I've been reading over a couple of reviews and noticed some users mention using Dream2Travel. What have been some of your experiences with this company? It almost sounds too good to be true.

I did qualify when I initially booked the trip. However, when I tried recently to get my money back, and explained I no longer met their requirements I was told it did not matter! No one was going to check! I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. This month will be 1 yr of trying to get my money back!!!!

My husband and I R going next month as well ... For a 6day 5night we have confirmation and spoke with a rep from D2T .... Hope u have a safe fun trip, ill post info on our experience when we return

Just to confirm,I have never used them before.They do not require you to attend a time share presentation??I was tempted but stayed away. I have attended time share pitches and really hate them.Please clarify and Thanks in advance

Hello DO NOT buy from this company they are very unprofessional and they are discriminating. They need to learn a thing or two about manners and how to properly speak to customers. I do not think that you should only be able to buy this package if you are over 30 and make over a certain amount of money. Well news flash people who actually go to college and graduate are usually below the age of 30. I will be posting on every review when it comes to this company because discriminating against age and wealth is unlawful.

I think they require you to attend a TS presentation.

We are doing it in October at Hacienda Encantada. You do need to do the timeshare presentation.

We have our confirmation in hand..hope it goes well:)) Just want to veg out for a few days before heading down for the tourney...

Well, be very careful and confirm the ACTUAL room type. We booked with them and had a confirmation for a junior suite, but when we arrived at the hotel we had a garden view room with 2 beds. The hotel did their best to accommodate us, and ended up giving us a ocean view room with a balcony. Contacted Dream2travel to get this straightened out but received no reply.

I've used D2T for an upcoming booking the week before the Bisbee at VDP and so far so good. You can't specify room layout or location but you can call the resort and request a configuration or view. They will try but owners get first choice as they should but potential owners usually don't get the worst rooms as those go to exchangers and bonus week users.

BTW we stayed at HE in January and about 2/3 of their studios are 2 bedded(queen) rooms and about 1/3 are rooms that have one king bed. HE is a nice resort but has outrageous food prices ($10 for a preformed frozen burger w/fries) for average or below average bar food.

Jr Suites, aka Studios are usually a glorified hotel room

Valorie B, it might be helpful to readers to know the "grey area" of the contract that was used to threaten you with being thrown out in the street.

Unfortunately there are terms and conditions that the hotel requires us to follow and sometimes the resort notifies us at the last moment that they can not confirm a reservation any longer due to a violation of the terms and conditions. We prefer to notify a client before they leave for their vacation, as oppose to them arriving at the resort and having their vacation ruined. Before leaving you still have a chance to surf the web and find an alternate location to spend your vacation.

We have sent over ten thousand clients to our selected resorts and have received many happy testimonials from both the clients and our resort partners. If a reservation has difficulty during the booking, confirmation or travel process it is due to difficulties with the terms and conditions arising. If the terms and conditions are followed, the entire reservation process is very easy and seamless.

We strive to ensure that everyone has a great vacation at a great price and that the only worries you have when planning your vacation is how much sun screen to bring.

dream2travel, perhaps you can elaborate on the types of terms and conditions that have caused your clients to run afoul of the hotels. That way new clients can avoid these problems.

Sooo...we used this program to visit the Hacienda Encantada in 2012. We enjoyed our stay and did not buy.

We have encountered people who are trying to combine two or three of these vacations together by using other companies to book similar deals, people not being honest about cohabitation/marriage or the most common is people travelling as a group or a large family and trying to book several rooms at the discounted price.

We list the terms and conditions online and before a reservation is processed we do need each client to agree electronically to the terms and conditions in their email summary. This acknowledges that they have read the terms and conditions and that they are reviewed their reservation details.

My question? :))))

Can we use this when we have been 2 years ago?

During this time of the year, the weather is really favorable in many parts of the United States. This is a great time to spend a nice vacation in the West, going to New York , Los Angeles , or Miami .

However, be careful; when you go to visit sites at high altitude, you may run into snow, so be careful and organize yourself well!

A recent study found that 43% of Americans believe their dream vacation is too expensive; here's how to save money on yours.

A recent survey revealed that more than 40% of travelers in the United States cannot afford their dream vacation.

Skift Research polled 1,001 Americans and learned that 43% of them considered their dream vacation as “financially challenging to achieve.”

The survey cited higher costs of travel and general inflation as two contributing factors.

But there are ways to make travel more affordable, despite the rising costs. Here are four steps to take

Set A Budget

When planning a trip, setting and sticking to a budget can help travelers plan track, and control their expenses. A budget increases the likelihood of planning ahead, prioritizing the most important expenses, and avoiding unnecessary ones.

Budgets can also set standards for the vacation. If a person intends to spend $1,000 total between flight and hotel, a $600 flight means their accommodations might need to be changed, or vice versa. Budgeting also helps travelers to make decisions most within their means.

A budget helps to save money by planning travel that is most ideal and affordable for them.

Be Flexible

Being flexible can yield significant savings for travelers. Choosing travel dates based on the most cost-effective time can save hundreds on flights and accommodations.

Another aspect of flexibility involves taking advantage of time-limited travel deals. Keeping an eye out for deals, discounts, and promotions can help travelers save money on various aspects of their trip, such as flights, accommodations, activities, or transportation.

Websites like Going and Costco Travel each share travel deals that don’t last long but are often significantly lower than the typical cost.

Show Loyalty

Signing up for loyalty programs with airlines, hotels, or rental car companies can help travelers save money. Loyalty programs give points or rewards that can be redeemed for free or discounted travel in the future.

Loyalty programs also offer additional perks and benefits, like early check-in or late check-out at hotels; a free checked bag on airlines; and even free food, like breakfast or snacks at some accommodations.

Using loyalty programs can result in significant savings over time.

Try a Destination ‘Dupe’

Destination dupes can be a budget-friendly alternative for travelers looking to experience highly-popular or luxury destinations.
