For someone who loves animals and feels a different kind of happiness when surrounded by them, Lahore Safari definitely is the go-to place for them. What could be more exhilarating than witnessing the wild animals so closely? Therefore, we decided to paint a virtual picture of the Lahore Wild Life Park(more commonly known as the Safari Park). Far from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Safari Park has been the center of attention of hundreds of wildlife lovers who want to experience the touch of adventure. It is ideally situated in a sparsely populated area near Rawind Road Lahore. The species housed here include Indian peafowl, Bengal tiger, common pheasant, emu, lion, mute swan, nilgai, ostrich, and silver pheasant among a few others. This place is a great space for kids to get familiar with different animal species.

Areas at Safari Park

Just beside the entrance, there is a small net enclosure, where freely roaming, beautiful peacocks, some spreading their feathers while others flying and playing, ducks and a variety of other wild birds are a source of great pleasure both for kids and grownups. Interestingly, visitors are allowed to go inside the hut and admire the beauty of nature at close quarters. The area has been neatly organized as per the need of these wild beauties. Just across the birds' zone, there is the real adventure zone of the park — the lions' and tigers' region. Enclosed by a solid iron fence, this particular area has plants that have an ambiance of a typical African forest and inside it lives the king of the jungle. It is home to lions and white tigers. With an aura of power and terror, these mighty animals can be seen roaming and roaring around arrogantly. Sitting in cars (with car windows closed tightly), tourists can have a round of the forest. It's a bit scary but truly adventurous! However, at the same time, it feels thoroughly daring and exciting. A few meters ahead there's a play area for kids with swings, a deer zone, and a very fresh calm little pond to stop over at. Boating and fishing facilities have been developed nearby as well.

If you have never been to Africa, you can get a feel of what it would be like to take a safari there once you visit this park with its well-kept ground and a wide variety of animal life. The thrilling experience of watching nature's magnificent creation so closely will absolutely submerge you in gratitude and praise for God.

Established in 1972, the Lahore Safari Park is one of the centers of wildlife in the otherwise bustling city. Spread over a huge area, this park has many attractions such as Indian peafowl, Bengal tiger, common pheasant, emu, lion, mute swan, nilgai, ostrich and silver pheasant among a few others. A favorite one with the kids, this park offers them opportunities for boating and other activities. The park boasts of a huge lake which is the biggest in the city, complete with four islands. Marriyum inaugurates Lion Safari at Lahore Zoo

Senior provincial minister says cm punjab will soon announce an eco-tourism plan for changa manga forest and wildlife park.

LAHORE   -   Senior Provincial Minister Mar­riyum Aurangzeb inaugurated Lion Safari at Lahore Safari Zoo on Saturday. While announc­ing free entry to the safari park on Eid day, on the direction of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, she disclosed that the free facil­ity would be allowed to 60-plus people even after Eid. Mean­while, huts meant for the night safari will soon be opened to the public to fully enjoy the facility.

The senior minister inspected different sections including salt range, deer & bird safaris, and undiyal safari in the e-safari cart. She provided a timeline of three months for the establishment of the veterinary complex, bird hatcheries, information boards’ installation, systemisation of electric carts, fixing of speed limit boards on pathways, foun­tains, artificial moulds, water ponds’ construction and making the environment dust-free for the visitors. She stated that two more veterinary doctors would be immediately hired for the health of animals, while sepa­rate vet doctors would be hired for different animals. She also instructed for the arrangement of accommodations for safari park staff, ensuring the health of animals and their regular medi­cal treatment. She mentioned sending wildlife staff to learn the latest technological interven­tions to vetline center in Hong Kong, the Chinese panda zoo and other countries. The provincial government is developing a sa­fari park application while intro­ducing an international bidding system for swings. She further stated that three elephants are being imported from Zimbabwe for the safari park, for which four vet doctors would be appointed. Safari Park Wildlife Center will be making a world-class safari in three months; she said and added that the CM Punjab will soon announce an eco-tourism plan for Changa Manga Forest & Wildlife Park.

Alongside this, Chief Minis­ter Maryam Nawaz Sharif has brought the best systems on an urgent basis for solid waste man­agement. CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif is monitoring hoarding issues and price control mecha­nisms, which has led to a reduc­tion in prices. As there are some deep connections between hu­mans and animals, hence emer­gency centers will also be estab­lished along with wildlife centers, concluded the senior minister.

The bamboo jungle according to proverbs of various saints is a source to comfort the tortured body and soul to peace and calm. We provide all this with guaranteed security. We have rooted out Thara culture from the Park. We have negated the use of foul and filthy language in the park. Families and females are safe from cheap street behavior. Lahore Wildlife Park is one of the Biggest Parks In Pakistan , and It is situated on Raiwind Road Lahore which is just 15Km away from Thokar Canal Bridge. Lahore Wildlife Park is also called Woodland Wildlife Park. It was established in 1982 and it covers the area of 242 acres.

This Park does not only have Wildlife but it also facilitates its visitors with an option of Boating and Fishing. There is a separate play area for children. The whole park is covered with lush green grass. This park is an ideal place for the families to enjoy in a refreshing environment. There is also a food corner which serves delicious food to their visitors. The species that are present in Lahore Wildlife Park includes Bengal tiger, Indian peafowl, common pheasant, emu, lion, mute swan, nilgai, ostrich and silver pheasant among a few others.  This park also has the biggest lake in the country covering four islands. Pedal Boating and Fishing facilities are provided near this lake. It also has safari tracks in the area of lions and Bengal tigers.

Park has a separate Birds area which has different types of birds enclosed in a huge net. People of every age enjoy watching different types of birds just in front of eyes; these beautiful birds are really eye-catching. Parrots, Peacocks, Ducks, Pigeons, Sparrows, Pheasants, Amazon Parrot and Macaw Parrots are some of the species that are present in the Birds area. The area where lions and tigers are placed in the Park is specially managed by the management. They are enclosed inside of large fences and boundaries. The atmosphere of Lahore Wildlife Park is really peaceful.
