Roger was really great, knew a lot about the region and sites we visited. We visited the warriors and qinghua palace as some of the other sites we had already seen. Customisation was no issue at all. Also travelled with a person with mobility issues and Roger was very helpful with navigating and assisting would definitely recommend.

It was amazing experience! Our guide Lily was great! She provided us with detailed information on ancient and modern history of Xi’an and recommended and helped us to arrange a visit to an evening show of Chinese ballet after the tour. Highly recommend, it costs the money you spend.

I had so much fun in my short visit to Chengdu. Emily, my guide, is a very nice and friendly guide, with a lot of experience and knowledge, goos English, providing a great personal experience. It felt like hanging out with an old friend. I didn't expect such warm companion in my solo trip. I really appreciate her First day, half day experience. Arrived at the airport, she picked me up, drove me to hotel, helped with check in. Seamless. We then had lunch at local hotpot. Accommodated my request for spicy exotic food. Ate pork brain and duck intestine. Amazing Second day, the main day, full day experience. Went to panda center, showing me good spots to get panda videos. She treated me to more authentic spicy Sichuan foods. Visited fascinating museum. Went to other local spots like wide & narrow roads and People's Park. Chilling at local tea house, checking out matchmaking corners. At night she got me ticket to Sichuan Opera

Before visiting, we had little knowledge of Chengdu and didn't know what to expect. Our experience surpassed all expectations! The highlight was undoubtedly seeing the adorable pandas, and we were thrilled to discover what red pandas are. The city itself was a revelation, especially the narrow alley district which radiates charm and authenticity. A visit to the Jinsha Museum enriched our knowledge, unveiling pre-dynasty histories we were previously unaware of. Our guide Leila, introduced us to the unique culture of Chengdu and navigated us to the best local dining spots!

Our guide, Sugar, and the driver met us at the train station and helped us with our bags to the car. She was kind enough to give us a history lesson on Chengdu during the ride to the hotel. She assured that our checkin at the Hampton Inn downtown went smoothly. We were pleased with the quality of the hotel and the room. The following morning, Sugar picked us up early to go to the Chengdu giant panda rescue and research center. Despite the significant size crowds, Sugar managed to get us from place to place for some great views and photos of the Giant Pandas. After leaving the pandas, she took us to a fantastic authentic local restaurant where she helped us order the best local cuisine. The lunch was truly fantastic and we even got to see a mask changing show at the restaurant! After we went to the Jinsha Site museum where she explained the site discovery and history. Lastly we went to Kuan Alley and walked and shopped. It was a really cool neighborhood. Sugar then gave us some great dinner recommendations for local Sichuan Hot Pot (including directions from the hotel)! We had the next morning to ourselves where we shopped at nearby stores. Sugar picked us up promptly and took us to the train station. She took us through security and to our gate to assure safe travels on our next leg. Sugar’s English was excellent and her bubbly personality made our time in Chengdu so fun! She is a great ambassador for Chengdu and we once again felt like we made a new friend!!

My local guide Rebecca has guided me professionally through the panda breeding research base as well as through the Wide and Narrow Alley as also the museum. as she is originate from Chengdu, she had a huge knowledge and happy to share tips and tricks. Living in Shanghai, I spent a 6-day break in Sichuan which ended up to be a fantastic experience. This is greatly thanks to my graceful, knowledgeable and care taking guide Lisa (additionally she also has a very good command of English). I shall also give a special mention to our driver who every day drove us safely in a very modern and clean "Hong Qi" (my first time, yep!) At no point in time would I feel any COVID-related risk, the company actually provided each day two masks and hand sanitizer(s). One personal regret was that I could not go to JiuZhaiGou, the site not being opened to foreigners (I was duly informed when I made the trip reservation); Nonetheless, I did see so many beautiful and interesting spots that it is only but a further motivation to come back. The epitome was obviously the Panda base, but just to state a few amongst others, I liked in particular LeShan big Buddha, Emei shan, QingCheng shan (the birth place of Taoism) and Dujiangyan, the irrigation system which has been in use for some 1500 years! I also enjoyed the food which eventually was not as spicy as I could have feared. Hum, this was again thanks to Lisa's good care who made sure that the dishes would be adapted to my european palate! In short, this trip has been a real match, it will remain vivid in my memory. Great thanks to all who took part to its flawless organization and made it so peasant.
