The J Balvin show scheduled for April 30 th , 2022 at the SAP Center has been postponed and a new date will be announced soon. Ticketholders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored at the new date.

Once new dates are announced a 30-day refund will open for any patrons interested. All refunds should be requested at the original point of purchase. An email relaying the new concert date will be sent to all ticket holders.

J Balvin has released his highly anticipated sixth studio album Jose . Named after the artist’s legal name, Jose comprises Balvin’s most personal effort to date and sees him going more in depth musically than ever.

The new audio-visual album , presented with Dolby Atmos technology exclusively on Apple Music, arrives as J Balvin also officially lands his 31st No.1 at Latin Airplay, tying him for the record of most No.1’s on Latin Airplay in history and cementing him as Latin music’s biggest success story of the decade.

Accompanying the album is a new music video for his single “Si Te Atreves,” starring J. Balvin and reggaeton music duo Zion & Lennox.

Additionally, Balvin also revealed his 2022 North American tour dates in support of the newly released album. The 28-date run of shows kicks off on April 19, 2022 in San Antonio and wraps on June 4 in Puerto Rico.

Along the way, Balvin will hit Seattle, Las Vegas, Miami, New York and DC. Tickets go on sale at 12pm local time on Friday, September 17 and will be available for purchase at jbalvin.com . J Balvin Announces ‘Jose’ Tour Schedule for 2022

El Príncipe del Reggaetón, J Balvin, has announced the schedule for his 2022 José tour. Balvin will travel to 27 cities in seven weeks. The tour starts on April 19 in San Antonio, Texas, and ends on June 4 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

José , which debuted September 10, is Balvin’s fifth solo studio album of his career. He also released 2019’s collaborative album Oasis with Bad Bunny. Balvin worked with Bunny again for José along with other artists like Ozuna, Tokischa, Jhay Cortez, Dua Lipa, Skrillex, and Khalid.

Last night, Balvin performed “In da Getto” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in anticipation of the release of José .

“I can’t wait to see the feedback – the love of the people,” Balvin told Fallon when asked about the release of his newest album. He later taught Fallon how to do the “In Da Getto” TikTok dance.

Balvin will perform music from José during a special concert live on TikTok on September 12 at 6 p.m. ET. He said he loves seeing all the “amazing things” his fans do with his music on the social media platform.

“It feels spontaneous and interactive in a way I haven’t felt with fans in a long time,” he said . “I get inspired when I open up TikTok to see what they’re doing, and it encourages me to find new ways to present my music and keep things fresh!”

On Twitter, Balvin’s fans were counting down the days when they could purchase their tickets for his tour, which will be available for presale on September 13 at 12pm local time.

J Balvin Plots Jose Tour Beginning in Early 2022 

Reggaeton superstar J Balvin announced this week, tucking the announcement just behind the release of a new album. The tour will kick off in April with a show at San Antonio’s AT&T Center, then plotting a course through arenas in April and May before winding up in June.

“Save the date for your city. The Jose Tour will be from another world,” he wrote on Instagram.

J Balvin tour dates were announced following the release of Jose, highlighted on a performance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Jose, named after the artist’s first name, is a 24-track mixtape that adds to his current inventory of established pop-reggaeton, trap and EDM sounds. Balvin taps Skrillex for “In da Getto” and hops on a track with Tokischa for “Perra.”

Jose Tour dates include stops in Las Vegas (Michelob Ultra Arena), Seattle (Climate Pledge Arena), Houston (Toyota Center), Miami (FTX Arena), New York (Barclays Center), amd Montreal (Bell Centre). It wraps with a show on June 4 in San Juan, Puerto Rico at Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

Tickets are on sale to the general public beginning Friday, though presales have already begin for the Jose tour.

J Balvin is a Colombian Reggaeton artist. He has released 6 albums, his last being Energia in 2016. He received breakthrough international success with his single, Mi Gente, and has been buzzing worldwide ever since. His next album, Vibras, is due in 2018.

His original Latin breakthrough came in 2014 with the single “6 AM” featuring Puerto Rican singer Farruko which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. The song, along with the single “Ay Vamos”, bolstered sales of his album La Familia (2014). In 2016, he released Energia, which included the hit singles “Ginza”, “Bobo”, “Safari”, and “Sigo Extranandote”. In June 2017, J Balvin released the single “Mi Gente” featuring Willy William. On 1 August 2017, “Mi Gente” topped the Global Top 50 on Spotify, and later reached 1 billion views on YouTube. The song, and its remix featuring American artist Beyoncé, helped J Balvin achieve international fame. In January 2018, he released the hit single “Machika” featuring Jeon and Anitta.

Though his music is primarily reggaeton, J Balvin has experimented with a variety of musical genres in his work, including electronica, house music, trap, and R&B. His original musical inspirations were rock groups such as Metallica and Nirvana. He has collaborated with artists such as Pharrell, Major Lazer, and Sean Paul. Despite working with many English-speaking artists, J Balvin continues to sing almost exclusively in Spanish, and hopes to introduce Spanish-language music to a global audience. He is also noted for his eclectic and colorful fashion sense.

J Balvin has postponed his long-awaited “Jose” tour, which was scheduled to launch next week in San Antonio, citing Covid-related “unforeseen production challenges.”

The six-week tour was scheduled to cross North America before wrapping in Puerto Rico on June 4; he was also scheduled to appear at the Viva LA Music Festival in Los Angeles on June 25. A quick look at Ticketmaster shows a large number of unsold tickets in many venues on the tour; he also has been involved in a long and complicated feud with Puerto Rican rapper Residente.

Balvin, who recently released two songs with Ed Sheeran, “Sigue” and “Forever My Love,” is renowned for elaborate and eye-popping concert tours like, his 2019 “Arcoiris” tour , which stunned the Coachella audience and then traveled across the world.

Balvin made the announcement on social media Tuesday morning in English and Spanish; both appear below:

J Balvin is rescheduling the entirety of his North American Jose tour, which was set to begin in San Antonio on April 19. The decision to postpone comes a week ahead of its launch as the artist cited Covid-related delays and challenges in production.

“Throughout the past year, we have been working tirelessly to bring you an exciting and immersive ‘Jose’ Tour experience where everyone feels welcome to the party,” Balvin wrote to his fans. “Covid has caused some unforeseen production challenges, and I wouldn’t be able to keep my promise of giving you the absolute best show possible. Because I believe you deserve that, I’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule the tour.”

The 28-date tour was scheduled in support of Balvin’s fifth studio album Jose , shared back in September. He expressed that new dates are in the works with more information to come in the following weeks.

“I’m continuously in awe of all your love and support and I can’t wait to see you on the road where we will celebrate together and keep the good vibes rolling,” he added.

Touring aside, Balvin is still on the up. Most recently, the Colombian singer and rapper teamed up with Ed Sheeren for a pair of collaborations: “Forever My Love” and “Sigue.”

J Balvin Makes 'Difficult' Decision to Postpone Jose Tour Due to 'Unforeseen Production Challenges'

The North American Tour was originally set to kick off on April 19

Fans are going to have to wait a little longer to see J Balvin on tour again.

On Tuesday, Balvin announced he would be postponing his upcoming Jose tour due to production circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a letter to his fans on Instagram, written in English and Spanish, the Colombian star, 36, expressed how sorry he was for the change of plans.

"Throughout the past year, we have been working tirelessly to bring you an exciting and immersive ''Jose' Tour experience where everyone feels welcome to the party," he began the note. "Covid has caused some unforeseen production challenges, and I wouldn't be able to keep my promise of giving you the absolute best show possible. Because I believe you deserve that, I've made the difficult decision to reschedule the tour."

The note continued, "All the details are still being worked through with my incredible team, but we'll be getting you the new dates within the next few weeks and honoring your tickets. I'm continuously in awe of all your love and support and I can't wait to see you on the road where we will celebrate together and keep the good vibes rolling."

PEOPLE has learned the production challenges came to light once Balvin began his tour rehearsals over the last week and it became apparent that parts of the overall set-up and design, as well as the 360 stage, would encounter limitations which would affect the show. The artist then made the decision to delay the run.

The six-week tour was initially scheduled to kick off on April 19 in San Antonio, Texas, and would wrap up in Puerto Rico on June 4. He was also scheduled to appear at Viva! L.A. Music Festival in Los Angeles on June 25, though he has not yet addressed if this would be affected.

Last month, the "Azul" singer collaborated with Ed Sheeran to release a two-song EP, featuring songs " Sigue " and " Forever My Love " — and formed a musical crossover! Turns out, their working together came about after they formed an organic relationship.

"Everything good takes time," Balvin said in a press release at the time. "We had a coffee and spoke about life and there was a dope vibe."

"We bonded over simple things creating a genuine friendship — we even spoke about what it's like to be a dad," the father of one said. Sheeran is also a first-time dad.

Meanwhile, Balvin spoke to PEOPLE earlier this year about his secret to keeping his "high vibrations."

"Meditation, it's the key, it heals how I can balance myself. And the super high vibration, the super low vibration, you've got to be balanced, be patient — and sports, doing exercise. It's key."

Balvin also recently released his single "Niño Soñador," a tribute to his younger self — a boy who dreamed of becoming a singer, yet was unaware of the pressures of fame at the time.

"The things that I've been going through, the only way you can see the light is when you see the dark," he said.

J. Balvín was born José Álvaro Osorio Balvín on the 7th of May 1985. Born and raised in Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia, he debuted as a reggaeton singer in 2009 and has since become one of the country’s biggest musical exports in recent memory.

The young Balvín was surrounded by music from an early age. There was a true melting pot of music that he heard on the radio in his youth, but it was the rap, champeta, bachata, and reggae that truly inspired him later in life. After studying music whenever he could during his schooling, he started writing and producing his own music in 2004 at the age of 19.

He amassed a back catalogue of 100 songs before signing to EMI Colombia in 2009, and his first single, the same years "Ella Me Cautivó”, made as much of a name for himself in the States as it did in his home country. Even from then on it was clear that this was an artist with an appeal that could cross continents.

His first album, “Real” was released the same year as well but it wasn’t until the year after when he became a star in his home country. His second album’s lead single "Ella Me Cautivó" went straight into the Colombian charts at number two and the third single from that album “En Lo Oscuro”, reached number one in 2011.

That year he was nominated for ten awards at the Premios Nuestra Tierra music awards but even then, things were only going to get better. His third album, 2013’s “La Familia”, went four times platinum in Colombia, platinum in Romania and Peru and Gold in Argentina and Venezuela. It was also his first record to chart on the Billboard Heatseekers chart as well.

He rounded off 2014 on an arena tour with Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias and his star continues to rise to this day. Where he goes next will hopefully propel him into the stratosphere, and we should all stick around to see it.

J Balvin is a natural born entertainer, happily playing two hour sets for his headline shows to hundreds of adoring fans. With plenty of street swagger and an abundance of charismatic charm, Balvin knows how to work the room with his largely female fan base who swoon as soon as he approaches the crowd, taking them by the hand encouraging them to dance along. Accompanied by a barrage of scantily-clad female dancers adds to the sexy, sultry and intensified atmosphere. I bought my tickets only to find out it Was just ONLY a DJ playing music. The show was amazing, I totally recommend every one to go if you're into this type of music if not you should go as well. Lately, it’s been a headline rollercoaster for the Colombian pop star J Balvin. From being the subject of the infamous Residente diss track to releasing his major crossover tracks with English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, it seems like he’s being talked about from all angles. But now, citing production-related difficulties, Balvin announced today (April 12) that his JOSE tour has been postponed — merely a week before it was supposed to kick off in San Antonio.

This was supposed to be his biggest U.S. tour to date – in a recent conversation with Remezcla while promoting his latest album, JOSE , he had hinted about a few production details. “[The stage will be] Way bigger than everything that we have done before. My mission was: ‘What would Michael Jackson do if he was still alive?’ That was the mission for the team. I bet you it has to be one of the best tours ever seen on the planet,” Balvin said about the production at the time.

The tour’s postponement comes after a criticized performance at Bogotá’s annual Estereo Picnic Festival , where his set was described as “the poorest show” by the businessman and manager Julio Correal, who’s known for bringing huge acts to Colombia. We’ll see in a “few weeks” what the Colombian star will do.

Vaccination Requirements

Full vaccination show: We are very excited about having J Balvin back on tour. The Jose Tour 2022 promises to be an out of this world tour and the tour has instituted COVID-19 safety protocols to promote the health and safety of all our fans, crew and working personnel. In order to gain entry to the concert venue, all guests will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. People are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19: two weeks or more after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or other vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization), or two weeks or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson/Janssen). Proof of vaccination can be presented in the form of a photo of the vaccine card on a phone or the physical vaccination card. Please continue to check back as the concert date approaches, as this information may change (e.g. based on guidance from public health officials).

Guests with general admission tickets may begin lineup at 8:00AM on the show day. The general admission line will being at the Citizens Tower on the corner of Mulberry St. and Edison Place.

Bags up to 12"x14" are permitted inside Prudential Center. Anything larger, including backpacks, are not permitted, with the exception of childcare or medical bags. Permissible larger bags will be X-rayed. All bags are subject to search by Prudential Center security team members at each point of entry. Bags that do not meet these expectations must be returned to the guest’s vehicle or stored in a Prudential Center supplied locker at the guest’s expense. Lockers are located outside the Ford Tower and Lafayette Street entrances.

OUR MINISTER

Dr. Joseph Lozovyy was born into a Christian family in Elektrostal, Moscow Region, and was raised in a pastor’s home. From the age of fifteen, he began actively participating in the music ministry of the Baptist Church in Mytishchi, where his father served as a pastor, and also played in the orchestra of the Central Moscow Baptist Church. From 1989, he participated in various evangelistic events in different cities of Moscow Region and beyond. From 1989 to 1992, as a member of the choir and orchestra “LOGOS,” he participated in evangelistic and charitable concerts, repeatedly performing on the stages of the Moscow State Conservatory, the Bolshoi Theatre, and other concert halls in Russia and abroad. In 1992, his family moved to the United States. In 2007, after completing a full course of spiritual and academic preparation, Joseph moved to Dallas, Texas, to engage in church ministry. In 2008, he founded the Russian Bible Church to preach to the Russian-speaking population living in Dallas, Texas.

Sure would appreciate someone who has taken "Best of Moscow by high speed train" from St. Petersburg could please share their impressions of this shore excursion. From the description this sounds like a very long day.

Wondering how the 4 hour train trip was in terms of accommodations, etc. Also what time did you leave the ship and what time at night did you return? Were both legs of the trip on the high speed rail (I read that slower trains also travel the same tracks)?

My wife and I are considering this excursion. We thought that if we are making all the effort to go to Russia then how could we pass up going to Moscow, walking in Red Square, seeing St. Basil, etc.

If you are considering this on the 2015 June Baltic cruise on Voyager; my suggestion is don't. There is so much to do in St. Petersburg and although a train is one of my favorite ways to travel the time would be far better spent in St. P.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, this would be on the Voyager during the 2015 season but not yet sure exactly which cruise.

We did the Moscow excursion "on a different luxury line", but from your brief description it sounds very much like the same trip, so I will operate on that assumption. It is a VERY long day! We left the ship at 5:30 AM and returned at 12:30 AM. The highspeed train trip is comfortable, and while they call it "Business Class" it does not compare well to the equivalent class on say Rail Europe. When we did it in 2011, we did have highspeed both ways, and the trip back seemed much longer as the adrenaline and excitement had worn off!:D

Moscow itself is not that terribly different from any other big city in the world, but this Cold War kid never thought he would ever stand in Red Square, never mind walk the grounds of The Kremlin, or tour The Kremlin Palace, or see (but not visit) Lenin's Tomb, or visit The Armoury. But he did, and he loved every minute of it! Yes, it is a long day, and you barely scratch a scratch on the surface, but it is worth it. There is a tremendous amount to see in St. Petersburg, but every Baltic cruise goes to St. Petersburg, so you can go back if you choose to. Not every cruiseline offers you the chance to see Moscow.

I have not personally done this tour, but our last time in St Petersburg, the private guide that we hired for a day was leading the regent tour to Moscow on the high speed train the next day. He said it was way better than the previous alternative, which was flying to Moscow and back. He said that you actually got to Moscow faster because you didn't have to deal with airline checkin etc. it did seem like a very long day to me, and there is so much to see and do in st. Petersburg that I didn't consider doing it.

We toured to Moscow from St. Petersburg via the hi-speed SAPSAN train last September, from a Baltic cruise on the Oceania Marina. You need to have a two-night, three day port call in St. Petersburg to take this tour because the tour typically leaves the ship around 5:00 - 5:30 AM and doesn't return until after midnight the next day. We didn't take the ship's tour; we made private arrangements with TravelAllRussia for three days of touring, the first and third days in St. Petersburg and the second day the tour to Moscow by train. Our cost for the private tour for three days was about the same as what the ship charged for the excursion to Moscow alone. There are a number of private tour agencies that operate in St. Petersburg and offer the Moscow train tours; we would strongly recommend them over the ship's tours.

All three days had private guides with car and driver. The second day, the driver picked us up at the ship and took us to the train, but we were alone on the train, and met in Moscow by the guide on the station platform. After our tour and dinner, we were brought back to the train and after the return train trip met by the driver and taken back to the ship. Because you are alone on the train you must have your own Russian visas.

If this is your first visit to St. Petersburg, I would agree there is much more to see there. We found Moscow somewhat a disappointment, particularly Red Square. The Kremlin and the cathedral in Red Square were also worth seeing. But the best thing we saw was the Moscow subway! I worked for the Washington Metro system back in the 1980s as it grew from 40 to 80 miles and although I was in the computer area, I learned a lot about the challenges of running a subway system. We used the Moscow system to get across the city from where we had dinner to the train station, and I was amazed at the cleanliness', speed of operation, the short headways maintained, and the courtesy of everyone involved. A very impressive experience!

We had been to St. Petersburg before, and so had the time to take a day and go to Moscow. Also, I really like trains, and the SAPSAN is a German train set running on Russian rails. Seats are like first class domestic air, spacious but not too plush or comfortable, but with enough room. Not too much recline, and almost 8 hours on the train in two shots is a lot for an old man. They come through and sell drinks, candy, etc. but the sellers don't speak English and no one around us helped, so we had just poor coffee once coming, and brought stuff with us for the trip back. Not too much to see from the train either, particularly on the return when it is night the whole way.

If you decide to go, take a private tour and avoid the overly expensive ship's tour. I'm glad we did it, but wouldn't bother to repeat the tour; we've seen Moscow.

I did this on Seabourn. IMO DONT. Take Aeroflop (er Aeroflot). The train has non folding seats where you are literally knee to knee with your fellow passenger (facing each other). Further they don't believe in air conditioning. It's also the worlds slowed bullet train. I think I would have found more enjoyment wandering around the St. Petersburg and Moscow airports.

This is a little off topic,, however we had planned a river cruise in Russia but decided we would rather stay on land and have booked about two weeks with Travel-All-Russia using the private guide and driver. I'm curious as to how you found them as a tour company.

The guides they provided were fine. We had a different guide each of the days in St. Petersburg, but both were flexible, pleasant, knowledgeable and spoke English very well, as did the guide in Moscow, incidentally. She was a bit aloof, distant, not too friendly, but otherwise fine. In fact, she was the one who suggested taking the Metro, which unexpectedly became one of the highlights of the Moscow excursion. If I have a complaint with AllTravelRussia, it is with their plan and its execution (more later).

I had requested emphasis on World War II (in Russia, the Great Patriotic War) sites and info. In scheduling us, they weren't careful about dates and a couple of the sites we wanted to see were scheduled on the third day, after we'd been to Moscow. But both sites were closed that day of the week, and that info was readily available, right on web sites describing them. Also, the included meals (lunches in St. Pete, dinner in Moscow) were not what we asked for: light meals with some choices, so we could avoid things we didn't like and choose things we did like. My request was ignored; we were given full Russian meals with a fixed menu, no choice. On the first day, a fish dish was the entre, but I am allergic to fish. Fortunately, I had the e-mail I'd sent with me and showed it to the guide, and she was able to change my entre to chicken, which was very good actually. But we didn't want a 3-4 course lunches or dinner (in Moscow). We had the guide drop the lunch the third day, although we never got any credit or refund. But, particularly in contrast to the ship's tours, the prices were so reasonable we didn't worry too much about it.

The people who were on the ship's tour to Moscow saw us boarding the same train for which they were forced to queue up and wait on the way back, and asked us what we had done. I was candid and open so they were not happy when I explained what we had arranged and particularly what it had cost. Also, when we returned to the ship, we found they had laid on a late supper for those who had gone to Moscow, so up we went and had something. Well, it turns out the late supper was supposed to be just for those on the ship's tour, but we and others on 'independent' tours, there were a dozen or more of us, crashed the party, actually got there first, and they didn't realize it until the larger group arrived and there weren't enough tables/places set. By that time, the 'independents' had all gotten served and were eating; what could they do?

A couple from the larger group sat down with us and asked us about our tour, and they were the ones I told about our arrangement and its cost. They turned to others who’d been with them and announced the details, loudly enough so the whole room heard, which started a lot of bitching and complaining. I gathered they weren't very happy with the ship's tour to begin with, and this was the straw that broke the camel's back. We finished up and beat it out of there, but overheard later that one of the excursion staff came to check on something and ran into a real mess. I caught a cold on the trip, which forced me to bed the second day following in Tallinn, so by the time we reappeared we heard about the contretemps' but apparently no one recalled who started it, thankfully.

Because of what happened to us, I would probably not use AllTravelRussia if I were to go again, or if I did, I would be sure to get confirmation of every detail of the tour. They do have good reviews generally, and we were certainly helped by their visa department and liked the guides and drivers. Their weakness, I say now with full 20:20 hindsight, is that once the sales person who plans the tour, sells it to you and collects your money, he (or she) transfers the plan to their Russia office for implementation; there is no follow-up to make sure it gets done right. And that is where our problems arose; we paid for a custom tour but got a standard package with a few destinations switched, and no one checked them out, even to see when they were open the day we were scheduled to go. If you check every detail that’s important to you, it should be OK, but that’s a hell of a way to have to do business, in my opinion.

Thank you for the 20/20 hindsight observation on your Russian tour operator, and better priced than the ship's excursion cost.

We had the same experience as you so far as price. We originally booked a Viking Cruise but, hearing some things about the river cruises that made us unhappy, looked into other options. T-A-R cost the same or less than a cruise and had us in hotels for 11 days. We opted for the private tour. They have three tour levels, based on hotels. We originally opted for the four star as it did not cost much more than the three star hotels. Finally we decided to throw it all in and upgraded to five star. In Moscow we will be at the newly opened Kempinsky which is two blocks from Red Square. In St. Petersburg it is the Grand Hotel Europe, one of the most vaunted luxury hotels in Russia. Location is important for us as the tours use up only part of the day so being in the center of everything for our independent touring is important. As with many other cities, the less you pay, the farther out of the center of town you are.

We have been working with our salesman in D.C. and he seems to get back to us with the changes we want. He recently returned from Russia so is up on everything. When I asked they said they paid the full TA commission if I wanted so I got my usual TA on board so he is watching our back and giving us that extra level of comfort. He also set up our air, which I know pays him little or nothing, and got us business class for much less than T-A-R wanted for economy, though it took working for a while with a consolidator. He's happy to get his 10 percent on this trip without having booked it. He also took care of the trip insurance. We've been doing a lot of research on the CC sister site Trip Advisor and will write a report there. We will, I guess, become a source of info for CC members after having spent 5 days in Moscow and 6 in SP.
