Availability

The tour is available Monday to Sunday and must be booked at 11.00, 11.30, 12.00 or 12.30 with lunch to follow. All bookings are subject to availability.

Kindly note, tours do not take place on home match days or the day before a home European game. Tours and contents may sometimes be subject to late changes or cancellations.

We recommend you book at least two weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The stadium tours last approximately 1 hour 10 minutes and it is recommended you allow an additional 1 hour to enjoy your meal and 1 hour to visit the museum. You are able to visit the museum at your leisure before or after the tour. Please ensure you arrive for your tour in plenty of time. If your stadium tours booked after 15.00 you will need to view the Museum prior to the Tour.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

The tour was average compared to other stadium tours. I had the lunch package with my tour. You have to choose your meal from a smaller menu than everybody else because you’ve booked through virgin and it’s very limited, a drink is included with the meal but you can’t even have proper orange juice because that’s not included you have to have squash. Wouldn’t book an experience again if just book through the event itself

Indiana diner provides pre-paid meal tickets for those facing financial hardship

DILLSBORO, Ind. (WXIX) - A small-town family-owned diner is “paying it forward” with pre-paid meal tickets for those struggling financially or hungry.

Receipts of pre-paid orders line a wall at Janet’s Diner, one of two restaurants in the Town of Dillsboro, Indiana.

This is where people who face economic hardship do not have to worry about covering the bill and can get a home-style meal for free, thanks to the local business.

“I don’t know Janet personally but I do frequent her establishment and will definitely contribute to her kind act,” said Robin Ramsey, a regular at the diner. “I think we can all use many more Janet’s and I intend to follow her act of kindness and pay it forward myself.”

Ramsey, who says she has only been familiar with the Dillsboro area for a little over a year, tells FOX19 NOW that there is a poverty issue, especially in Indiana.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau , 10.6% of Dearborn County was below the poverty line in July 2023 with the average income being $36,005 per resident between 2018 and 2022.

Additionally, Indiana, home to 6.8 million Hoosiers, had 12.6% of its population below the poverty threshold, while the U.S. rate was 11.5% in July 2023.

“I think Janet’s kind heart and her employees deserve recognition and just maybe others would consider [following] in her selfless kindness,” Ramsey told FOX19 NOW.

Hundreds of people on Facebook were also moved by the restaurant’s gesture to help those in need.

“Will definitely do it next time thru. Such a good idea. There are so many out of work, and senior citizens who can’t afford a decent meal. Small towns take care of their own. Great job my friends,” said one comment.

An employee at the restaurant says Charlie Caldwell, Janet’s son, is currently running the diner, and will soon take ownership as his mother is about to retire.

USDA updates rules for school meals that limit added sugars for the first time

(AP) - The nation’s school meals will get a makeover under new nutrition standards that limit added sugars for the first time, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Wednesday.

The final rule also trims sodium in kids’ meals, although not by the 30% first proposed in 2023. And it continues to allow flavored milks — such as chocolate milk — with less sugar, rather than adopting an option that would have offered only unflavored milk to the youngest kids.

The aim is to improve nutrition and align with U.S. dietary guidelines in the program that provides breakfasts to more than 15 million students and lunches to nearly 30 million students every day at a cost of about $22.6 billion per year.

“All of this is designed to ensure that students have quality meals and that we meet parents’ expectations,” Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack told reporters.

The limits on added sugars would be required in the 2025-2026 school year, starting with high-sugar foods such as cereal, yogurt and flavored milk. By the fall of 2027, added sugars in school meals would be limited to no more than 10% of the total calories per week for breakfasts and lunches, in addition to limits on sugar in specific products.

Officials had proposed to reduce sodium in school meals by as much as 30% over the next several years. But after receiving mixed public comments and a directive from Congress included in the fiscal year 2024 appropriations bill approved in March, the agency will reduce sodium levels allowed in breakfasts by 10% and in lunches by 15% by the 2027-2028 school year.

Bayern Munich are in talks with Ralf Rangnick to replace Thomas Tuchel as head coach this summer , according to reports in Germany .

Bayern have already been dealt two setbacks in their efforts to find a successor for Tuchel with Xabi Alonso vowing to stay at Bayer Leverkusen for at least another season , while last week, Julian Nagelsmann extended his contract with Germany’s national team .

Zinedine Zidane, who has not managed a team since leaving Real Madrid in May 2021, has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern but over the weekend, the German club distanced themselves from a move for the 51-year-old.

According to Sky Germany , Rangnick and Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi are on Bayern’s shortlist and the German club have already held negotiations with the former Manchester United interim manager.

The report claims that talks with Rangnick, which were held before Nagelsmann turned down a return to Bayern, were ‘positive’, while the 65-year-old is said to be ‘open’ to a return to the Bundesliga.

Rangnick already has vast experience of managing in the German top flight with Stuttgart, Hannover 96, Schalke, Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig.

He is currently head coach of Austria’s national team and is set to lead his side during their Euro 2024 campaign this summer.

When asked earlier this month if he had spoken to Bayern, Rangnick said: ‘No. Why should I?

‘I feel comfortable here. I still have a contract until 2026 and our goal and our path will continue after the Euros.’

Bayern, meanwhile, have also considered U-turning on their decision to let Tuchel leave at the end of the season.

‘The decision was made beforehand. But it was made together. That’s why we don’t need to discuss it. I really enjoy working with Thomas,’ said Bayern’s director Max Eberl at the weekend.

After the tour, you can visit the Manchester United Museum.  You’ll learn the story of Manchester United from its lowly beginnings as a local railway team called Newton Heath LYR in 1878.

Follow the early troubles to become established in the football league, the inter-war years, and the rebuilding of the ground and club after the Second World War.

The Matt Busby era followed with the building of the Busby Babes team, then the tragedy of Munich. There followed another rebuilding by Sir Matt Busby and the introduction of great stars like Dennis Law, Bobby Charlton, and of course George Best. Manchester United’s first great European Cup win in 1968 was the climax to this era.

Then through the twenty-six-year history of United’s latest legend Sir Alex Ferguson.

Learn how he created a long line of Premier League-winning teams, and the introduction of such stars as Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

• Minimum age: 16 (under 18’s need parental or guardian consent)
• For one adult (over 16) and one child (under 16)
• Wheelchair access and disabled facilities are available

How long should I allow for this experience?

The stadium tours last approximately 1 hour 10 minutes and it is recommended you allow an additional hour to visit the museum. You are able to visit the museum at your leisure before or after the tour. Please ensure you arrive for your tour in plenty of time. If your stadium tours booked after 15.00 you will need to view the Museum prior to the Tour.

Additional information

Please take your voucher with you on the day. Once you have booked a time and date for your tour you will be sent a confirmation letter. Kindly present both your voucher and letter to the ground floor reception desk on entering the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand. Tours leave promptly from level 1 inside the museum.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

Finally got the chance to make a tour of my beloved reds and what can I say... an incredible day. Our guide was extremely friendly and happy to answer my questions. Really impressive to see the stadium immaculate and empty - awe inspiring! Loved entering through the players tunnel to the sound of an excited home crowd... recording of course but still an amazing experience!
