Arrive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, Assam. Meet and greet by the tour representative and transfer to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel and freshen up. • Your Assam Meghalaya trip with Tour My India will start from the Guwahati Airport/station (whichever of your choice) in Assam which would be your onward destination.
• As you will land at the airport, our representative will be waiting there to greet you with a warm welcome.
• From the airport, our representative will take you to a pre-booked hotel in Assam to recover from jet lag.
• After getting freshened up and some rest, you will be taken on a pilgrimage tour to Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple and Balaji Temple.

Guwahati to Shillong (Meghalaya) via Umiam Lake

• In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast.
• Followed by this, check-out of the hotel and be ready to commence a 99 km drive to the beautiful hill station of Shillong in Meghalaya. The entire drive would take around 3-4 hours to complete.
• En route, the gorgeous lake of Umiam, also known as Barapani. Barapani is the largest artificial lake in Meghalaya. Whereas, Umiam is known for its picturesque surrounding which includes Sylvan Hills.
• Upon arrival in Shillong, you will be accommodated in a pre-booked hotel in Shillong.

After travelling to several countries and amazing destinations, this was probably the worst of all, all thanks to the tour operator, Bijoy, who himself accepted the same but didn't even try to fix the problems. Starting off with a vehicle that was literally not in driving conditions, along with a driver who was very rude, not answering any questions, and just kept driving without stopping at places we suggested. There were also issues at the properties where we stayed, and we had to solve them by paying extra to the property and taking extra room to accommodate our family. At the end of the trip, when we met him, he said he was sorry and would make sure we would at least get the darshan of Kamakhya Temple, and guess what? We were again scammed because the person who met us at the temple said to visit the main temple, you need to visit in the morning (when we were anyway free and would have visited if informed), and we were taken to the side temples and not the main one. I can keep going on because the problems are too many, but in short, I would not recommend this operator. I shall share a video review of the same in the coming time with the footage of the vehicle to give you an idea so you guys don't have to go through this. Arrival in Guwahati

As soon as you reach the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati or the railway station you will be received by the Swan Tours representative who will further accompany you to the first location in a transfer on a drive that is Shillong that lies among the seven sisters of Northeast. After reaching Shillong that is also known as the Scotland of the East, you will go out on a short visit to the largest artificial lake that is the Umium Lake followed by boating to spend quality time at leisure. Undergo the check-in formalities in the hotel that are pre-booked followed by an overnight stay!

Shillong to Cherrapunji (Excursion)

Enjoy having the early morning breakfast and buck up to go out on an extremely wonderful excursion to the wettest land in the country that is Cherrapunji that is also known as Sohra which receives even ad plentiful downpours throughout the year followed by the elephant waterfalls, nohkalikai falls and Mawsmai cave, and 150 Mtr cave while returning back to Shillong. On arrival at the hotel, stay overnight after having dinner!

Shillong to Mawlynnong

Wake up to the morning breakfast and meet the new day with your departure for the cleanest village in Asia that is Mawlynong. Upon arrival, you will come across the living root bridge that is naturally made with the roots of trees which offers excellent hiking for an hour to its visitors. Later, in the evening return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Shillong to Kaziranga National park

Post waking up to breakfast, you will move out on your next guided transfer to Kaziranga after check-out from the hotel in Shillong. Soon after you reach the land of wildlife, you will check-in the hotel and stay for the night after having dinner!

Wake up to the morning breakfast and get ready t to proceed for catching insights of the wonderful fauna species in Kaziranga on a jeep safari or elephant ride that lets you explore a lot of animals namely, One-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Buffalo, Hog Deer, Swamp deer, red-headed bill and various flora as well. Get back to the hotel and stay overnight after having dinner.

Kaziranga National Park - Dirang

Start the day with the morning breakfast and start with your morning journey to Dirang after checking out from the hotel. En-route cover Tippi that is situated on the banks of the mighty river Jia BHorali at an escalation of 190 m. You will get to explore wonderful orchids in this place which Arunachal Pradesh is especially famous for. You will be going through enchanting falls and sceneries and after reaching the hotel, you will have lunch and check-in the hotel. Watch out the local apple baby room, kiwi ranch, dzong (fort), warm water springtime after lunch followed by an overnight stay!

Dirang - Tawang

After having the morning breakfast, you will carry out a guided drive to Tawang that starts with the check-out from Dirang. On the way stop by to cover the Sela Pass that is situated at an elevation of 13, 700 feet above the sea level followed by other sightseeing spots like, the kiwi garden, warm spring & Jaswant Garh. After completing the check-in formalities take rest in the hotel! In the evening head to the Tawang Monastery and PT Tso lake followed by an overnight stay!

After getting treated to the morning breakfast, you will start with sightseeing in and around Tawang that is one of the most beautiful places in Arunachal Pradesh. Start with the lakes followed by bird watching and also cover the 300-year-old Tawang Monastery that is locally called Gompa. It is the largest in India and the second largest in Asia after the Lhasa in Tibet. Have lunch and go out for some shopping where you will be delighted to count on some of the local items that are special out there followed by the Craft Center and traditional Monpa Village. Stay overnight after dinner!

Tawang to Bomdila

Start the morning breakfast and get along with the day with your drive to the next amazing location in Northeast, bomdila. This place is elevated at a height of 8000 ft followed by the snow-filled peaks and exotic greenery. Soon after having lunch, visit the GontseRabgyaling Monastery from where you get the panoramic views of the sceneries. Stay overnight in the hotel ater checking in at Bomdila!

Bomdila - Bhalukpong

Have the morning breakfast post which you will take a drive to Bhalukpong which is another location famous for sightseeing in Northeast. • Many regions do not have star category hotels. Similar category hotels with the best available room will be provided
• In the region, scarcity of water & electricity is a natural phenomenon. Guests are requested to bear with such problems as may arise during the tour.

Cancellation Policy & Payment Terms

• If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated hereunder.
• Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation
• Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
• Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
• Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.
