KORN Announces Dates For 2022 Tour In Support of ‘Requiem’ Album!

2022 is shaping up to be another massive year for KORN ! Following the announcement of their upcoming studio album  Requiem ,  due February 4th via Loma Vista Recordings , the band has revealed dates for a a March 2022 tour produced by Live Nation. Accompanied by very special guests Chevelle and Code Orange , the 19-date arena tour begins on March 4th in Springfield, MO with stops in Greensboro, Providence and Albany before wrapping up in Wichita, KS on April 1st.

Tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale Friday, December 17th at 9AM local time on  Ticketmaster.com . Citi is the official presale credit card of the Korn 2022 Tour. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, December 14th at 12PM local time until Thursday, December 16th at 10PM local time through Citi Entertainment. Korn is also performing four nights with System Of A Down, Helmet and Russian Circles in early 2022 beginning on January 31st in Phoenix followed by a stop in San Diego on February 1st and two sold-out shows in Los Angeles on February 4th and 5th at Banc Of California stadium. Local and venue pre-sales begin Thursday, December 16th from 10AM to 10PM local. Tickets on general sale Friday, December 17th 10AM local time.

Korn’s 2022 Tour announcement arrives on the heels of the lead single from  Requiem , “ Start The Healing ,” which landed with a music video directed by Tim Saccenti (Flying Lotus, Run The Jewels, Depeche Mode).

Everything you need to know about the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Championship

EVANSVILLE, Ind. − Professional golf returns to the Tri-State this week with the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance.

This will be the 11th year Victoria National Golf Club has hosted a professional golf event. Following a change in 2019, it is also the final stop on the KFT with PGA Tour cards on the line. As part of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals, it will also be the final year of the current format with a change coming in 2023.

It is always an exciting four days of golf played by some of the best in the country. Here is what you need to know for this year’s event.

What is at stake?

The Korn Ferry Tour Championship is the third and final event of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals, with a second set of 25 PGA Tour cards being awarded at the conclusion of the tournament.

Eight players have already crossed the threshold the Korn Ferry Tour uses as its fail-safe number for players to finish inside The Finals 25, leaving 17 final available PGA Tour cards this week. The player who finishes No. 1 in the season-long points race earns fully exempt status for the 2022-23 PGA Tour season, as well as a berth for the 2023 Players Championship and an exemption into the 2023 U.S. Open.

The schedule

The tournament will take place Thursday through Sunday with first-round tee times scheduled from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. According to weather.com, temperatures will be in the high 80s or low 90s with clear to partly cloudy skies all week.

Golf Channel will have TV live coverage of every round from 4-7 p.m. ET. It will also be streamed on Peacock. Tickets are available through tourchampulf.com/tickets . All-week general admission tickets are $40. Daily admission is $20.

There are numerous players to keep an eye on with PGA Tour cards at stake.

Defending champion Joseph Bramlett returns with a chance to become the first golfer in the 32 years of the circuit to successfully defend at the Tour Championship. He won at Victoria National last year with a final-round 65 to win by four shots at 20 under. Bramlett earned his PGA Tour card last week via the Finals point list.

He isn’t the only past champion of the event with Jonathan Byrd (2017) also scheduled to compete. Other former notable PGA Tour players include Aaron Baddeley, Bill Haas, Sean O’Hair, Bo Van Pelt and Camilo Villegas. The KFT Finals is a mix of players who finished 26-75th on the Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season points list, 126-200th on the FedEx Cup Playoffs points list, as well as non-members and medical extensions.

While 25 Korn Ferry Tour players already earned their PGA Tour cards through the regular season, a separate points list determines The Finals 25. The player who earns the most points during the three Finals events (excluding those from the regular season) will earn status on the PGA Tour for the 2022-23 season.

Are there any players with local ties this year?

One golfer in the field who will be of major interest is Jeff Overton, a North High School graduate. He has 32 top-10s in nearly 300 career starts on the PGA Tour, including four runner-up finishes. He also earned a spot on the 2010 Ryder Cup team. However, Overton had not played professional golf in over five years due to an epidural abscess after an injection for a herniated disc in his back in 2017, followed by a lengthy recovery.

He made his professional return at the 3M Open in Minneapolis in July but missed the cut. Overton has made one cut in three Korn Ferry Tour events this month.

About Victoria National Golf Club

The Tom Fazio-design is listed as the best private course in Indiana, according to Golfweek . It has also considered one of the toughest stops on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Victoria National was ranked among the top three for six consecutive seasons from 2013-18, and it was the No. 1-ranked toughest course in 2015, 2016, and 2018. A par 72, scores have been lower in recent years after the course previously hosted a Tour event in late April or early July.

The course still remains brutal for those not playing well. The final stretch on the back nine is considered among the toughest closing holes on Tour. Victoria National ranks 47th on Golfweek’s Best Modern Courses 2022 list.

Korn Extend 2022 Tour Dates: Ticket Presale Code & On-Sale Info

Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 1994, Korn have been superstars in the world of heavy metal. Continuing to blast eardrums with their signature sound, this week the band added 2022 North American tour dates to their schedule.

The newly announced summer concerts are set for August and September at large-scale venues across North America. Joining the bill as opening acts will be Evanescence and other artists to be named at a later date. In addition, Korn will do a tour through Europe beginning in May, which includes a number of festival appearances.

Korn all tour dates and tickets, when do korn 2022 tour tickets go on sale and what is the presale code.

For the new dates, the general public on-sale begins as early as April 8. Presales for fan club members and Citi cardholders begin April 5. Ticketmaster, Live Nation, LN Mobile App, and local venues / radio presales will follow. Tickets for the previously announced shows are now on sale. Keep in mind, each date is different and details are subject to change.

‘One Shot Away’: Follow Korn Ferry Tour stars on journey to PGA TOUR card

The Korn Ferry Tour winds its way through several countries and U.S. states, with roughly 150 players seeking 30 PGA TOUR cards.

The 2024 Korn Ferry Tour schedule includes 26 events, hundreds of travel hours, and thousands of decisions to strategize. In the end, a single stroke could be the difference between fulfilling a lifelong dream and waiting until next year.

That’s the Korn Ferry Tour’s dramatic reality, which is depicted on “One Shot Away.”

The series, produced by PGA TOUR Entertainment, goes behind the scenes in capturing the essence of players’ lives inside and outside the ropes, seeking any marginal advantage that could potentially save a stroke throughout the season, which could prove the difference in earning a PGA TOUR card or returning to the Korn Ferry Tour in 2025.

The top 30 finishers on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, finalized after the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance in October, will earn 2025 PGA TOUR membership. That’s the goal, with various ways to get there – it could be a couple of big weeks, or a series of steady showings. If past is prescient, the graduating class will include a mix of promising up-and-comers and wily veterans, looking to follow the lead of Scottie Scheffler (Korn Ferry Tour Class of 2019) and ascend to world No. 1.

Who will hear their name called at the season finale and receive a coveted PGA TOUR card? That’s anyone’s guess, and that’s the Korn Ferry Tour’s beauty.

Here's a capsule look at the 2024 cast of “One Shot Away” and the six Korn Ferry Tour members who are each seeking their first PGA TOUR card for 2025:

• Tim Widing : The Swede attended high school with Ludvig Åberg and looks to join his countryman on TOUR in 2025. Widing is a trick-shot enthusiast who played collegiately at the University of San Francisco and earned his first Korn Ferry Tour title at the LECOM Suncoast Classic in April.
• Fred Biondi : The University of Florida product authored a nifty double in 2023, winning the NCAA Division I men’s golf individual title while also helping the Gators win a team championship. The Brazil native finished No. 2 on the 2023 PGA TOUR University Ranking, behind only Åberg, to earn Korn Ferry Tour membership.
• Ross Steelman : The Missouri native began his college career at the University of Missouri before transferring to Georgia Tech, where he finished No. 4 on the 2023 PGA TOUR University Ranking to earn Korn Ferry Tour membership. Steelman, 23, learned the game at Perche Creek, a hybrid go-kart track/mini golf course and driving range in his hometown of Columbia, Missouri, and his family drove to various junior events across the Midwest in his formative years – a la Scheffler.
• Cooper Dossey : The Texas native played collegiately at Baylor University, where he became the school’s first First Team All-American in 2020, and he spent two years on mini-tours before earning Korn Ferry Tour status via PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry last fall. Dossey, 26, embraces his stutter, stamping his wedges with words that he struggles to say. He also hosts a podcast called “The Stutter Putter.”
• Sam Choi : The gregarious Californian graduated from the University of New Mexico before spending a fifth collegiate season at Pepperdine in 2022-23, finishing No. 11 on the PGA TOUR University Ranking before turning pro. Choi, 23, finished No. 2 on the 2023 PGA TOUR Canada’s season-long Fortinet Cup to earn Korn Ferry Tour membership for this season. Outside of golf, he enjoys pickleball and spikeball.

But luckily, the regarded band hasn’t made its fans wait longer as it announced its upcoming 2022 tour dates, which will also be supported by Chevelle and Code Orange alongside them.

While Korn has also been preparing to release and promote their new studio album, which is set to release on February 4, 2022, the famous metal band will hit the road right after, for their first extended touring of the upcoming year. Korn coming with a new album after 2 years is the real reason that gives everyone chill, as we all wait eagerly for hearing out them. And luckily, It won’t also take much longer we also hear them playing their brand new album live, yay!

The upcoming 2022 tour of Korn will give its start on March 4 in Springfield, Mo. to travel across the country until its wrap-up on April 1 in Wichita, Kan. During their 19-date arena tour, the regarded band also will be accompanied by Chevelle and Code Orange , as well. But what is more, Korn has also signed on to play four nights with System of a Down , Helmet , and Russian Circles in late January or early February.

While Citi has become the official pre-sale credit card for the Korn 2022 Tour, the tickets will be able to be purchased starting on December 17 this Friday, at 9 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster. In addition, Citi card users also are already able to access purchasing presale tickets since December 14, while the pre-sales is closing today on December 16 at 10 p.m. local time. On the other side, the four-night shows of Korn with System of a Down and others’ pre-sales are also starting today on December 16 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time, as the general public on-sale will be following to start on December 17 at 10 a.m. local time.

On the other side, Korn has already released the lead single, titled Start the Healing , of their upcoming album, before the release of its upcoming studio album, titled Requiem , on February 4, 2022. And the regarded band’s new album’s pre-orders have also kicked off already, as well.

Requiem is the upcoming fourteenth studio album of Korn, produced by Chris Collier . The band members have also talked about Requiem on a press release and said:

“It is an album born of time and the ability to create without pressure. Energized by a new creative process free of time constraints, the band was able to do things with Requiem that the past two decades haven’t always afforded them, such as taking additional time to experiment together or diligently recording to analog tape – processes which unearthed newfound sonic dimension and texture in their music.”

2022 Korn Ferry Tour Championship final results: Prize money payout, leaderboard and how much each golfer won

The 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Championship final leaderboard is headed by winner Justin Suh, who earned the big win with the Korn Ferry Tour Finals victory at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Ind.

Suh earned a two-shot win for his first Korn Ferry Tour win, finishing on 21-under 267. Austin Eckroat finished in solo second place, ending up two back of the winner.

Harry Hall and Eric Cole finished in a tie for third place in the final event of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals.

Suh won the $180,000 winner's share of the $1,000,000 purse.

Suh earned 19.1 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win, but he more importantly earned his PGA Tour card for 2022-2023.

This week the cut was made at 2-under 142 or better, with 70 players getting through to the final two rounds.

Korn Announce 2022 US Tour with Chevelle and Code Orange

The three bands head out in March for the stacked tour package

Korn have announced a 2022 US tour with support from Chevelle and Code Orange .

The stacked tour package kicks off on March 4th in Springfield, Missouri, and runs through the end of the month, wrapping up on April 1st in Wichita, Kansas. The trek will hit many Midwestern cities along the way, as well as a few dates in the Northeast.

Tickets go on sale Friday (December 17th) at 9 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster . Citi card members will have access to presale tickets beginning today (December 14th) at noon local time until Thursday (December 16th) at 10 p.m. local time. Fans can also access the pre-sale by using the code BELLS.

In addition to the headlining run, two shows (Phoenix and San Diego) have been added to Korn’s mini-run with System of a Down, Helmet, and Russian Circles. Those dates will precede the previously announced two-night stand in Los Angeles, which was most recently postponed from October due to SOAD singer Serj Tankian’s bout with COVID.

Speaking of COVID, Korn had a rough go of it on their 2021 tour with Staind. Singer Jonathan Davis, guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer and drummer Ray Luzier all contracted the virus at different points on the tour. The band has also been touring without bassist Fieldy, who took a leave of absence from the group after falling back on “bad habits.”

Korn will be out in support of their upcoming album, Requiem , due out February 4th. The band recently released the LP’s lead single, “Start the Healing.”

Code Orange Unleash New Song “Out for Blood”: Stream

Chevelle released the album NIRATIAS earlier this year, while Code Orange recently unveiled a decadent music video for the one-off single “Out for Blood.” Following the spring support slot for Korn, Code Orange will then head on a headlining North American tour of their own .

Korn, Chevelle and Code Orange Announce 2022 North American Tour

Korn will hit the road in 2022 on a North American arena tour with Chevelle and Code Orange

Nu-metal giants Korn have announced their first extensive tour of 2022, headlining a run that features Chevelle and Code Orange as support. The The 19-date tour will set off March 4 in Springfield, Missouri, and take them through arenas across the country before closing out April 1 in Wichita, Kansas. Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public this Friday (Dec. 17) at 9 a.m. local venue time via Ticketmaster. Pre-sales are available for Citi card members, who will have access to purchase presale tickets starting today (Dec. 14) at noon local time until Thursday (Dec. 16) at 10 p.m. local time with Citi Entertainment.

Aside from the headlining shows, Korn will also perform four special concerts with System of a Down, Helmet and Russian Circles in late January, early February. Those stops are set for Phoenix, Arizona; San Diego, California; and Los Angeles, California. Pre-sales start this Thursday (Dec. 16) from 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. local time, and general ticket sales start this Friday (Dec. 17) at 10 a.m. local time.

Korn will be touring in support of their upcoming studio album, “Requiem,” which will arrive Feb. 4 via Loma Vista Records. Korn announce North American tour with Gojira and Spiritbox

Korn will embark on a trek across North America this fall.

Revealed today , the band’s North American tour will kick off on September 12 at Tampa’s MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre, and it’ll conclude on October 27 at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center. Joining Korn as support are Gojira and Spiritbox.

Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (March 29) at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets are live right now here .

Korn will have a special Korn 30th anniversary concert at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium on October 5 with Evanescence, Daron Malakian And Scars On Broadway, Gojira, Spiritbox, and Vended. That show is already sold out.

Korn’s last studio album was 2022’s Requiem , which topped the Hard Rock Albums. Gojira’s last record was 2021’s Fortitude, which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Spiritbox will be plugging their new EP titled The Fear of Fear, which earned the band their first Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance with "Jaded."

Korn have announced a 2022 spring U.S. tour. The trek kicks off on March 4 at JQH Arena in Springfield, MO and wraps up on April 1 at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, KS. Special guests for the run will be Chevelle and Code Orange.

On this tour, Korn are rumored to be playing their seminal platinum album Follow The Leader in full.

Korn Announce 2024 North American Tour With Gojira + Spiritbox

After a day of teasing, Korn have revealed that they'll be hitting the road later this year with Gojira and Spiritbox .

Earlier this year, the band announced a stadium show in Los Angeles to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album . But it appears that was just the beginning of their 2024 plans as the group issued a teaser on social media on Monday (March 25) that something else was on the horizon.

The short video featured a group of silhouetted figures standing on a mountain top watching an avalanche occurring on a neighboring mountain. The brief clip was soundtracked by dark and ominous sounding audio. Was it new music? More tour dates? Or something entirely different?

What Were Korn Teasing?

It's now official. Korn will be hitting the road in September with Gojira and Spiritbox. The tour will kick off Sept. 12 at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, crossing the country before wrapping up in St. Paul, MN at Xcel Energy Center on Oct. 27.

Tickets will be available starting with a Citi presale (details below) and artist presale beginning Tuesday, March 26. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on sale beginning Friday, March 29 at 10AM local time at ticketmaster.com . What Else Is On Korn's 2024 Schedule?

As previously stated, Korn have booked Los Angeles' BMO Stadium for Saturday, Oct. 5, with plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album. This stadium show is a jam-packed day filled with sets from Evanescence, Gojira, Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway, Spiritbox and Vended all playing before the headliners.

The band is also scheduled to play the Louder Than Life Festival in September and they have a summer tour of the U.K. and Europe booked as well .
