Irish Discovery

I thought that some of the tours and stops didn’t allow enough time to enjoy the area or attraction. Would have preferred less rushing in the morning and fewer stops so that we could enjoy the cute towns. Also the tour leader was great but I also wish that there was a get to know you reception on the first day instead of a city tour. We never had a meet & Greet with our guide or fellow travelers. Also think it would be nice to include baggage handling in the costs

I enjoyed the tour, the tour guide and driver were excellent. In future I will look for tours that have more included excursions.

Highlights of Ireland & Scotland

Tour director Fiona and the bus driver Jurgan were terrific. I realize our tour was called Highlights but I felt not enough time was spent at each stop.

Rome, Florence & Venice

This was a dream come true and all of the details were expertly attended to. My only disappointment was the lack of quality in the Italia hotel in Florence and the Gastronomy excursion.

We felt there was too many places and not enough time Plymouth was a waste of time and Cardiff.we didnt see any thing of Fort William or Inverness and as for Hadrians wall what a joke !! Group photos at Anne Hathaway cottage but no time to see cottage or gardens .then dropped off at shakespeares birthplace for shops !! Long way to Culloden not to have time to go into the museum. Too many hours at Blarney on a wet day in the woolen mill. But apart from that Rosemary was fantastic Julian great driver took a while to warm... enjoyed our holiday but not one of our better cosmos experiences.

Scenic Switzerland by Train

This was a fantastic tour! Flo was our tour director and she was fabulous! She saw to everyone 's individual needs and made the tour tailored so that each person enjoyed the experience. The trains were comfortable and provided beautiful, scenic views of Switzerland. Can't thank Flo enough for the care she provided to make our journey enjoyable and trouble & stress free.

Even though the tour was call off because of the virus I still had a great time . Francisco was a amazing tour guide.

Grand Tour of Switzerland

This tour was amazing and I highly recommend. Flo' was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgeable on history and fun facts the entire trip, and not just on the bigger cities. Giovanni was a great driver and nice as well. If you want to see the most of Switzerland possible in one trip, this is the one. If you want to stay put, and don't like being on the go, I would recommend you pick a trip that only sees 2-3 towns. If you want to sleep in and go at your own pace, this is not the trip for you either. The itinerary was great though. The accommodation was good, the included meals were pretty average. The excursions they give you the option to purchase were all good (some better than others), and I did all of them (7 in total for a little under $400). If you don't elect to do an excursion, they will give you recommendations, or just let you do whatever you would like in that town.

The Best of Europe with London

Well planned out tour with most of the popular sites included. Only downside was some of the accommodation was not close to the city centre

The Best of Europe

Overall, had a good time on the tour courtesy of our experienced and friendly tour director Zsolt and highly-skilled driver Antonio. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly, providing many insights into the places we visited and lots of good humour as well. Despite a few unexpected issues during the trip, they worked extremely hard after hours to resolve them and ensure no disruption for the tour group. This was first tour my wife and I have done and we felt it allowed us to see a lot of Europe in a short period of time, with the trade-off being some very early starts and late finishes. To make the most of the tour, to will need to book the optional excursions as probably half the time on location is spent in some form of optional excursion. We found some of the local guides that are required to be used in Italy were not as good at leading the group as the tour director, leading to some confusion at times on the excursions. A few of the hotels felt a bit underwhelming in terms of location, food or broken amenities which could be due to the recent reopening from COVID but given we mostly were exploring throughout the days/evenings, the main issue with this was that some of the breakfasts were a little sparse. Altogether we found the tour quite enjoyable, with highlights for us definitely being Lucerne, Venice and The Isle of Capri. We would consider doing future tours with Cosmos, but given the pace of this tour and the amount of travel involved, we would likely pick shorter regional ones and do a few less of the optional night excursions to allow more time to self-explore.

The tour covered many places of natural beauty but, for me, the emphasis on retail experiences was at the expense of places of historical interest

This tour is great for seeing numerous cities and historical sites in Italy, a one day trip over the border into Lugano, Switzerland was just a true delight and icing on the cake. I have now learned that the Cosmos level is the "budget" label for Globus, so expect mostly 3 star hotels that are located outside of the major cities. This wasn't too much an issue as public transportation (metro/bus) or taxi's are available from each hotels if needed. Some of the hotels have poor air conditioning so if that's a priority for you then consider a Globus level tour instead. Overall, the hotel we clean. We found it difficult to plan our excursions as the itinerary they provide is very vague with regards to the times of the optional excursions, but these were clarified on day one as we asked our tour director and she was able to tell us if we had enough time to do some of things we wanted to do that weren't offered. Expect to get up early as the bus is usually on the road by 7:30 am, but that's necessary to get to the sites before the crowds. As far as the optional excursions go, the first dinner in Rome was a bit of a disappointment as it wasn't in central Rome, the food was mediocre and the service was fair, the highlight was two elderly Italian men playing and singing live music - famous old Italian songs- a lot of us complained about this so maybe Cosmos will change that venue? The other excursions are well worth it, takes the hassle out of dealing with transportation and getting tickets. The ones not to miss are the Tuscan Farm Dinner, Lugano Switzerland Cable Car, Capri, Pompeii. I would recommend this tour for those who don't require a luxury hotel, I am glad we were able to experience it!

Wonderful! First time traveling outside of the US alone. It was a beautiful tour! Henry was amazing! He was full of knowledge and fun facts. The itinerary was awesome and well organized. So happy I went! I made life long friends sling the way! Recommend and will be using this tour again soon! Just book it! You’ll love it!
