SAFETY Our drivers are professional and licensed drivers and are trained in first aid. Our cars are fitted with roll cage to protect the occupants from being injured in an accident, particularly in the event of a roll-over in the desert which is very rare. Plus there are seat belts for every passenger. We use 4x4 Land Cruisers for our safari. Also from the moment you are in our cars you are insured. MUST DO'S One must get a camera when going to a desert safari in Dubai as the views are breath-taking and awesome. QUAD BIKES/DUNE BUGGIES We offer two types of quad bikes for both adults and children. Larger quad bikes are 350cc and more powerful and smaller ones are 150cc and recommended for children. Quad bikes can be driven in a designated area outside the camp and cannot be taken into the desert for safety reasons.

We lead all our guests in the convoy of cars to the meeting point in the desert from where we will start the sand dune bashing activity. All the cars are driven expertly maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. Anyone who has decided to avoid dune bashing, which is the first activity of the  Dubai Evening Desert Safari , will be dropped off directly at the campsite before heading for the dune bashing in the golden sands zone.

For those that do not intend to participate in the dune bashing with the others, special arrangements are offered such as an attendant at the campsite to look after their needs. These attendants offer special help to the elderly and infants/children.

Seating arrangements are offered promptly; pre-booking of the seats is not allowed. It is purely on a first-come-first-serve basis. The first passengers can occupy any seat that is free and comfortable for them. However, mutual adjustment between the passengers is suggested in case of difficulties for any passenger.

We use spacious 4WD Toyota Land Cruisers with a seating capacity for 6 or 7 passengers to transport you for the  evening desert safari in Dubai  and back. The passengers in one single car can be from different groups. Evening Desert Safari Dubai

Our experienced safari captain will pick you up from your hotel in Dubai at the scheduled time in a 4×4 vehicle to begin your desert adventure. The journey from downtown Dubai takes approximately 45 minutes.

We have carefully curated a list of evening safari activities to ensure a truly memorable experience. Each activity is designed to unfold surprises and create lasting memories.

Dune Bashing in Dubai

Once you reach the desert, the driver will adjust the tire pressure to prepare for the thrilling off-road ride, also called dune bashing.

You will enjoy one of the most thrilling rides of your life with our trained and certified DTCM captain. Dune bashing will be for 25-30 minutes at the red dunes of the Dubai desert.

Once you get free from dune bashing, the driver will stop at any high dune so you can take pictures in the open desert. The photo stop will be a maximum of 10 minutes. 

Camel Ride & Quad Biking

Then he will take you to our desert safari camp in the Al Aweer area. After reaching our campsite, you get the opportunity to enjoy the short trip of camel ride .

You can extend the camel ride time by paying extra. The driver will assist you with the ride and the quad bikes.

Quad bikes are also located outside the camp. Unfortunately, quad biking is not included in our basic package, and you must pay extra.

Your safari captain will wait for you to get free from camel rides and quad bikes. Then he will highlight all the activities included in the evening desert safari with a bbq dinner tour and lead you to your table.

Desert Safari Camp Activites

While entering our desert camp, you are welcomed with Gahwa (Arabic coffee), Gaymat (sweets), and dates. You will have an unlimited soft drinks supply in our evening safari tour. Kandora and Abaya, “Arabian clothes” for men and women, are also available to wear and take pictures.

Enjoy your free time at the desert  c amp by trying different activities. Like Shisha smoking, the Henna painting is only for ladies. Meet the Falcon expert and have pictures with the royal bird.

• Sitorai Mohi Khosa Palace (a palace similar to the stars and the moon) is a suburban residence of the Emir of Bukhara, built in the late XIX - early XX centuries.

After the tour, transfer to the city of Nurata, an excursion program around the city: a visit to an ancient mosque with a holy spring, the ruins of the castle of Alexander the Great.

Then transfer to a yurt camp located in the Kyzylkum desert.

Arrival, accommodation in yurts, free time, evening camel walk in the desert.

Dinner by the fire, musical accompaniment by the songs of Akyn (folk singer).

Night in yurts.

• Gur-Emir Mausoleum - Tamerlane's tomb (14-15 century) - the place where Amir Temur, his sons and grandchildren are buried;
• Registan Square is one of the outstanding examples of urban planning art in Central Asia, which developed in the 17th century and consists of three madrasahs - Ulugbek (1417-1420), Sher-Dor (1619-1636) and Tilla-Kari (1647-1660) .). On it you can "turn over the pages" of the thousands of thousands of stories of Samarkand;
• Bibi Khanum Mosque is the largest in Central Asia and one of the largest in the entire Muslim world. It is on this building that anyone who enters the city gazes at. Huge, majestic, silent ...
• Architectural complex of Shahi-Zinda (11-15th century) is the burial place of royalty and nobles. But the main mausoleum, from where the necropolis begins, is considered the imaginary grave of the cousin of the prophet Muhammad - Kusam Ibn-Abbas. 09:00. Continuation of the tour:

• Ulugbek's Observatory (15th century) - Ulugbek's scientific works were created thanks to the unique observatory that he erected in Samarkand. The main stationary tool was a giant quadrant, placed inside a cylindrical building with a diameter of 48 m (the remains of the foundation, or rather the trenches from it, were found during archaeological research).
• Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel - The Prophet Daniel is revered by three world religions. He is one of the four great Israeli prophets in Judaism, a prophet whose book was included in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible and the prophet of Islamic tradition. Legend has it that Timur moved part of the remains of Daniel, namely his hand, to Samarkand.

Transfer to Tashkent by high-speed train according to the schedule and availability.

09:00. Excursion program in modern Tashkent:

• Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Alisher Navoi;
• Tour of Amir Temur Square: State Museum of the Timurids, Amir Timur Square in the center of which is a monument to the great commander Amir Temur, famous Tashkent chimes and Uzbekistan Hotel (Intourist), Palace of Forums, Broadway - an alley of artists with inexpensive souvenirs for sale, as well as fountains and modern monuments of the capital, Alay Bazaar.

Continuation of the excursion program in Tashkent:

• Independence Square, where: the monuments of Independence and the Happy Mother, the Ezgulik arch (Arch of good and noble aspirations) with ascending storks, a memorial to the Great Patriotic War;
• "Courage" memorial complex is the only architectural and art complex dedicated to the liquidation of the consequences of the Tashkent earthquake of 1966.

“The best chebureks and pilau” Review of White Sun of the Desert

I love this place for chebureks that are crunchy on top and filled with outstanding minced lamb and clear broth. The pillau is the best one, served very fast with tomatoes and cucumbers as a decoration (or a side dish). If you have a chance to be here, try their lamb shashlyk and some desserts.

Today the first german made high class hookah "Nargilem NPS" was taken into service at the Beloye Solntse v Pustiny restaurant in Moscow! Super restaurant with a wide variety of middle eastern food...

By far, the best plov (pilau) in Moscow. And they serve it very fast! Chebureki are excellent, as is lamb shashlyk! Pakhlava is also very good. Reasonable selection of wine. Good shishas, as well. Service is nice. Visit this place if you would like to try Uzbek cuizine. Take chebureki and then plov. Then follow up with tea with chabrets and bakhlava. Alternatively, take lamb cutlets plus tomatto salad and a bottle of wine. Belly dances once in a while in the evening, they add atmosphere, but do not interfere with dining and are really benign.

Ethnic dishes, waitresses dressed in national costumes, belly dancing performance in the evening, nice arranged internal yard with a terrace. and a peacock, who sings! all monitors show the movie - if you have not seen it yet - do it before going!

My favourite restaurant in Moscow! Fabulous Shisha with fresh fruits and food of different cultures. Ask for table 22 and have your Shisha prepared by Khalid...

Loving All Animals offers guests 'An Evening in Paris' at recent fundraiser

In 1953, Patti Page recorded a song titled "(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window?" And today, in 2024, Coachella Valley-based nonprofit Loving All Animals (LAA) has some wonderful doggies for adoption at the 1953 price of just $300. Each of the little four-paws-and-a-tail has been spayed or neutered, has had all their shots, has been examined by a veterinarian and comes to you cuddle-ready — usually with their own sleeping bed, a leash, goodies, a startup of their food and more. All they ask in return is your love and care.

However, unlike 1953, the cost to look after these sweet fur babies is more than $900 from the minute they arrive at the Loving All Animals sanctuary in Coachella until they are nestled in their loving new home. LAA gladly absorbs the gap of $600 per animal in order to feed, care and pay for medical expenses to ensure the new parents adopt a healthy animal.

On April 8, LAA presented "An Evening in Paris," a fundraiser. Once again Barbara Rogers and her husband, Gary Geske, stood up to the plate and opened the doors of their beautiful Palm Desert home to welcome more than 200 friends of Loving All Animals to an afternoon and evening of fun, socializing, dancing and giving back. In addition to sharing their home, the generous couple underwrote the entire event, such is their love of all creatures great and small.

The event's food was created and prepared by Willie Rhine and his staff at Eight4Nine Fine Catering & Events. Entertainment was provided by musical group One Love, a floating girl in a bubble, a solid bronze mannequin man and an artist doing portraits.

Loving All Animals was founded by Lindi Biggi, a long-time animal advocate, and incorporated in 2008 in order to fill a void in the animal welfare community within the Coachella Valley, according to its website. The organization needs help to continue to provide excellent service to displaced animals in need of rescue. Biggi believes that if all the local shelters and rescue organizations could work cooperatively, the animals would be the ultimate beneficiary.

The nonprofit had a huge list of people they wished to thank who have donated and helped. Michael Phipps-Russell, the organization's president and executive director, and the event's emcee, began by thanking the hosts as well as friends of the animal shelter who support and spay and neuter kittens in the east valley.

Because this is kitten season, donations are badly needed. Coachella Animal Network founder Kim Hardee and her business partner David B. Sullivan work closely with LAA to provide low-cost and often free spay and neuter. Another huge thanks went to DeAnn Lubell of Amy's Purpose, who helps with tuition at College of the Desert to educate tomorrow's young people who are interested in a career in animal welfare as part of COD's vet assistance program.

Thanks also went to Christine Madruga, who, after 21 years of managing the Pet Rescue Center, elected to transfer the entire charity to Loving All Animals upon retirement.

Ron Erickson was also thanked for his continued financial support.

Board members on-hand at the event to lend their support included Rogers, secretary; Phipps-Russell, president; Pam Weekly, treasurer; as well as Brianna Miller, Shelley Daily and Marsha Monro.
