Welcome to your ultimate guide to cannabis in Wine Country! Whether you’re new to cannabis or a frequent cannabis user doing research for a future trip to Northern California, we want you to be as informed as possible.

Our guide takes you through everything you need to know to buy, consume, and experience cannabis legally in Wine Country.

While we admit there is quite a bit of information to cover here, we’ve divided this article into sections to make it easier to use as a reference tool. Feel free to read straight through or see our outline below to skip ahead to a certain topic.

Before we dive in, we want to just point out that, like the alcohol-related activities you may enjoy in Wine Country, if you plan to use cannabis, please do so responsibly and safely (try not to skip the ‘rules’ section).

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, it’s time to talk all things cannabis!

How it started, how cannabis became legal in California

How it works, what are the rules, what you can and can’t do

Buying cannabis.

• Types of Dispensaries – recreational versus medical • What to expect when visiting a dispensary • Where to purchase – Leading dispensaries in Sonoma and Napa Counties • Delivery – how to order, delivery radius, and more

Consuming Cannabis

• What is THC vs. CBD • Types of Products

• What to know about wine & weed • Spas, Health & Wellness + Cannabis< • Cannabis Tours & Experiences • Safe Cannabis Use

How it all started in California Why you should care

Just call California “Cannabis Country.” Why? The state has long been at the forefront of the movement to legalize cannabis in the United States and it’s been estimated that 60 percent or more of all marijuana consumed in the U.S. comes from Northern California.

In 1972, California had the first ballot initiative in the U.S. attempting to legalize cannabis (Proposition 19). It was unsuccessful, but that didn’t stop them from trying and eventually, California became the first state to legalize medical cannabis with the passage of the Compassionate Use Act of 1996.

20 years later, they took another big step forward when California voters approved the Adult Use of Marijuana Act ( Proposition 64 ), which enables adults to legally use, grow, and transport marijuana for personal use — no medical marijuana card required (must be 21 or over).

With the passage of California’s Prop. 64, adults aged 21 and older are allowed to purchase, possess, and transport, up to one ounce — the equivalent of roughly 28 grams — of dried marijuana, or up to eight grams of cannabis concentrate (oils, edibles, topicals). Pro tip: that’s a lot of cannabis!

But just because cannabis is legal, doesn’t mean there aren’t still rules. Cannabis cannot be smoked in any public place, anywhere that tobacco is prohibited (which will apply to most/all restaurants and bars), and it cannot be possessed or used within 1,000 feet of a daycare, school, or youth center while children are present, for obvious reasons.

In case you were wondering… driving under the influence of cannabis is still very much illegal — yes, you can get a marijuana DUI, and the penalties are similar to alcohol DUIs. So just be aware you can’t smoke, drink or ingest it while driving or even while riding in the passenger seat.

This one probably stings the most for visitors, but it is also illegal to transport marijuana, purchased or obtained in California, across state lines. This means that if you’re traveling from out of state, you cannot legally bring any cannabis products purchased back home, whether you’re flying or driving. So sorry, cousin Fred, the weed cookies will have to wait. If you’re visiting from outside of California, consider your time in state and how much you’ll actually use; it’s very likely that you don’t need to purchase the max amount allowed.

How and Where?

You can legally purchase cannabis products in two ways:

1. Physical Dispensaries (recreational and medical)

2. Delivery services

Dispensaries

Types of dispensaries.

Okay, you’ve got the history and rules down, so now all you need to do is make your purchase, right? Before you do, it’s important to understand that there are two types of dispensaries in California: recreational and medical.

A recreational dispensary does not require a medical cannabis card. In order to shop at a recreational dispensary, you just need to show your ID to prove that you’re 21 years of age or older.

A medical dispensary does require a medical cannabis card and proof that you’re 18 years or older. These days, medical cards can be obtained pretty quickly and easily online (more on that below).

Now, we know what you’re thinking: If cannabis is legal in California, why aren’t all dispensaries recreational?

When it comes to Wine Country, there are more than a dozen recreational dispensaries in Sonoma County, but Napa County currently only allows medical dispensaries.

What to Expect When You Visit a Dispensary

Step 1 – bring your id.

We covered this point above, but let’s hit again to be safe. The most important thing to remember when going to a dispensary is to bring a valid ID (a state-issued ID card, state-issued driver’s license, or passport) to prove you’re of legal age. Dispensaries take these ID requirements seriously, so you should absolutely expect that your ID will be checked and scanned before you’re allowed entrance, even if you’re just “window shopping” or tagging along with someone that will ultimately be purchasing.

Step 2 – Bring Cash

Dispensaries only accept cash. We realize that’s a strange concept in today’s world of Venmo, Square, and other cashless payments, so why cash only? The short answer is that even though cannabis is legal in California, marijuana remains illegal under federal law. As a result, most financial institutions are not willing to provide financial services to dispensaries, such as credit card processing (see our FAQs section for more details on this).

To be safe, we recommend swinging by an ATM before you visit.

Step 3 – Shop and Ask Questions

Most dispensaries are well designed and comfortable, similar to a high-end retail shop with a variety of product options organized by category.

You will also be able to purchase any equipment needed for consumption, like rolling papers, pipes, and vape pens. Like wineries, dispensaries come in all sizes; some are large with a vast selection while others are more boutique and intentional with their product curation.

It’s best to treat the shopping experience like an art gallery, not a grab-n-go. Take your time, check out the different offerings, and most importantly, don’t be afraid to ask questions, for the products come in varying levels of potency and offer an array of effects. Pro tip: you will not be allowed to sample or consume products in a dispensary (another one of those pesky rules).

Lean on staff members — often referred to as “ budtenders ” (seriously, yes) — to help you make your selections. They can lay out everything you can expect to experience, suggest how much you should consume, and help you find the best match for a hike, relaxing by the pool, or just enjoying the scenery. The legalization of cannabis is still fairly new in California, so these budtenders act like pharmacists, happy to take the time to answer questions and educate newbies, so definitely take advantage of their knowledge and guidance

Step 4 – Pay

Cannabis products range vastly in price and the additional tax on cannabis purchases causes the jaws of many new cannabis consumers to drop.

So, don’t say we didn’t warn you: Be prepared to pay an additional 35 percent (on average) after state, local, and excise cannabis taxes.

Pro tip: Some dispensaries add taxes into the listed price of products, so ask the budtender if tax is included to make sure you understand the full price before you check out.

Pro tip 2: You cannot return products once you purchase, so make sure you know exactly what you want before you check out. We recommend buying in smaller quantities to start if you’re a first-time user of a particular product.

Top Wine Country Dispensaries to Visit

As we mentioned above, there are more than a dozen recreational dispensaries in Sonoma County, but Napa County only has medical dispensaries. We have included a few of our favorite dispensaries segmented by geography.

CANNABIS DELIVERY

Like everything else in the digital age, you can also buy cannabis online and have it delivered to your door. Yep, we’re serious. Delivery companies offer on-demand delivery of cannabis products all throughout California. Here is how it works:

Step 1: Find the Right Delivery Company. There are companies that specialize in cannabis delivery and then there are dispensaries that also offer delivery services. When selecting a delivery company, make sure they deliver to your address (house, hotel or vacation rental). For example, many delivery companies will not deliver to some addresses in Napa Valley. See dispensaries section above and delivery-only companies below in this section.

Step 2: Have Cash. Delivery companies only accept cash, so be sure you have cash before placing your order.

Step 3: Place Order Online. Visit the delivery company website, select your products, and complete the check out process. Some companies like SPARC have both a dispensary and delivery service. Browse and order your products directly through the SPARC website and they will then deliver your order.

Most cannabis orders are delivered in 1-2 hours depending on your location and the time of your order. Similar to a food delivery service, if you order during the peak demand times, your order could take longer to be delivered, so plan accordingly.

Each delivery company communicates differently, but most provide delivery confirmation and updates via text message.

Eaze Online Chat: Eaze Online Chat & Support Hours: Daily 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Online Ordering: YES

Choose Your Own Adventure

The sheer amount of options for consuming cannabis can be overwhelming and intimidating, especially because each product offers a different experience and can be entirely unique in how (and when) it affects your body.

But this isn’t a bad thing. Recent innovations in the industry — fueled by wider acceptance and legalization — have resulted in seemingly unlimited possibilities for safe experimentation and use. The world, as they say, is your oyster.

Let’s start with the basics: THC vs. CBD

You are going to hear and see these two acronyms a lot, so let’s break it down. Both CBD and THC are cannabinoids derived from the cannabis plant, but there’s one major difference: THC is psychoactive and CBD is not. What does that mean, exactly?

Psychoactive is a term applied to chemical substances that change a person’s mental state by affecting the way the brain and nervous system work. Alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine are all psychoactive products. So, if a cannabis product includes THC on the label, it will likely make you “feel high” depending on the amount you consume.

CBD on the other hand is NOT psychoactive, so you will NOT < “feel high” when using cannabis with only CBD. CBD-only products are most commonly used for pain management and to relieve stress and anxiety, so you can put the Cheetos and other munchies away for the time being. But in all seriousness, studies have shown CBD can also help manage symptoms for a variety of medical conditions, including arthritis, anxiety, and general pain relief. The popularity of spa treatments incorporating CBD-based oils is growing rapidly.

When purchasing cannabis, the products will clearly state what cannabinoids it includes (THC or CBD, or both). You’ll find that many products are actually hybrids that contain both.

How to Consume Cannabis

Cannabis products (both CBD and THC) have evolved significantly over the past 15 years thanks to legalization. A surge of new products on the market offers consumers the option to eat, drink, rub, vape, and of course, smoke cannabis products.

Frankly, it can all be a little overwhelming. However, this is where a budtender can be really helpful. They will listen to how you want to feel (relaxed) or what you are seeking (sleep aid) and then recommend specific products. Here is a quick cheat sheet on the different cannabis product categories.

  • Flowers (classic marijuana buds smoked) – today’s flower cannabis has lots of variety. Whether you want to mellow out, perk up, or get help sleeping, there is a flower strain for every occasion.
  • Beverages (cannabis-infused drinks) – a fantastic (and low calorie) option to experience cannabis. From cannabis seltzer to cannabis hops water (it tastes like an IPA beer) to cannabis cold brew (caffeine + weed), new options are coming online every month.
  • Edibles (gummies, chocolate, mints) – we are a long way from your homemade pot brownies! Cannabis edibles are one of the most popular cannabis product categories thanks to product variety (types of edibles and amount of cannabis in each product). Our good friends at Garden Society offer artisan-crafted cannabis-infused chocolates.
  • Cartridges & Extracts (used for vaping cannabis) – these products are used with vape pens or products and are inhaled. There is no smoke and minimal to no smell, so if you are looking for a discreet cannabis option, vaping may be the answer.
  • Topicals – CBD topical oils, balms and bath bombs, used for general relaxation and pain relief, are great self-care and wellness options.

What you need to know during your visit and when you head home

Mixing wine & weed.

There’s a good chance that if you’re visiting Wine Country, you’re going to be visiting wineries, drinking wine, and enjoying Wine Country’s famous farm-to-table cuisine. So what happens if you bring weed into the mix?

Alcohol is known to increase the effects of marijuana, resulting in a stronger high when used together. The important thing to remember is that everyone reacts differently. If you’re new to cannabis, you may want to tread lightly with how much wine you consume beforehand.

Spas, Health & Wellness + Cannabis

A few of our favorite Wine Country spas offering CBD treatments include Bardessono in Yountville (Napa Valley) and Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa.

Cannabis Tours & Experiences

Another great — and safe — introduction to the world of weed is a cannabis tour or experience. Lead by local experts, cannabis tours are a unique way to learn and experience cannabis in different contexts.

Our good friend Jared Giammona at The Sonoma Experience is one of the best around and hosts some of our favorite tours including a Wine & Cannabis tour, a Craft Beer & Cannabis tour, and a behind the scenes immersive cannabis tour.

Safe Cannabis Use

There are a few best practices for ensuring your cannabis experience is safe and enjoyable. New cannabis users should start with small amounts (let’s say 2.5 milligrams) and opt for products with mild THC levels (the budtenders at the dispensary can help you find the best products for beginners). Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid cannabis.

Pro tip: Staying hydrated will help your body process cannabis.

We already talked about how driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal, and not to be a buzzkill, but it’s also very dangerous. Like alcohol, cannabis can impair your ability to operate a motorized vehicle safely by affecting judgment, coordination, and reaction time.

Heading Home

Pro tip: It’s illegal to transport marijuana purchased or obtained in California, across state lines. This applies to flying, driving, and even taking a train or bus. So, if you are visiting from out of state, it’s a “use it or lose it” situation. The best practice is to purchase cannabis in smaller amounts if you’re visiting for a short period of time. You can always get more!

So, now you are in the know about all things cannabis in Wine Country.

Yes, our cannabis tours are 100% legal. We hold a business license with the City of Eureka and the County of Humboldt. We received the first special permit from the County of Humboldt to operate cannabis farm tours. We also hold a Transportation Charter Party license from the California Public Utilities Commission. The farms and cannabis businesses that we visit are licensed by Humboldt County and the state of California. You can rest assured that these tours are legal in California.

Cannabis consumption is an optional part of the tour. Most of our guests actually choose not to consume, and we stand by those who choose not to, whatever the reason.

Anyone who is curious about cannabis will enjoy our tours. Our experiences focus on education and interaction with the cannabis plant and the community that cultivates it.

Smoking is not allowed inside the van or any closed space. We advocate responsible cannabis consumption and promote informed consent. We are adamant that those who choose to use cannabis do so under their own terms. We also stand by those who choose not to consume, and our tour guides uphold a no peer pressure policy.

No . However, you will need a valid identification showing that you are at least 21 years old. Those with a California medical recommendation do not pay taxes at the dispensary and can purchase more products per day. Other than at the checkout, there is not much difference between medical and recreational in the state of California.

We own our tour van. She is a glossy black 2015 Nissan NV 3500 named Mona . With less than 100k miles, she can hold 11 passengers in three bench seats, and is equipped with a separate AC unit as well as curtain airbags in the back, for comfort and safety. Our van is a critical part of our business and we go above and beyond the state’s strict maintenance requirements to keep her in tip top shape. Some say it’s the cleanest van in Humboldt.

Sober Travelers Find Something to Savor in Wine Country

Mocktail trails, olive oil tours and elevated dining experiences are among the many ways the renowned wine-producing areas of Sonoma, Mendoza and Tuscany are appealing to sober or sober-curious travelers.

A green, brown and yellow illustration of a woman wearing a wide-brimmed hat and biking through a wine vineyard.

By Christine Chitnis

Amy Snook knows more about wine than your average traveler. Originally from California, she now lives in the Douro Valley of Portugal, her partner works in the wine industry, and she has visited 47 countries, many of which have celebrated viticulture. But seven years ago, on a trip to Mendoza, a winemaking region in the foothills of Argentina’s Andes Mountains, she opted to abstain from drinking alcohol, a decision she would repeat in future travels.

“It’s such a long flight to Argentina, and I was only there for 10 days,” said Ms. Snook, 34, a publishing professional. “I’m aware of how alcohol affects me, and I chose to prioritize feeling amazing every day of the trip over dealing with a hangover.”

During her visit, Ms. Snook bicycled between vineyards, reveled in breathtaking scenery, relaxed with spa treatments and engaged with sommeliers and winemakers, coming away with a new appreciation for sustainable and regenerative agriculture.

“The obvious question when you tell someone that you aren’t drinking is, ‘Out of all the places you could go, why travel to wine country?’” she said. “But to me, it makes perfect sense because these regions offer all the perks of luxury travel — wellness amenities, beautiful landscapes and fine dining.”

With 41 percent of Americans seeking to reduce their alcohol intake, according to a consumer-sentiment study released in January by NCSolutions, Ms. Snook’s experience is part of a larger trend: the rise of sober-curious or mindful drinking. While sober travel is hardly a new concept, its popularity is surging to new heights — particularly among younger generations — and forcing a reckoning in the wine industry. The 2024 State of the U.S. Wine Industry report , an annual forecast of market conditions and trends written by the wine-business analyst Rob McMillan, found that 52 percent of consumers ages 21 to 34 believe that consuming alcohol, even in moderation, is bad for your health.

This trend is reshaping travel to world-class wine destinations like Sonoma County, in California, as well as Mendoza and Tuscany. Blessed with temperate climates, extended growing seasons, fertile soils, rich histories and breathtaking vistas, these renowned wine locales are expanding their offerings to attract drinkers and nondrinkers.

Here are some of the restaurants, tour groups and wineries in those regions that are reinventing the travel experience to be more inclusive of the sober-curious.

Dining in Sonoma

If wine is a true expression of the land, embodying the unique characteristics of its soil, weather and the meticulous craftsmanship of those who cultivate it, can you still forge that connection without drinking?

At Cyrus , a Michelin-starred fine dining destination in Geyserville , Calif., the answer is a resounding yes. Sonoma County, double the size of neighboring Napa, made conscious decisions to protect and diversify its land use, ensuring grapes as well as agricultural crops were grown. Douglas Keane, Cyrus’s owner and chef, highlights the local harvest by working with small farms and purveyors to source his ingredients. Crosnes — a Chinese artichoke — from Alexander Valley Vineyards gardens, yuzu and finger limes from the citrus grower David Levine, and cheesefrom Andante Dairy have all ended up on Cyrus’s menu.

Also on the menu: Kally , an alcohol-free wine alternative produced with housemade organic verjuice and sourced from Northern California. Served at more than 15 other Michelin-starred restaurants, Kally’s bottles include Early Chardonnay, which is crisp, bright and changes flavor and aroma as it moves across the palate, similar to a fine wine. A tart, vibrant Golden Sparkler has notes of jasmine and citrus, and a floral, fruity Rosé Sparkler offers hints of strawberry and hibiscus.

“Chefs and sommeliers are interested in having precise nonalcoholic pairings. Their food was created to be prepared with sophisticated drinks, not just sparkling water,” said Scott Mitic, who created the beverage along with his wife, Katie.

Customers, too, appreciate having a choice, he said, noting that many of Kally’s most loyal drinkers are wine enthusiasts. “This is not an abstinence movement; it is a moderation movement.”

Cyrus Schultz, the wine director and sommelier at Cyrus, aims to create drinks that make sober guests feel just as special, if not more, than those indulging in traditional wine pairings. His nonalcoholic creations include the Rosé Champagne, an effervescent blend of coconut, white sesame, cherry blossom and lime, and the Apple Martini, a sweet, herbaceous concoction of pink lady apple, fennel and mint olive oil.

“The intention is never to mimic alcohol products, but to construct the pairings similarly to how a chef looks at a menu — different textures, temperatures and flavor profiles,” Mr. Schultz said.

These efforts are not limited to one restaurant. Chris Vomvolakis, senior manager of consumer public relations at Sonoma County Tourism , said bars, restaurants and wineries across the region are recognizing that it’s not all about wine.

The town of Healdsburg recently created the Mocktail Trail , with eight participating restaurants, and Meadowcroft Wines in the town of Sonoma curated a flight of original zero-proof cocktails. David Messerli, Meadowcroft’s marketing and strategy director, said the winery encourages guests “to discern aromas, flavors and nuances, much like they would with wine.”

“For those opting out of alcohol, we felt there was more we could do,” he said. “People have various reasons for abstaining from alcohol, and no one should feel excluded because of it.”

Women-led luxury in Mendoza

Mendoza, renowned for its malbec wines and stunning Andean landscapes, is no stranger to luxury accouterments, but sober guests? That is a newer phenomenon. “We have definitely noticed an increase in guests seeking nonalcoholic travel options in recent years,” said Victoria Stiles, sales manager at Cavas Wine Lodge , a luxury 18-room hotel set amid a 55-acre vineyard.

At Cavas, wine may be the main attraction, but guests can book spa treatments using vine and grape-seed extracts, join yoga sessions on the private terrace overlooking the Andes and vineyards, and take full-day hiking excursions to Aconcagua Provincial Park, a rugged, mountainous destination that is home to Mount Aconcagua, South America’s highest peak.

Wild Terrains , a certified B-Corp travel company specializing in experiences for women, has planned three days of a 10-day Argentina tour to be sober-inclusive in Mendoza. Built around women-owned businesses, stops include boutique lodging at Entre Cielos , horseback riding in the Andean foothills, home-cooked asado at Estancia Los Chulengos and a private dining experience at Michelin-starred Zonda Cocina de Paisaje . The meal offers special mocktail pairings with distinct flavors like lemon verbena, beets and burro, an herb used to make digestive teas and infusions.

“In Mendoza, our trip centers on talented female winemakers who are pushing boundaries in a historically male-dominated industry,” said Lauren Bates, founder of Wild Terrains. “While these experiences include wine tastings, we want sober travelers to feel intentionally included even if they are skipping the wine tasting.”

Sofia Pescarmona, owner of the Bodega Lagarde vineyard and Zonda Cocina de Paisaje, said that while the restaurant experience aims to showcase their wine, nondrinkers will also appreciate it.

“We truly believe we can offer an elevated experience for those who don’t drink wine by highlighting other seasonal produce grown on our property,” she said.

Tasting olive oil in Tuscany

Wine tastings epitomize indulgence, especially immersed in the heart of Tuscany, when visitors can savor glass after glass of Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Salvatore Ferragamo Jr., chief executive of the Il Borro wine estate and grandson of the fashion house’s founder, encourages guests to find other ways to indulge.

“The olive harvests in the autumn produce the region’s spicy, piquant ‘green gold,’” said Mr. Ferragamo.

Il Borro, in Tuscany’s Valdarno, is a meticulously restored medieval village that includes 58 suites, three vacation villas, two restaurants, stables, working vineyards and olive groves. Olive oil production began in 1996, following the recovery of varieties like Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino that had long been neglected. Now, after touring some 80 acres of organic groves, guests can engage in a tasting experience of two distinct oils, one full-bodied with floral, fruity and grassy aromas, the other robust, peppery and dark.

Another option, Tuscan Organic Tours , offers immersive daylong experiences that delve into wine and oil but also other rich agricultural offerings. Delicious tours with private transportation highlight tastes and flavors that include Pecorino di Pienza, one of the most renowned Italian cheeses, saffron and fresh pastas. The tours include visits to organic farms, lunches, tastings, and opportunities to participate in cheese-making and saffron harvesting.

Fred was great! Fun stops, good times, great scenery! I have nothing to add to prior reviews! Fred is very communicative, making sure you know the area and what to expect. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and weed/wine in general -- ask him about his time as a DJ :) Thanks for making a great day, Fred!

We had a great time with Fred on the WCWT. Fred was very helpful prior to booking, going over all the trip details. The trip was super fun and Fred's knowledge about the area is fascinating. We toured dispensaries and a spectacular winery, which included wine tastings. Fred also drove us around the area and showed the local towns. If you are very in Sonoma, we highly recommend booking a tour with Fred.

Photo of Will P.

My buddy and I had a great day with Fred touring the most incredible dispensary I've ever seen in Sonoma. It's an adult Disneyland with everything you could ever want and then some. Then he drove us to a spectacular winery in Healdsburg, where he knew the hosts and pourers who gave us an insider's tasting that made us feel like we were VIP's. His calm, cool professionalism and friendly easy demeanor made us feel like we were with an old friend. We'll definitely tour again with Fred when we're next in wine country and I highly recommend that you do the same, leaving the driving to a pro so you can party like a pro!

Went up on short notice for a Sonoma County wine trip on an unusually warm and beautiful Sunday in February. Was able to contact W.C.W.T. and schedule a trip for two on relatively short notice. All the pricing is on the web site and Fred the owner and driver can and will accommodate most requests. For example, we wanted more wineries rather than the cannabis tours, this is no problem at all. Having said that we did a brief stop at the Santa Rosa OganiCann just to check it out and indeed it is impressive even if you have been into other dispensaries. I am told it is the largest in Northern CA and I believe it. We then moved on to Healdsburg where Fred phoned in an order of sandwiches for us to pick up at the Oakville Market. From there with our lunch we continued on to Dry Creek and had a wonderful lunch with wine at the beautiful Ferrari-Carano Winery. We continued on to beautiful Sonoma Lake and had tasting at two additional wineries that we requested (Fred suggest Ferrari-Carano to his credit). Fred is professional, hospitable, and is very knowledgeable about the Sonoma Wine/Cannabis culture. His main vehicle is a Ford Flex Wagon that can accommodate up to six (five seems more comfortable). The vehicle is very clean and Fred will provide water and power for cell devices if need be. However, I would note that as you get up into some or the wineries a bit off the beaten track there is no cell service. Fred told me if you have a large group he has access to the larger and more van like vehicles on advanced request. Great trip to Sonoma and will return for sure.

Just had incredible tour with Fred up in Santa Rosa last weekend. I came across WCWT through PotGuide and found that they were running a special tour deal, $99 a person with a 3 person minimum. Fred picked us up in his Ford SUV (5 of us) and overall we had a great time. He took us around to a few great wineries and dispensaries. He took us to two different dispensaries and both of them had a great selection. He even recommended a few good restaurants in the Santa Rosa area. We all really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend his hospitality and friendliness.

Photo of Ann J.

Fabulous tour of amazing Sonoma County. Never would have been able to see these places without Fred's guidance. Comfortable, safe and affordable, it's a must if you want the full insider experience.

Photo of Don F.

Great Break from the traditional all wine tour. It was a great break from the norm. Sonoma and Napa need more of these types of experiences. Had a great time!

Photo of Deborah R.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed pairing fine wine with California's best cannabis. Fred came right to our Airbnb as promised. We had the best of both worlds, my boyfriend enjoys a good smoke, and I enjoy sipping a fine wine. Our personal guide was knowledgeable, easy going and great company. It was worth every penny to not worry about driving and just enjoy the experience. We highly recommend this small business for a personal, unique tour.
