Extreme Announce 2023 U.S. Tour With Living Colour, Reveal Two New Songs

The band also revealed two new songs from their forthcoming album

Extreme are hitting the road this summer with Living Colour. The trek kicks off on August 2 at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine and wraps up on August 29 at The Showbox in Seattle, Washington. Additionally, the band revealed the videos for two new songs – “Banshee” and “Rebel” – which can be streamed below now.

Last month, Extreme announced SIX – their first new studio album in over a decade. The record arrives on June 9 via earMUSIC. It is the long awaited follow-up to 2008’s  Saudades de Rock . The band also revealed the video for the album’s lead single “Rise” which was directed by lead guitarist Nuno Bettencourt.

“Musically, it’s aggressive,” says frontman Gary Cherone about album opener “Rise.” “Lyrically, it’s a cautionary tale on the rise and fall of fame. You get seduced into it. Once you’re on top, they’ll rip you apart and tear you down. That’s the nature of the beast.”

In addition to directing the music video for “Rise,” Bettencourt also produced the record.

“When Eddie Van Halen passed, it really hit me,” shares Nuno. “I’m not going to be the one who will take the throne, but I felt some responsibility to keep guitar playing alive. So, you hear a lot of fire on the record.”

New York City natives Living Colour released their last studio album Shade back in 2017.

The Band sounded amazing. The original 3 members, Gary,Nuno,and Pat were as tight as ever. The set list was so deep it was amazing that there were still like 3 songs I would have liked to hear. Crazy thing was I wanted them to do Queen's Hammer to fall, but got We are the champions so I can't really bitch there. Only thing else missing was if the boys would have done a couple of Van Halen III songs. Other then that AMAZING SHOW!! boys were dead on

Gary Cherone cantando demais também, baixo como sempre e o novo batera impressionando. A participação especial do Richie Kotzen na abertura também foi animal.

This concert was amazing. I was quite surprised and happy that such a HUGE crowd showed up to support the group. Nuno never fails to delight with his incredible guitar playing. He was definitely the star of the show!!! Gary's voice was decent tonight as well. He's a great front-man. I could do without the "When I First Kissed You" song. I've hated that since the first time I heard it. It kind of put us to sleep. That was the ONLY bad part of the show...take that one out guys...it sucks. If I wanted to see Frank Sinatra...well, I never would actually.

One other thing...I really hate that people are holding up their cell phones and recording the entire show. STOP AND ENJOY THE SHOW PEOPLE!!!! It makes it hard to see over you. Kind of sad that people are doing that.

The bottom line...Extreme is AWESOME and they are DEFINITELY worth seeing live. I would go see them again and again and again.

The Xtreme Circumnav

The Xtreme Circumnavigation tour is a full day powerboat tour that goes right around the coastline of Antigua.

After passing through the North Sound area, the first stop is Stingray City Marine Park.

There you will spend the normal 45min-1hour long session in the water with the rays & other marine life – it’s a natural reef & sandbank so there are lots of things to see. We continue around the island stopping at Antigua’s largest off-shore deserted island, Green Island, for lunch.

While the crew is setting up, guests can have a wonder around the island, maybe having a swim on the North beach. After lunch, we head south to Nelson’s Dockyard (we don’t get off the boat but Captain points out ALL the historic colonial structures & gives a short talk explaining what they were used for). The 2nd snorkeling session is at the Pillars of Hercules, a FANTASTIC snorkel stop where the limestone boulders enter into the water at the mouth of the Nelson’s Dockyard – base of the Shirley Heights cliff.

The last stop is at the magnificent Rendezvous Bay, a secluded beach on the south side of the island, where you can swim, snorkel or beach comb & enjoy our homemade delicious rum punch .

MONSTA X’s I.M announces 2024 ‘Off The Beat’ world tour

South Korean singer I.M , a member of K-pop boyband MONSTA X , has announced his upcoming 2024 ‘Off The Beat’ world tour, featuring concerts in Asia, the US and Europe.

Today (April 22), I.M announced his massive 2024 ‘Off The Beat’ world tour, which will feature 19 concerts from May to September this year. The tour is named after the singer’s latest mini-album , which same out earlier this month.

The MONSTA X member will kick-off his tour this May with a two-date concert in Seoul, South Korea. Following a one-month break, the singer will bring his tour to Europe from late-July to early-August, with performances in London, Paris, Berlin and more.

Across the rest of August, I.M will tour North American. The concert will feature seven dates in the US, including states such as New York, California and Texas, plus two shows in Canada. In September 2024, the K-pop idol will head to Asia, with three East Asian dates alongside a sole Southeast Asian performance.

The venue and ticketing information for I.M’s 2024 ‘Off The Beat’ world tour have yet to be announced. Keep tabs on this page for the latest updates.

Circus Extreme comes to Cardiff this spring on incredible 2024 UK tour

The circus spectacular features impressive performances, awe-inspiring stunts and more from talented performers

This spring, prepare to be wowed as international touring circus show Circus Extreme returns to Cardiff as part of its incredible 2024 UK world tour.

The vibrant circus extravaganza will be at Cardiff City Stadium for a limited time, from Friday, May 10 to Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Featured acts include the Ayala Troupe performing their award-winning high wire act, which has previously been showcased at the world-famous Monte Carlo circus festival.

Joining them is the EXTREME freestyle motocross team, bringing their jaw-dropping stunts to the big top, as pilots fly through the air displaying cliff-hanger stunts including the 'Superman' and 'nac-nac'. Battling for air space, these resident riders are sure to get the adrenaline pumping as they defy gravity with incredible mid-air backflips.

The stunt riding team will also perform the Globe of Death, an incredible death-defying act which will put the performers under G-force similar to that of a fighter pilot. Watch as they loop vertically and horizontally, all while encased in a mesh sphere - it's certainly one for the petrolheads!

Walking the slack wire is Ukrainian performer Tatiana Kundyk, who previously appeared on Croatia's Got Talent. She'll take to the big top to showcase her mind-blowing balancing skills, performed in a distinctive style for this production.

Meanwhile, Henry the Prince of Clowns - a celebrated figure in the circus - will be keeping the audience amused throughout the show.

British legend Laura Miller will also showcase her internationally-renowned aquatic aerial ring act at the circus, uniting the elements of fire, water and air. Witness her fantastic aerial hoop skills, grace and beauty, combined with visually stunning lights and rousing music to transport viewers into a sci-fi world.

On top of all this, there will be thrilling airborne stunts by the unmissable aerial duo Polischuk - one of the few acts in the world to perform such mid-air stunts. Watch in awe as they hold each other by their teeth, high up in the big top.

Finally, the show will see world record holder and juggler Tony Garcia merge his hand skills with energy and fire, together with a troupe of dancers and musicians - all performing with unique twists.

Zendaya Serves Coquette Prep in an Extreme Cutout Polo Dress

Zendaya must have been tiring of tennis whites and court greens, as she followed up her pink-and-black corset gown with another unexpected offering during her Challengers press tour.

On April 20, the 27-year-old actor arrived at a promo event in a baby-pink custom Jacquemus dress, featuring a preppy cropped polo holding up a low-waisted babydoll skirt by a drawstring. Zendaya kept the rest of the look minimal, with just a few delicate touches. Consider this another W for Z and her longtime stylist Law Roach .

While her LA premiere gown completely broke protocol, Zendaya found some middle ground with her latest look, giving the ultra femme coquette trend a bit of a sporty twist with her her skirt's drawstring bow and soft pink slingbacks. To top it all off, she pulled her honey-blonde blowout back with a Gossip Girl-esque headband affixed with a more standard satin bow.

This is not the only time bows have been featured in one of Zendaya's Challengers looks, of course. Earlier this month, the Euphoria star topped off a custom Thom Browne pleated gown with a large white bow affixed to her braided ponytail. Daring cutouts and exposed abs have also become a recent signature for Zendaya on both the Challengers and Dune: Part Two press tours .

Who else doesn't want this press tour to end? Sadly, there's only a few days left until Challengers hits theaters on Friday, April 26. The film stars Zendaya as a former tennis pro caught between her husband (Mike Faist) and former flame (Josh O’Connor) as the two ex-best friends face off on and off the court. Now that I think about it, Friday can't come soon enough.

Literally no one is doing it like she is.

Missy Elliott's Graves' Disease Caused 'Extreme' Weight Loss: Here's What She's Shared About Her Condition

She was first diagnosed in 2008.

"This is an incredible time in my life as I am experiencing so many milestone 'firsts,'" the 52-year-old told ABC News . "Fans have been asking me to tour forever but I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big, and I had to do it with family."

Missy, who has struggled with Graves' disease for years, is also feeling healthier than ever. Here's everything she's revealed about her condition, including her symptoms and weight loss.

Missy was diagnosed with Graves’ disease in 2008.

Missy first received her diagnosis in 2008, she told People three years later in 2011 . Graves' disease is an immune system disorder that causes the overproduction of thyroid hormones, the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) says. ( Wendy Williams has also been diagnosed with it.)

Symptoms include weight loss (despite having an increased appetite), a rapid or irregular heartbeat, fatigue, shaky hands, and trouble tolerating heat, the NIDDK says.

She lost weight due to the condition.

Missy revealed that she was diagnosed after losing an “extreme” amount of weight in 2008. “It causes hair loss, your eyes bulge,” she told Billboard in 2015 .

Missy’s friend, rapper-dancer Sharaya J, told the publication that Graves' disease "started to change her way of life."

"There were physical changes, extreme headaches, extreme weight loss," she added. "What that does to a person, being a public figure and knowing people are looking, judging? That’s a tough thing."

Missy struggles with tremors and high blood pressure.

In 2011, she also shared that she began having tremors due to her condition. And she nearly got into a car accident because of them. “I couldn't keep the brake down and almost crashed," she said, per CBS News . Missy added that the tremors were so bad at one point that she “couldn't even use a pen."

She's also struggled with high blood pressure, telling Billboard , "My blood pressure was always up from just overworking."

The disease even took her ability to physically write songs, she told Good Morning America last year. "I remember Monica coming to the house one day, and I couldn't even hold a pencil," she said. "She wrote the lyrics out for me…I felt helpless."

She took almost ten years off to recover.

After her diagnosis, Missy stepped out of the spotlight for nearly a decade to focus on her health, returning in 2015 to perform at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show with Katy Perry. Months later, she released her first single in years, "WTF (Where They From)."

Missy later told audiences at Essence’s Black Women in Music event in 2018 that she took some time off since her "nervous system had broken all the way down."

"I didn't come up in here in a wheelchair," she said, per ABC News. "Nobody helped me get up here. I'm walking...by the grace of God."

Missy now manages her Graves’ disease with diet and exercise.

Missy “was on medication for a short while” but has been off it for “some time,” she told ABC News in a 2018 statement. Now, she said, she manages her condition with "diet and exercise." That same year, she detailed some of the dietary switches on IG, including drinking more water and cutting out juices and soda, per Parade .
