We had booked a room with two beds and were continuously only given one. He worked his expert magic each day, going above and beyond his duties to make it happen for us which was not an easy task. Iahfaq speaks English very well and along with his knowledge and love for Kashmir it was magical. He made us feel comfortable and very well taken care of. Our driver Ayub was very nice, but he was on the phone all the time (even on video chat while driving in that crazy traffic). Several times he wondered away and we had to wait until he reappeared not knowing where he was. Kashmir was somewhere I’d wanted to go to for many years and with the best guide, Ishfaq Ahmad Shalla’s help it was amazing!

They made sure we were comfortable , secure, and happy at all times and the information about what we were seeing and doing and general information the country was fantastic. When we have paid for the certain activity , for example cable car ride I should be told well in advance of its unavailability. Not on the day of the ride . 3. As a first time visitor to Srinagar, I am at the total mercy of the tour guide( and he knows this 4. The tour guide must not take advantage of tourists who lack full knowledge. They tend to ask the question’ do you want to do that activity? ‘ or do you really want to see that spot whence you can enjoy the view from this high point ? In effect they are hoping for a favorable response so that that particular activity is overlooked and time saved on his side . 5. When a certain activity is in the program , for example a trip to Saffron Fields you do not circumvent this tour by making a short cut . That is take a look at the field WHILE the car is in motion. It should not be the tourist to demand a hold at the field and walk at one of the fields as per the program. After all we have come for the experience!!! 6. When a certain activity is included in the package I should not be asked to part with money for that activity, it defeats the word ‘package’

It was an awesome tour with Veena World. I would like to take this opportunity to say bid thanks to Veena World for all the arrangements and Jayesh Khot for being with us throughout the trip, being a local guide and taking our responsibility.

It was my first tour with veena world and It was really wonderful.. Jayesh khot our tour manager gave us lot of information about Kashmir and all visited locations.. All hotel stays are also good. Looking forward to travel to our next destination with Veena World.

Very well managed. Tour manager Jayesh took special care of me, being senior citizen. All places included in the itinerary were very beautiful. Hotels, Food everything was comfortable. Places for shopping were also good with all details like Kesar farming, carpet making.

Itinerary (Day Wise)

Srinagar (1 night at house boat).

Tour Guests will arrive at Srinagar Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to hotel. Today we experience a stay at the floating boats, famously known as Kashmiri Houseboats which are designed with the local interiors.

Srinagar – Sonmarg (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Sonmarg – The meadow of gold. It mesmerizes tourists with its natural beauty. Here we visit fishing point- a paradise for fishing enthusiasts, we then walk through Sarbal Village- the last hamlet in Northeastern Kashmir, further we visit Sarva dharma sambhav temple.

Sonmarg – Pahalgam (2 Nights)

Today we proceed to Pahalgam. En-route we visit Kashmiri Cricket Bat Factory. We view the Saffron fields at Pampore. Later we visit Avantipur ruins. Then we take a photo stop at Apple Valley and Walnut Plantations.

Today we enjoy a Walk & Click tour of Betaab valley. Later we spend some time playing in the snow at Chandawari. In the evening we have free time to stroll at the Mall road of Pahalgam.

Pahalgam – Kokernag – Verinag – Srinagar (3 Nights)

Today we proceed to Srinagar, en-route we visit Kokernag Botanical Garden- blessed with rich flora and fauna. Further we proceed to Verinag- the source of Jehlum River. Here we visit verinag spring which was built by Jehangir. Moving forward we also visit Martand Sun Temple- a spectacular shrine dedicated to Surya (the Sun) this temple is known as one of the most elegant structures ever built in India. In the evening we arrive at Srinagar.

• Tea/Coffee at Kokernag, Noodles en-route to Srinagar

Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

Today we enjoy an excursion to Gulmarg - 'Meadow of Flowers'. We enjoy the famous Gondola ride (one of the highest in the world) to the second phase Apharwat point. We later enjoy, play and have fun time in Snow, also one can take up skiing and snowboarding activities (at own cost). After coming back to Srinagar, we have free time for Shopping. In the evening we enjoy a get together with our travel companions. Please note: Gulmarg Gondola Ride tickets are booked online for each individual guest with their name as per Aadhaar. Opening of these online ticket reservation system slots depends on the Jammu & Kashmir Cable Car Corporation's schedule. The booking of these tickets is done only after the Guest's booking and is possible only if the slots are open and if the tickets are available. As the seats are limited for each date and bookings for these are done from all over India once the slots open, these ticket bookings are subject to availability. This situation may result in some guests/groups not getting Gondola tickets for the tour. We will keep trying until the last minute to reserve these tickets. If not, a refund of Rs. 2000/- per person will be given on the tour itself. We will also provide alternative sightseeing without any extra cost to these guests if the tickets are not available. Please note: Gulmarg is situated at a high altitude, which may pose challenges for guests with certain health conditions. If you have pre-existing health issues, we strongly recommend consulting with your doctor before planning your visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Today we enjoy a small Trek to Shankaracharya Hill followed by the iconic Shikara ride at Dal Lake. Later visit Nehru Park and click photographs in colourful Kashmiri outfits (at own cost). Further we enjoy Speed boat ride in Dal Lake. In the evening we visit Kashmiri gardens – Shalimar & Nishat Bagh. (Note: During the Tulip season, we will visit the Tulip Garden, as an additional sightseeing in our itinerary.)

• Kahwa – A Kashmiri Tea at Nehru Park, Chocolates at Shankaracharya hill, Tea/ Coffee at Shalimar Bagh, Popcorn/ Bhutta at Nishat Bagh

Srinagar – Departure

It’s time now to say goodbye to our travel companions. Let’s stay in touch with each other through email, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and meet again on yet another memorable tour. See you all!! Tour Guests will proceed to Srinagar airport as per their schedule flight and start their return journey back home. Tour Concludes. Please Note: All guests must follow the mandatory requirements for travel, such as RT-PCR tests, vaccination certificate, web check-in, self-declaration, e-pass formalities etc. as per the state/country, which are subject to change periodically. Any cost incurred for such requirements should be borne by the guests. For transfers and sightseeing we will use small cars / Tempo Travellers / Mini or big coaches depending on the respective tour group size. In case of small cars there will be 4-6 guests in one car. If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability. Given the current dynamic situation some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing if possible.
