You can never go far wrong with a Premier Inn,this one was no exception! Situated near an industrial estate. It has the usual good standard of Premier Inn bedrooms, complete with free tea and coffee, plus shower gel in a dispenser in the bathroom. There is a pub/restuarant next door where you can pre-order your breakfast, well worth doing. Continental or Full English is on offer. We did have an evening meal in the pub, it was a little busier then but a good meal. Ample car parking too

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak's home broken into by burglars
Sweden and Newcastle striker Alexander Isak is the latest high-profile Premier League star to see his home targeted by organised thieves in a break-in this week.
By Kieren Williams, news reporter
Sunday 7 April 2024 15:32, UK
Burglars have broken into the home of Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.
The Sweden attacker played in his team's 1-0 Premier League win against Fulham on Saturday 6 April.
However, thieves may have targeted his home in Darras Hall, Northumberland, just two days earlier.
Northumbria Police said they received a report of a burglary from a property around 10.05pm on Thursday - but believe the incident took place earlier that day.
They added that a vehicle was taken from the address, but later found abandoned just a few miles away in the Dissington area.
There have been no arrests so far and police are still investigating.
It is not clear whether Isak or any of his family were home at the time.

Which Premier League teams can qualify for the 2024-25 Champions League, Europa, or Conference Leagues?
M ore than half of the Premier League's 20 clubs are within shouting distance of a place in Europe, whether the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, or Conference League.
Those possibilities will dwindle in coming weeks as may the available berths ( Here’s a great primer from the Premier League site ).
The renovation of the UEFA Champions League means that Premier League clubs currently get between four and five berths in the group stage. Opta predicts a 70% chance that Premier League clubs' performances the rest of the way will earn them five spots in the UCL through the league route .
[ MORE: Current Premier League standings ]
That would push sixth and seventh into the Europa League since Liverpool won the League Cup and is destined to finish in the top four, meaning the automatic Europa League group stage berth that comes with winning that trophy will add a UEL spot further down the Premier League table.
That will likely happen again should Manchester City or Manchester United win the FA Cup, while Coventry City or Chelsea could also claim a place in the Europa League by winning their semifinal tie and the final (Man City host Chelsea and Man United travel to Coventry in the semifinals).
Winning the Europa League means an automatic spot in the Champions League group stage, and Liverpool and West Ham are both alive in the quarterfinal rounds of that competition.
And winning the Conference League means a spot in the Europa League group stage, with Aston Villa one of eight teams still alive for that title.
Which Premier League clubs could qualify for the 2024-25 Champions League, Europa League, or Conference Leagues?
Arsenal and Manchester City are set to qualify through likely top-four (or -five) finishes, but can also qualify by winning this season's Champions League. Arsenal begin their quarterfinal with Bayern Munich this week, while City face Real Madrid.
Liverpool will qualify for the Champions League through a top-four (or -five) finish, but could also earn a berth by winning the Europa League. They face Atalanta in the quarterfinals beginning this week.
Tottenham 's only route to Europe is through the league table. Spurs can go to the Champions League by finishing fourth (or fifth). The Europa League or Conference League would await should they drop out of the top four or five.
Aston Villa has two paths to Europe, but only one to the Champions League and that's the league table. Villa can qualify for the Europa League by winning the Conference League, where they begin a quarterfinal tie with Lille this week.
Manchester United still have an outside shot of reaching the UEFA Champions League but seem more likely to go to the Europa League either through the league table or winning the FA Cup. The Red Devils may go to the Conference League if it drops out of the top seven and fail to win the FA Cup.
West Ham United can qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League, and they start a quarterfinal tie with Bayer Leverkusen this week. Failing that, West Ham will need to keep its league footing to reach either the UEL or Conference League.
Newcastle United 's only path to Europe is through the league table. They currently sit eighth, two points off sixth.
Chelsea can still qualify for the Europa League by winning the FA Cup, and could reach Europa or Conference League play through the league table.
Brighton, Wolves, Bournemouth, and Fulham can only qualify for Europe through the league table.
Brentford and Crystal Palace would need almost impossible finishes to reach the Conference League through the league table.
Sheffield United, Burnley, Luton Town, Nottingham Forest, and Everton have been eliminated from contention for Europe.

Newcastle completed a stunning comeback against West Ham in one of the Premier League games of the season.
Harvey Barnes hit a sensational late double for the Magpies to grab a late lead at St James’ Park.
Eddie Howe’s side had trailed 3-1 to the Hammers, with goals from Michail Antonio, Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen.
But Anthony Gordon won a secon penalty for the hosts, which Alexander Isak dispatched for his second of the game.
And then Barnes, introduced as a substitute, produced late drama .

Harvey Barnes came off the bench to fire Newcastle to a remarkable Premier League victory over West Ham as they fought back from two goals down to snatch the points.

Newcastle United 4-3 West Ham United: The visitors led 3-1 with only 13 minutes remaining at St James’ Park but substitute Barnes spearheaded a rousing comeback
Mohammed Kudus was knocked back by a Newcastle ball boy after his cheeky request to use the youngster’s stool for his celebration after West Ham’s goal.
The Ghanaian slammed the Hammers in front on the stroke of half-time at St James’ Park in the lunchtime Premier League kick-off.
And Kudus immediately pointed towards the ball boy, requesting to use his pitchside stool as a prop for his celebration.
The Hammers star struck a fine goal at St James’ Park and immediately asked the ball boy to assist with his signature celebration
Newcastle United vs West Ham United
And breathe! An extraordinary contest at St James' Park comes to an end with the hosts taking a 4-3 victory over West Ham after a seven-goal thriller. Isak put the hosts into the lead after six minutes from the spot following a Coufal foul on Gordon in the box. West Ham responded, though, first levelling through Antonio before Kudus nudged them ahead in the 10th minute of first-half added time. Bowen looked to have put the game beyond Newcastle's reach as he netted three minutes after half-time, but the Magpies would reply in some style. First, Isak reduced the arrears from the spot after Phillips' horrible start to his West Ham career by bringing down Gordon for another penalty, before Barnes equalised following Isak's clever throughball. Howe's men weren't finished though, and neither was Barnes as he picked up the ball from Gordon in the 90th minute before arrowing a superb finish past Fabianski and in to secure the three points, even with Gordon picking up a second yellow in added time. The win moves Newcastle up into eighth, and crucially just a point and a place behind West Ham in seventh. The Magpies will look to ride the wave of this incredible victory when they host Everton on Tuesday, while Moyes will hope his side can respond the same day with a game against rivals Tottenham. That is all we have for you from St James' Park, so thanks for your company and goodbye!
FULL-TIME: NEWCASTLE UNITED 4-3 WEST HAM
Soucek gives away a foul as the seconds continue to tick away. Newcastle are surely just moments away from victory now.
CLOSE! There's an almighty scare for the hosts as a Kudus cross reaches Soucek at the back post. The midfielder tries to chest home from a tight angle, but the Czech Republic international can only divert into the side-netting.
West Ham just can't quite get the ball high enough up the pitch to trouble the hosts at the minute. They need the likes of Bowen and Kudus to step up!
Yellow Card Alexander Isak

Moyes puts on Ings for Coufal as West Ham are forced to go for broke.
