It is a very nice, modern, very clean restaurant/coffee shop with very well trained polite professional waiters and a “real gentleman” Manager. I just have had a coffee on the way to visit a friend. The coffee was tasty. The Menu Card contains warm dishes,... Shakes, sweets as well with photos. Prices are not very cheap, but the quality costs money. $$. For foreigners are the prices very reasonable. The venue is located on the Shera Haram / Pyramid Road. Even a Shopping Mall is near, on the other side of the street. More

Today we were at the Safari 2000 restaurant in Giza and we were very impressed with the service. The world's largest hotels such as Hilton, IHG and Marriott should follow the example of guest service ceremonies. The soups are world-class, the main courses are delicious,... the Turkish coffee is amazing, and the desserts are unique. Service topnotch, large menu - something for everyone, good food beautifully presented, prices reasonable, and the best mango smoothie I've ever had. We were staying at a nearby hotel within walking distance but it is also easily accessible by car. You won't be disappointed!

Me and my wife arrived at the restaurant and was not greeted at all by a waiter named Seth. He seated us and we waited for him to come back to take our order but he never did. After waiting 20min I requested to speak... to a manager. The manager whose name is Himer witness the entire experience. We advised him what our complaints were but he eventually walked away. He indicated he did not understand English. I would advise any Nubian person not to patronize this business. There are other great restaurants to eat at in Cario. Please spend your money with people who care how they treat you. More

Went for a spontaneous dinner with four children. A very stylish interior, would we fit in with unruly Scottish children? Oh yes we did!! So much so, we did not want to leave. Excellent, friendly service, food to die for and a happy atmosphere all... around. We visited Safary 2000 at the beginning and the end of our Egypt tour for an evening meal the location is convenient to our Hotel Barcelo. The group comprised of 11 including our Intrepid Tour Leader. The food here is incredible; high quality, reasonably priced and delicious! Mohamed, our waiter was great and made us feel really welcomed. His recommendations were 10/10, especially with the mixed grill. He also brought us a complementary ice cream cake at the end of our... meal which was genuinely the best cake ever. This restaurant is a hundred or so meters west from the Barcelo Pyramids Hotel. It has an extensive varied menu the staff are welcoming and the price isn’t bad. I would recommend anyone to have a meal here.

First time eating at the Safari Cafe. My husband and toddler was passing by after feeding the giraffes and decided to give them a try since there was literally no one at the zoo. It was 3pm, 1 hour before zoo closing we went into the Safari Cafe, it was clean, a bit dim, it gave rainforest vibes with natural light entering from the ceiling. There were different areas and many options. I ordered the cheese burger which came with fries, my husband wanted lasagna and for dessert we ordered a chocolate cheesecake. Everything was served and given to us at the time or ordering. Seems like the things we ordered were premade/store bought/frozen nothing was fresh/made to order. Which was quite disappointing to see at first glance. The burger meat was pretty good but the bun was too thick, cold and dry I ended up eating the burger without the bun would have been nice it they toasted. The fries were warm but had too much salt. The lasagna was literally a slice for $16 and it tasted frozen the chocolate pie was a small slice for little over $7. The canned drinks were about $5 each. The workers that served us was very kind. They comped our lasagna which was generous of them because if I have know the size for the price we probably wouldn't have ordered it in the first place. We are members so we also got 10% off our order. Plenty of seating overseeing the Safari which was quite relaxing. Overall, I thought service was great but food wise it was over priced for mediocre food. Glad to have tried it after coming to the zoo so often I've been so curious to try but probably not going to buy again.

I only tried the burger and fries. For $14, the burger was a bit small. The beef seemed to be pretty good quality. The fries were under done. The setting overlooking the savannah was nice. Can't say overall I'd get lunch here again though.

Cheeseburger and fries

What a surprise, the zoo was already amazing and the cafe just took it to another level. The burger, pizza and Mac and cheese all tasted great! Great portions and everything tasted hot and fresh. Everything was so clean inside and the views outside were amazing.

Great view and location! Serve yourself, short lines cause the food is premade. $17 for a burger or fries, Mac & cheese is $11 and slightly warm. Atmosphere is great food is blah

We decided to go to the zoo to have lunch and ended up making it a full day of adventure... We stopped here and ordered the cheeseburger and grilled chicken sandwich meals that came with fries... It looked nice the way it was set up but it was plain and dry with only tomatoes and lettuce. There was no condiments‍ The view was beautiful and there was lots of people as I exprected. The grounds were very clean. This place is a good place to visit but the staff is not very friendly and you must ask if you want any sauce when it is ur turn to get ur order. Happy Sunday!

What a nice view!

We went on Sunday and it was decent amount of people there. The orders are handle by mobile order and on the order window. For people that come here often the mobile order seems the best thing to do. Because you can schedule your order for when you are free to eat and not eat your food cold. We ordered just a snack. We got the garlic fries. I really liked them. They had plenty of garlic (only for garlic lovers) :) they had some Parmesan cheese and it gave a good flavor. My daughter got the burger with fries. The meat looked very juicy and soft but well done. She said she like to get that every time she goes there. The process of the order took decent time to be ready. They have more thing in the menu. They have hot dogs, corn dogs, sandwiches and salads. It has good variety. The place is well ventilated, we were having a good breeze on a hot summer Sunday. Definitely coming back.

Top notch service, beautiful (one of the best looking / vibe places in the city). Fresno can be an ugly place but the Zoo Safari Cafe is bright spot! Food is decent and there's beer and wine. Obviously pricey since we're in a Zoo and pretty much Fresno's only tourist attraction --but not insane.

This review is long overdue as I went to this cafe a year ago around May 2018. I am always apprehensive about dining at restaurants with animals knowingly present as I just imagine the germs and contamination would be greater in my mind. However, I decided to give this place a shot as it seriously got very good reviews on yelp so it nice to give this place a shot. Upon entering it is like a buffet style cook to like order. They gave menus of the options in the Restaurant. On this particular day I was craving tacos and the only option they had was the fish tacos. I ordered two of the finish tacos and they were pretty good but one made me full at the time. I remember the person I went to the zoo with ordered a burger and fries and appeared to like it. I unfortunately didn't try it as it was beef. They sell alcohol inside the cafe which was either wine or beer. Which was nice. When we got our food it was nice to eat it outside and watch the animals. Very cool experience! I am looking forward to coming back and trying new food options and of course seeing my lovely giraffes! I would definitely recommend to at least try it once. I was a happy camper!

Fish tacos, burger and fries.

It's still a great location in a world class zoo. The food was great back before Covid 19, they have changed so much that they haven't been able to adapt and overcome while still providing quality product. We love the zoo so it's been four times we got bad food before we decided to update the review and still with great hesitation. It was so convenient to have a great restaurant in a clean beautiful setting at the zoo, that is unfortunately no longer the case.

The zoo is world class and the restaurant is clean and comfortable . Obviously the scenery is amazing. We got to see a baby rhinoceros, and many other awesome zoo animals while eating our lunch. It's very reasonably priced . Seating is OK not terribly comfortable but not really uncomfortable either just OK. The food is much better than average. The black bean veggie burger is especially good.

My partner & I love the fish tacos here !!! I also love how clean and precautious the zoo/cafe has been ever since this pandemic arose !
