This review is based on my 2023 September 2nd trip. I knew I should have written this sooner rather than later; I had forgotten everything I wanted to share. Ah well, that means this review will be short (I hope). TAKEAWAYS Tour Guide: Rachel At first glance, Rachel comes off as a no-nonsense and slightly intimidating type of gal. That observation quickly faded when I realized she had a sarcastic and dry sense of humor. By the end of the tour, I felt like she was part of my family, and I would text her for life guidance. I didn't. Driver: Carlos Observing such a partnership between Rachel and our bus driver was pretty impressive. And bonus: he smiles a lot and is very cheerful. Tour in General By the end of the tour, I felt there was so much more to see and learn about the city. Not only the popular locations (ie. Charging Bull, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty), Rachel provided information about the cities, towns, sectors, history, and all the stuff that I found absolutely fascinating. Take note: Rachel said that by the end of the tour, everyone on the bus will know how to ride the subway trains. And dangit, this b*tch was right. Additionally, she made me feel comfortable doing so. I watched too much SVU and felt terrified to try it when I arrived in New York. I never rode an Uber the rest of my time in New York. Verdict: Highly Recommended I already recommended it to two(2) of my co-workers, and here I am, recommending the USA Tour Guide to you!

Was visiting NYC for only 4 days and wanted maximize our time. My daughter's first time here and wanted her to see as much as possible. Booked this 6 hours tour. Was greeted by Kevin P and driver Carlos( I think that was his name). Kevin gave us all a wonderful backstory and history lesson about the wonderful city. Even though we hit some traffic , his story telling was superb that we didn't feel like we were in traffic. We learned a lot in a short time and was very happy about this tour and will recommend to all our friends.

100% percent WORTH 6 hours of your NY day. Our Guide was Rachel and Driver Manny! Thank you both for a phenomenal well run and incredibly informative day. Rachel is FULL of tips and tricks that will have you feeling like a native by the end of your trip, or at least monstrously prepared for anything Uptown, Downtown or New Jersey has to offer. Do yourself a favor and snatch up this tour before it's sold out. You'll be upset you didn't jump on it sooner.

Rachel, our tour guide, and Ray, our driver, did an absolutely amazing job! We are so happy we reserved this tour. Helped us see and learn so much history of Manhattan, Ellis Island, and Statue of Liberty, amongst other history.

This was the tour me and my friend booked when we are in New York City. The tour was a half day tour and it took us everywhere. We really enjoyed ourselves. My favorite stop on the tour was definitely Central Park by the Strawberry Fields. It was so beautiful. Central Park is a must if you're visiting NYC. Our tour guide Rachel was super sweet; informative, funny, and amazing. I would book this same tour again and recommend it to my friends. We also got super lucky because we stayed at the Manhattan On Times Square and the tour bus pickup location was literally one block over.

Racheal was an incredible guide with a wealth of knowledge she shared with us! If this is your first trip to New York, I highly recommend making this your first tour! She not only teaches you about sights and historical facts, she also educates you on how to handle your self in New York! Such as how to protect yourself from Scammers, who and how to bargain lower prices for items, tickets and attractions. You to take the subway! She recommends other tours and attractions as well! Excellent bus driver and guide, she made it fun and she was so knowledgeable! Rachel rocks! Everything was on time. The bus tour was a smaller group which was really nice. Bus was comfortable and very clean.

Great overview of NYC in comfort with a knowledgeable and pleasant guide. Our stop for lunch at the Gansoovert Liberty Market offered a variety of food venues .... a perfect stop for a group! We explored a section of Central Park, rode the Staten Island ferry, and learned so much about the city itself. I definitely recommend

SHOUT OUT TO OUR AMAZING TOUR GUIDE, Jim! Best tour guide EVER! It was like having your own personal Danny Devito as a tour guide the only bummer was I was under the impression it was an Open-Top Bus... because I paid for an open top bus..... but it was a glass-top bus. Sort of a bummer because I get claustrophobic and ended up in the back row, pretty crammed and I felt motion sick on the drive from Rockefeller to the Staten Island Ferry (about 90 straight minutes in the bus). So I highly recommend getting to the meeting spot 30 minutes early to get a good spot on the bus that isn't the back row. Other than that, the tour was awesome! One more shout out to Jim who made the experience SO great.

7 Day Southwest National Parks Grand Canyon Camping Tour

An epic, whirlwind adventure! What an amazing trip! Our guide was Dylan and he was terrific. He was smart, informative, and funny. He customized our week based on our group - making sure we all had a say and got to experience these magical places in our own ways as much as reasonably possible. He even saved someone’s life from another van by doing the Heimlich Maneuver! We did the camping option. We had envisioned relaxing evenings by the campfire but that only happened a couple of times. Usually we were scrambling to set up camp in the dark and then get packed and ready to roll out with the sunrise so we could pack in as much adventure as possible. So many incredible moments along the journey - our van fam was wonderful, pizza at sunset on the Grand Canyon’s south rim, a night hike in Aches with shooting stars and the Milky Way, s’mores on our last night with the whole group, and Dylan’s playlists for every occasion… we came home exhausted and happy, with multiple bucket list items checked off. Highly recommend!

Gold Experience – 6 Days

Great tour and well organised to fit in as many sights as possible. Roberto, our guide, was considerate of everyone’s needs and gave expert bilingual commentary. I learnt so much, but admittedly would have liked even more commentary to go with the sights and the landscape we travelled through. Also, the first day in San Francisco didn’t quite match the description in the brochure (e.g. we were supposed to have a ‘boat tour’ the bay around Alcatraz and under the bridge but we caught the public ferry to Sausalito). Luckily, this improved as we went through the whole tour. The drivers did a good job as well to expertly cover so many miles in the time frame. Overall, I would certainly recommend this tour.

the tour itself was amazing. The national parks do not disappoint. The travel accomodations were very cramped and uncomfortable. I am only 5 foot tall and I was cramped in this 14 passenger van. Food opportunities were limited.

Magnificent West - 7 Days

Excellent tour stops and well worth the views. Plentiful bathroom and snack breaks, but the bus ride is long. However you cover 4 wonderful states, a drive I'd never do on my own. Edwardo was excellent tour guide and Roberto was nice but not as informative. Each hotel was clean and comfortable. Most offered a free hot breakfast. I recommend the tour and think it's a good value.

It was a very fun and adventuresome trip. The tour guide was well organized and hard working. The only problem was one of the camp sites was pretty primitive compared with the "KOA-style" campgrounds advertised by the company.

Fantastic experience. The hikes were all different but the landscapes equally stunning. Our CEO was excellent in his knowledge and his guidance of the group. There was alot of driving but it was the only way to see all 5 Parks, and was definitely worth it. It was a full on tour, but then that is what we wanted and paid for. Worth every penny!

It was an awesome tour. Saw and did so much. I would recommend Trafalgar to tour with. We are booked next year for The Colorful Trails of the SW in September. I want to say our tour director,Tyler Browning, is one of the best guides we have had. He is personable, friendly, caring, very knowledgeable and on top of everything. He is GREAT!

WOW! what an adventure! I had never been to Alaska before and was a little nervous about going by myself, but Dave, Natalie, and Carolina made everyone feel so welcome. I settled right in. During the 9 days on the trip, we saw Humpback Whales, Orcas, Sea Otters, Sea Lions, Seals, Dahl Sheep, Moose, Glaciers, Tons of Eagles, and I did the Bear Viewing trip to Lake Clark which was the Adventure of a Lifetime. we saw over 20 Brown Bears and 5 or 6 within 20 feet away. I had such a great time, I already booked the Denali trip for next Summer!

What people love about Fully Guided Tours in USA

We thoroughly enjoyed the 7-day tour of the US southwest . We love the destinations included in the tour, every place we visited is on our bucket list. I wanted to pinch myself every day that I visited those iconic and beautiful places as shown in my photos below. We enjoyed all the extra, optional experiences that were suggested by the tour guide. They added more fun to the tour. The Hummer tour in Moab, Utah was one of the optional experiences and it was a blast! Not only it’s fun, you get to see the amazing scenery during the sunset. One previous review mentioned he or she was forced to participate in the Navajo taco dinner in Monument Valley. That comment is not true. You have a choice not to do that and the guide can make a different arrangement for you. The optional Navajo taco dinner is one of the highlights of the tour that we will remember for a long time. It would be a shame not to have this cultural experience when you get to meet Navajo people when you are in the Navajo Nation! Our tour guide, John did a fantastic job. He was full of enthusiasm and energy. He kept the tour well organized and always provided information we needed. We highly recommend the tour.

The whole tour was really great. All our destinations were amazing. The tour guides were all good.. A great experience.

Meet your Guide and Begin your New York City Bus Tour

Our half-day New York City bus tour departs daily at 9 AM and 10 AM on 7th Ave between 50th & 51st Streets (in the middle of the block) and ends at 3 PM and 4 PM at the same location. Meet your driver and guide, and take a seat aboard your comfortable bus to begin.

After a drive through the Times Square area, our first stop is at Central Park West and 72nd Street, at the Dakota Building (former home of John Lennon). The stop includes a short, guided walk into Central Park to visit the Strawberry Fields. Here, discover the Imagine mosaic dedicated to John Lennon and admire fine views over the celebrity-owned condominiums. We’ll also drive by Central Park Zoo, the famous Plaza Hotel, and Carnegie Hall.

Rockefeller Center

The second stop on our tour is Rockefeller Center, where beautiful views over St. Patrick’s Cathedral await. We’ll also see the location of the winter ice-skating rink and Christmas Tree, and NBC’s Today Show set.

This area also provides spectacular views of dramatic architecture featured in numerous books and films, including the Flatiron Building (Godzilla, Spider-Man), the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower (The Runaway Skyscraper, Futurama), and of course the Empire State Building (King Kong, Independence Day).

We drive by Madison Square Park – the original location of Madison Square Garden Arena, and our tour continues with a drive through iconic NYC neighborhoods such as Greenwich Village, Soho, Chinatown, and the Financial District. En route to the fourth stop, we drive by Wall Street for views of the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall (the location of the first Capitol Building of the United States), Trinity Church, and the famous Charging Bull sculpture on Broadway.

World Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial

Our fourth stop is the World Trade Center, where we visit the 9/11 Memorial. The tour does not include entry into the 9/11 Museum, but visitors can walk the grounds of the Memorial, visit the waterfalls of “Reflecting Absence,” (the footprints of where the original twin towers stood), and see the Survivor Tree that withstood the destruction of 9/11.

Gansevoort Liberty Market Lunch Stop

Around 1 pm, we’ll stop for a quick lunch break at Gansevoort Liberty Market. Lunch is not included on your tour, but this is a great place to stop and pick up something tasty.

The Staten Island Ferry Ride

Our fifth stop is the Whitehall Terminal in downtown Manhattan, for a boat ride on the Staten Island ferry. During your relaxing cruise, soak up magnificent views over the Statue of Liberty to the Manhattan and Brooklyn skyline beyond. The boat docks back at the Whitehall Terminal, where we board our bus to head back to our original departure point on 7th Avenue in the Times Square area. Our tour concludes at 3 PM and 4 PM, back where it began.

We have been to NY many times and decided to take a guided bus tour this time. It was a very informative and enjoyable experience. Our tour guide, Tyler, was exceptional. She had an outstanding personality, very knowledgeable about NY, kept everybody engaged and her delivery was top notch. The tour was on a small open-air bus and it was a small group of 13 people. The tour included a combination of walking (very short distances) and sightseeing on the bus for 6 hours. Our tour guide Steve was outstanding!! He was full of information and anecdotal stories that really brought the history and culture of New York alive. the tour also included a trip on the Staten Island Ferry which provided great views of the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan. Although this tour is a bit expensive, it's worth it for a more personal tour with a native New Yorker like Steve. - Chip

My mom and I took this tour and I recommend that if you are looking to see the sights in NYC, you do the same!! We were guided by Tyler who was incredibly sweet and knew EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING and driven by Jose who somehow navigated the city without aggressively using the breaks or honking. Why type of buses does USA Guided Tours use?

Our luxury tour buses provide a comfortable and climate-controlled environment for an enjoyable touring experience, while also offering protection from the elements. We cater to various group sizes with a diverse fleet of vehicles, from SUVs to premium motor-coaches, ensuring that our private tours can be customized for couples or large groups alike. To maintain a more intimate atmosphere on our public tours, we intentionally limit the capacity of our tour buses to keep the average group size small. We do our best to keep large, same-party groups together on the same bus, but please remember that the seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you claim your seats – they’re reserved only for you for the duration of the tour.

Are we allowed to bring luggage on the tour?

Unfortunately, our shuttles are not wheelchair accessible, nor is there storage for baby strollers. If you have a wheelchair, please call us to make special vehicle arrangements for your tour. Some of our tours involve longer walks so if you like, you may stay on board the shuttle, near the landmark, without exiting the shuttle bus every time.
