No flying cruises departing from UK & Ireland ports are popular now more than ever before. This maybe be due to passengers not wanting the hassle of making their way to and from busy airports or it maybe just a simple fear of flying.

Either way, many cruise lines, including Cunard, P&O Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises, and Carnival Cruise Line offer sailings departing from many UK cruise ports including; Dover, Edinburgh, Greenock, Harwich, Liverpool, Newcastle and Southampton. Smaller cruise ships even depart from ports like Bristol Avonmouth, Tilbury, Portsmouth and Hull.

Another good reason to sail from the UK or Ireland is the baggage restrictions. If you have to fly you are limited to what you can take by annoying weight restrictions, usually 1 suitcase per person with a maximum weight of 25 Kg. Without the need to fly you are free to take as much luggage as you like, within reason!

Age Information

Infants/Children are classified by their age on the day of return from the holiday. Infants are classified as being under 2 years of age i.e. 0-1 year old. Children of the same age should be listed individually, as the child ages is used to count the number of child occupants.

Children will be defined as being 2 years and above. The upper limit will be subject to the hotels own contracted child age policies.

Due to flight restrictions, each infant requires 1 adult for travel.
