regular alternate year trip to Australia. Thank you, as I thought Business class would be out of my budget this time! You keep providing the best service ever. I'd never go anywhere else!

Thorough, professional and friendly

Simon was very thorough, efficient and approachable from our initial enquiry through to booking our cruise. Nothing was too much trouble and he was not pushing us into a decision in any way. It was our first experience booking a holiday through Barrhead Travel but I doubt that it will be our last. I interacted with other members of staff in person and on the phone during our experience and was also impressed. A very positive experience overall.

First class service at Silverburn

Zach was amazing when we visited Silverburn branch in Glasgow. We didn’t know where we wanted to go to but we knew what we wanted re facilities and budget and Zach worked his magic and did just that. He was so patient.

Lindsey at the leigh branch is an amazing travel agent

Lindsey at the leigh branch is an amazing travel agent and so is everyone else who works there .I've always used other different travel agents whom just basically want to rush you into booking once they got your booking they done care . BUT LINDSEY IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT ALWAYS THERE TO HELP ADVISE NO MATTER WHAT YOU NEED SHES ALWAYS THERE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST TRAVEL AGENT IVE DELT WITH ALREADY PEOPLE IVE TOLD HAVE BEEN AND BOOKED DIFFERENT HOLIDAYS WITH THEM

Unbothered staff Glasgow fort branch…

I’d gone into the Glasgow fort branch and told Louise we wanted to go to Laganas, Zante, dates and board basis to celebrate my daughters 18th but when I saw the email I sad she had booked us in a totally different area of the island. I responded and she replied to say to contact the branch next day. I then had numerous calls with Michelle as the TUI systems were down so I was worrying it wouldn’t be changed which really upset my daughter. The day after that I spoke with Christian who found us what I asked for in the first place however not the board basis, instead I had to exceed our original budget, go all inclusive and pay £186 extra!. I told him the girls wouldn’t eat the food but he said this was all he had and wouldn’t help me further despite the budget I had originally. I used to enjoy the experience booking with the travel agent but after this I will book online in future. I’m hoping this holiday will be worth it

Went into the branch in Glenrothes last Wednesday and on Monday we were in Rhodes! The girl that arranged it for us knew what we were looking for (although ended up in Greece instead of thinking we wanted Spain beforehand) and we were no time at all and all has worked out great! 👍

Contacted to organise a holiday for friends. I’m a wheelchair user so checked a lot of the information for me, made sure the hotel and room would be suitable and answered lots of questions. They’ve been great answering and follow up questions in a timely manner

Excellent service from Nicole

Excellent service from Nicole. Very efficient and details of flights were sorted out and completed quickly. I only had to state who I wished to fly with and where I wanted my destination airport. I had to email and response I received was immediate and clear to understand. Only confusion is over why tickets couldn’t be printed on day of booking. Maybe there is some new procedure. But was reassured that printing will take place nearer time of departure. I would heartily recommend Barrhead. In addition the atmosphere in store was light and friendly.

Barrhead Travel Hamilton.

I wouldn't go anywhere else to book a holiday, have used Barrhead Travel (Hamilton Branch) for years. Whenever I need to book a holiday, Pamela in the Hamilton Branch is my go to. She is very informative, really does know her stuff and always finds us a really good deal. Booking with Barrhead travel takes any stress or worry out of booking a holiday as you know everything will go as smoothly as it can. Never had any issues. 5 star customer service.

Barrhead Travel launches modern apprenticeship programme

WARRINGTON-based Barrhead Travel has announced the return of its modern apprenticeship programme.

The well-known travel group will partner with Northern Training to offer young people the opportunity to grow a prosperous career in the UK’s retail travel industry. The qualification will provide young people with the chance to ‘earn while they learn’ with great career prospects at the end of their qualification.

Over 50 positions will be created across the country. The group will release further apprenticeship opportunities for head office positions including roles within marketing, HR and IT.

The 12-month Modern Apprenticeship qualification offers an exciting alternative to classroom style training with on-the-job learning and provides the foundation for a successful career in travel and tourism.

The travel company, which was recently named as Best Agency to Work in the UK, is one of the only groups to offer this type of qualification in the UK which blends formal college learning with workplace experience. It has invested in training for two in-house trainers who will become official assessors for the programme. As well as its partnership with Northern Training, the group will work with Glasgow Clyde College to deliver a consistent programme for its Scottish network.
